Strictly Come Dancing kicked out its first star of 2025 tonight (October 5), but who left the show?
Last night saw all 15 celebrities take to the Strictly floor. Ellie Goldstein performed a gorgeous waltz, Lewis Cope came under fire for “showing off” and Motsi Mabuse faced backlash over her comments towards Karen Carney.
The real drama, though, came tonight, with two stars finding themselves in the first dance-off of the season.
So what happened on Strictly tonight? Read on and we’ll tell you!

Who left Strictly Come Dancing tonight?
Thomas Skinner and Amy Dowden found themselves dancing that Bonkers salsa again as they danced-off against Chris Robshaw and Nadiya Bychkova.
Chris was also forced to perform his Viennese waltz again for the judges. And, ultimately, all four judges chose to save the rugby player, with The Apprentice star being given his marching orders.

Viewers react
The majority of Strictly fans seemed to think the judges made the right decision. However, many said they were upset for Amy Dowden, who is a huge favourite among viewers.
“The correct result although I’m surprised that he went straight into the dance off and I thought they’d have been more popular. So happy that Ross [King] is safe I knew that dance would save him,” said one.

“Never warmed to Tom and it has nothing to do with the negative press he’s been receiving I just don’t like him at all. They should have given Amy a better partner for her comeback show. That’s sad,” said another.
“I feel for Amy. Not a fan of Tom but they were stitched up with that dance – everything about it was set up for failure,” a third commented.
“Feel desperately sorry for Amy, an absolutely lovely person who deserved more than to be saddled with the person they got,” said another.
“Poor Amy. But hopefully we’ll see her again if she needs to take over from Dianne [Buswell] to be Stefan Dennis’ partner,” said another, touching on fears pregnant Dianne may be forced to exit the competition early.
Strictly Come Dancing fans rallied around Ellie Goldstein during Saturday’s episode (October 4) after she sparked concern last week.
The model was back on the dance floor for the second live show this weekend. Partnered with Vito Coppola, the pair have become firm favourites with viewers so far.
Last week though, Ellie was captured looking teary after performing a cha cha cha with Vito. However, she later clarified that her watery eyes were nothing to worry about.
And during Strictly on Saturday (October 4) fans noticed a big change that the programme has seemingly made for Ellie.

Ellie Goldstein performs on Strictly
On Strictly this weekend, Ellie and Vito performed a gorgeous waltz to Elton John’s Your Song. The actress looked stunning in a sparkly frock, while Vito looked dapper in a purple suit.
The routine – that bagged a total of 23 points – went down a treat with fans and the judges. As for feedback, Shirley Ballas gushed: “Boy, can you spin, girl? Well done, you.” Meanwhile, Anton Du Beke agreed: “Your underarm spins are an absolute delight.”
Throughout the episode though, fans noticed that Ellie was seemingly allowed to take a break from the ‘Clauditorium’ area, where co-host Claudia chats to fellow contestants.
Last week, this was where Ellie sparked concern when viewers were worried that the TV star looked close to tears.

Reacting to Ellie “being excused” from the ‘Clauditorium’, one person said on X: “Ellie back in the Clauditorium after her break.
“She looks so much more comfortable up there this week, hopefully taking the break away from everything helps.”
Another Strictly Come Dancing fan added: “Ellie looks like she’s enjoying tonight’s show a lot more.” A third chimed in: “I note that Ellie is being excused from the ensemble on the balcony as she needs. Good to see that accommodation being made for her.”

Ellie on reports she was upset
Earlier this week, Ellie appeared on It Takes Two where she addressed headlines that suggested she was upset last weekend.
Host Fleur East said: “Now, Ellie, a few people online thought you looked upset on Saturday. But backstage, you told me you had a great night. Did you enjoy it?”
While answering with a smile on her face, Ellie responded: “Yes, I did! I wasn’t upset at all, I was absolutely fine. I had a great night with [Vito], I had the best night ever.”
Strictly Come Dancing fans were left emotional after watching Ellie Goldstein’s “beautiful” performance on the programme.
The model is one of the many famous faces taking part in this year’s series of the glitzy BBC One show. Partnered with Vito Coppola, the pair have become firm favourites with viewers.
On Saturday (October 4) Ellie and Vito were back on the dance floor for the second live show, after she was captured looking teary last week. And it’s fair to say there was not a dry eye in the house after Ellie and Vito’s “wholesome” performance.
As for Ellie, she performed a waltz with Vito to Elton John’s Your Song. The actress looked stunning in a sparkly frock, while Vito looked dapper in a purple suit.
As for feedback, Shirley Ballas gushed: “Boy, can you spin, girl? Well done, you.” Meanwhile, Anton Du Bdke agreed: “Your underarm spins are an absolute delight.
“Your feet are coming together, beautiful. If you’re going to continue to improve all the things that everybody asks you to do, you’re going to be unstoppable.”
The pair ended up getting an impressive score of 23 from the judges.

Strictly fans left in tears
Strictly Come Dancing fans at home were left rather emotional after watching Ellie’s performance. On X, one person said: “Absolutely impeccable from Ellie. Balletic. No YOU’RE crying.”
Another added: “Fully crying at Ellie’s waltz, wow that was just beautiful.” A third chimed in: “Please don’t tell me I’m the only one (happy) crying at Ellie and Vito’s Waltz! Beautiful!”
Echoing their thoughts, someone else wrote: “Stop, I’m crying that was such a pretty dance.” A fifth declared: “Crying at Ellie and Vito, so wholesome.”

Ellie sparked concern last week
Meanwhile last week, viewers were worried that Ellie looked close to tears.
And, while Ellie looked like she thoroughly enjoyed the performance, some were concerned that the excitement of the live show may have been a bit much for the youngster.
Contestant Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and pros, Karen Hauer and Dianne Buswell, all stepped in to comfort her, sparking further rumours that the Vogue cover star was not okay.
Fans took to social media tweeting that she looked “overwhelmed” or “upset”. However, Ellie later clarified that her watery eyes were nothing to worry about.
Motsi Mabuse has come under fire for her “ridiculous” feedback to Strictly Come Dancing star Karen Carney.
The glitzy BBC One show returned to screens on Saturday night (October 4) for its second live show. Taking to the dance floor, were famous faces like Amber Davies, Alex Kingston and Thomas Skinner.
Footballer Karen Carney performed too with partner Carlos Gu. However, when it came to judge Motsi’s feedback on Karen’s dance, fans were not at all impressed…

Strictly Karen Carney on ‘really hard’ health issue
On Strictly on Saturday night (October 4) Karen and Carlos performed a tango to the Dua Lipa song Training Season.
“I have this thing called Scheuermann’s. I’ve had it since I was a kid. It’s a curve in my spine. It’s really, really hard for me to open my back up,” Karen shared.
She added: “There’s certain elements that I just won’t be able to do as well.”
Nonetheless, that didn’t stop Karen from giving it 100% as she and Carlos took to the dance floor to perform their routine.
Once they were done, Karen and Carlos received their feedback – but it was judge Motsi’s comment that didn’t go down well with people watching at home.

