  • William & Kate Are Reportedly Close to Attending Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Wedding After Her ‘Private Letters’ to the Princess ‘During Her Difficult Year’

    [ad_1]

If Jeff Bezos’ wedding to Lauren Sanchez was considered the celebrity event of 2025, there’s no doubt that Taylor Swift’s wedding to Travis Kelce will be the social event of the season when it happens. And though Swift has been knee deep into promoting her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, and has yet to start wedding planning in full, some details about what we can expect are already being reported.

That includes possible guests. A source told Fox News Digital that Swift wants to invite Prince William and Kate Middleton to her wedding. “Taylor Swift is one very canny operator — developing her fan base, working incredibly hard writing some of the most popular pop tunes of the last decade, and cementing a good friendship with the future king Prince William over 10 years ago — a relationship that has culminated in private letters, inspirational cards and good wishes to Princess Catherine during her difficult year,” the insider said. Now, that’s quite interesting and seemingly a good reason for an invite.

And that’s not all. “Now, Taylor is planning the wedding of all weddings, but this is what makes her unique,” the source continued. “She wants to use the wedding not just to say as a celebration of love, but also to thank people who have made the journey to this point along the way and that will include all manner of people from all manner of backgrounds”

Swift said in a series of interviews to promote her new album that she had yet to start planning, but she also told the host of The Graham Norton Show that she was planning to invite him.

“Is next year the wedding year?” Norton asked Swift. “Is that what’s happening?”

“Oh, you’ll know,” Swift replied. “I mean, I was going to invite you to it.”

The singer also confirmed the wedding would be huge, and made it clear her guest list was going to be extensive, though she didn’t give a date or a date range for it.

“I’m so excited about it,” she added. “I know it’s going to be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble. And you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there.” But that’s not the case. “I’m not going to do that,” she shared.

The reported size of the wedding seems to support recent comments from iconic wedding dress designer Vera Wang, who was asked what Swift would wear to the wedding while speaking to E! News at the DKMS 19th Annual Gala on Oct. 14. “I don’t think there’ll be just one [dress]. But that’d be my guess,” Wang said.

And considering what Swift has said about it, that feels fair. If you’re thinking of inviting everyone you’ve ever come in contact with, potentially including the Prince and Princess of Wales, then you probably need to wear a few different dresses for that party. Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez who?

  • Princess Rajwa of Jordan Reunites With Kate Middleton in Paris

    [ad_1]

Earlier this week, Queen Rania’s daughter-in-law also paid a visit to Princess Eugenie at the Springfield University Mental Health Hospital, where they were able to see the facilities designed by a group of international artists who collaborate with the public health system to provide patients with more welcoming spaces in which to recover.

Although her European tour had begun in Paris, there is no better place for Rajwa than the Windsors’ England to learn how to navigate the world of international relations.

Jordan and the United Kingdom have been linked by close diplomatic ties for decades, and so have their respective royal families, bound by a solid friendship that has lasted three generations. The grandparents of Prince William and Prince Hussein, Queen Elizabeth and King Hussein, ascended to the throne of their countries in the same year (1952) and met many times during their reigns until the latter’s death in 1999. King Abdullah did part of his studies in the United Kingdom, a country from which his mother, Princess Muna, also came, and the same can be said of Prince Hussein himself, who like many of the members of the British royal family (including William) trained at the Sandhurst military academy.

  • Prince Louis Was Offered an Opportunity to Turn His Nutty Hobby Into an Official Role

    [ad_1]

A few weeks ago, after learning how much Prince Louis, the youngest son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, likes to collect horse chestnut seeds in the woods surrounding his family home in Windsor, the World Conker Championship was intrigued. The competition—for gathering conkers, another name for the seeds—is one of the most traditional tournaments in the UK. Organizers wrote to Kensington Palace to offer him what would have been his first official role as a member of the royal family: To become the honorary president of the organization.

The offer reached the office of the Prince and Princess of Wales, but ultimately Kate and William decided to decline the honor on behalf of the 7-year-old royal. “We really appreciate the invitation, but currently Prince Louis is ‘conker-trating’ on his studies,” the Prince and Princess of Wales replied through a spokesman, according to The Telegraph.

