  • Detroit Tigers Get Bad News Regarding Troy Melton

    [ad_1]

The Detroit Tigers received discouraging news on right-handed pitcher Troy Melton, whose spring training setback is now more serious than initially believed.

According to Tigers beat writer Chris McCosky, Melton was diagnosed with an elbow strain, saw a doctor, and has been recommended extended rest. As things stand, Melton is unlikely to be ready for the start of the 2026 season.

That update represents a notable escalation from earlier reports, when the Tigers characterized Melton’s issue as general arm soreness and emphasized a conservative approach during spring training.

    A setback after a strong 2025 season

The timing is unfortunate for Melton, who emerged as a valuable arm for Detroit last season. In 2025, the 25-year-old posted a 2.76 ERA across 45⅔ innings, striking out 36 batters while walking 15 in 16 appearances, including four starts.

Those numbers positioned Melton as a legitimate depth option entering 2026, with the potential to contribute either in a multi-inning relief role or as a spot starter if needed.

Tigers shifting focus to long-term health

Manager A.J. Hinch previously made it clear the Tigers would not push Melton through discomfort, and the latest update reinforces that stance. With an elbow strain now confirmed, Detroit appears committed to prioritizing recovery over timelines.

While the club has not announced a formal injured list designation or return date, the expectation is that Melton’s workload will be delayed into the regular season, at minimum.

What it means for Detroit’s pitching depth

Melton’s absence puts additional pressure on the Tigers’ pitching depth early in the year, particularly as the team carefully manages other arms during spring training. Detroit has leaned heavily on organizational depth in recent seasons, and losing Melton, even temporarily, removes a reliable option from that mix.

For now, the focus remains on rest, recovery, and reassessment, with the hope that Melton can return later in the season and build on the progress he showed in 2025.

  • I Thank You Friday- Dennis Hoffman

    [ad_1]

Ortonville VFW Post 582 Commander Dennis Hoffman

Hello to all of our veterans and 94.7 WCSX Classic Rock listeners. Friday is upon us and for this week, our I Thank You shout out goes to US Army Veteran and VFW Post 582 Commander Dennis Hoffman.

Some veterans have the opportunity to share their stories in their own words. For others though, their stories come from those who know them best or for this week’s “I Thank You Friday”, from a neighbor who recognizes the dedication and patriotism of one individual whose service to community and country is admirable.

Dennis Hoffman was nominated by a community neighbor who goes by Nick, who had this to say about his friend and the recognition for the hard work Dennis has done for his fellow man.

Nick: “Good Morning 94.7 WCSX, I wanna give a shout out to in my opinion one of the hardest working veterans you’ll find here in Ortonville. His name is Dennis Hoffman, and he is the Post Commander of our tiny community, VFW Post 582. Mr. Hoffman has been commanding the VFW for over 10 years and in that time has made our town a better place thanks to his assistance in programs such as the Honor Guard Rifle Team, and outreach programs with our local teachers and our local cub scout troop. Mr. Hoffman continues to represent and serve our country and community with a smile and a sense of duty. KEEP PLAYING THE BOB SEGER WCSX, your station is #1!”

    The Man Behind the Uniform

Dennis Hoffman’s service to his country began in 1968 with his draft notice to the United States Army. As detailed in this letter from a State of Michigan House Committee Testimony, US Army Veteran Dennis Hoffman has served honorably for the Stars & Stripes and faced challenges that only few can relate to.

A small sample of it reads: “Commander Hoffman was drafted to the army in June 1968 following Boot Camp at Fort Bragg North Carolina and advanced infantry training at Fort Polk Louisiana. The USS Pueblo was seized by the North Koreans and international waters on January 23, 1968 in the crew held hostage. Due to this new conflict his battalion in October was split in half some going to Vietnam and some including Commander Hoffman sent to the DMZ (Korean demilitarized zone).

“I was disappointed says Hoffman, I was trained for jungle warfare, and I wanted to fight. I didn’t fight the draft. I just felt it was part of my duty as a US citizen.” He patrolled the DMZ for 13 months and dealt with conflicts as people tried to sneak through the fence. There was a mile to the military demarcation line, and it was filled with bunkers and foxholes, allowing Hoffman and his battalion to patrol the area. He left the army after his two-year draft period was complete.

When the Ortonville VFW post was charted in 1984 he joined and continues to give to the 16 programs supported by the VFW. Those of which include, Honor Guard-Rifle Team, Voice of Democracy Essay contest, Oakland County Campout, Poppy Program, VFW national home for children in Eaton Rapids, and local food banks. The list goes on… Thank you, Commander Hoffman for all you and your fellow VFW members do for the community.”

  • NFLPA Grades Reveal How Players Really Feel About the Detroit Lions

    [ad_1]

So much for keeping it quiet.

The Detroit Lions’ 2025 NFLPA report card has officially made its way into the public eye, despite the league originally intending for the results of the annual player survey to remain private. While the NFL won a ruling allowing the grades to stay confidential, many around the league figured it was only a matter of time before the information surfaced.

Sure enough, here we are, and from a Lions perspective, there’s plenty to like.

Detroit finished 9th overall in the league, landing firmly in the upper tier when it comes to how players view their workplace. The grades paint a picture of a franchise that has come a long way in facilities, leadership, and overall player support.

A Snapshot of How Players Feel About the Lions

The NFLPA survey is completed anonymously by players and covers everything from locker rooms and weight facilities to coaching, ownership, and travel. It’s one of the few true looks at how players feel when they walk into the building every day.

For Detroit, the results reinforce what fans have seen during the Dan Campbell era: a team that prioritizes culture, accountability, and investment in its people.

Below is the complete and accurate breakdown of the Lions’ grades from the 2025 report card.

Detroit Lions 2025 NFLPA Report Card Grades

    Category Grade
    Treatment of Families B+
    Home Game Field B-
    Food / Dining Area B
    Nutritionist / Dietician A-
    Locker Room A
    Training Room A-
    Training Staff B+
    Weight Room A
    Strength Coaches A
    Position Coaches A-
    Offensive Coordinator C-
    Defensive Coordinator B
    Special Teams Coordinator A
    Team Travel B
    Head Coach A
    General Manager A-
    Team Ownership A

    What Stands Out Most

A few things jump off the page right away.

First, Dan Campbell’s A grade as head coach feels spot-on. His connection with players has been well-documented, and the locker room buy-in is real. Brad Holmes also continues to earn strong marks, with an A- from players, reinforcing Detroit’s trust in the front office.

Facilities-wise, Detroit shines. The locker room, weight room, strength staff, and nutrition program all earned A-level grades, showing clear organizational investment in player health and performance.

The lowest mark? The C- grade for offensive coordinator. That’s easily the lowest mark on the report and stands out sharply compared to the rest of the coaching staff. This is not surprising, as OC John Morton really struggled before having the play-calling duties taken from him.

    The Big Picture

Overall, this report card confirms what many around the league already believe: Detroit is no longer a bottom-tier destination. Ranking ninth overall is a significant achievement and places the Lions among franchises that players genuinely enjoy playing for.

Culture matters. Facilities matter. Trust matters. And in 2025, the Lions are clearly checking most of those boxes.

  • Court Order Mentions Lions CB Terrion Arnold in Florida Robbery/Kidnapping Case

    [ad_1]

A newly released court order in Florida has tied Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold to a criminal investigation involving alleged robberies and a subsequent kidnapping incident, though the Lions defender has not been charged or arrested.

According to a seven-page order from Hillsborough County Circuit Judge J. Logan Murphy, Arnold is connected to the case as an alleged victim of multiple robberies, not as a suspect. The order was issued as part of the state’s request for pretrial detention of Boakai Hilton, one of several defendants accused of orchestrating violent retaliation following thefts from an Airbnb.

    What the Court Order Says

As first reported by The Detroit News, the court document outlines a series of events that began after an Airbnb rental where Arnold was staying was reportedly robbed on two separate occasions.

In a police report filed with the Largo Police Department on Feb. 3, Arnold reported the theft of:

    • Firearms
    • High-end bags and jewelry
    • A cellphone
    • Approximately $100,000 in cash

The court order states that the alleged kidnapping and armed robbery that followed were directly connected to efforts by Arnold and others to recover the stolen property.

According to Judge Murphy’s order, the defendants believed that individuals connected to Arnold’s private driver, Yan Lopez, were responsible for the thefts. Arnold allegedly suspected Lopez and another individual, Daniel Tenesacca, of being involved.

    Alleged Retaliation Plot

The court document alleges that a plan was devised to lure Lopez and Tenesacca back to the Airbnb under false pretenses.

The order names Adrianna Del Valle, described in the document as Arnold’s girlfriend, and Jasmine Randazzo as participants in the alleged scheme. The judge wrote that Del Valle promised Randazzo compensation from Arnold in exchange for helping lure the suspected individuals back to the rental property.

Once Lopez, Tenesacca, and Soljah Anderson arrived at the location, the court order alleges they were assaulted by defendants Lyndell Hudson and Christion Williams.

Judge Murphy detailed the severity of the alleged attack in the order:

“There, one of the defendants stuck the barrel of his firearm into Lopez’s mouth, demanding he return the stolen property and Arnold’s phone. Before the victims left, the co-defendants took their phones and wallets.”

The order states the alleged violence was intended to force admissions related to the Airbnb thefts—admissions the victims never made.

