Hailey Bieber Just Endorsed Emi Jay's “Angelstick” for an A+ Slicked-Back Bun

    [ad_1]

Here it is—the Angelstick Hair Smoothing Balm. It’s the first hairstyling product from the brand and is formulated to glide easily over the hair, smoothing texture and fly-aways. So, basically, it’s the perfect product one-and-done product to achieve a slicked-back look.

The best part is that it’s actually beneficial to the hair, unlike so many other styling products on the market. The formula contains hair-strengthening ingredients like castor seed oil, sunflower seed wax, murmuru butter, and vitamin E. Glide it over your hair, and not only will it style it, but it will moisturize and protect it too.

Leave it to Hailey Bieber to inspire us to buy yet another beauty product…

  • Hailey Bieber Already Wore the 2024 Trend We're Putting Big Money On

Hailey Bieber Already Wore the 2024 Trend We're Putting Big Money On

    [ad_1]

Anyone who’s visited Hailey Bieber’s Instagram feed during Halloween knows that the model and entrepreneur loves a good holiday, especially when it means dressing to a theme. And now that we’ve entered into December territory, it appears that her outfits have switched over to another holiday. “Christmas glitter,” she captioned an IG slideshow on Sunday, showcasing one of the chicest festive looks of the year thus far.

To celebrate the holiday season’s arrival, Bieber chose a long-sleeved minidress made of bone-colored satin from Khaite, which was paired with matching sparkly tights, a Prada top-handle bag, Balenciaga pumps, and a black velvet hair bow from Emi Jay. But while her accessories certainly finished off the look, her dress was no doubt the star of the show, especially given how on-trend satin is at the moment. After a buzzy showing on the spring/summer 2024 runways at Tory Burch, Altuzarra, Carven, Louis Vuitton, and more, the luxurious material was destined to become a major deal in the year ahead. Now that Bieber’s gone and stamped it with a Rhode Raspberry Jelly Peptide Lip Tinted kiss, any last doubts there were about the trend’s popularity in 2024 were squashed for good.

Below, check out Bieber’s on-trend holiday ‘fit and shop the fabric everyone will be talking about and wearing post NYE.

From Taylor Swift to Laura Harrier, the Under-$150 Buys Celebs Are All Wearing

    [ad_1]

When celebrities choose to wear an affordable item, we tend to take notice. Seeing as Hollywood has access to the very best in everything (the best facialists, manicurists, and of course, stylists), it should come as no surprise that the wardrobe’s of the A-list would be equally as exclusive. And for the most part, they are. Celebs make headlines for wearing the latest designer It bag and those designers also clamor to have famous faces wear their collections. In other words, most celebs have their pick of luxury labels, but they love an affordable fashion find just like us because, well, sometimes the cheaper option really is the best.

Recently we’ve noticed some of the best-dressed stars in wallet-friendly pieces, so we figured it was worth sharing. From the $10 tights Taylor Swift wore all over NYC to the sneakers Jennifer Lawrence just stepped out in that could be the next It pair, these are the under-$150 items celebrities are prioritizing right now.

  • Hailey Bieber Wore the Knee-Boot Trend That's Replaced Basic Block Heel Ones

Hailey Bieber Wore the Knee-Boot Trend That's Replaced Basic Block Heel Ones

    [ad_1]

While some shoe trends are major and in a category all their own (Mary Janes, for example), others are more subtle and specific. The ones I’m here to discuss today fall into the latter category. For quite some time now, most of the heeled knee boots you’d encounter featured a block heel and a round or square too, but Hailey Bieber just confirmed that there’s a new knee boot trend circulating, and it’s far fancier.

While out and about in L.A. one night this week, Bieber wore a sweater as a dress with a pair of pointed-toe stiletto-heel knee boots. While their more casual block-heel counterparts aren’t “out”, per se, the style that Bieber wore feels fresher right now. And you can’t go wrong investing in a pair, as boot trends tend to stick around for awhile. Keep scrolling to shop a few pairs of stunning stiletto knee boots you’ll want to wear for years.