The offer followed statements made by Kate Middleton during a meeting with a group of scouts during President Donald Trump‘s visit in September, accompanied by Melania Trump. The Princess of Wales is a nature enthusiast and royal patron of the Scouts. She shared how Louis collects the nuts and plays with them, hiding them or loading toy trucks with them. “We find finding conkers in cupboards, in his bed—conkers everywhere,” Kate explained to a scoutmaster.

The World Conker Championships organization then thought that Prince Louis might like to be its honorary president and thus help maintain the tradition of presenting its tournament, consisting of matches between two players, each with a conker tied to a rope, who try to hit the other’s until it breaks. After all, King Charles III recently showed his interest in this tradition by sending hundreds of conkers from Windsor Castle so that the competition could be held, after a shortage that had threatened this year’s edition (it takes place on the second Sunday of October). Princess Kate herself has also spoken on many occasions about how important she considers this type of nature-based game for the education of her children.

“Like many other organizations for which members of the royal family are patrons, we have charitable aims and have raised nearly £450,000 to help people living with sight loss,” a spokesperson for the championship explained a few days ago, after expressing how much they wanted Kensington Palace to accept their invitation.

  • Kate Middleton and Prince William Wear Tweed For an Apple Picking Excursion, Naturally

    [ad_1]

Kate Middleton and Prince William have officially welcomed autumn with an official visit to Long Meadow Cider farm in Craigavon, Northern Ireland. Their coordinating fall looks were perfect for the transitional weather. Both royals opted for the deep color palette typical of the season, including forest green and brown. Intentionally or not, their outfits were in chromatic harmony. Being on the same page without being too matchy-matchy has long been one of this couple’s great style skills.

The Princess of Wales’s hero item is undoubtedly her Ralph Lauren midi skirt in tweed. A casual-chic option ideal for this season, its wide cut and flared hem give it a healthy dose of practicality. The skirt comes in a shade of brown that’s practically identical to her husband’s jacket, which, incidentally, also appears to be made of the same fabric.

  • Prince William and Gisele Bündchen Join Forces for Climate Campaign in Brazil

    [ad_1]

Prince William has added a supermodel to his delegation of eco-friendly spokespeople. None other than Brazilian fashion mogul Gisele Bündchen has joined the board of the Earthshot Prize, the initiative of King Charles III’s son supporting inventions for the environment and sustainability. “Guided by her love for her family, community and nature, Gisele has long inspired millions with her vision and commitment to positive change,” a statement on the official initiative Instagram read, emphasizing the value of Bündchen’s “leadership,” as well as her “dedication” that will be “invaluable” to “Brazil and beyond.”

“Honored” to join the movement, Bündchen renewed her pledge to be a spokesperson for the protection of nature, a cause that has long been close to her heart. “I’ve seen the power of global communities coming together and supporting innovation to create real change,” she said in a statement shared with People. “The Earthshot Award highlights solutions that inspire hope and transformation, and I’m proud to represent Brazil by sharing these stories with the world.”

The model joins a host of other celebrities who have advocated for the cause, including two-time Oscar winner Cate Blanchett, Queen Rania of Jordan, and British journalist Sir David Attenborough. By accepting this role, the fourteen members of the Council commit themselves to promoting positive action in favor of the environment. Their votes also count in determining the five winners of the Earthshot Prize, awarded each autumn under the chairmanship of Christiana Figueres.

Bündchen’s nomination comes just a month and a half before the Earthshot Prize ceremony, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro on November 5. The red carpet is already shaping up to be glamorous. The Prince of Wales has announced that he will be attending, but the presence of his wife, Kate Middleton, has not yet been announced.

  • The Real Reason William May Not Be a Full-Time King as Kate Is Forced to ‘Re-evaluate Her Life’—He’s Facing Serious ‘Warnings’

    [ad_1]

Could Prince William be the British royal family’s first “part-time king?” A source told Radar Online in a report published on October 9, 2025, that William’s wife Kate Middleton’s dream to live “off-grid” in the English countryside has left Buckingham Palace concerned that the Prince of Wales could be the first “part-time king.”