    Arnold Not Charged

Importantly, the court filing does not accuse Arnold of committing any crimes. He is described as a robbery victim and is alleged to have been present during a car ride where the kidnapping was discussed, but he has not been arrested or charged.

To date, five individuals have been arrested in connection with the case.

    What This Means Going Forward

At this stage, Arnold’s name appears in court documents solely as part of the broader factual narrative surrounding the alleged crimes. Any further legal exposure would depend on future findings, and no such action has been taken against the Lions cornerback.

The Lions have not publicly commented on the situation as of publication.

  • Tommy Aldridge Reflects on Storied Career and Pays Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne

    [ad_1]

On Feb. 23, drummer Tommy Aldridge explained that he didn’t appear at Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s Back to the Beginning concert at Villa Park in July 2025. The 75-year-old musician didn’t get an invitation. “I wasn’t invited to be at Ozzy’s last show,” said Aldridge, according to Planet Rock. “That’s as much as I need to say. I wasn’t invited, and I’m not gonna crash someone else’s party.”

Aldridge joined Black Sabbath in 1981. He played on the third solo album, Bark at the Moon, which came out in 1983, and appeared on Speak of the Devil and Tribute before leaving.

“I will say that has no reflection on Ozzy,” said Aldridge. “I have so much admiration and love for Ozzy. Ozzy was someone I spent a lot of time with, and it was by no means any disrespect intended on my part.”

The drummer talked about why he joined 45 years ago. “What motivated me to start with Ozzy was a gentleman by the name of Randy Rhoads and being able to go on stage with that gentleman every night and be in close proximity to his guitar playing,” said Aldridge. “That was my motivation in working with Ozzy.”

Rhoads passed away after a plane crash in 1982. Aldridge described those years as inspiring and crushing. “Working with Randy was indescribably inspirational and devastatingly depressing at the same time with his loss,” he added. The full 35-minute interview will premiere later this year on AldridgeWorld.com, the drummer’s official website.

The musician has played with Gary Moore, Whitesnake, Motörhead, Thin Lizzy, Vinnie Moore, Yngwie Malmsteen, Black Oak Arkansas, and Pat Travers Band. He joined Whitesnake in 1987, recording six albums with the group before they retired in November 2025. He’s also part of Iconic, the supergroup with Michael Sweet, Joel Hoekstra, Marco Mendoza, and Nathan James. A second album from the group is scheduled for summer 2026. At 75, Aldridge has no plans to retire.

  • NFL Insiders Include Lions TE Sam LaPorta as Potential Trade Candidate

    [ad_1]

The idea of the Detroit Lions trading Sam LaPorta sounds borderline absurd, but that didn’t stop ESPN insiders Dan Graziano and Ben Solak from including him on their list of the Top 15 trade candidates for the 2026 NFL offseason.

LaPorta was ranked No. 8 overall on the list and, notably, was the only tight end mentioned. While even the insiders themselves admit a deal is unlikely, LaPorta’s inclusion alone is enough to raise eyebrows across the league.

Why LaPorta Came Up at All

According to Graziano, the speculation isn’t really about LaPorta’s talent; it’s about timing and money.

The Lions are staring down potential extensions for four cornerstone players from the 2023 draft class: LaPorta, Jahmyr Gibbs, Jack Campbell, and Brian Branch. Around the league, there’s quiet curiosity about whether Detroit can realistically get all four deals done.

That financial puzzle is what landed LaPorta on the list, even if Detroit’s intentions remain crystal clear.

Graziano was quick to downplay the likelihood of a move, noting that Detroit still views itself firmly in a win-now window, which makes moving an elite young tight end highly improbable.

    The Performance Context

Solak’s analysis focused more on recent production and long-term projection.

LaPorta dealt with back surgery last season, finishing with 489 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Those numbers were a noticeable dip from his historic rookie campaign in 2023, when he exploded for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns and immediately established himself as one of the league’s most dangerous tight ends.

Even with the step back statistically, Solak emphasized that LaPorta remains one of the most dynamic young pass-catching tight ends in football. From a league-wide perspective, a team in need of a high-volume receiving tight end could theoretically see value in trading now rather than risking a massive bidding war if LaPorta were to hit free agency in 2027 and return to peak form.

    The Reality in Detroit

Let’s be honest: there is almost no scenario where the Lions seriously entertain trading Sam LaPorta.

He’s a foundational piece of the offense, a perfect fit with Jared Goff, and a matchup nightmare in Ben Johnson’s system. Detroit isn’t rebuilding, retooling, or pinching pennies, they’re chasing Super Bowls.

Even ESPN’s own projection reflects that reality.

    • Predicted chance of trade: 10%
    • Potential team fits: Chiefs, Ravens, Texans

Those fits make sense in a vacuum, but not in the context of Detroit’s current trajectory.

    Bottom Line

Is Sam LaPorta getting traded? Almost certainly not.

But the fact that league insiders even floated the idea says a lot about how highly he’s valued across the NFL. When a player is young, productive, and under team control, and still draws trade buzz, it’s usually a compliment, not a warning sign.

Detroit knows exactly what it has in LaPorta. And barring something shocking, he’ll remain a central figure in the Lions’ offense for years to come.

  • U2 Unveil Short Documentary for ‘Days of Ash’ Song ‘Yours Eternally’

    [ad_1]

Longstanding rock band U2 have unleashed a documentary short for their new track “Yours Eternally,” which appears on their surprise EP, Days of Ash. What makes this song extra special is that it features Ed Sheeran and Ukrainian musician and soldier Taras Topolia.

The video, directed by Ukrainian cinematographer and filmmaker Ilya Mikhaylus, arrived on the fourth anniversary of the Russia and Ukraine conflict. So, in keeping up with U2 tradition, it’s a political clip and message.

U2 also say the video is part of a full documentary that will arrive at the end of 2026.

U2 released their new EP, Days of Ash, on Feb. 18, featuring five songs and one poem. The band called it “an immediate response to current events and inspired by the many extraordinary and courageous people fighting on the frontlines of freedom.”

U2 Keep Making Statements With New EP

U2 aren’t just a band. They’re the kind of thing that sneaks into your life whether you’re ready or not. You can catch them on the radio, in a bar, on a festival lineup and somewhere in the middle of it all there’s this pulse you didn’t know you needed. Bono’s voice cracks and soars in the same breath, Edge’s guitar keeps circling back like it knows more than you do and Larry and Adam hold it all steady without ever announcing themselves.

Sure, they’ve had hits so ubiquitous it’s easy to roll your eyes. But strip it down to the way a single note hangs in the air, or a lyric hits harder than it should, and it’s still remarkable. That’s why they feel legendary, not because of sales numbers or awards, though they’ve got plenty, but because they’ve earned the right to make the world wait in its seats while they figure out what comes next.

It’s really special that this band continues to churn out new music and create their anthemic songs. There aren’t many bands with that kind of longevity. What do you think of U2’s new EP? Reach out to the station and let them know.

  • Lyft driver charged with murder after fatal Detroit crash that killed out-of-town couple

    [ad_1]

A Lyft driver was charged with second-degree murder and other counts Wednesday after prosecutors say he lost control of his speeding car and crashed into a building in Detroit, killing two out-of-state visitors.

On Sunday, Detroit police were dispatched to a warehouse on the 6000 block of Rosa Parks Boulevard just after 10:15 a.m. for what was initially reported as a single-vehicle crash, the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office said. When officers arrived, they found a sport-utility vehicle driven by 40-year-old Theopris Mays of Herndon, Virginia., crashed upright into a loading dock, with both victims trapped and unresponsive.

Paramedics pronounced Andre Boynton, 60, and Carla Boynton, 57, both of Durham, N.C., dead at the scene.

Theopris Mays, 40, of Virginia was charged with second-degree murder following a Lyft crash that killed two people in Detroit. Credit: Detroit Police Department

Prosecutors allege Mays was driving “recklessly at a high rate of speed” when he lost control and slammed into the building, killing the Boyntons, who were passengers at the time. After the crash, investigators say Mays fled on foot but was arrested shortly after by Detroit police.

Mays has since been charged with two counts of second-degree murder, reckless driving causing death and leaving the scene of an at-fault accident causing death. If convicted, he faces up to life in prison.

Mays was arraigned Wednesday in 36th District Court, where a judge set a $500,000 cash or surety bond. A bond redetermination hearing is scheduled for Friday, and a probable cause conference is set for March 5.

While fatal crashes involving ride-hail drivers are rare, this case follows other troubling incidents involving Lyft and Uber drivers in Michigan.

In Lansing earlier in January, two 15-year-olds were charged in connection with a shooting that left a Lyft driver seriously injured.

Last year, police investigated an incident in Barry County where a 14-year-old girl was allegedly transported by an Uber to a home in Northville Township, where she was reportedly sexually assaulted. In 2023, a 74-year-old Uber driver was carjacked in Birmingham, and his vehicle was stolen before the suspect crashed and was arrested.

  • How to Navigate Detroit Without a Car: The Carless Detroiter’s Manifesto

    [ad_1]

For a century, Detroit has been defined by the automobile. Our geography was carved out by Henry Ford’s assembly lines and the sprawling Woodward Avenue. But in 2026, a quiet revolution is happening on our streets.

From the expansion of the “Dart” universal payment system to the rise of protected bike lanes on Jefferson Avenue, it is now more feasible than ever to live, work, and play in Detroit without owning a vehicle.