What did Motsi say about Karen?
Motsi said: “First of all thank you for sharing with us about your curved spine.”It is going to be something that we have to challenge to see how far we can stretch and open because it is a ballroom dance and a specific posture that we need.”
She then noted that she could “feel the nerves” from Karen, but added that she performed some “great spins”.
Motsi also shared: “Think about breathing, loosening up, connecting to your partner and really understanding the fundamentals, and then we will get there.”
After receiving the feedback, Karen and Carol were given their scores. Craig Revel Horwood gave them 4, Motsi gave 5, Shirley Ballas gave 5 and Anton Du Beke gave 6, giving them a total of 20 points.
Motsi was slammed by viewers (Credit: BBC)
Viewers slam Motsi for Karen feedback
However, Strictly viewers took an issue with Motsi’s feedback and rushed over to X to call her out.
One person fumed: “Quite disgusted that Karen opened up about having a condition that causes a curved spine and Motsi’s reaction was to say they should “challenge” it instead of accommodating it.”
Another added: “So Karen says she has a curved spine and Motsi says she needs to stretch it out. What is the woman on? Criticising someone for something they cannot do anything about is beyond ridiculous.”
A third chimed in: “Did Motsi just suggest that Karen has to ‘work’ on her spine curvature.”
Someone else mused: “Motsi being a bit harsh and too personal with mentioning the curved spine and how it may affect her scoring.. It’s a medical condition. Hope she treats all other competitors with that same view point!”
A fifth wrote: “Thank u craig for adding some positives atleast, god forbid someone has something they CANNOT change. you can’t fix a curved spine overnight.”
Vicky Pattison has been flooded with support after revealing that she went back to therapy before starting her stint on Strictly Come Dancing.
The former Geordie Shore star, who is one of 15 contestants taking part in the BBC dance show, posted a slew of snaps on Instagram. The carousel of pictures included Vicky with her dogs, her husband Ercan, and the star with This Morning therapists Nik and Eva Speakman.
Strictly star Vicky Pattison on her ‘struggles’ ahead of show
She wrote a long caption to accompany the post, starting: “I knew before Strictly even started I was going to struggle with my nerves and anxiety… so much so, that I almost said no to this incredible opportunity. I almost let my fear stop me from doing something amazing.
“But I absolutely don’t want that nasty little inner critic to dictate my life. I don’t want it to convince me that I’m not capable of doing brilliant things once in a while. So I put on my big girl pants and instead I tried to get myself in the best possible place before I started this little journey.”
Vicky continued to reveal the self-care rituals she embarked on ahead of her stint on the show, which sees her paired with pro dancer Kai Widdrington.
She added: “I did things for me… that I potentially haven’t done enough of recently. I practiced self care, went back to therapy, allowed myself to feel all my things, fear included… and you know what? I felt better.”

‘It doesn’t have to be your reality’
Reaching out to her army of fans, she continued: “You might not be doing Strictly, but we all get the opportunity to do exciting and amazing things in our lives. And I just wanted this to be your sign to go for it. Whether it’s the career change, the blind date, the solo trip… Just go for it. Anxiety is our brain trying to convince us that the worst possible outcome is going to be your reality… but it doesn’t have to be.”
Her attention then turned to tonight’s (October 4) live show, and the looming first elimination on Sunday night.
“Whatever happens tomorrow, I’ve tried my best, made loads of lovely new friends and had a ball… and my brain almost convinced me not to do this! If any of this resonates with you, please stop getting in your own way… you are brave, brilliant and powerful beyond measure.
“And there’s a whole exciting world of amazing things waiting for you… if you just get out of your comfort zone and go for it once in a while. We get one life and we all deserve to turn our vision boards into our camera roll.”
She signed off: “Yours Sincerely, A still very nervous, but proud of herself for doing it anyway little egg.”
Vicky was flooded with support. Strictly make-up artist Lisa Armstrong, Dani Dyer, Chris Robshaw and Balvinder Sopal were among those hitting the like button.
In one picture, Vicky revealed that she’d “had a good cry… snot and everything”.

‘You are strong and brave’
Fans also sent their love to the star in the comments section. One said: “You will be amazing, my 2025 winner right here!!”
Another commented: “Vicky you’re a fantastic woman and I’ve loved watching your career grow for years now. Know that you are strong and brave, your dancing last week was just amazing! You are showed the meaning of true courage and that trumps everything! Keep smashing it gorgeous, we are rooting for you!”
A third also shared the same sentiments: “We’re all very proud of you Vicky. You’ve got this. You have all of us rooting for you.”

Amy Dowden spoke about how Thomas Skinner was helping her through her illness (Credit: BBC)
Amy Dowden unwell ahead of Strictly week 2
Introducing the couple, Janette said: “It’s Tom and Amy!”
She then spoke to the former Apprentice star, asking him if he enjoyed his first live show.
Talk then turned to Amy. Janette said: “Now Amy, I know you’re a little bit under the weather, so excuse Amy today, but he made you a beautiful drink to help you out, didn’t he?”
“He did,” said a very hoarse Amy. “With tumeric, ginger, pepper.” “With everything in there, everything you need,” said Janette. “So I won’t make you talk too too much,” she said, before asking what Amy made of Thomas’ first dance.
Struggling to get her words out, she revealed that she found it “so rewarding” to see Thomas on the Strictly dance floor. “Seeing him transform, and to have the confidence that Tom had, you name it, you did such a great job,” she said as her voice broke again.
Viewers on the hashtag soon wished Amy better. However, one touched on her slightly controversial pairing with Thomas as they said: “And now poor Amy has the lurgy – girl can’t catch a break!”