We’d typically do our makeup to resemble a golden goddess, especially when the sun isn’t out a whole lot in the winter, but everyone is hooked on the “sunburn blush” or “faux sunburn” trend. It’s blush overload but in the cutest way possible. We saw a little bit of the blush all-over look when e-girls were at their peak. However, the current sunburn blush trend is a little wetter, if you will. It’s flushed and dewy at the same time.

Celebs like Hailey Bieber have hopped on board and showed us exactly how it’s done, and we found a creamy blush that melts right into your skin and creates a beautiful and natural glow. Merit Beauty’s Flush Balm isn’t the kind of blush that completely covers up your complexion. It adds a sun-kissed tint to your cheeks so that your skin and freckles can still poke through. The result is a soft all-day glow that doesn’t look or feel cakey. The product already got an upgrade with new gold packaging, and now the Hailey Bieber-approved formula comes in four new shades.

Say hello to Fox (warm taupe), Persimmon (soft orange-red), Stockholm (baby pink), and Apres (berry). I have always been a Raspberry Beret stan (celeb makeup artist Leah Darcy has used this exact shade on her), but think it might be time to convert to Fox or Apres. Who doesn’t love a pop of deep red or berry on their cheeks? Stockholm and Persimmon, however, look like the perfect shades for spring and summer since they’re soft and bright.

If you’re already drooling over these shades and swatches, you’re in luck. Merit Beauty’s Black Friday sale is letting you take 20 percent off of the entire site. That means you can cop a Flush Balm for $24 instead of $30 before the sale ends on November 26.

“I really like the round shape because it fits my cheeks very precisely. The color payoff is very nice because it’s quite pigmented but not over the top so it’s easy to build up for that beautiful flushed cheek look,” wrote one five-star reviewer. “It blends evenly and compliments my complexion.”

When trying to create the faux sunburn makeup look, you should reach for balms because this format is oftentimes easier to control, build, and blend. It looks much more natural and effortless and tends to take up less time, too (you can just use your fingers!). For the most stunning sun-kissed glow, try one of my personal faves, the Flush Balm. I have a feeling you’ll be applying it all year long.

And don’t forget, Merit Beauty sends a complimentary Signature Bag with every first order (and free shipping on orders of $40 or more).

Merit Beauty carries the exact shades you need to achieve the sunburn blush look. Their O.G. shades include Terracotta, which many reviewers like to use as a blush and contour, as well as Mood, a light burgundy. There’s also Beverly Hills, a soft peach, and Cheeky, a cool pink. To get the most full-on faux sunburn look, opt for Raspberry Beret since it’s a deep berry tone. Regardless of which shade you go with, you’ll be sure to look fabulously flushed just like all your fave TikTokers and Instagram cool girls.

A while back, Merit Beauty sent me Flush Balm to try and I am honestly a huge fan. I typically stray away from blushes because I think they’ll be too pigmented and make me look like a clown. However, I’ve been applying Merit Beauty’s blush and it truly does make all the difference. I get a nice, dewy glow on my cheeks that completes my overall makeup look. And I’m not even close to the only one who loves this blush.

“I just did not expect this blush to be this GOOD! I get the hype now. I like it so, so much that I want it in every single shade now!” raved one shopper. “It has such a nice slip to it. Glides effortlessly on skin and feels like nothing at all. I’m so so obsessed with this blush. It’s pigmented just enough to give that beautiful flush of color to your cheeks. The color looks so natural on my medium skin tone. I’m obsessed if I didn’t say that already!”

Merit Beauty Flush Balm in Terracotta
    Photo: Merit Beauty.

Another shopper found multiple uses in the Terracotta shade. “I adore the shade Terracotta. It’s the perfect 2-in-1 blush and bronzer shade for an easy sun-kissed wash of color. Blends super easily and smoothly. Color is sheer but can be built up easily,” they wrote.

I’ll stop rambling about the amazing Flush Balm and let you start shopping. It’s down to $24 at Merit Beauty and will help you achieve the sunburn blush makeup trend with just a couple of swipes across your cheeks and nose.