Whether you’re a Midtown resident dodging $200/month insurance or a visitor wanting to see the murals of Eastern Market, this is your blueprint for car-free mobility.

    Strategic Neighborhood Guides (Car-Free Living)

    Neighborhood Transit Score Primary Mode
Midtown High QLine, MoGo, #4 Bus
    Downtown Excellent Walking, People Mover
Corktown Moderate #2 Michigan Bus, MoGo
West Village Moderate #9 Jefferson Bus, Walking

    1. The “Big Three” Rail and Rapid Transit

To navigate neighborhoods in Detroit, you first need to understand the “Woodward Spine.” Most of the city’s high-frequency transit follows the major spoke roads.

    The QLine: The Woodward Workhorse

Running along Woodward Avenue from Downtown to New Center, the QLine serves as a short but strategic streetcar route through the city’s cultural core. While limited in length, it connects several of Detroit’s most visited destinations in a single, easy ride.

The line links Downtown offices and hotels with Midtown institutions such as the Detroit Institute of Arts, the College for Creative Studies, Little Caesars Arena, and the Fox Theatre. It is especially useful for visitors and occasional riders who want a straightforward way to move between major attractions without navigating transfers.

The QLine functions best as a circulator rather than a full transit solution. Riders often pair it with DDOT buses for longer trips north or east. Its consistent stops and clear stations make it approachable for newcomers, and its frequent service keeps wait times manageable during peak hours and major events.

    • Best For: Connecting the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA), Little Caesars Arena, and the nightlife of Midtown.
    • Pro Tip: In 2026, the QLine remains a free or low-cost “circulator.” It is best used in tandem with the DDOT buses for longer trips.

The Detroit People Mover: The Sky-High Loop

The Detroit People Mover is an elevated automated loop that circles the downtown core, offering a unique view of the city while providing practical transportation. Its stations serve key downtown landmarks, including the Renaissance Center, Greektown, Grand Circus Park, and the stadium district.

The People Mover excels during winter months and large events, allowing riders to move efficiently without walking long distances in cold or crowded conditions. Because it operates as a loop, riders can hop on and off easily to reach offices, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

Recent system upgrades have improved reliability, station accessibility, and rider experience. As a free downtown shuttle, it has become one of the simplest ways to navigate the central business district, particularly for those unfamiliar with the street grid.

    • Best For: Cold winter days when you need to get from the Renaissance Center to Greektown or Grand Circus Park without hitting the pavement.
    • Status Update: Recently modernized, the People Mover is now free for all riders in 2026, making it the ultimate downtown shuttle.

    FAST (Frequent, Affordable, Safe Transit)

FAST buses are limited-stop routes operated by SMART that function like light rail on wheels. They are designed for longer-distance travel along major corridors, reducing commute times while maintaining affordability.

The most heavily used routes include FAST Woodward, FAST Gratiot, and FAST Michigan. These lines connect Downtown Detroit to surrounding suburbs such as Royal Oak, Dearborn, and communities along Gratiot Avenue. Stops are spaced at major intersections, allowing buses to maintain higher speeds than local routes.

FAST buses are especially valuable for commuters traveling between the city and suburbs. By minimizing stops and using dedicated boarding platforms in some areas, they offer a faster and more predictable alternative to traditional bus service.

    • Key Routes: FAST Woodward (461/462), FAST Gratiot (561), and FAST Michigan (261).
    • Efficiency: They only stop at major intersections, cutting travel time to the suburbs (Royal Oak, Dearborn) by 30%.

    2. Buses: The Lifeblood of the Neighborhoods

While rail systems draw attention, buses remain the foundation of Detroit’s public transportation. Understanding the two primary operators is key to moving efficiently around the region.

    DDOT (Detroit Department of Transportation)

The Detroit Department of Transportation operates routes within city limits. Its network reaches nearly every neighborhood and provides essential services for residents, workers, and visitors alike.

Major routes such as Woodward and Jefferson operate around the clock, making DDOT the most reliable option for late-night and early morning travel. Frequency is strongest along main corridors, with buses arriving regularly throughout the day.

Real-time tracking is best accessed through the Transit App, which provides accurate arrival estimates, service alerts, and route planning across multiple systems.

    • Coverage: Internal city limits.
    • Frequency: Major routes like #4 (Woodward) and #9 (Jefferson) run 24/7.
    • The App: Use the Transit App. It is the “Gold Standard” in Detroit for real-time tracking.

    SMART (Suburban Mobility Authority)

SMART buses extend transit service beyond the city into suburban areas. These routes are essential for commuters traveling across municipal boundaries and for city residents accessing jobs and services outside Detroit.

Both DDOT and SMART accept the same mobile fare system, allowing riders to purchase time-based passes and use them interchangeably. This unified payment structure has simplified transfers and made regional travel more seamless.

    • Coverage: Connects the city to the 8-Mile border and into the suburbs.
    • The Connection: All DDOT and SMART buses now use the Dart Pass. You can buy a 4-hour, 24-hour, or 7-day pass on your phone and scan it on either system.

    3. The “Last Mile”: Micro-mobility and Biking

The biggest hurdle in Detroit transit isn’t the bus—it’s the half-mile between the bus stop and your front door.

    MoGo: Detroit’s Bike Share

MoGo operates a large network of bike share stations throughout the city, making short trips faster and more flexible. Riders can choose between single rides, monthly memberships, or annual passes depending on their needs.

MoGo also offers adaptive bikes, including tricycles and hand cycles, expanding access for riders with different mobility needs. These options make biking a realistic choice for more people across the city.

    • Pricing: Pay-as-you-go or monthly passes.
    • Inclusion: Look for Adaptive MoGo, which offers tricycles and hand-cycles for riders of all abilities.

    The Greenway Network

Detroit has invested heavily in bike infrastructure, creating safe and scenic routes that double as transportation corridors.

The Dequindre Cut provides a protected path connecting the Riverwalk to Eastern Market and the surrounding neighborhoods. The Joe Louis Greenway is an expanding loop that will eventually encircle the city, linking parks, neighborhoods, and business districts through dedicated trails.

    • The Dequindre Cut: A sub-surface rail-to-trail link from the Riverwalk to Eastern Market.
    • Joe Louis Greenway: A massive project currently encircling the city with protected paths.

    4. Airport to City: The DAX & FAST Michigan

Getting from Detroit Metro Airport to the city no longer requires an expensive rideshare.

The Detroit Air Xpress offers nonstop motorcoach service between the airport and Downtown. It provides luggage space, Wi Fi, and a predictable travel time at a fraction of the cost of private transportation.

For budget-conscious travelers, the FAST Michigan route offers a lower-cost option. While it includes additional stops and takes longer, it connects the airport corridor to the city using standard bus fare, making it the most affordable way to reach Detroit by public transit.

    • Detroit Air Xpress (DAX): A non-stop motorcoach from Detroit Metro Airport to Downtown (Washington Blvd). It’s fast, has Wi-Fi, and costs less than $10.
    • FAST Michigan (Route 261): The budget option. It takes longer but costs only $2.00.

Car Ownership vs Public Transit: The Financial Breakdown

One of the most common questions from newcomers is whether living in Detroit without a car is financially worthwhile. The answer depends on lifestyle, but the numbers are increasingly clear.

Owning a car in Detroit comes with high fixed costs. Insurance rates are among the highest in the country, and monthly expenses quickly add up once parking, fuel, maintenance, registration, and repairs are factored in. For many residents, these costs exceed several hundred dollars a month even before unexpected issues arise.

Public transit offers a far lower baseline. With unified fares across DDOT and SMART, riders can rely on daily, weekly, or monthly passes at a fraction of the cost of ownership. When combined with biking, walking, and occasional rideshare use, many residents find that a car-free or car-light lifestyle frees up significant income for housing, food, and leisure.

For those living along major corridors such as Woodward, Jefferson, or Michigan Avenue, the trade-off is often convenience rather than cost. Transit requires planning, but financially, it remains one of the most effective ways to reduce monthly expenses in the city.

Accessible Detroit: Navigating the City with Disabilities

Accessibility in Detroit transit has improved steadily, though it remains uneven. All DDOT and SMART buses are equipped with wheelchair ramps or lifts, priority seating, and audio stop announcements. Drivers receive training to assist riders with mobility needs, and service animals are permitted across all systems.

Major transit hubs, including the Rosa Parks Transit Center and People Mover stations, are designed with elevators, ramps, and clear signage. The People Mover in particular offers a fully accessible way to navigate downtown without dealing with traffic or long outdoor distances.

Beyond buses, MoGo’s Adaptive Bike program provides hand cycles and tricycles at select stations, expanding mobility options for riders with different physical abilities. While planning ahead is still necessary, Detroit offers more accessible options than many visitors expect.

Pro Tips for Getting Around Detroit

    Use Mobile Payments First

Skip cash whenever possible. The Dart app allows riders to purchase passes and board using a QR code, eliminating the need for exact change. It works across DDOT and SMART, making transfers smoother and faster. Buying a time-based pass is often more economical than paying per ride, especially if you plan to make multiple trips in one day.

    Track Before You Step Outside

Detroit weather can turn waiting into the worst part of any trip. Use the Transit App to check real-time arrivals and service alerts before leaving home or a nearby café. Many routes run frequently, but spacing your departure correctly can save time and discomfort.

    Know the Major Hubs

Large transit centers such as the Rosa Parks Transit Center and downtown People Mover stations are well-lit, staffed, and active at all hours. When traveling late at night or during off-peak times, plan routes that pass through these hubs whenever possible.