Thomas Skinner reveals weight loss
Thomas has also been concentrating on his health. He’s switched his fry ups for healthier breakfasts of fruit and yogurt, and he’s lost a stone since starting out on the show.
“I’ve noticed my trousers are getting a little bit bigger,” he said.
Good job Strictly costume designer Vicky Gill was also on It Takes Two tonight then, in case of any last-minute wardrobe alterations ahead of Saturday night!
Tonight’s It Takes Two saw Stefan Dennis and Dianne Buswell appear alongside host Janette Manrara. And the Strictly Come Dancing stars’ interview was briefly halted while the presenter offered her double congratulations to the pair.
As Strictly fans will know, Dianne is pregnant with her first baby. She’s making history as the first show pro to take part in the series while pregnant. The baby – that she’s expecting with partner Joe Sugg – is due next spring.
Stefan, meanwhile, has also had reason to celebrate this week…

Double celebration for Strictly stars Stefan and Dianne
Stefan and Dianne were the fourth Strictly 2025 couple to appear on tonight’s It Takes Two (October 1).
After a clip of their Week 1 foxtrot to the Neighbours theme tune played out, Janette declared: “Now, before we get into things, can we have a massive round of applause for you Stefan for winning Best Daytime Star for Paul Robinson at the Inside Soap Awards,” as Dianne cheered.
Then it was Dianne’s turn to have the spotlight turned on her.
“Plus,” said Janette, “of course a huge congratulations to Dianne and Joe on the wonderful baby news!” Stefan cheered as Janette added: “We all love you here at It Takes Two and it’s just amazing.”
“Thank you,” said Dianne, before Janette declared: “But let’s talk about the dancing.”

‘Tricks up their sleeve’ for Week 2
The Aussie pals then spoke about how much they enjoyed their first live show, before revealing how training for Week 2 is coming along. They’ll dance a cha cha on Saturday’s live show (October 4).
“We’ve got a couple of tricks up our sleeves,” Stefan teased, as a training room clip showed behind them on screen.
“It’s kind of like a video-clip style of dance,” said Dianne. “So we’re taking you back to an 80s video clip, and we’re going to have full 80s outfits and there might be a mullet,” she said, explaining the dance will be “entertaining, colourful and fun”.
Wrapping up the interview, Janette told Dianne and Stefan: “Good luck this weekend, I hope it goes well. One more time congratulations for all the amazing-ness that’s happening.”
Fans of Strictly are hoping that contestant Thomas Skinner will be the first to be booted off this year.
The former Apprentice star, 34, has been paired with Welsh dancer Amy Dowden for the 2025 series. However, since being announced for this year’s line-up, Thomas has been recognised as this year’s most controversial celeb.
He has been very open about being a Donald Trump fan and has been accused of having “flirtations” with Reform UK.
Not to mention, he admitted to cheating on his wife weeks after they tied the knot. Thomas claimed it was a one-off. However, the other woman insisted it was a three-month affair.

Strictly star Thomas Skinner during first live show
Tonight (September 27), Thomas and Amy performed their first dance of the series, which was a pasodoble.
When it came down to the judges’ scores, Craig Revel Horwood gave a two and Motsi Mabuse a four. Meanwhile, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke both gave a five.
As a result, Thomas and Amy received a total score of 16 during the first week.

‘Get him out’
Following tonight’s live show, Strictly viewers made it clear that they weren’t fans of Thomas. In fact, some viewers insisted he should be voted off first.
“Shame there isn’t any eliminations this week,” one user wrote on X.
“Praying to God he is first out. That was bloody dreadful. Poor Amy,” another person shared.
“Get him OUT,” a third wrote.
“Oh Amy, I’m so sorry you deserve so much better than Thomas Skinner,” a fourth said.
Despite the backlash online, Thomas said he was “over the moon” after his performance.
This weekend, no contestant will face the public vote. However, next week, the lines will be open following everyone’s second performance next Saturday (October 4). On Sunday (October 5), one celebrity couple will leave the competition.
Fans of Strictly were divided tonight (September 27) after contestant Lewis Cope topped the leaderboard.
The former Emmerdale star, 30, is competing with partner Kayta Jones, 36. During their first dance of the series, the pair performed a jive to Get Ready by The Temptations.
The energetic performance proved Lewis had some serious moves, especially for week one. The actor was so impressive in fact, he received seven’s across the board from the judges and immediately went to the top of the leaderboard with a score of 28, which is a rare achievement so early on.

Strictly star Lewis Cope divides viewers
Outside of acting, Lewis has lots of performing experience. As a child, he starred in the West End production of Billy Elliot the Musical.
In 2013, he also became the runner-up on dance series Got to Dance.
Due to this, viewers felt it was “unfair” that Lewis was able to outshine other performers who had no experience.
“Lewis is too good. No surprise since he’s a trained dancer though,” one user wrote on X.
“Come on, this really is unfair?!” another person shared.
“I feel this chap may have an unfair advantage,” a third remarked.
“Yes, Lewis and Katya were brilliant, but again Lewis has got dance experience. Why do they have to keep doing this every year? I thought they’re supposed to be beginners, but he isn’t,” a fourth said.
“The only issue I have with contestants having previous dance experience is when they try to pretend otherwise. They talk about Lewis being Billy Elliot as a kid but don’t mention he was a finalist on Got To Dance,” a fifth observed.
Fans were divided over Lewis’ experience (Credit: BBC)
‘Think we’ve just seen the winner!’
Just like the judges, many Strictly viewers were incredibly impressed with Lewis’s first dance.
“7 is good for week 1. Lewis going in the right direction,” one person said.
“28 in week 1? Yeah Lewis is going FAR,” another insisted.
Strictly star Chris Robshaw has quelled concerns about the show’s infamous curse making him its latest victim.
The former England rugby captain, 39, is set to perform a samba with Nadiya Bychkova, 36, in tonight’s (Saturday, September 27) first live show of the series.