The report comes after William and Kate—as well as their three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—prepare to move to Forest Lodge, a secluded eight-bedroom home in Windsor Great Park, later this year. The move has been reported to be a part of William and Kate’s long-term plan to raise George, Charlotte and Louis away from the pressures of the palace. However, sources told Radar Online that they could also reflect William and Kate’s desire for more privacy in their later years, especially after Kate’s cancer battle in 2024 and early 2025.

“Kate has completely re-evaluated her life since her illness. She wants to live more simply, surrounded by nature, and focus on her family and her health. She believes fresh air, peace, and time outdoors are key to staying strong. Forest Lodge gives her that space – but it also means William will have to make choices about how much time he spends in London versus Windsor,” the insider said.

While a move away from Buckingham Palace would do well for the couple’s mental health, aides also claimed to Radar Online that The Firm is concerned it could lead to a “part-time monarchy” on William’s part once he takes the throne from his father, King Charles. “People are worried that by putting family life and privacy first, William could start to lose touch with the public. The late Queen always believed visibility was essential – and some think he’s pulling back more than he should,” the insider said.

William’s aunt, Princess Anne, is also unsupportive of him and Kate going off the grid, as she believes royal engagements are the “bread and butter” of the family’s duties. “Anne thinks being seen is crucial,” the insider said. “She’s never really understood William’s wish to scale back his engagements. In her view, the role is the role – you turn up and do it, whatever it takes.”

Another source, however, argued that “William wants to modernize the monarchy.” The insider continued, “[He wants to] make it more focused and less about ceremony. But there’s a delicate balance between being strategic and being invisible. If he isn’t seen enough, the royal family could lose its connection with the public.”

The insider continued, “Kate wants a peaceful, healthy life, and William is determined to make that happen,” one close confidante said. “But to do that, he’ll have to find a balance between being the private husband he wants to be and the public king he’s expected to become.”

Another source told Radar Online in a report published on October 9, 2025, that William’s “revolutionary” plans to change the crown have also been met with criticism by Buckingham Palace. “The monarch’s role demands that duty always comes first,” an insider said, adding that William “needs to be careful” not to weaken the crown by changing too much. “It isn’t about personal preference – it’s about responsibility, branding and presentation. Being monarch is a lifelong commitment, and it’s an exhausting one.”

Another source added, “There’s real unease among the old guard. The Men in Grey Suits – the advisers who’ve served multiple reigns – think William is moving too fast, too freely. They understand his wish to be a hands-on father, but they fear he could forget that the monarchy’s strength lies in its visibility and ritual.”

However, William isn’t alone in facing tension with The Firm. His mother, Princess Diana, also struggled with the executive side of the palace. “Princess Diana used to speak about her fear of these same courtiers – she called them the Men in Grey Suits – and now they’re the ones quietly reminding her son that modernizing the monarchy has limits,” the insider said.

As for what changes William plans to make, the source noted that the prince wants to “slim down” the working side of the royal family. “William is reshaping things on his own terms,” an insider said. “He’s convinced that a leaner monarchy is the way forward. But if he pulls back too much, and if the public stops seeing royals out meeting people and doing engagements, that bond begins to weaken. He really needs to tread carefully.”

The insider also noted William’s prioritization of his family over the throne. “He’s deeply focused on his family,” a source said. “Unlike Charles, who doesn’t have young children at home, William enjoys doing the school run and spending time in the countryside – his lifestyle is completely different.”

The source continued, “William’s vision is rooted in normality – he wants his kids George, Charlotte and Louis to grow up grounded. But some of the senior staff see that as a risk. They remember Diana’s battles with the Men in Grey Suits, and they see history repeating itself in a new form.”

The insider also pointed out William’s steadfastness as a royal. “But William is pig-headed. He’s determined to do things his own way. The establishment – those Men in Grey Suits so feared and hated by Diana – are watching closely.,” the source said. “They respect his instincts, but they’ll never let him forget that the monarchy survives not through change alone, but through community and presenting itself as all-powerful.”

  • Kate Middleton Explains a House Rule: No Phones for the Kids

    [ad_1]

Kate Middleton has written an impassioned essay warning that smartphones and computers are a source of “constant distraction,” a plague that interrupts family life and threatens to make the next generation “the most isolated in history.”

