Once upon a time, it was Prince William who created scenes of collective hysteria among young girls. Today, since it’s still early days for little Prince George to inherit the title, Gen-Zers needn’t fear: There’s a Prince Charming for you, and his name is Albert Windsor.
If you don’t know him and you’re under 25, note this name: he’s the only royal to have been included by Tatler, the English high society magazine, in the list of the most eligible bachelors who will be increasingly discussed in the coming months.
With a melancholy yet captivating look and short blond hair, Albert Windsor is only 18 but shows great promise. The cousin of King Charles and grandson of the Duke of Kent, from whom he will one day inherit the title, he is the first royal to bear the name of Prince Albert, known as Bertie, who later became George VI, father of Elizabeth II. Furthermore, Albert was the first royal baby in the modern era to be baptized in a Catholic rite.
His father, Lord Nicholas, converted to Catholicism and was forced to renounce his position in the line of succession to the throne, thus also excluding Albert, who would have been 37th in line. The boy grew up in Rome with his two younger brothers, Leopold, now 16 (and who, like his brother, already shows signs of being a potential heartthrob), and Louis, 11.
The fact that he was away from the United Kingdom for much of his childhood meant that he was rarely seen in public. Since turning 18, Albert seems to have become more active in society. Unlike his father, who is not on good terms with the royal family and was reportedly not even invited to King Charles’s coronation ceremony, the boy is viewed favorably by the monarchy.
At the funeral of his grandmother, Katharine, Duchess of Kent—held at Westminster Cathedral in London—the young man was reportedly close to William, Kate, and Charles himself, godfather at his father Nicholas’s christening. So, watch out for this newly minted blue-blooded eligible bachelor.

Fortunately, it seems that the Prince of Wales’ aunt is in high spirits despite her fall, with Earl Spencer joking that she had been a “handful” for her doctors to deal with. “I think, [she] was quite a handful as a patient, because the said doctor said to my brother-in-law, ‘She’s quite a character isn’t she?’ which I think is code for, ‘Could you take her home?’”he revealed, referring to Lady Sarah’s husband, Neil McCorquodale.
Like the rest of the Spencer clan, Lady Sarah McCorquodale has long been a source of great comfort and support for Prince William, as well as for Prince Harry in the wake of his feud with the Windsors. Last September, she supported the Prince of Wales during a visit to his old RAF training ground in Cranwell, Lincolnshire. Lady Sarah had reportedly heard that her nephew was in the area and was keen to show her “support” for William, reported MailOnline’s Rebecca English. She also joined the royal family, including King Charles, Queen Camilla, and the Princess of Wales, to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day in May.
Born in 1955, Sarah was the first child of John Spencer and Frances Roche. Her sister, Jane, was born two years later, followed by John – who tragically died within 10 hours of his birth in 1960 – then Diana and, finally, Charles, who would go on to become the 9th Earl Spencer. The siblings were raised at Park House, a rented home on the Sandringham estate, and it’s said that Diana played together with Princes Andrew and Edward, who were close to her in age.
Her auspicious meet-cute with Prince Charles came in 1977, when they were introduced at the annual Royal Ascot house party at Windsor. The two began dating soon after and, according to Tina Brown, former Vanity Fair editor-in-chief and author of The Diana Chronicles, Sarah enjoyed the Prince “squiring her around” and received “a flattering stream of invitations to Windsor and Balmoral.” In November that year, Sarah invited Charles to shoot at Althorp, which is when he first captured the heart of the then 16-year-old Diana–although, according to Brown, she registered then “on Charles’ radar only as a jolly and bouncy younger sister of Sarah.”