Chris Robshaw ‘not worried’ about Strictly curse
The ‘Strictly Curse’ has claimed many a victim over the year, including the likes of Katya Jones and Seann Walsh, Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton, and Rachel Riley and Pasha Kovalev.
However, Chris is confident he won’t be another one of its victims after being paired up with Ukrainian dancer Nadiya.
If people think there’s something going on between us, we must be doing something right.
Speaking to The Sun this week, Chris said: “I’m not worried about the Strictly Curse. If people think there’s something going on between us, we must be doing something right.
Chris on dancing with Nadiya
“It means we’ve managed to create a sense of chemistry for the show, and we are performing well,” he then continued.
“Nadiya and I are a team, both totally focused on the dancing and giving it our all. Plus, Camilla and I are solid; she’s incredibly supportive, and we have a lot of trust in our marriage. Family is everything to me,” he then added.
He added that he’s “hit the jackpot” being paired with Nadiya, as she’s a world champion dancer and “top athlete”.
Nadiya and Chris may be first to go out (Credit: BBC)
Chris tipped for early exit
However, unfortunately for Chris, his time on the show could be short and sweet. That’s according to former pro dancer Brendan Cole, who claimed Chris needs a more “jovial and silly” dancer than Nadiya, and they could be first out.
“Sadly, one of the weaker pairings could be Chris Robshaw with Nadiya Bychkova. He seems to have the right attitude going into the show – he looks like he genuinely wants to be there, which is lovely, because a lot of sportspeople don’t,” he said on behalf of Sky Vegas.
“But I worry it’s going to come across as a bit heavy and cumbersome, without a huge amount of television personality,” he then continued.
“I’m sure he’s not shy – I’ve met him a few times, and he’s a nice guy with good chat. But on this show, you need that extra spark, and I’m not convinced it will come across. On paper, he and Nadiya look great together – tall, blonde, a strong couple visually. But he needs someone like Dianne [Buswell], who could really bring out his personality,” he then said.
Brendan questions whether Nadiya is “the right match for him”, stating that he’s not criticising her at all. Instead, he believes Chris needs “someone a bit more jovial or silly”.
Ellie Goldstein is set to take Strictly Come Dancing by storm when the new series of the BBC show kicks off this weekend.
Model and actress Ellie, who was born with Down’s syndrome, will be joining 14 other celebrities and their professional partners in the ballroom.
The star is no stranger to the limelight, having modelled since she was 15. Here’s everything we know about the Strictly Come Dancing contestant paired with hunky Vito Coppola…

Strictly Come Dancing 2025: Who is Ellie Goldstein?
Ellie Goldstein was born in Ilford, London, on December 18, 2021, to parents Yvonne and Mark. This makes her 23 years old. She has a sister called Amy, who is eight years older than her. Ellie was born with Down syndrome – a genetic condition that affects around one in every 1,000 babies born in the UK.
Ellie had to have an operation at just five months old to close holes in her heart. Despite doctors telling Yvonne and Mark that their daughter Ellie would never be able to walk or talk, she has gone on to prove them wrong.
After attending a mainstream nursery, primary school, and secondary school, Ellie went to a local college to study performing arts before her seriously impressive career took off.
Model behaviour
Ellie joined the books of inclusive agency Zebedee Talent in 2016. By 15, she had appeared in a Christmas advert for high street giant Superdrug. Numerous modelling jobs soon followed, including one for sports brand Nike.
By 2020, at the age of 18, Ellie was thrust into the spotlight when she was chosen by designer Gucci as a model for the brand’s beauty campaign. After making history as the first person with Down syndrome to model for such a huge global company, Ellie began to land one high profile job after another.
Ellie now has campaigns for Adidas, Asos and Victoria’s Secret under belt. She is also an ambassador for the learning disability charity, Mencap.
Ellie Goldstein: Cover star
In April, 2023, Ellie was revealed as one of five cover stars for British Vogue. The issue of the glossy magazine focused on 19 disabled people from the worlds of fashion, sport and the arts.
She told BBC’s Newsround: “Vogue was like a dream come true. I didn’t know I was going to be on the cover and, when I was, I couldn’t believe it. When I look back at the picture, it’s only me and I love that!”
Ellie has now graced the covers of multiple magazines. In 2023, she also featured in Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day campaign.

Television career
Strictly Come Dancing is not Ellie’s first TV appearance. In April this year, she was a contestant on Channel 4′s The Great Celebrity Bake Off.
Ellie also made her acting debut in the CBBC drama series Malory Towers in July. She took on the role of Nancy in the adaptation of Enid Blyton’s books. Ellie’s character is passionate about history and also turns out to be an excellent lacrosse goalie.
When it was announced she had bagged the role, Ellie said: “I am so honoured to have been a part of the fantastic series Malory Towers. I’m beyond excited to see my episodes and share them with everyone. I absolutely love acting and feel so lucky to have worked with such a wonderful cast and crew.”
Ellie later appeared on ITV‘s Loose Women to discuss her part in the children’s show. She said: “It was long days and early starts. I love early starts, because we get to go there and have breakfast, but actually…it is early!”
The actress says her starring role in Malory Towers has prompted more people to stop her in the street and ask for her autograph.
Best-selling author
Ellie has written two books which were instant best-sellers. Her first book, an autobiography named Against All Odds, was published in September 2023. The book highlights the importance of family, and how community and support can carry people through the toughest of times. Against All Odds includes the perspective of both Ellie and her mother Yvonne, as they wrote it together.
Last year, Ellie’s self-titled children’s book, Ellie, was published. It is about inclusivity and growing up with Down syndrome. The empowering and uplifting picture book is designed to inspire young children to be free to become whoever they are.
Soon after the release of the book, Ellie told Yahoo: “I found it very relaxing to write and I wanted it to be an uplifting picture book that will inspire youngsters to embrace who they are. I hope the bright pictures and the story about me and my life encourages children to understand that everyone is different and that they should chase their dreams and never give up.”

Ellie Goldstein: The ambassador
Ellie is an ambassador for Mencap and works with the charity to challenge misconceptions about people with learning disabilities, In June, she became the face of Mencap’s charity shops during Learning Disability Week.
“It’s really exciting to see myself in the shop windows,” Ellie told her 86,000 Instagram followers at the time. “It means a lot to me to be part of Learning Disability Week and to show what people with a learning disability can achieve and follow their dreams.”
Ellie was also made an ambassador for Mattel in 2023 when the toy giant launched its first Barbie doll with Down syndrome. She said: “When I saw the doll I felt so emotional and proud. I’d have loved to have had a doll like me growing up. It means a lot to me that children will be able to play with that Barbie and learn that everyone is equal, even if they look different.
“To know that children can play with the doll and be aware we are all different is such a good thing. I grew up playing with Barbie dolls and remember giving them funny names, so to see a doll who looks like me was incredible.”
Ellie Goldstein on Strictly Come Dancing
Ellie said: “I’m absolutely over the moon to be joining the cast and pros of Strictly Come Dancing this year. It’s a show I’ve loved watching for so long, and the chance to now be part of it feels like a dream.
“I know it’s going to be challenging, but I’m ready to do it with the glitter and glamour and make some magic on that dancefloor. Let the Strictly journey begin.”