The Princess of Wales—who shares children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis with husband Prince William—added that devices can prevent parents from fully engaging with their children, “withdrawing the basic form of love that human connection requires.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales have a strict no phone policy for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, pictured at Trooping the Colour in 2023

The essay, written in collaboration with Professor Robert Waldinger from Harvard Medical School, was published Thursday on the website of the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. Children’s mental health and wellbeing have become a pillar of Kate’s royal work as she champions the importance of early childhood development.

But this is more than just an intellectual exercise for the Princess of Wales. Prince William recently revealed that none of their children is allowed a smart phone, as they encourage quality, screen-free family time at home.

The princess explains the rationale further in her new essay. “When we check our phones during conversations, scroll through social media during family dinners, or respond to e-mails while playing with our children, we’re not just being distracted we are withdrawing the basic form of love that human connection requires,” she writes.

  • Harry Accused of ‘Blatant Attempt’ to ‘Upstage’ William & Kate—’People Are Livid’

    [ad_1]

Prince Harry is being accused of trying to “upstage” Prince William and Kate Middleton with a “cynical PR stunt.”

The accusations came after Harry—who is estranged from William, Kate and his father King Charles—sent a wreath and a handwritten letter to be placed in honor of his grandfather, Prince Philip, at the Burma Star Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in London on September 2025. The service, which was held on VJ Day, honored the “Forgotten Army,” who fought in the Pacific during World War II. many members of the british royal family, including Charles and his wife Queen Camilla, were also at the event.

“For me, this anniversary carries an added layer of meaning. My late grandfather, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, served in the Pacific campaign. He spoke with quiet humility about those years, but I know how deeply he respected all who stood beside him in that theatre of war,” Harry wrote in the letter.

He continued, “Your story is part of our shared heritage, and it must never be forgotten. With the deepest respect, thank you.” While the note was heartfelt, royal experts questioned its timing. One source said the move felt “far too polished to be genuine.”

    Charles, William, Harry

Weeks later, Harry is accused of using the memorial as a “PR play” to earn positive press. “Harry’s move was no accident. Arriving after the King had gone made it seem respectful on the surface – but the timing, the note, and the perfectly staged photos made it obvious it was a PR play. People in the palace were livid. It was meant to be the King’s moment of remembrance, yet Harry managed to turn the spotlight back on himself,” a source told Radar Online in October 2025.

The insider continued, “If this wasn’t a PR stunt, Harry could have laid the note quietly and walked away. But the fact it was captured and shared so neatly tells you everything you need to know.”

Another source told the site that Harry’s move “caught everyone off guard. as “no one had Harry on the schedule.” The insider continued, “The event had been planned for months, with the King and Camilla front and center. For Harry to appear afterward, conveniently with cameras waiting, felt very deliberate and carefully orchestrated.”

The insider also accused Harry of trying to steal the “spotlight” from William and Kate, whose health is still recovering after battling cancer earlier in 2025. “Everyone knows Kate is still easing back into things and prioritizing her recovery and family. William fully backs her on that. But some people saw Harry’s gesture as a way of stepping into the spotlight – a reminder that he still wants to be noticed,” the insider said.

Another source also added how Philip would have felt, “Philip was a serviceman. He never made things about himself. He’d have thought Harry’s letter was self-indulgent.”

As for Charles’ opinion, a source added that the king was “deeply frustrated” by Harry’s move. “Charles intended the day to honor the veterans and the nation’s remembrance,” the insider said. “But once again, it turned into a story about family tensions. It was exactly the kind of distraction he doesn’t need.”

  • Charles & William Just Confirmed Where They Stand After Reports They’re Not Speaking Over the Prince’s ‘Betrayal’ to the Crown’

    [ad_1]

King Charles’ issues with Prince Harry have been well-documented. But as the issues with Prince Harry have reportedly been getting better in the last few months, with the two even meeting in person for the first time in over a year in September, the relationship with his oldest son and heir, Prince William, has reportedly deteriorated. It’s like there’s gotta be drama somewhere.