Prince William and Harry’s aunt Lady Sarah McCorquodale has been hospitalized. Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer revealed that their sister was involved in a horse accident in recent months.
“She’s still riding, and she’s had a really bad fall last month and has been in hospital for a long time,” Earl Spencer shared on the “Rosebud with Gyles Brandreth” podcast. “I think, [she] was quite a handful as a patient, because the lead doctor said to my brother-in-law, ‘She’s quite a character isn’t she?’ ” he said, referring to Sarah’s husband Neil McCorquodale. “Which I think is code for, ‘Could you take her home?’”
Lady Sarah was close to Diana’s children as she and her brother attended the unveiling of Diana’s statue at Kensington Palace. She also attended the christening of Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Prince Archie.
Elsewhere in the podcast, Earl Spencer said it was “quite difficult” when “total strangers” come up to him and talk about where they were when Princess Diana died. “I’m sure that’s helpful to them, it’s not entirely helpful to everyone else,” he admitted.
The new update comes after King Charles is reportedly “physically sick with worry” over Prince Andrew’s latest scandal, and there’s concern that his cancer treatment has left him “too frail” to deal with this new crisis, with sources saying: “It’s going to kill him.”
The former Duke of York “The King is utterly worn down by it. Just when he thinks the matter has settled, another revelation surfaces. It’s placing enormous strain on him. He’s doing his best to focus on his recovery and royal work, but the constant stress is really affecting his health,” a source told the outlet.
Reportedly, there’s even worry that things with Andrew could get worse. “The King feels boxed in – he can’t simply cut his brother off, yet Andrew’s behavior keeps casting a shadow over everything he’s trying to restore within the monarchy.”
Recently, royal insider Camilla Tominey reported that King Charles’ cancer is incurable. “The talk now is that he may die ‘with’ cancer, but not ‘of’ cancer following a rigorous treatment program,” she said in The Telegraph.

Prince Harry and Prince William‘s aunt, Lady Sarah McCorquodale, has been injured after suffering from a fall. Lady Sarah, 70, who is the older sister of Princess Diana, is said to be recovering from a “really bad fall” she sustained in September. The news was revealed by her brother, Earl Charles Spencer, who recently appeared on Gyles Brandreth’s Rosebud podcast.
Speaking about his older sister, who once dated the then-Prince Charles, he said: “Sarah, who is nearly a decade older than me, who was always in trouble, she’s quite punchy. She’s still riding, and she’s had a really bad fall in the last month and has been in hospital for a long time.”
Despite her fall, Charles joked that his older sister has been a “handful” for her doctors to deal with. “I think, [she] was quite a handful as a patient, because the said doctor said to my brother-in-law, ‘She’s quite a character, isn’t she?’ which I think is code for, ‘Could you take her home?’”, he joked, referring to Lady Sarah’s husband of 45 years, Neil McCorquodale.
Lady Sarah McCorquodale is known for being the older sister of the late Princess Diana and for her brief dating history with the then-Prince Charles. She’s the oldest of the four Spencer children, followed by Lady Jane Fellowes, the late Princess Diana and Earl Charles Spencer. While Lady Sarah doesn’t spend much time in the royal spotlight, over the years, she has shown her support for both of her royal nephews, Prince Harry and Prince William, and attended both of their weddings.
Before Princess Diana met the then-Prince Charles, her older sister briefly dated her future husband. Sarah and Charles were introduced at the annual Royal Ascot party in 1977 when Sarah was 22 and he was 28. Sarah Bradford wrote in Diana: Finally, the Complete Story about the pair’s initial attraction: “Prince Charles enjoyed Sarah’s sparkiness and irreverent wit and they made each other laugh.”
However, the relationship would only be short-lived after she gave an interview to her two journalist friends: Nigel Nelson and James Whittaker. In the interview given to The Sunday People in 2013, Sarah reportedly said to James: “She declared she would not marry Charles if he were the dustman or the King of England. That was good news from where I was sitting, and Sarah seemed delighted I was so keen to share it with the nation.”
Sarah went on to set up her younger sister, the late Princess Diana, with Charles. Lady Sarah married writer Neil Edmund McCorquodale on 17 May 1980 – the same year Charles started dating Diana. They had three children together called Emily, George, and Ceila.

Sometimes royalty is about keeping appearances. That means that, even though some members of the British royal family might not have been too pleased with Prince Andrew’s presence, as long as the King didn’t make a determination on his brother, they all had to grin and bear it. Now, however, with Andrew being pressured to give up his title and honors, there are new reports about how other members of the family feel about him.
This is especially true of Prince William, who will one day be King. British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard told Fox News Digital that Prince William and Kate Middleton are enforcing a “zero-tolerance” approach within the monarchy that extends primarily to Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.