Ellie’s Strictly co-stars
Ellie will be competing against 14 other celebrities in the 2025 series of Strictly. They are Gladiator Nitro – real name Harry Aikines-Aryeete, ER and Doctor Who actress Alex Kingston and retired football Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal is taking part, along with social media influencer George Clarke, Drag Race UK’s La Voix, rugby legend Chris Robshaw, and footballer Karen Carney. Soap star Lewis Cope completes the line-up, having stepped in to replace Game of Thrones actor Kristian Nairn. He has pulled out on medical grounds.
Chris Robshaw suffered a major blow during his last TV appearance on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, so he’s hoping his Strictly Come Dancing journey is drama-free.
Joining 14 other star-studded household names, the Strictly contestant has his hopes set on the all-important Glitterball Trophy.
The rugby player has got a dazzling CV when it comes to sport, but can he throw some shapes on the dance floor? Here’s everything you need to know about Strictly Come Dancing hopeful, Chris Robshaw, including his career highlights and who he is married to.

Strictly Come Dancing: Who is Chris Robshaw? How old is he?
Chris Robshaw was born on June 4 1986, which makes him 39 years old. Chris is the middle child, with an older and younger brothers. But sadly, they all suffered a family tragedy in their childhood. At eight years old, Chris and his siblings were forced to cope with the death of their father, Alan. His dad died from a heart attack aged just 40.
Chris’ mother, Patricia, raised the boys alone. Prior to his dad’s death, Chris had started playing rugby. He played for Warlingham RFC in Surrey at the age of seven and attended Cumnor House School, a prep school in south Croydon. The budding sportsman later moved to Millfield Preparatory School and on to Millfield public school, both in Somerset, where he was first team captain for rugby.
Chris Robshaw’s professional rugby career
Chris launched his rugby career once he’d left school. He made his debut with Harlequins RFC in London. Chris stayed with the club for almost all of his professional career. He was also the only player to win the Aviva Premiership Player of the Year Award twice.
Chris was also selected to represent his country on the pitch. He played for England from January 2012 until December 2015. He earned 66 caps for England and captained the national team 43 times, leading them to a Six Nations Grand Slam victory in 2016.
In the last year of his professional career, Chris played for the San Diego Legion in the US for a season. His position of choice is in the back row of the scrum. This is usually called the flanker position and is a key part of any squad.
Is Chris Robshaw neurodivergent?
Chris is neurodivergent. He has dyslexia and struggled with it at school, according to his mother Patricia. But rugby gave him an escape from the tough times.
Patricia previously told the Telegraph: “After his father died, he needed something to put his exuberant energy into. He was finding it quite difficult at school. His dyslexia was becoming quite apparent then, and he needed to vent his frustration.”
Chris’ mum said he was “quite angry” as a child and found it “difficult” to express his feelings sometimes. She added: “He could go out and have a good old bash about on the rugby field quite legitimately.”

Is Chris Robshaw married? Who is his famous wife?
Chris Robshaw married soprano singer Camilla Kerslake in June 2018. They officially married on June 26 at Chelsea Old Town Hall in London. The couple then jetted to France for a lavish second wedding. Their reception was held at Le Preverger, a stunning chateau in Cote D’Azur.
Camilla is famed for her classical/ pop crossover songs. She was the first signing to Take That star Gary Barlow’s record label and released her debut self-titled album on November 23, 2009. Camilla’s song, How Can I Keep from Singing?, featured in a 2009 Waitrose Christmas advert.
Camilla also performed How Can I Keep From Singing? on ITV’s Popstar to Operastar as a guest performer, with Gary Barlow accompanying her on piano.
Does Chris Robshaw have children?
Chris and Camilla announced on February 8, 2021, they were expecting their first child. The couple welcomed their son, Wilding, that May. Last year, the couple revealed they were having a second child. Chris and Camilla welcomed son Hunter in August 2024.
It wasn’t the most straightforward birth and two ambulances and six paramedics were called for delivery. Camilla had planned a home birth, but her midwives got stuck in traffic.
Camilla told OK! magazine: “At one point things were getting intense.” She added: “It was amazing – dramatic in the middle – but a good story for when he’s older. And I’m even more grateful for the NHS than I was before.”
Chris Robshaw’s stalker ‘headache’
Ahead of taking part in Strictly Come Dancing, Chris and his wife Camilla have had a lot on their plate. He recently opened up about a “tough situation” and “ongoing headache” they have with an alleged stalker.
The case is still under investigation by the police, but Chris told The Sunday Times last week that he met the stalker at two work events in 2024. It has been alleged the woman has been spreading false rumours about Chris and Camilla.
Chris told the newspaper ahead of his Strictly debut: “This won’t define us and instead, we’ll be focusing on our family and the exciting journey. What should’ve been a time for celebrating our new baby was overshadowed as we were dealing with the horror of this.”
But he added: “Strictly has brought us some joy. It’s nice to hear the family laughing again, even if it is at my expense.”

What happened to Chris Robshaw on Celeb SAS: Who Dares Wins?
Strictly Come Dancing isn’t Chris’ first time on reality TV. Last year, he appeared on Channel 4’s Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins – and it came to a very dramatic end.
Chris suffered a painful medical emergency during filming in 2014 and was forced to withdraw from the programme immediately. He dislocated his shoulder during a boxing challenge with Love Island star, Ovie Soko.
Within 12 hours of the incident, Chris was put on a flight home. He has since had surgery to repair the damage.
Chris later said: “I’d popped my shoulder out the ligament was loose so it becomes like a catch which keeps opening. So they reattached the ligament to keep it in place. I tried to throw a punch and basically hyperextended my shoulder and it popped out.”
Let’s hope he doesn’t injure himself in the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom!

Life after retirement
Chris has now pivoted his life away from the sporting pitch after officially retiring from rugby in 2022. He said his body had “told him” it was finally time to hang up his boots.
Since retiring, he has turned to a white-collar career. Chris briefly worked part-time for Gallagher, a global insurance brokerage and risk management firm that specialises in sport. He was employed as the company’s business development executive.
Chris is the co-owner of an events company and is board member of wedding clothing company called Dress 2 Kill Ltd. He also works as a pundit for broadcasting firm, Premier Sports and co-owns a chain of coffee shops in Hampshire.
Chris is a board member and chair for the Kerslake Robshaw Foundation. The charity supports children from less privileged backgrounds to access sport and music.