Dress for the Platform, Not the Trip

Even short waits can feel long in winter or extreme heat. Layer appropriately, wear comfortable shoes, and assume you may spend time standing outdoors. A warm coat or rain shell can matter more than the length of the ride itself.

    Sit Strategically

On buses and streetcars, sitting closer to the front offers better visibility and quicker access when exiting. It can also feel more secure, especially during late-night rides. On crowded routes, this position makes it easier to hear stop announcements.

    Combine Modes Thoughtfully

Detroit transit works best when systems are paired. Use the QLine or People Mover for short central trips, FAST buses for longer corridors, and MoGo bikes for the final stretch. Planning a trip with multiple modes often cuts total travel time.

    Time Matters More Than Distance

Traffic patterns, event schedules, and weather all affect travel times. A route that is fast at noon may move slowly during rush hour or game nights. Build in a buffer when heading to shows, flights, or time-sensitive plans.

    Trust the Rhythm

Detroit transit rewards familiarity. Learn one or two core routes and build outward from there. Once you understand how a corridor moves throughout the day, navigating the rest of the system becomes significantly easier.

    Conclusion

Detroit hasn’t stopped being a driving city, but it has reached a point where a car is no longer mandatory for daily life in certain parts of town.

Some neighborhoods are better connected than others, but for residents who plan around transit routes — and for visitors who stay within connected areas — getting around without a vehicle is more practical than many assume.

  • J.B. Bickerstaff Had This Message Before Pistons Beat Defending Champs

    [ad_1]

The Detroit Pistons didn’t let circumstances fool them.

Even with the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder missing much of their core, Detroit treated Wednesday night like a playoff test and passed it. Behind dominant performances from Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duren, the Pistons held off a late surge to secure a 124–116 win at Little Caesars Arena.

The victory pushed Detroit to 43–14, winners of six of their last seven, and owners of the NBA’s best winning percentage.

Before tipoff, head coach J.B. Bickerstaff made it clear the Pistons weren’t overlooking anyone, no matter who was unavailable.

“Those guys, no matter who’s on the floor for them, they’re champions — that means a lot,” Bickerstaff said via the Detroit News. “You don’t get to that level, compete at that level, go through as difficult scenarios as it is to win a championship and not understand how to step up when your time is called.”

    That mindset proved crucial.

    Thunder Rally, Pistons Respond

Detroit appeared to be in control after building a 17-point lead, but Oklahoma City showed its pedigree in the fourth quarter. The Thunder clawed their way back, cutting into the margin and forcing the Pistons to execute down the stretch.

    Detroit did just that.

“There were some really good moments where we did the things that we needed to do, and then there were times where I felt like we let them back in the game,” Bickerstaff said. “But again, our guys find a way.”

Cunningham took over late, pouring in 13 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter while adding 13 assists and three blocks. It was a statement bounce-back performance and a reminder of his ability to close games when it matters most.

    Duren Dominates the Paint

With Oklahoma City without key frontcourt pieces, Jalen Duren made them pay. The Pistons’ big man finished with 29 points and 14 rebounds.

“He’s unstoppable, and teams have to make very difficult decisions,” Bickerstaff said. “Coverages have to change, and it opens it up for everybody else.”

That interior dominance helped Detroit overcome a cold start from beyond the arc, where the Pistons missed six of their first seven three-point attempts and briefly fell behind by double digits.

    A Two-Star Formula That Works

When Cunningham and Duren both score 20 or more, Detroit is nearly unbeatable. The Pistons improved to 10–1 in games where the duo hits that mark — a stat that underscores how balanced this team has become.

Even with contributions from role players like Duncan Robinson, who added 16 points, the Pistons’ success continues to revolve around their two franchise cornerstones.

“Our guys’ hearts are in the right place,” Bickerstaff said. “They’re trying to do the things we ask them to do.”

Against the champs, shorthanded or not, Detroit once again proved it belongs at the top of the league.

  • This Day in Rock History: February 26

    [ad_1]

In 1965, Feb. 26 was the day sales of 45 rpm singles outperformed sales of 78 rpm record version for the first time. The smaller 45s were introduced in 1949, and the interest continued to grow. Did the growing popularity of rock music have anything to do with this change in preference? We’d like to think so. Let’s discover more rock history trivia from Feb. 26 that has left its impact on the industry.

    Breakthrough Hits and Milestones

Several rock bands had breakthrough hits and milestones on Feb. 26, and these are a couple you might find interesting:

    • 1983: Michael Jackson’s Thriller album made it to No. 1 on the Billboard albums chart, mainly due to the success of the “Billie Jean” single. It spawned seven singles in total and spent an astonishing 37 non-consecutive weeks at the top spot.
    • 1966: “These Boots Are Made for Walkin‘” by Nancy Sinatra climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Since its release, the song has been covered by several bands and featured in many movies.
    • 1977: From their fifth studio album, Hotel California, the Eagles hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart with “New Kid in Town.” This was the band’s third No. 1 hit in the U.S.

    Cultural Milestones

Over the years, these cultural milestones that happened on Feb. 26 have influenced rock music:

    • 1928: Rock and roll pioneer Fats Domino was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. His debut single, “The Fat Man,” is widely considered to be the first-ever rock and roll single to sell over a million copies.
    • 1932: Johnny Cash was born in Kingsland, Arkansas. He grew up listening to gospel music, and he started a stellar career in the mid-1950s, after serving in the Air Force for four years.
    • 1980: After watching U2 perform at Dublin’s National Boxing Stadium on Feb. 26, Rob Partridge and Bill Stewart from Island Records decided to offer the Irish rock band a contract. The group signed the contract within a month, released their first single by May, and debuted their first album in October.
    • 1987: For the first time, The Beatles released albums on CD. Four of their albums came out on Feb. 26 — Please Please MeWith The BeatlesA Hard Day’s Night, and Beatles for Sale — but the albums were only released in mono.

    Notable Recordings and Performances

Your favorite music genre had these notable recordings and performances on Feb. 26:

    • 1965: Jimmy Page released his debut solo single, “She Just Satisfies” b/w “Keep Moving,” in the UK via Fontana Records. He sang on the track, played all instruments except drums, and was also its producer.
    • 1979: The Sex Pistols released their album The Great Rock ‘n’ Roll Swindle. It would later become the soundtrack to a movie of the same name about the band.
    • 1995: To promote their reunion album No Quarter, Robert Plant and Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin launched their world tour, playing the first show of the tour in Pensacola, Florida.

    Industry Changes and Challenges

It took these rock industry changes and challenges occurring on Feb. 26 to get this popular genre to where it is today:

    • 1991: The nonfiction interview show Rockline premiered on MTV. The 30-minute show included interviews with a wide range of musicians and rock stars.
    • 1998: Just hours after Tommy Lee of Motley Crue was arrested on domestic abuse charges, his wife Pamela Anderson filed for divorce for the second time. She cited the reason for the divorce as having irreconcilable differences with Lee.

As the rock music landscape continues to evolve, you can be sure that the past events of Feb. 26 played a part in shaping the genre’s future. Without the breakthrough hits, milestones, cultural changes, notable recordings, and challenges that occurred on this day in rock history, we wouldn’t know rock music as it is today.

  • Detroit Tigers Sign LHP Colin Poche

    [ad_1]

The Detroit Tigers have added experienced bullpen depth, signing left-handed pitcher Colin Poche to a minor-league contract.

Poche, 32, brings a lengthy major-league track record and will report to big-league camp as a non-roster invitee, giving Detroit another veteran option as spring training competition heats up.

Veteran Lefty Adds Depth to Tigers Bullpen Mix

Poche has logged time with multiple MLB clubs and is best known for his years with the Tampa Bay Rays, where he emerged as a reliable late-inning lefty during their postseason runs. While the Tigers’ move doesn’t guarantee a roster spot, it adds experienced insurance to an already crowded bullpen picture.

    Poche’s 2025 Numbers

The 2025 season was a challenging one for Poche, who split time between two National League teams:

    • Games: 14
    • Innings Pitched: 9.1
    • ERA: 12.54
    • Strikeouts: 11
    • WHIP: 2.786

Despite the rough results, Detroit is betting on Poche’s career body of work and believes mechanical tweaks and a fresh environment could help him rebound.

    Career Resume Still Carries Value

Over his MLB career, Poche owns:

    • 239 appearances
    • 217.2 innings pitched
    • 4.01 career ERA
    • 241 strikeouts
    • 1.172 WHIP

At his best, Poche has shown the ability to neutralize left-handed hitters and handle high-leverage situations, traits the Tigers are hoping to rediscover in camp.

    What’s Next for Poche?

Poche will compete for a bullpen role during spring training, though a likely outcome is beginning the season at Triple-A Toledo. If he performs well, he could quickly emerge as a call-up option during the long 162-game grind.

For a Tigers team prioritizing pitching depth in 2026, this is a low-risk move with potential upside.

  • Detroit Lions Hold Formal Meeting With Zion Young

    [ad_1]

The Detroit Lions continue to cast a wide net at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, and one of the most intriguing names to emerge from their formal interview list is Missouri defensive end Zion Young.

According to combine reports, the Lions held a formal meeting with Young in Indianapolis, adding real weight to the idea that Detroit could be eyeing an edge rusher early in the 2026 NFL Draft.

That interest was echoed shortly after when ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. projected Young to the Lions with the No. 17 overall pick in his latest first-round mock draft.