“Prince William, in particular, is not satisfied with how the Prince Andrew situation has been handled at the moment,” Chard told the outlet. “He is looking into the future with a solution-focused lens. He is far more ruthless than his father. He always takes the harder line. He can see reputational damage escalating for the royal family and is reviewing a decisive way forward to combat further scandals.”
“He realizes it’s harder for the king to deal with his brother than it will be for him to deal with his uncle in due course,” said Chard. “However, he feels his father has teetered too long with the kid gloves approach. Prince William and the whole royal family are fully supportive of King Charles taking a stronger stance against his brother. William would prefer a swift, clean break with Prince Andrew before things decline further. He also hopes to shield the king from the damage.”
This all comes after reports from RadarOnline.com that the King would love for his brother to “just disappear” from public life because he has “humiliated the family.” The source added, “Charles has had enough. He’s at the end of his rope. His words about Andrew were, ‘Oh, just p— off,’ which tells you everything about where things stand. He sighed and looked absolutely exhausted. He wants Andrew to stop hiding behind his remaining titles and quietly remove himself from public life for good.”
William reportedly also wants his uncle to vacate his home of Royal Lodge, which is pretty close to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s new home of Forest Lodge. The Sun, however, reported that in order to do that, Andrew has “demanded” Frogmore Cottage, where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle used to live, for himself. He also wants his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, who lives with him at Royal Lodge, to be granted Adelaide Cottage, the home Prince William and Kate Middleton are about to move out of.
That is unlikely to go over well with Prince William, according to recent reports. And though right now, he doesn’t have the power to do anything, it might all lead to him making sure Andrew is truly banished once he’s the one in charge.

“The Princess of Wales is sending out an important message about how her style has evolved and why the trouser suit is now part of her fashion armor and a staple in her working wardrobe,” says Claudia Joseph, author of How to Dress Like a Princess: The Secret of Kate’s Wardrobe.
According to Joseph, Kate’s penchant for pantsuits dovetails with the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. “There’s been a notable change in what Kate has worn since the death of the late queen. Kate has always been careful to toe the line, wearing tights, for example, which would please the queen. She has always been properly dressed for the occasion, but we are seeing some subtle shifts with the trouser suits,” she says.
“We did see the queen in trousers, but only [on] a couple of occasions when she was on duty. Each generation adopts their own style, and the trouser suit has become an important part of the princess’s working wardrobe.
“Kate has gone up in the pecking order. She’s adopted a working wardrobe of suits. They are convenient, comfortable, and very practical.”

The relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry has been complicated, to say the least, ever since Prince Harry stepped back as a senior royal. Sure, Harry lives in the US now, but it’s not just the distance. Just as with his father, King Charles, there are reports that William and Harry are not speaking to each other these days. But after Harry’s recent meeting with his father, after over a year, is there now a possibility of reconciliation with William?
Reportedly, yes. RadarOnline.com is reporting that William has agreed to meet with Harry for the first time in nearly three years after pleas from both his father and his wife, Kate Middleton. But he’s got conditions, as he wants the meeting to be “behind closed doors, under lock and key.”
Related: Here’s what each royal inherited from Queen Elizabeth
A royal insider told the outlet, “William’s willing to meet Harry, but only if everything happens strictly on his terms. That means no Meghan, no aides, and zero chance of it ending up as content for a documentary or book. He’s deeply wary of being secretly recorded or having his words twisted – the trust between them is completely gone. Harry will basically face being frisked before they talk.”
Reports indicate that William’s desire to have control over the meeting is tied to Prince Harry’s comments last month about his meeting with King Charles. Details of the meeting emerged after a few days, after which Harry accused palace aides of trying to “sabotage” his reconciliation with his father.
“William’s terrified that whatever he says could be twisted and made public. He’s not willing to risk being burned again. If Harry wants to talk, it has to stay completely private – no recordings, no pictures, and no version of events spun for publicity.”
The brothers have been distanced since the publication of Harry’s 2023 memoir, Spare. Prince Harry has made no secret of his desire for reconciliation lately, and a friend of William claims he actually feels the same. “He’s not heartless – part of him really misses how things used to be, the jokes, the closeness. But too much has happened, and he doubts they can ever truly rebuild that trust. He wants some kind of peace, but not if it means setting himself up to be hurt again.”
However, the source indicates both King Charles and Kate Middleton have been pushing for a reconciliation. “Kate often tells him that their mother would be devastated to see them like this. She keeps urging him to rise above it and take the first step. Charles, on the other hand, just wants peace – he’s longing for the day his sons can be in the same room without it turning into a showdown.”
William recently mentioned his brother in public as he spoke to Eugene Levy for his series, The Reluctant Traveler. And the National Examiner confirms the mention was an “an olive branch.” Not just that, they say William is “finally coming around to the idea of truce talks.”
“There’s only so much resistance he can put up against his own wife and father, who are telling him in no uncertain terms that enough is enough and it’s high time for peace,” the insider added.
A Christmas reconciliation between the brothers? It doesn’t sound so far-fetched anymore.