Chris Robshaw on Strictly Come Dancing 2025
Chris’ spot in Strictly Come Dancing the line-up was announced on The Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 in August. The sportsman admits he’s nervous about his latest venture.
“This is about as far out of my comfort zone as it gets,” he has said. “I’m hoping to take my dad dancing to a whole new level, and my mum can’t wait to drag me along to her Zumba class.”
Hinting at a potential advantage in the ballroom, however, he added: “Let’s see if a rugby sidestep works in the Cha Cha Cha.”
Strictly viewers were left gutted for Neil Jones after the dancer was benched yet again last night (Saturday, September 20).
Despite this being his tenth series on Strictly, Neil has only had a celebrity partner three times.

Neil Jones left without a partner on Strictly…again
Last year, Neil received just his third partner on Strictly, despite having joined the show back in 2016.
The 43-year-old was paired up with Toyah Willcox; however, their stint on the show didn’t last long. They were eliminated in week three.
Prior to that, Neil had been partnered up with Nina Wadia in 2021. However, they were eliminated first that year.
In 2019, he reached the quarter-finals with Alex Scott.
However, the dancer will not be dancing with a celeb on this year’s series yet again, as revealed during yesterday’s launch show.
He’s not the only one without a celebrity partner this year. Luba Mushtuck, Gorka Marquez, Nancy Xu, and Michelle Tsiakkas are also benched for the 2025 series.
However, they will all be heavily involved each week, taking part in the group pro dances. There is always a possibility they’ll be involved in the Christmas Special later in the year. Neil has been involved in five Christmas specials since 2016.

Viewers send their support to Neil Jones
Some fans were gutted for Neil last night.
“So no Neil or Nancy [sad face],” one fan tweeted.
“Oh. I’ve just realised Neil doesn’t have a Celeb partner again. What a shame..,” another said.
“I am so disappointed that yet again, Neil doesn’t have a celebrity partner. He is such a great dancer and has a fantastic upbeat personality. I really thought that with this being his 10th year on Strictly, they would have given him a partner…he so deserves it,” a third wrote.
“It’s a shame you haven’t got a partner again!” another told Neil on Instagram.
“Gutted that you don’t have a partner! You and Alex Jones I still rewatch your dances to this day! You’re fab! Let’s hope you are a dancer for the Christmas Special?!” a fifth said.
“I am totally gutted you have no partner again this year. Why?” another asked.

There was a performance from popstar Jessie J and an emotional reunion between reigning champions Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell. Last year’s winners recreated their emotional Waltz to You’ll Never Walk Alone. The dance originally left fans in tears and later won them the television BAFTA for Memorable Moment.
But which celebrity is paired with which pro dancer this year, we hear you cry? Here is the full line-up of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing couples.

Strictly Come Dancing: The judges
It’s no surprise that the Strictly Come Dancing judges made a big entrance in the launch show. Shirley Ballas is back as Head Judge and she is sitting alongside Anton du Beke, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood.
Shirley has described Strictly Come Dancing’s 2025 couples as “the cast of all casts”. Before the launch show, she said: “That’s right, Strictly is well and truly back – and more iconic than ever. We’ve got the cast of all casts.”
Shirley added: “I get a front row seat to the best show on television, I mean who wouldn’t want that?”
Anton said he is “giddy with excitement”, while Motsi shared his enthusiasm. It is Craig’s 21st year on Strictly Come Dancing. He said: “People often ask if I ever get bored and I say no! Each year brings a completely new cast and that’s the beauty of Strictly.”

Tess said she was particularly looking forward to seeing the celebrities’ first group dance. Having hosted the show for 21 years, Tess can now spot the winners from the start.
Tess said: “The highlight of the launch show is watching that first group dance. It’s the very first time we see the celebrities step on the dance floor. From that moment, I’ve learnt to spot who has the potential to make it all the way through the competition.”
Claudia, meanwhile, lifted the lid on her backstage secrets. She added: “I must eat crisps and I always squeeze Tess before we go live. I get very, very nervous.” Who knew?!
Strictly Come Dancing’s next show
Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One next weekend, on Saturday September 27. This will be when the competition really gets underway. There will be a live show on Saturday night, followed by the Results show on Sunday September 28.
It will be the first time each of the Strictly 2025 couples will perform for the judges. Who will be out first? Who will make it all the way? Strap in, as the journey is beginning!
Strictly star Tess Daly offered an insight into her relationship with Claudia Winkleman with a hilarious confession in a new interview.
Tess is set to host her 23rd series of the hit BBC show, having been a part of the programme since its launch in 2004.

Strictly star Tess Daly on behind-the-scenes bond with Claudia Winkleman
In a new interview with the BBC ahead of the Strictly launch, Tess revealed that Claudia makes her “cry her mascara off” behind the scenes.
During the chat, Tess was asked what she’d learned from working alongside Claudia for so long.
Claudia has been a part of the Strictly family since its launch, fronting It Takes Two between 2004 and 2010, before co-hosting the results show between 2010 and 2013.
Since 2014, she has co-hosted the main show and results show alongside Tess.
“Claude and I have worked together for so many years now that we have watched each other’s children grow into young adults,” she said.
“Working with her is an absolute joy. What has she taught me? That I should never wear mascara to our script meetings because she has me laughing so much I end up crying it all off,” she then added.

Tess on Strictly ‘highlights’
When asked what she was most excited for with Strictly every year.
“I think the most exciting part of the entire series for me, bar the final, has to be meeting the new cast of celebrities. The highlight of the launch show is watching that first group dance; the very first time we see the celebrities step on the dance floor. From that moment, I’ve learnt to spot who has the potential to make it all the way through the competition,” she said.
Tess then went on to discuss a highlight from last year that still stays with her.
“A real highlight I will personally never forget was during last year’s series when Chris McCausland danced the waltz to You’ll Never Walk Alone. it was incredibly moving and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. You never forget how a performance made you feel and this one will always stay with me,” she said.