Why Edge Rusher Is Squarely on Detroit’s Radar

For several seasons now, the Lions have been searching for a consistent, long-term pass-rushing partner opposite Aidan Hutchinson. While Detroit received a surprising boost last season from Al-Quadin Muhammad, who finished with 11 sacks, his future with the team is uncertain as he heads toward free agency.

Beyond Hutchinson, Detroit’s edge production remains thin. Kiper pointed out that Tyrus Wheat was the next most productive pure edge rusher on the roster, finishing with just 1.5 sacks. That lack of depth has left the Lions vulnerable when Hutchinson is chipped, doubled, or schemed against.

As Kiper wrote in his analysis, Detroit’s need is clear—even with potential interior line options available in the draft.

What Zion Young Brings to the Table

Young, who began his college career at Michigan State before transferring to Missouri, has steadily developed into a disruptive edge presence. During the 2025 season, he recorded 6.5 sacks and 46 total pressures, flashing the kind of hand usage and first-step quickness that NFL teams covet.

Kiper specifically highlighted Young’s strong hands and burst, traits that would pair well with Hutchinson’s power-based approach. In Detroit’s defensive scheme, Young profiles as a rusher who could win one-on-one matchups while benefiting from the attention Hutchinson commands on the opposite side.

    Draft Connection Worth Monitoring

While a formal combine meeting doesn’t guarantee draft intent, it often signals legitimate interest—especially when paired with a first-round projection from one of the league’s most recognizable draft analysts.

Between Detroit’s ongoing search for edge help, Muhammad’s uncertain status, and Kiper’s projection at No. 17, Zion Young has quickly become a name Lions fans should circle as the draft process continues.

With free agency looming and draft boards still shifting, the Lions appear to be laying the groundwork for a potential first-round investment in their pass rush—one that could shape the defense for years to come.

Are Online Casinos Legal in Maryland?

Currently, Maryland does not regulate or license real-money online casinos, and online casino gambling is yet to be legalized in the state. While Maryland has embraced online sports betting, lawmakers are yet to legalize online casinos to operate within state lines.

There have been efforts to change this, including House Bill 17 (HB17), introduced in January 2025 by Delegate Vanessa Atterbeary, and Senate Bill 340 (SB340) by Senator Ron Watson.

These bills aimed to establish a legal framework for online casinos, allowing existing land-based operators to offer online games and proposing tax structures and consumer protections. However, neither bill advanced during the legislative session, leaving online casinos unregulated for now.

Despite the lack of state-regulated online casinos, Maryland players still have access to various offshore online casinos that accept players from the state, including the trusted sites we’ve listed in this article.

These offshore platforms provide a wide range of casino games and welcome Maryland residents while the state continues to explore legalization and regulation.

As we’ve already alluded to, BetOnline also offers sports betting and a racebook if you prefer horse racing, and it does its job quite well. It is actually one of the greatest online sports betting sites in California, with some of the most competitive odds and event coverage.

    Banking & Usability: 5/5

Another benefit of using BetOnline in the US is the speed of the payouts. With the most cryptocurrencies supported at the site, you’re going to get your cash in under one hour. Sometimes, the process can be even faster, delivering your money within minutes.

There are plenty of payment methods that you can use for deposits and payouts here, too. The list includes over 20 methods.

All of this, combined with one of the most visually engaging and easy-to-use websites (for desktop and mobile), makes for a perfect score in this category.

    Overall Score: 4.85/5

The fact that BetOnline excels with its casino games despite being a sportsbook first and foremost is truly impressive. But then again, it has had over 30 years to perfect its craft…

    4. Lucky Red Casino – Best Bonuses of All Maryland Online Gambling Sites

    Lucky Red Casino US

    Pros:

    • 400% up to $4,000 welcome bonus
    • An extra free $75 casino chip
    • Over 200 high-quality games
    • Offers phone support
    • Daily promotions to choose from

    Cons:

    • No live dealer games
    • Very old-school design

Having been formed in 2009, Lucky Red Casino is one of the older Maryland casinos in our rankings. But it’s still going strong, and its welcome bonus plays a huge role in that.

    Casino Bonuses: 4.9/5

There’s a massive 400% deposit match of up to $4,000 waiting for all new US players at Lucky Red Casino. It also includes a free $75 casino chip for those who make their first payment using crypto. Just use the promo code LUCKYRED400.

This Maryland online casino offers players a variety of ongoing daily promotions, loyalty rewards, seasonal bonuses, and referral gifts, among others.

Slots & Other Casino Games: 4.7/5

There are just over 200 games to play at Lucky Red Casino, so not a huge figure. Most of those games come from RealTime Gaming, though, so at least you can tell the quality is going to be good. That’s particularly true of the slots, the largest part of the game collection.

Lucky Red Casino is also among the best live dealer casinos in Maryland, as it offers quite a few variants. These include Suit ‘Em Up Blackjack and 21 Blackjack.

However, you won’t actually find any live casino games. This feels like quite a large omission, and one that has prevented Lucky Red Casino from claiming a higher spot on our list of Maryland online gambling sites.

    Banking & Usability: 4.7/5

The deposit methods available to Maryland bettors at Lucky Red Casino include VISA, Bitcoin, Tether, and American Express. It’s a fairly strong list.

The website does feel a little out of date, but there are a few saving graces. For example, it’s generally well laid out, and we liked that all of the games have a key showing whether they are available for instant play, download, or mobile.

It’s also worth noting that Lucky Red Casino still has telephone support for those who are more traditional with their service requirements.

    Overall Score: 4.8/5

If Lucky Red Casino were to add a few online casino games to its ranks, it may well have found itself on our podium. Its welcome bonus and online slots certainly brought it close.

How We Ranked the Best Sites for Online Gambling in Maryland

Our ranking process for the top Maryland online casinos is based on a thorough analysis of the following key criteria important to players in the state

    Casino Bonuses

Strong Maryland online casino bonuses can really improve the gambling experience. We want to see a strong welcome offer and plenty of reload deals, so there’s always a way that you can boost your bankroll and play with more money.

    Slots

Maryland online slots are quite popular nowadays, so these are the first things we look at when evaluating the game selection of the best Maryland casinos online. There should be low-variance games to suit more relaxed players, plus progressive jackpots, high payout titles, and more.

    Other Casino Games

It’s also important that we see other types of casino games at Maryland online casinos, outside of slots. We’re talking about blackjack, roulette, poker, and other classic casino games. But it’s also useful to see more modern game styles, like Crash and Plinko.

    Banking

It’s important for a Maryland online gambling site to provide a wide range of payment methods for deposits and withdrawals. Cashouts need to be processed quickly and include minimal fees. We also consider transaction limits, making sure that they are suitable for all types of gamblers.

    Usability

What really sets the best Maryland online casino sites apart is how easy and enjoyable they are to navigate. To achieve good usability, a platform needs to be professionally designed and well-organized so that users can find their way around easily on any device.

Why Is Slots of Vegas the Best Real Money Online Casino Maryland Has to Offer?

There are several reasons why Slots of Vegas tops our rankings as the best online casino in Maryland. These are the main ones.

Easy Bonus Terms: A $2,500 welcome bonus for new US players at Slots of Vegas is impressive enough, but the fact that you only need to play through it ten times makes it even more beneficial. You won’t find many better real money online casino Maryland bonuses than this!

High Quality Slots: Almost all of the slots at Slots of Vegas come from RealTime Gaming, a highly established provider with a bunch of great, high-RTP games.

Guide to Online Casinos in Maryland

Online casino gaming is not yet officially regulated by the state of Maryland, and many residents turn to offshore casinos for a wider selection of games and crypto-friendly options. This guide offers a simple overview of the situation regarding these international online casinos.

    Legal Status

Maryland state has not legalized or regulated local online casinos. This means that offshore brands are not licensed by the state. However, current laws generally target the operators of illegal gambling businesses, not individual players who choose to use international websites.

    Licensing

Offshore casino sites are licensed outside of the United States, usually by international jurisdictions like Curaçao or Panama. These foreign licenses allow them to legally accept players from many locations, including Maryland. Plus, it ensures the sites follow basic rules for fair play and player protection, even if they’re not regulated in the US.

    Taxable Winnings

Regardless of where you win, any gambling winnings are considered taxable income by the IRS (federal tax) and by the state of Maryland. It’s a good idea to keep track of all winnings as you’re responsible for reporting them on your tax return.

Online Casinos Maryland VS. Land-Based Casinos

There are a handful of great land-based casinos in Maryland, such as the Hollywood Casino, Perryville, but we still believe that online casinos are the better option. Here are some of the main reasons why.

Higher RTPs: The house edge of games at real money online casinos in Maryland tends to be lower than that at land-based casinos.

Stronger Offers: The bonuses at Maryland real money online gambling sites are a lot better than they are at any land-based ones.

Gaming 24/7: You can play casino games online whenever you like. There aren’t any closing times.

Crypto Support: Did you know that banking with crypto at Maryland online casinos opens up all kinds of extra perks, like better security and faster payouts? Yes, that is true!

Let’s move on to our detailed reviews of the best no KYC crypto casinos and see how they ranked, based on long-term reputation and handling US-based accounts in 2026. Here’s how it worked as we tested the top platforms.