The number one question people have asked after this recent Prince Andrew drama and proof of how far Prince William is willing to go to maintain the monarchy’s good image is, will he stop there? His feud with his younger brother, Prince Harry, seems alive and well despite the fact that Harry has taken steps towards reconciling with their father, King Charles. So, what could William do next?
Royal insider Tom Syke says William has big plans to streamline the monarchy. “Prince William will strip Prince Andrew, along with all other non-working royals, of their HRHs and princely titles when he ascends to the throne, friends and allies of the Prince have (said),” he wrote in The Daily Beast. “The dramatic change will be effected by an executive royal order known as ‘letters patent’ ratified by Parliament in the early weeks of the reign of King William V,” he explained.
Related: Here’s what each royal inherited from Queen Elizabeth
“It will remove princely titles not just from Andrew but also from Beatrice, Eugenie, Harry, Archie, and Lilibet.” The children of Prince Edward and Princess Anne have never used any titles that need to be stripped.
A source even said that Prince William’s old children may have their titles informally “parked” until they become adults and decide if they want to be full-time working royals or not. The three are reportedly never addressed by their titles anyway.
William is said to not be happy with the announcement made by Prince Andrew that he would stop using his title and honors, as he wanted the title of prince removed too. Someone on William’s camp told the Daily Beast: “On Wednesday, the king’s office was saying that removing the dukedom would be a completely lame and ineffectual gesture unless you took away the prince title as well. On Friday, it’s suddenly the other way round, and persuading him to drop the duke title, without even taking it away, is being held up as a triumph of the king’s steely will. His operation is a mess.”
Another source close to William added, “It should have been done by Charles this week, but William knows he doesn’t have the strength because of his illness. William is understanding of his father’s situation. William won’t be afraid to take the next step.”
In fact, The Daily Beast had previously reported that according to a friend of William, “He absolutely f***ing hates” his brother Harry. That same source also added that, “William will never, ever forgive Harry for what he has done. Charles is the king; he can do what he likes. But make no mistake: William believes with every fiber of his being that giving Harry and Meghan back any royal imprimatur is a huge mistake.”
Whether that translates to stripping him and his kids of their titles, or Prince William is doing this because he really wants only those people who are working as royals to continue to carry the title, we will have to wait and see. A reconciliation with his brother might still be possible, title or not.

Prince Andrew has agreed to give up his royal titles to save the royal family from further embarrassment over his connections with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Though he took a “step back” from his role as a senior royal in November 2019, he has continued to use the “Duke of York” title that was conferred by Queen Elizabeth II on his wedding day in 1986.
The prince shared the news in a statement issued through Buckingham Palace on Friday, adding that he consulted King Charles III in the course of making his decision. “I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life,” it read. “With His Majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me.”
Though his accuser, Virginia Giuffre, died by suicide earlier this year, her allegations have resurfaced in a memoir that is due to be published on October 21. In his statement, Andrew continued to deny all claims of impropriety. “As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me,” the statement read. “In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family. I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first.”
It is understood that the prince agreed to give up his remaining royal titles amid mounting pressure over his links with Epstein and an alleged Chinese spy. The king, who has been at a loss over how to deal with what is known as the “Andrew problem” at the palace, is said to be “glad” about the outcome.
Along with other members of the royal family, Prince William, who has privately been concerned about the optics of Prince Andrew retaining his titles and being seen as close to the royal family, was consulted.
Sources say the decision for Andrew to give up his titles was taken in close deliberation with the king and in recognition of the fact that the prince’s personal issues continue to distract from the work of the wider royal family. It is understood that the king appealed to Prince Andrew, who still lives at Royal Lodge on the Windsor Estate, to do the right thing and give up his titles in order to preserve the reputation of the monarchy.