However, whatever’s going on with father and son, they still know how to put on a good face together. That’s right, the two made a rare joint appearance on Thursday, October 9, at a reception ahead of the COP30 climate summit, which will be held in the Brazilian city of Belem. The Prince of Wales is set to attend the conference on behalf of King Charles.

Related: Here’s what each royal inherited from Queen Elizabeth

Both the King and Prince William have long been advocates of preserving nature. William’s own Earthshot awards will be held in Brazil ahead of the COP summit. So, if they were going to pick one event for a joint appearance, this one certainly makes sense.

Ironically, though, this comes as rumors of a possible feud between them have been swirling. Rob Shuter’s ShuterScoop recently reported that King Charles was upset about Prince William’s interview with Eugene Levy for his Apple TV+ series The Reluctant Traveler. During the show, William spoke candidly about his hopes for the future of the monarchy, and also about his childhood and what he views as mistakes of the past that he doesn’t want repeated.

Rumors are that King Charles did not take that well, to the point their relationship had “collapsed into silence.” Even then, Shuter reported that aides were trying to do everything possible to bring them back together for a “peace walk,” so this joint appearance isn’t a surprise. It also might not even mean anything about their relationship, since recent reports indicated that at this point “trust is shattered” between the two.

The King sees it as betrayal, not honesty,” a source said about William’s remarks. Another one added, “It’s not just family tension—it’s about the Crown itself.”

Prince William and King Charles have reportedly not been seeing eye to eye about the monarchy in general for a while, and that has put strain on their relationship. With The Daily Beast reporting that their relationship these days is “tense, difficult, formal, and fraught,” and that “the vast majority of their communication is mediated by their private secretaries.”

Prince William spoke a little bit about his desire for change in his latest interview, but this has been going on for a while. One source told The Daily Beast that, “to William, continuing to run the monarchy as though it were still an Edwardian institution feels absurd. To Charles, his son’s more casual approach can feel like a lack of respect for duty and tradition.”

Then there’s the Prince Harry reunion, something Prince William was reportedly not on board with. King Charles chose to do it anyway.

All signs that the relationship might, at the very least, need some work. But considering the two are willing to appear together, it might not be as bad as some say.

  • Prince William Walking Around the TARDIS Set Is a Nice Reminder That ‘Doctor Who’ Is Not Dead Yet

    [ad_1]

Doctor Who‘s peculiar limbo is going to stick around for a good while yet, it seems, as no one is too keen to definitively put a point to the show’s future beyond a general, hopeful desire that one day it will return. That’s meant that ever since the show’s bizarro mess of a season finale earlier this year, Doctor Who fans have been left clinging to scraps to indicate that the show is not staring down the Dalek raygun barrel of total extermination. The latest scrap? His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales.

Well, mostly the set he’s standing on. But Prince William was at least the avenue to remind us that that set—a very important one indeed at that, the latest TARDIS console room—is still ready and available for filming.

Radio Times reports that Prince William recently visited Bad Wolf Studios in Cardiff, where Doctor Who has been filmed in recent years, in his capacity as the president of the British Academy of Television and Film Arts, a position the Prince of Wales has held since 2010. Pictures of the royal visit were released today, along with the news that Prince William recorded a message at the studio that was released during tonight’s BAFTA Cymru Awards ceremony (where Who showrunner Russell T Davies accepted an award for Outstanding Contribution to Television), promoting the local film and television industry in Wales… which of course included British royalty stepping inside the TARDIS.

Putting aside Doctor Who‘s own storied history with the royal family—including that time the show nearly dropped a Titanic-shaped starship on top of Buckingham Palace (and then actually did, in an alternate timeline)—the news here is mostly heartening to fans still waiting to hear more definitive news about the show’s future, with the BBC and Disney alike remaining vaguely noncommittal but hopeful about an eventual return to adventures in time and space. And that news is that simply the TARDIS set itself, one of the most important standing sets of the series, is, well, still standing.