    1. Ignition – Best No KYC Casino Overall

    Spec Sheet:

    • Bonus: 300% up to $3,000 Crypto Welcome Bonus
    • Wagering: 25x
    • Payout Speed: Up to 24 Hours
    • License: Anjouan Gaming Board

    Pros:

    • Anonymous poker tables
    • 25x wagering on the welcome bonus
    • Crypto payments in up to 24 hours
    • 400+ casino games
    • Zone Poker fast-fold games

    Cons:

    • Limited live dealer lobby
    • No built-in sportsbook

Ignition is our best pick among no KYC casinos for US players right now, with a reputation built on anonymous poker, and the casino section just as solid.

You’ll find over 400 games and it’s particularly strong if you want to move between poker and slots without switching platforms. In a market where many online casinos are tightening verification rules, Ignition keeps the focus on gameplay and secure transactions.

The signup process is streamlined and avoids upfront document requests, making it appealing for players who prefer casino anonymity and minimal paperwork. It consistently ranks as one of the best gambling sites online, mainly thanks to this balance of poker traffic, casino, and crypto support.

    Testing Ignition:

I created an account using just an email and phone number. There were no requests for ID during setup, which made the onboarding process quick as expected at offshore casinos.

Ignition supports Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Lightning, Litecoin, Tether, and Ethereum. I deposited 0.005 BTC via crypto wallet, and the transaction cleared in about 15 minutes after two confirmations. The cashier is straightforward, with no confusing upsells.

Navigation is smooth, and the site isn’t cluttered with pop-ups, so switching between the poker client and casino lobby really feels seamless. I spent several hours testing the anonymous poker tables and the Zone Poker fast-fold format.

Because screen names rotate, it’s harder for opponents to track long-term play patterns, which supports private gaming. I also checked the sit-and-go lobby for any regional restrictions and found the liquidity to be excellent across all US time zones.

In the casino, I tested slots like 777 Deluxe and several Hold & Win titles. Load times were fast on mobile (Safari browser), and the graphics were sharp.

Tracking bonus progress required checking the “Active Bonuses” tab, but the information was clearly displayed once inside. The 300% up to $3,000 crypto welcome bonus comes with a 25x wagering requirement and a $20 minimum deposit.

Ignition processes Bitcoin payouts in up to 24 hours, while certain altcoin withdrawals can be processed in as little as one hour, with no fees. It’s one of the stronger no KYC withdrawal casinos, where my request for a payout via Litecoin (to minimize network fees) was approved in 4 hours, and the funds hit my wallet shortly after.

Customer support also responded quickly via live chat when I asked about crypto limits and processing times.

    Rating:

    • Payout Speed: 5/5
    • Game Quality: 4.9/5
    • Anonymity: 5/5

Get your $3,000 poker + casino bonus at Ignition

    2. BetOnline – Sportsbook and Casino Hybrid

    BetOnline Casino US

    Spec Sheet:

    • Bonus: 100 bonus spins
    • Wagering: No wagering on bonus spins (max winnings $100)
    • Payout Speed: Up to 24 Hours
    • License: Panama Gaming Control Board

    Pros:

    • Huge sportsbook and poker lobby
    • 1,600+ total games
    • High betting limits
    • Wide crypto support

    Cons:

    • Fiat withdrawal fees (3% or $50–$60)
    • Interface can feel busy

BetOnline is a long-standing name in the US market, combining a full sportsbook with a 1,600+ game casino library. Its longevity and Panama Gaming Control Board license give it a stability that many offshore casinos lack.

For players looking at no KYC casinos, BetOnline stands out with its range of crypto payments including Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Ripple, USDCoin, Tether, Cardano, and Stellar.

Using crypto helps streamline deposits and withdrawals compared to traditional banking methods. The commitment to the American market is evident in their odds formatting and the inclusion of niche college sports that are often restricted on domestic, state-regulated platforms.

Alongside sports, the casino features 1,500+ slots and 70+ table games, plus 85+ live dealer titles. This hybrid model makes it appealing for players who want both sportsbook depth and casino variety in one account.

    Testing BetOnline:

I signed up in under a minute. The registration process was straightforward and did not request documents during initial setup.

I focused my testing on the live betting suite during an NFL Sunday. The lines are updated in real time, and the bet slip is processed instantly without lag. Market depth was strong across major and niche sports.

I placed a multi-leg parlay, and the interface handled it smoothly. The unified wallet made it easy to switch from sportsbook to casino without transferring funds.

In the casino, I tested several table games including European Roulette and blackjack variants. From Pragmatic Play to Relax Gaming and Betsoft, BetOnline maintains consistent software quality and games.

For withdrawal, I used Ethereum. Crypto withdrawals are processed in up to 24 hours, with a $20 minimum for both Bitcoin and altcoins. My transaction was processed in roughly 90 minutes, with no documents requested during my testing session.

The mobile experience is browser-based, so there’s no app download required, and switching between sportsbook and casino takes a single tap.

    Rating:

    • Market Depth: 5/5
    • Banking Options: 4.9/5
    • Mobile UX: 4.9/5

Claim your 100 no wagering spins at BetOnline

    3. All Star Slots – Scaling Welcome Package

    All Star Slots Casino US

    Spec Sheet:

    • Bonus: 500% up to $4,500
    • Wagering: 50x
    • Payout Speed: 48 Hours
    • License: Anjouan

    Pros:

    • Excellent lobby with big jackpots
    • No max cashout on welcome bonus
    • Speedy and knowledgeable support
    • 500+ slots
    • Plinko, Under Pressure, and other crash titles

    Cons:

    • Fewer specialty titles
    • No live dealers

You’ll find a dedicated library of slot titles at All Star Slots, including classic and progressive-style games. It’s particularly appealing for jackpots but also features a no max cashout welcome offer to catch the eye – despite a 50x wagering requirement.

The platform is more traditional, though, so you may have to verify identity before a larger withdrawal. All Star Slots is focused purely on casino gaming rather than sports or poker, but remains very consistent with its offerings.

    Testing All Star Slots:

I registered using standard personal details (email, address, phone). The setup is somewhat more detailed here, but I quickly deposited using Bitcoin to test the cashier.

The transaction was credited within 20 minutes after standard blockchain confirmations. The site also supports major cards and additional crypto options, but I wanted to streamline the process.

Navigation is simple, though you could argue it’s visually dated. I spent most of my time in the slots section testing several classic and progressive titles, including 777 and Aztec’s Millions.

The games loaded smoothly on mobile, with no noticeable lag during spins. Tracking bonus progress was straightforward through the cashier tab.

The welcome package is sizable and depends on the amount you deposit, with somewhat higher wagering but also no withdrawal cap once you complete it.

When I requested a Bitcoin withdrawal, the funds hit my wallet within an hour after approval and at about the 24-hour mark. Not the fastest cashout, but definitely very reliable.

    Rating:

    • Banking: 4.8/5
    • Games & Jackpots: 4.7/5
    • Mobile UX: 4.8/5

Grab a welcome package of up to $4,500 at All Star Slots

    • Bonus: 300 bonus spins
    • Wagering: No wagering on bonus spins (max winnings $100)
    • Payout Speed: Up to 24 Hours (crypto)
    • License: Curacao

    Pros:

    • Modern mobile interface
    • 1,600+ casino games in lobby
    • 80+ live dealers
    • 300 bonus spins with no wagering
    • Extensive crypto and altcoin support

    Cons:

    • No dedicated poker room
    • Limited video poker options

Super Slots focuses exclusively on casino gaming and offers 1,600+ total games, including slots, 70+ table games, and live dealers. The design is modern, and it’s one of the best no KYC casinos on mobile, with a strong focus on table games and live casino.

Super Slots also stands out for its crypto depth. It supports Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Tether, USDCoin, Tron, Stellar, Solana, Cardano, Binance Coin, Avalanche, Dogecoin, Ripple, Bitcoin Cash, and more. That level of altcoin support makes wallet payments straightforward and flexible.

    Testing Super Slots:

After seeing my deposit credited almost instantly, I headed straight to the live dealer lobby to test the higher-limit blackjack tables. The stream quality was stable, and the interface allowed smooth bet adjustments. I tested Early Payout Blackjack and standard VIP Blackjack variants during my session.

Switching between live games and slots was seamless. I also explored specialty games like Keno for lower-stakes play.

You can grab the welcome offer of 300 bonus spins with no wagering and a $100 maximum win with a minimum deposit of just $10.

For withdrawals, crypto payouts are processed in up to 24 hours, with a $20 minimum for both Bitcoin and altcoins. I requested a Bitcoin withdrawal, and it was processed within three hours without additional documentation.

    Rating:

    • Live Casino: 4.8/5
    • UI/UX: 4.7/5
    • Banking Flexibility: 4.7/5

    • MySlots Rewards loyalty program
    • Strong mobile performance

    Cons:

    • Smaller table game selection

Slots.lv is best known for its Hot Drop Jackpots, which guarantees hourly and daily rewards. The format creates constant momentum, with jackpots dropping throughout the day.

Slots.lv is among the best no KYC casinos for crypto support and a streamlined registration process. The site hosts 450+ total games, including more than 400 slots and table games, with a clean interface that makes it easy to find jackpot titles and featured games.

The site promises crypto withdrawals processed in up to 24 hours, and remains one of the more practical online casinos with no KYC for jackpots.

    Testing Slots.lv:

I registered with basic details and was able to access the lobby quickly. No documents were requested during account setup.

For deposits, Slots.lv supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Lightning, Tether, and Bitcoin Cash. I used Bitcoin Cash to test the cashier. The transaction was credited after standard confirmations.