Tess on ‘key components’ of a winner
The Strictly host was then asked what components she thinks celebs need to win the Glitterball Trophy.
“This is a brilliant question and it’s quite a straightforward answer since, ultimately, a winner (and by the way it’s not just about lifting the trophy, there are always multiple winners each series!) – is someone who simply throws themselves into the show; the dancing, the hair, the makeup, the amazing costumes, the themed weeks-all of it,” she said.
“Ed Balls doing Gangnam Style is the perfect example of someone who did just that to brilliant effect. As did last year’s champion, Chris. I think when the audience sees someone who’s really embracing the competition and giving it their all; they tend to really get behind them,” she the added.
Strictly star Dianne Buswell has received backlash after revealing that she’ll take part in this year’s series while pregnant with her first baby.
Dianne and partner Joe Sugg announced that they’re expecting their first baby – a little boy – over the weekend.
However, talk in the comments section of the couple’s announcement soon turned to this year’s Strictly, and if Dianne would compete.
She fired back at comments with a defiant “why wouldn’t I?” and now a doctor has weighed in, telling critics that “healthy women can safely continue exercise with proper precautions, tailored intensity and medical monitoring”.
It’ll be the first time in the show’s history that a competitor on the show has taken part while pregnant.

Dianne Buswell does have a celebrity partner this year
The Aussie pro dancer won the series last year and she’s back to try and retain the Glitterball Trophy alongside her as-yet-unnamed celebrity partner. We’ll find out who Dianne is paired with on Saturday night (September 20), when the launch show airs.
And, despite backlash from some quarters, Dr Jack Ogden, a GP at The Lagom Clinic in Bristol, told ED! that Dianne’s participation in the series “isn’t unsafe”. However, he did warn that it’ll need “medical oversight, modified routines and careful monitoring” – all things we’re sure the Strictly team have in place for the reigning champ!

‘Pregnancy does not require giving up exercise’
Jack said: “Pregnancy does not require giving up exercise. In fact, the right kind of physical activity can improve outcomes for both mother and baby.
“While Dianne Buswell’s participation in Strictly during pregnancy isn’t inherently unsafe, it requires medical oversight, modified routines and careful monitoring.”
He also added: “NHS guidelines recommend at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity weekly during pregnancy, noting benefits such as reduced risk of gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia and excessive weight gain.”
Jack did say, however, that certain adaptations will be needed as Dianne progresses in her pregnancy. “Dance can be safe if adapted to avoid falls, overheating and abdominal trauma. However, competitive dance involves high-intensity routines,” he explained. “This heightens risks such as dehydration, joint strain and loss of balance, especially as pregnancy progresses.
“Critics may worry about fetal safety under physical stress. However, evidence indicates that healthy women can safely continue exercise with proper precautions, tailored intensity and medical monitoring.”
To get the best out of Strictly while pregnant, Dianne will need “personalised care, choreography adjustments and regular check-ins with healthcare providers”.
‘The key is moderation’
The GP also recommends staying hydrated and listening to her body and stop and rest if she feels unwell.
“With proper adjustments and medical guidance, competing while pregnant is not only safe but can also support physical and emotional wellbeing. The key is moderation, supervision and prioritising maternal and fetal health above performance,” he concluded.
For more information on exercising while pregnant, speak to your GP or midwife.
Strictly Come Dancing 2025 contestant Thomas Skinner has confessed that he previously cheated on his wife, and called it the “biggest mistake of his life”.
The social media star – who has made the headlines in recent weeks – is married to wife Sinead. The pair are parents to three children: a son Henry, five, and two-year-old twin daughters, Roma and Darla.
However, in a recent interview, Thomas revealed that just weeks after he tied the knot to Sinead, he cheated on her in what he called a “moment of madness”.

Strictly star Thomas Skinner’s ‘two-week affair’
Talking to The Sun, Thomas opened up about the “biggest mistake of my life” when he had a “two-week fling” with a beauty clinic owner behind his wife’s back.
I woke up feeling absolutely terrible
The fling happened shortly after Strictly star Thomas and Sinead got married in May 2022.
According to Thomas – who reportedly fought back the tears as he opened up about the affair – he encountered the woman at a pub. There, she offered him “cosmetic slimming treatments.”
Thomas ‘felt so guilty’
He told the publication: “I had a fling. It was nothing more than that. It was the one time, it was a mistake, I woke up feeling absolutely terrible about it.”
“I felt so guilty, I told my wife. I let her down in that brief moment of madness where I wasn’t thinking, where I didn’t appreciate what I had.”
It just shows something so brief could ruin your life
Thomas went on to note that he would have understood if Sinead didn’t want anything to do with him following his confession.
“When I told my wife, I fully understood if she was to never speak to me again. No one else made me do what I’ve done. But it just shows something so brief could ruin your life.”

Thomas on Strictly 2025
Thomas’ shock confession comes ahead of his Strictly Come Dancing debut later this month. However, the news of Thomas appearing on Strictly hasn’t gone down well with some people.
Fans have predicted the Essex social media personality could be voted out first due to his support for Donald Trump. And his conviction for handling stolen goods has also concerned fans.
He also made the headlines when he walked out of a Strictly press event – something he later “set the record straight” about.
Lewis Cope has been confirmed as Kristian Nairn’s replacement for the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The Emmerdale actor was announced as Strictly’s newest celebrity after Game of Thrones actor Kristian withdrew from the show on medical grounds.
His big reveal was unveiled during tonight’s episode of BBC’s The One Show. It came just hours after Kristian confirmed he had pulled out of the 2025 series.
Following the announcement, Lewis said: “I’m so excited to be swapping the Dales for the dance floor and joining this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. I’ve always been a fan of the show and cannot wait to get started!”

Strictly Come Dancing 2025: Who is Lewis Cope?
Lewis Cope is a British actor who trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He gained widespread recognition playing Nicky Milligan, the live‑in nanny in ITV’s long-running soap Emmerdale, a role he held from late 2022 into 2024.
For his role, he was nominated for the Rising Star Award at the 2023 National Television Awards, as well as Best Newcomer at the Inside Soap Awards.
Lewis’ other noteworthy roles include appearances in Vera and Doctors.
‘Never heard of him’
Following the quick announcement, fans of Strictly were left divided.
Some were relieved with the news, with one user sharing: “Amazing. He will be brilliant.”
Another echoed: “Lewis Cope joining #Strictly – another Emmerdale replacement! That’s mad and HUGE for him. So pleased for him.”
Meanwhile, some were less than impressed.
“Nope never heard of him,” one shared.
“#Strictly have replaced one person nobody’s ever heard of with another person nobody’s ever heard of,” another said.
“Who?” a third questioned.
Kristian’s Strictly exit
Just last week, Kristian Nairn was one of the final two celebrities to be announced for Strictly Come Dancing 2025. He described it as an “honour”.
The actor, from Northern Ireland, is best known for playing Hodor in Game of Thrones. He portrayed the part for six seasons of the hugely successful TV show.
Kristian also portrayed Wee John Feeney on the HBO Max series Our Flag Means Death, and he is a professional music DJ. He was previously the resident DJ of Kremlin, a gay club in Belfast.