There had been some errant rumors that the set could be potentially broken down—i.e., dismantling the set entirely to open up the occupied studio space for other sets—if Doctor Who wasn’t planning a return any time soon (or at all). But the fact that the set has at least been maintained, even if only for the occasional visit, does at least indicate Doctor Who‘s on-screen future isn’t totally done and dusted. It leaves fans in pretty much the same place they’ve been since the broadcast of “The Reality War”—eying a 2027 return at the earliest, decreasing in likeliness the longer it goes without the BBC making any announcement—but a glimmer of hope is better than no hope at all.

  • Supernanny on Prince William and Princess Kate’s ‘hopeful future’ with George, Charlotte, and Louis

    [ad_1]

The Prince and Princess of Wales are proud parents of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, raising them privately while allowing for appearances as a family of five as part of their service of the public. The small insights into how William and Kate, both 43, are raising their children with their shows of affection in public offer an indication of what goes on behind closed doors, and parenting expert and star of Supernanny, Jo Frost, is encouraged by what she sees.

“Parenting is no easy task, and when lived under the world’s gaze, the challenge magnifies tenfold. Yet in Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, I see not only future monarchs but devoted parents whose grounded approach provides reassurance for their family and inspiration for others,” Jo, 55, has said in a new comment on the royal couple.

Supernanny Jo Frost says Prince William and Princess Kate have a grounded parenting approach

“William and Catherine are more than partners in duty; they are parents in vision with complementary strengths. William carries the weight of history and responsibility but also the empathy of a man shaped by loss and scrutiny, wanting to get it right for his children,” she added. “He places emotional safety and stability at the heart of his parenting. Catherine pairs this with calm, centered, hands-on practicality. Her championing of early childhood development echoes my own mission, deeply personal and reflective of her home life.”

William and Kate’s teamwork in parenting

Jo went on to say that William and Kate embody a strength that balances one another and creates harmony and structure for their three children. “Despite their titles and difficulties of late, they remain grounded in everyday life, intentional in giving George, Charlotte, and Louis as normal a childhood as possible,” she said. “School runs, outdoor adventures, family routines, and their choice to keep their children off screens and social media remind their little ones that beyond the royal stage, they belong to a family rooted in love.”

The parenting expert also said that the royal couple reminds those raising a young brood that children don’t need perfect parents. “They need presence. William and Catherine understand this. Their grounded approach speaks volumes,” Jo reflected. “Their parenting is not about privilege but responsibility. Their children learn that true leadership lies in service, kindness, and contribution.

“They model a life where titles matter less than integrity and where legacy is built not only through position but through compassion. The royal parents are indeed a dynamic duo, and in their hands, the future feels steady, compassionate, and hopeful, one full of promise for our young ones who will see them lead one day.”

The royal family member appeared as a guest on The Reluctant Traveler, where he gave a rare insight about life with his family and the future of the monarchy. “There are lots of things to think about with that,” William said on the show, “But obviously, I want to create a world in which my son is proud of what we do, a world and a job that actually does impact people’s lives for the better.”

In order for William to make that change, it means learning from past mistakes. “That is caveated with, I hope we don’t go back to some of the practices in the past, that Harry and I had to grow up in,” he added, “and I’ll do everything I can to make sure we don’t regress in that situation.”

After the appearance, a source told Radar Online that it’s a lucrative move for the Prince of Wales. “This is not just a one-off,” they said. “William has realized lifestyle content is a money-spinner and a powerful way of reaching audiences outside the traditional royal bubble.”

“He sees the value in opening up, but doing so in a way that feels polished and aspirational. It’s very clear this is a first step into a wider strategy.”

Another source added: “He could have spoken to a British broadcaster, but choosing Levy on a global streaming platform was deliberate. William wants to dip into the lifestyle space without looking like he’s copying anyone too directly – but the message is clear, he’s ready to play the game.”

One royal insider said that the Prince of Wales wants more of a hands-on-approach with the “William understands he can’t stay on the sidelines of modern media. Lifestyle content is a form of influence, and he intends to harness it.

“For him, it’s about shaping the story on his own terms and presenting himself as both approachable and globally relevant.”

However, Meghan Markle, who has their own successful lifestyle series called With Love, Meghan is reportedly pretty “livid” about the situation. A source told the gossip site, “Meghan sees this as revenge. She has just launched new lifestyle content with Netflix, and suddenly William is on Apple TV+ talking about his personal journey.”