The Hot Drop Jackpots are clearly displayed, with visible timers and prize indicators. I spent time playing Golden Buffalo and several other featured slot titles. The games ran smoothly on mobile, and load times were fast on both Wi-Fi and mobile data.

While testing, I checked the loyalty system. MySlots Rewards activates automatically and tracks play for bonus conversions. Points accumulate during regular gameplay and can be exchanged for bonuses, adding ongoing value beyond the initial 200% up to $3,000 offer.

The welcome bonus carries a 35x wagering requirement with a $20 minimum deposit. The maximum bet while using the bonus is capped at 20% of the deposited amount.

For withdrawals, Bitcoin payouts are processed in up to 24 hours with a $100 minimum. Certain altcoin withdrawals can be processed in as little as one hour, with minimums ranging from $10-$50 depending on the coin. No crypto fees.

When I requested a crypto withdrawal during testing, it was processed within 18 hours without additional verification steps. The cashier works well across iPhone and Android browsers without requiring an app download.

    • Bonus: 250% up to $2,500 + 50 bonus spins
    • Wagering: 5x (deposit bonus) / 2x (bonus spins)
    • Payout Speed: 7-10 Days (Bitcoin)

    • Low wagering on bonuses
    • 300+ games in lobby
    • Easy banking across payment methods
    • Supports Bitcoin and altcoins
    • Regular no deposit and reload offers

    Cons:

    • No live dealer games
    • Limited game providers compared to larger platforms

Slots of Vegas is a crypto-friendly platform with low wagering when compared to many offshore competitors. While it doesn’t operate as a no account casino, it will catch your eye with numerous promos around the clock.

The headline offer is a 250% match up to $2,500 with a 5x wagering requirement, plus 50 bonus spins with 2x wagering.

The platform hosts 300+ games, including different slots and table games but you won’t find live dealer casino options, so the focus is on slots and RNG games.

    Testing Slots of Vegas:

I claimed the ‘No Rules’ welcome offer and deposited via Bitcoin from a private wallet. The minimum deposit is $30. The cashier supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and other options alongside cards.

I spent most of my session on popular slot titles like Plentiful Treasure. The game performance was stable on mobile Safari, and the interface allowed easy bet adjustments as well as quick access to jackpot info.

I also tested the video poker section, including classic Jacks or Better variants. Navigation is simple, though the overall design feels basic compared to newer crypto casino platforms.

The 5x wagering on the main deposit bonus makes the offer very accessible, and the maximum bet is capped high at $10.

For withdrawals, the listed Bitcoin processing time is 7-10 days with a $50 minimum. Altcoin withdrawals range from 0-7 days with a $20 minimum. I submitted my request on a Tuesday morning and had the Bitcoin in my wallet by the following Monday morning.

No documents were requested during my initial session, but as with most offshore casinos, verification can pop up before withdrawals, depending on account activity.

The mobile site works in-browser without requiring an app download. Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data did not interrupt gameplay as I intentionally triggered several high-animation bonus rounds on my iPhone 15.

    Understanding No KYC Casinos

Before you sign up at any site on this list, it’s important to understand exactly what “no KYC” means in practice – and where the limits of that privacy actually lie.

What Are Online Casinos with No KYC?

No KYC casinos allow players to deposit, gamble, and withdraw funds without the standard Know Your Customer identity verification (ID, proof of address, etc.). While traditional casinos require these documents to meet strict regulations and prevent fraud, no KYC platforms offer a more streamlined, private experience.

    Key Features

    • Privacy & Speed: By operating under flexible decentralized casino licenses (like Curacao or Panama), these sites often skip the document approval wait times.
    • Crypto-Centric: Most rely on cryptocurrency, which allows for pseudonymous transactions. Using traditional banking usually triggers the very verification these sites aim to avoid.
    • The “No KYC” Clause: While identity checks are rare, most platforms reserve the right to request documents in cases of suspected fraud or massive withdrawals.
    • Accessibility: For players in restricted regions, casinos with no KYC offer access to games without invasive data collection or geographic blocks.

How Anonymous Are No Verification Casinos?

True anonymity at no KYC casinos depends on your setup. Merely using a “no verification” site isn’t enough if your email and payment methods don’t allow anonymous deposits.

    • Registration Privacy: Most sites only require an email, phone, and date of birth. To stay anonymous, avoid using your primary or work email. Instead, use a dedicated or burner email from providers like ProtonMail to prevent your activity being linked to you.
    • The Crypto Trail: Bitcoin and Ethereum are pseudonymous, not anonymous. Since transactions are public, using a wallet funded by a KYC exchange (like Coinbase) leaves a traceable link.
    • Maximum Anonymity: For the highest level of privacy, use Monero, which hides transaction data, or use privacy wallets and “mixing” services to break the digital paper trail.

    How to Spot Scam Casinos

Because online casinos with no KYC operate with less oversight, you must perform your own due diligence. Watch for these common red flags:

    • Predatory Bonuses: Be wary of “too-good-to-be-true” offers (e.g., 1000% matches) or impossible wagering requirements (100x+).
    • Fake Licensing: Legitimate sites display verifiable licenses from jurisdictions like Curacao or Panama in their footer. Scams use fake logos or omit this info entirely.
    • Poor Support: Test the live chat first. Scams often have no real-time support or rely on unhelpful automated loops.
    • Pirated Games: Reputable sites host games from known providers (NetEnt, Pragmatic Play). Scams often use “home-made” or rigged, counterfeit versions of popular titles.
    • Withdrawal Friction: Avoid sites with confusing withdrawal terms, hidden fees, or unusually long processing times.

    How to Stay Safe

So, how do you stay safe at offshore casinos? Here are a couple of tips to spot potential issues:

    • Check Reviews: Look for consistent patterns of “confiscated winnings” on forums like AskGamblers or Reddit.
    • Evaluate Site Quality: Broken links, poor grammar, and low-res graphics often signal a low-effort scam site.
    • Stick to Established Brands: Sometimes it’s all about the legacy. Trust long-running names (like BetOnline or Ignition) that have years of proven payouts.

    Cryptocurrency Guide for Beginners

A crypto casino is usually faster and more private than traditional online sites. Here is the streamlined process for using crypto for gambling in 2026.

    1. Buy Your Crypto

Start by buying crypto that works well with online gambling sites.

    • Platforms: Use Coinbase or Cash App (easiest for US users).
    • Best Coins: Choose Litecoin (LTC) or Bitcoin Cash (BCH). They have much lower fees (under $0.10) and faster speeds than Bitcoin.
    • Verification: You’ll need to complete a one-time ID check (KYC) to link your bank or debit card.

    2. Use a Private Wallet (Pro Tip)

Instead of sending directly from Coinbase to a casino, move your funds to a personal wallet first (like Exodus). This adds an extra layer of security and privacy, breaking the direct link between your exchange account and your gambling activity.

    3. Deposit to the Casino

Go to the casino’s cashier and select your coin. Carefully copy the unique string of characters or scan the QR code. Paste that address into your wallet’s “Send” field and confirm. Funds usually appear in 15-45 minutes.

    4. Withdraw Your Winnings

When it’s time to request a withdrawal from the casino cashier, you simply paste your personal wallet’s “Receive” address. Once received, you can keep the crypto or send it back to Coinbase to sell for USD.

    US Betting Tips

We’re sending you off with a couple of tips we’d have loved to hear earlier:

Timing Your Deposits for Maximum Bonus Value

Most casinos run special promotions during major sporting events (Super Bowl, March Madness, World Series) or holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s).

If you’re planning a larger deposit, wait for these promotional periods when bonuses can jump from 200% to 350% or higher. Sign up for casino email newsletters to get notified about limited-time offers that aren’t advertised on the site.

Understanding Game Contribution to Wagering Requirements

Not all games contribute equally to bonus wagering requirements. Slots typically contribute 100%, meaning a $100 bet counts as $100 toward your playthrough. Table games like blackjack and roulette often contribute only 10-20%, while some games like baccarat or video poker might be excluded entirely.

Always check the bonus terms to understand which games help you clear your wagering requirement fastest.

    The Power of Reload Bonuses

While welcome bonuses get all the attention, reload bonuses (offered on subsequent deposits) provide better long-term value for regular players. Sites like Cafe Casino and Slots.lv offer weekly reload bonuses. If you plan to play regularly, prioritize casinos with strong reload programs rather than chasing one-time welcome bonuses.

    Managing Crypto Volatility

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can swing 5-10% in a single day. If you deposit $500 in Bitcoin and it takes you three days to clear your wagering requirement, the value of your Bitcoin casino withdrawal could be significantly higher or lower than your original deposit.

To avoid this volatility, consider using stablecoins like USDT or USDC (pegged to the US dollar) at casinos that accept them, or withdraw immediately after clearing your playthrough.

    Session Bankroll Management

Before starting any gambling session, decide your stop-loss (how much you’re willing to lose) and your win goal (profit target at which you’ll cash out).

A common approach is the 50% rule: if you lose 50% of your session bankroll, quit for the day. If you double your starting bankroll, withdraw half and continue playing with ‘house money.’ This discipline prevents the common trap of winning big, continuing to play, and giving it all back.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

We address commonly asked questions about anonymous gambling and no KYC casinos you can play at below.

Are No KYC Casinos Legal in the US?