But confirming his withdrawal on Thursday afternoon, Kristian said: “With a heavy heart, I have to step back from this season of Strictly Come Dancing due to unexpected medical reasons.
“I was truly looking forward to the journey, and I’m deeply sorry to disappoint anyone who was looking forward to seeing me on the dance floor. Thank you all for your support, and I will be back on my feet very soon, in every sense. Love to all, Kristian.”
Confirming his withdrawal, Sarah James, Executive Producer for BBC Studios, said: “We’ve absolutely loved getting to know Kristian in this short time, and he has all the makings of a brilliant Strictly Come Dancing contestant.
“We’re incredibly sorry to lose him from this year’s series and we all wish him a speedy recovery.”
The full celebrity line-up
Last week, the BBC confirmed 15 celebrities for Strictly Come Dancing 2025. The final three names were announced on Friday morning, including Kristian’s.
Gladiator Nitro – real name Harry Aikines-Aryeete – was the first celebrity to be announced for Strictly 2025. The professional athlete was followed by ER and Doctor Who actress Alex Kingston, Love Islander Dani Dyer and retired football Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
EastEnders’ Balvinder Sopal was next to be confirmed for the 2025 series. Balvinder joins social media influencer George Clarke. Drag Race UK’s La Voix and rugby legend Chris Robshaw were also announced. The BBC then confirmed model and actress Ellie Goldstein for the line-up.
On Thursday, Apprentice star Thomas Skinner was confirmed for Strictly during the Breakfast Show on Hits Radio. Reality star Vicky Pattison was then unveiled during ITV’s This Morning, before Neighbours legend Stefan Dennis also made his appearance on the show to confirm his signing.
TV showbiz journalist Ross King was revealed during Friday’s episode of ITV’s Lorraine. Footballer Karen Carney and Kristian’s announcements followed very quickly after on Radio 2. They had completed the line-up.
The infamous ‘Strictly curse’ could be preventing the world from witnessing Richard Osman as a Strictly Come Dancing contestant.
Author Richard, 54, has clarified that while he is often linked with a spot on Strictly Come Dancing, he doesn’t see it ever happening.
And while Richard offered a few reason why fans are unlikely to see him on the BBC One dance floor, it seems the ‘Strictly curse’ is also in his thinking.
Richard Osman brought up the ‘Strictly curse’ on his podcast (Credit: YouTube)
Will Richard Osman ever appear on Strictly?
Pointless Celebrities presenter Richard was discussing the controversy concerning Thomas Skinner’s involvement in the 2025 series on his The Rest Is Entertainment podcast when casting him on the show was brought up as a possibility.
Despite being a favourite in the press when predictions pop up about which famous faces could take part, Richard seemed to rule out ever signing up.
He told podcast co-host Marina Hyde: “I would never do Strictly anyway.”
One reason for not putting on his dancing shoes is, the 6 ft 7 in reckons, he is too tall.

Strictly ‘curse’ mention
Richard also insisted he is probably too busy to get into Strictly shape in order to tackle the various dance styles.
However, the House of Games host went on to make light of the numerous relationships that have emerged between stars on the long-running series, too.
I always say I never have time to do all the training and have the affair!
Richard quipped: “I always say I never have time to do all the training and have the affair!”
What is the ‘Strictly curse’?
The Strictly ‘curse’ has become an infamous part of the lore associated with the BBC competition.
Every year when Strictly comes around, speculation is rife among fans about which of the stars taking part might either get together with a dance pro, or potentially endure relationship struggles with a real-life partner. It was dubbed the ‘curse’ following several high profile break-ups.
The ‘curse’ has roots stretching back to the first series of Strictly in 2004. But it has struck several times over the years, sometimes with consequences for the show. However, judge Craig Revel Horwood has previously offered a different ake on the ‘curse’.
He said during a 2020 interview: “People call it the Strictly ‘curse’. But I always think of it as ‘the Strictly blessing’. People have fallen in love, had children, got married.
“They might have been in rotten relationships with people they didn’t even like and didn’t know until they met someone else. People don’t fall off the wagon if they’re already in love. I think it’s great. It’s better than meeting online – at least you know what they look like, and you know how they dance.”
Pro dancers Kai and Nadiya shocked fans last June when they decided to call time on their relationship. The pair met on the glitzy BBC show and romance blossomed behind the scenes for Nadiya and Kai in 2022.
However, following their shock split last year, it was claimed in April that Kai was dating someone new. And now, Nadiya has definitely declared that she is “in love”…
On Tuesday (August 19), Nadiya got herself all dressed up to attend the premiere of a new comedy-drama movie, Caught Stealing.
Looking sensational, the mum-of-one slipped into a strapless silver gown that oozed style.
For the A-list event, Nadiya wore her famous blonde locks in a slicked-back style and finished off her look with a swipe of bold red lipstick.
The dancer shared a photo of her outfit on Instagram, and as expected, fans went wild over her red carpet look, with one person writing: “Omg you look amazing.” Another agreed: “Absolutely gorgeous.” A third also gushed: “Elegant and gorgeous.”
She revealed she was ‘in love’ (Credit: InstagramStory)
Nadiya’s ‘love confession’
And it turns out Strictly star Nadiya was also “in love” with the fancy frock.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Nadiya shared a video of her in the car on the way to the premiere. She captioned the video: “I’m in love with this dress @theatelierlondon.
“Love being back to London a On my way to #CaughtStealingMovie € caughtstealingmovie @sonypicturesuk @concordemedialondon.”

Why did Kai and Nadia split?
Nadiya and Kai reportedly split owing to their respective schedules. The Mirror claimed they “drifted apart due to the pressures of touring together and frequently being in each other’s space”.
In October last year, Nadiya opened up about her split from Kai – revealing they are “not friends”.
“We work together but we are not friends and that’s OK,” she told the Mirror.
Nadiya added: “One thing I can tell you is that when you see me dancing with him, it will be amazing because I’m a professional.”