“She is raging that his interview with Eugene Levy has been received more warmly than anything she’s produced so far. It feels like he’s trying to outshine her at her own game.”

However, Meghan’s show didn’t quite break the Top 10 on the streamer, but Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos calls the Duchess’ business move a success. Sarandos said, “One thing we learned early with Meghan… she has remarkable influence—remarkable. So when we did the documentary on her and Harry, the trailer, when we ran the trailer announcing it, people… hundreds of people… broke down every frame of the trailer.”

  • William Just Gave a Rare Comment About Harry After Reports He ‘F—ing Hates’ His Brother: ‘I’ll Do Everything I Can… ‘

    [ad_1]

With every new report about the relationship between King Charles and Prince Harry, there’s an underlying question: What about William? The King and his youngest son recently met, and though the meeting was reportedly positive, there have been suggestions of sabotage from Harry’s camp in regards to how some information has leaked. But amid all of this, very little has been said about Prince William and the possibility that he might reconcile with his brother.

However, as with most siblings, it’s hard to separate your life and your experiences from those of the person you grew up with. That much was made clear by Prince William’s appearance in Eugene Levy’s new Apple TV+ series, “The Reluctant Traveler.” During the episode, William discussed the fact that his son, Prince George, will eventually be king with Levy.

“There are lots of things to think about with that,” William said, “But obviously, I want to create a world in which my son is proud of what we do, a world and a job that actually does impact people’s lives for the better.” The Prince of Wales has reportedly made a concerted effort when it comes to his children to go against tradition in small but important ways, like the school they attend, and has talked openly about modernizing the monarchy.

For William, that means learning from past mistakes. “That is caveated with, I hope we don’t go back to some of the practices in the past, that Harry and I had to grow up in,” he added, “and I’ll do everything I can to make sure we don’t regress in that situation.”

It was a rare mention of his brother and their upbringing for William, who has seemingly not had much contact with Harry since he and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior royals and moved to the United States. The last time the two were even photographed together was at their grandmother’s funeral in 2022.

Harry’s relationship with his father, King Charles, was also strained until very recently, when the two had a meeting that has been considered by some as a good first step for reconciliation, not just for father and son, but for the whole family. However, whether that ever includes William or not might depend on whether his feelings about his brother have actually changed.

The Daily Beast reported earlier this year that, according to a friend of William, “He absolutely f—ing hates” his brother Harry, with the same source adding that, “William will never, ever forgive Harry for what he has done. Charles is the king; he can do what he likes. But make no mistake: William believes with every fiber of his being that giving Harry and Meghan back any royal imprimatur is a huge mistake.”

One thing seems clear: the good memories of the time spent with his brother, Prince Harry, and the closeness they shared are still very much present for Prince William. Whether that means they can now fix their relationship or not remains to be seen.

  • Prince William on the “Hardest Year” of His Life, Reassuring His Children After Kate Middleton’s Cancer Diagnosis, and Charles and Diana’s Divorce

Clearly hands-on as a father, William described how his work day, which is not a typical 9-to-5, is scheduled around his family life as much as possible.

“I do try and stick to school timetables as best as possible. So, most days we’re in and out of school doing pickups and drop-offs. Getting the balance of work and family life right is really important. Because for me, the most important thing in my life is family, and everything is about the future and about if you don’t start the children off now with a happy, healthy, stable home, I feel you’re setting them up for a bit of a hard time and a fall. And so, it’s about making sure that we can look after our families, look after our children, in a way that is best for their future.”

When speaking about his family’s privacy, William noted the struggles he faced during his own childhood, when the press speculated about every element of his parents’ lives, marriage, and breakup. “If you’re not careful, you can intrude so much into someone’s life that actually you start unpicking everything. And growing up, I saw that with my parents. The media were so insatiable back then—it’s hard to think of it now, but they were much more insatiable. They wanted every bit of detail they could absorb, and they were in everything, literally everywhere. They would know things, they’d be everywhere,” he said. “And if you let that creep in, the damage it can do to your family life is something that I vowed would never happen to my family. And so, I take a very strong line about where I think that line is, and those who overstep it, you know, I’ll fight against.”