Online gambling legality varies by state. Casinos with no KYC operate offshore and generally accept US players, but you should always check your local laws before playing.

What Is the Best Cryptocurrency for Anonymous Gambling?

Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash are excellent because they offer fast speeds and low fees. Monero is the most private, but it is supported by fewer sites than the likes of Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Can I Use the Same Crypto Wallet Address for Multiple Casinos?

Yes, you can use one wallet address to receive withdrawals from different casinos. However, for maximum privacy, players often prefer creating separate wallet addresses for different casinos to avoid cross-linking their gambling activity. Modern wallet apps like Exodus make it easy to generate multiple receiving addresses.

What Happens if I Send Crypto to the Wrong Address?

It’s critical to always double-check – or better yet, triple-check – the deposit address before confirming any transaction. You cannot reverse a crypto transaction if you send funds to the wrong address, so you risk permanently losing funds if you make mistakes.

Should I Keep My Crypto in the Casino Wallet or Withdraw After Every Session?

Best practice is to withdraw your balance to your personal wallet after each session. Casino accounts aren’t insured like bank accounts, and while reputable sites are generally safe, storing funds in your own wallet gives you complete control.

What’s the Minimum Withdrawal Amount at Most Casinos?

Minimum crypto withdrawals typically range from $20 to $50 depending on the casino and cryptocurrency. Bitcoin minimums are usually higher ($50-$100) due to network fees, while Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash can have lower minimums ($10-$20).

Finding Your Best No KYC Casino Today

No KYC casinos offer more freedom than ever for US players. By using crypto and sticking to reputable brands like Ignition, you can enjoy a full suite of casino games with minimal documents and without compromising your privacy.

  • Michigan cannabis sales hit 3-year low amid 24% wholesales tax

    [ad_1]

Michigan’s legal cannabis sales fell to their lowest level in three years in January, the first month that the state imposed a new 24% wholesale tax, prompting concerns that higher costs will further destabilize the industry and fuel the illicit market.

Recreational cannabis sales fell to $226.4 million in January, an 8.2% decline from a year earlier and the lowest monthly total since February 2023, according to newly released data from the Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA).

Michigan cannabis sales fell to $226.4 million in January 2026, the lowest monthly total since February 2023. Credit: Detroit Metro Times

It’s an early sign that the six-year-old legal industry could be in serious trouble after Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and lawmakers approved the tax. The market has already lost hundreds of businesses and thousands of workers.

“The last industry you want to raise taxes on is one that already has a robust illicit market,” Hirsh Jain, founder of Ananda Strategy, a cannabis consulting firm in Los Angeles, and an instructor at Oaksterdam University, tells Metro Times. “It’s politically indefensible because it’s at odds with Michigan’s long-standing position on cannabis as medicine. We don’t tax medicine, especially at a moment when federal changes may be on the horizon. There really is an irony here.”

The new 24% wholesale tax took effect on Jan. 1 as part of a road-funding package approved late last year by Whitmer and the Legislature. Unlike the existing 10% retail excise tax and 6% sales tax on cannabis, which is paid by consumers at checkout, the new levy is imposed when cannabis is first sold or transferred from a licensed grower to a dispensary.

Under the law, wholesalers are responsible for paying the tax to the state. But the cost can be baked into the price they charge dispensaries, which in turn may pass some of the increase on to customers. The added layer, industry leaders warned, would raise prices in a market already struggling with oversupply and falling margins.

The Michigan Cannabis Industry Association, which represents more than 400 businesses, sued the state in the Court of Claims in October, arguing the tax is unconstitutional because it amends a voter-approved cannabis law without the required approval from three-quarters of the Legislature.

When voters legalized recreational marijuana in 2018, they solely approved a 10% excise tax to keep legal cannabis competitive with the illicit market.

State leaders have maintained the wholesale tax is legal and necessary to help close budget gaps and fund road repairs. Yet, neither the governor nor the Legislature has touched the 4% liquor tax since it was set in 1985. That’s no surprise to many cannabis advocates because the liquor industry has one of the most powerful lobbies and has donated heavily to Whitmer and other lawmakers.

The cannabis lobby is far less robust and influential.

Whitmer, who also tried in vain to ban nicotine vaping in 2019, has yet to impose a tax on that industry, though she is seeking one this year

The Whitmer administration has projected the cannabis wholesale tax could generate roughly $420 million annually, but that estimate is based on a robust legal market. And as sales continue to fall, the excise tax revenue that cities and the state rely on to fund roads, education, parks, police and firefighters will shrink.

The impact goes beyond consumer prices and tax collections. The state’s recreational cannabis industry has been one of the fastest-growing job creators in the state.

Licensed medical and adult-use cannabis businesses employ more than 41,200 workers, according to the CRA.

The $3 billion-a-year industry accounted for roughly 52% of net private-sector job creation in Michigan from 2018 through 2024, an impressive feat for a sector that represents about 1% of total private employment, according to Crain’s Detroit Business

Those jobs include retail staff, cultivation workers, lab technicians, delivery drivers, compliance officers, and security teams, and many of those positions do not require a college degree and offer stable pay.

“This is a very complicated economic phenomenon with several causes,” Jain says. “It’s unfortunate because declining sales mean businesses close and employees get laid off. There are going to be more businesses that close because of this. That means more people are out of work.”

More than 940 cannabis licenses have become inactive since adult-use sales began in 2019. While new operators continue to enter the market, closures are increasing as margins shrink and supply continues to outpace demand.

“If cannabis has been responsible for 52% of net private-sector job creation, that makes it one of the leading job growth engines in the state,” Jain says. “I’m astonished that that can be ignored.”

In 2025, the market posted its first annual decline since recreational sales began in December 2019. Adult-use cannabis sales totaled $3.17 billion last year, down from $3.27 billion in 2024, a 3.1% drop that followed years of robust growth.

Prices have fallen for years as supply has outpaced demand. The average retail price for an ounce of flower was $59.07 in January, down from $66.50 a year earlier and far below the $93 average in January 2024. Prices rose slightly from $58.22 in December, suggesting the wholesale tax has not yet trickled down to consumers.

That’s not surprising because most products on dispensary shelves in January were purchased before the tax went into effect.

“There was some interesting behavior in December, when a significant number of shoppers stocked up,” Jain says. “A lot of that inventory is not subject to the new tax. When February, March, and April come around and all of this inventory is subject to higher taxes, we could see a more pronounced impact on consumer behavior. People were in a rush to get products.”

Even modest price increases could push consumers out of licensed dispensaries, Jain says.

“Cannabis has a really robust and sophisticated illicit market,” Jain explains. “Michigan historically had one of the more robust legal markets because prices were relatively low. Its decision to increase taxes very predictably pushed some consumers back to the illegal market and that will continue to happen.”

Consumers moving to the illicit market don’t just hurt legal businesses and their employees. Illicit operators aren’t required to pay taxes, undergo product testing, or provide worker protections. That means fewer consumer safeguards and less revenue for communities.

The irony, Jain says, is that Michigan was once seen as a model for how to build a competitive legal market.

“I was surprised,” he said. “I thought the direct lesson from California would have persuaded decision-makers in Michigan. This decision was made after California’s economic impact was already clear.”

In the same week the Michigan House approved the wholesale tax, California rolled back a planned cannabis tax increase after high rates drove consumers to the illicit market and forced legal businesses to close.

For months, Whitmer’s administration has declined to answer Metro Times’s questions about the tax increase. On Wednesday, the administration declined to respond to questions about sales falling, what that means for the legal cannabis market and the jobs it creates, and whether the state has a plan to address the problems it created.

  • Robert Plant’s 2026 Saving Grace Tour Adds Rockabilly Star Rosie Flores

    [ad_1]

Rosie Flores will perform with Robert Plant’s 2026 Saving Grace tour as a guest for 16 dates this spring. The guitarist hit the road with the Led Zeppelin vocalist last November as an opener.

The spring leg kicks off March 14 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and ends on April 7 in New York. Fans in Austin can watch the show on March 21 at ACL Live at the Moody Theater, while New Orleans gets the performance on March 22 at the Saenger Theatre.

“Opening for Robert Plant last fall with my Rockabilly trio was one of the greatest honors of my life,” Flores said in a press release, as reported by Offbeat Magazine. “We’re thrilled to have been invited back for the Spring tour. And I’m excited to once again get to see Robert with singer Suzi Dian and their killer band performing songs from their latest release, Saving Grace.”

Flores will play with drummer Chris Sensat and bassist Tommy Vee from St. Cloud, Minnesota. Singer Suzi Dian will perform with Plant during his sets.

The San Antonio-born performer has lived in Austin for many years. She’s 75 now, and she still plays live shows, mixing rockabilly, country, and blues with her Fender Telecaster, which has become her trademark sound.

The National Endowment for the Arts gave Flores the NEA National Heritage Fellowship Award in 2024. The government organization calls this their top honor for folk and traditional arts.

Flores gained attention in the 1970s on the “cowpunk” circuit, playing with Dwight Yoakam, Lucinda Williams, and Los Lobos. Her 1987 solo debut helped build what would become the alt-country movement. The Country Music Hall of Fame showed her work in their exhibition Western Edge: The Roots & Reverberations of Los Angeles Country-Rock.

Plant’s album Saving Grace came out in September 2025. It has covers of blues artists like Blind Willie Johnson and traditional tunes, hitting No. 1 on the U.K. Americana Albums chart and No. 17 on the U.S. top album sales chart.