  • I Hate Eyeshadow, But I Actually Like These New, Sarah Jessica Parker-Approved Ones

I Hate Eyeshadow, But I Actually Like These New, Sarah Jessica Parker-Approved Ones

    [ad_1]

All products and services featured are independently chosen by editors. However, StyleCaster may receive a commission on orders placed through its retail links, and the retailer may receive certain auditable data for accounting purposes.

It’s time I let the cat out of the bag—I don’t like eyeshadow. While I don’t wear a ton of makeup in general, I especially don’t opt for a lot of eye makeup. Perhaps it’s because it takes me forever to do and I end up hating the final result, or perhaps it’s due to my poor dexterity. But you know what? I’m realizing it might not be a “me” problem.

After trying Merit Beauty’s new Solo Shadow (which Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Hudson, and Bethenny Frankel have already worn), I’ve come to the conclusion that I simply wasn’t using the right products. Because even though I tell all of my friends I hate eyeshadow, I actually am a fan of this formula.

The fact that it’s so easy to use makes it perfect for beginners like me who barely know the basics of how to apply eyeshadow. The Solo Shadow is literally foolproof, which was a major shock to me because I always find a way to paint on a clown face or raccoon eyes whenever I get within a foot of an eyeshadow palette.

And that’s the other thing! Merit’s eyeshadow comes in single-product packaging so you can really handpick the colors you think will work for you. Gone are the days of buying an entire palette only to dip into the same two shades time after time. There’s a lot less waste with these individual pots, but there’s also a lot less going back and forth trying to pick a shade.

You’ve come to this story at the perfect time because Merit Beauty’s Black Friday sale just started. Through November 26, take 20 percent off of everything on the site (excluding some gift sets, but not our collab!).

The Solo Shadow comes in eight stunning shades that won’t scare away eyeshadow amateurs. They’re all neutral tones and muted colors, which is a dream for all of my fellow makeup minimalists. Even the “statement” shades are doable. In fact, I swiped the color Social onto my lids without even realizing it’s technically a soft mauve hue.

My go-to pairing has been Social, the soft mauve, and Midcentury, a warm brown. This was the duo I randomly chose on my first test of the product, which goes to show that again, there’s no messing up with these eyeshadows. Wear a single shade on your lids, or mix and match without worrying about whether the colors look good together—because they just do!

Merit Beauty Solo Shadow in Social
    Merit Beauty.

The two shades I’m most excited to try are Nelson, a soft gray, and Midnight, a classic navy. I’m thinking of using them as liners for a soft flick, which, by the way, can be achieved with the dual-ended eyeshadow brush Merit Beauty launched alongside the Solo Shadow. Brush No.2 helped my eyeshadow apply so seamlessly. The bristles are extremely soft and gentle (just like the ones on Brush No.1), plus the tapered end is perfect for creating a winged liner look.

But let’s talk about the eyeshadow formula. The Solo Shadow is a buildable cream-to-powder moment that offers a soft-matte finish. And when I say this shadow doesn’t budge, I mean it. I have the world’s oiliest eyelids and have struggled with previous formulas creasing. Merit’s new eyeshadows have not creased on me yet, nor do they make a mess around my eyes and on my cheeks. Wherever you apply the product is where it’ll dry quickly and stay in place throughout the day.

I can’t forget to mention the amazing skincare ingredients packed into these gems. Chamomile extract, calendula extract, magnolia bark extract, peptides, and sunflower seed oil make this formula one your skin with love. These ingredients soothe, smooth, nourish, and minimize the look of fine lines. Crusty eye makeup, no more!

And if you’re a contact lens girlie like me, don’t worry about the shadows potentially causing irritation. I have yet to experience any discomfort from this ophthalmologist-tested formula.

At this point, I’m sure you’re tired of hearing me babble on and on about the new Solo Shadow from my all-time favorite makeup brand, Merit Beauty (which celebs like Hailey Bieber, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cameron Diaz, and more love, too). So go on, add a couple of the versatile shades to your cart for a discounted price (also available at Sephora). And while you have a shopping cart open, you might as well throw in a few of my other Merit faves. Remember that you get free shipping on your order of $40+ plus a complimentary Signature Bag with your first order. So go forth and treat yourself to all that Merit has to offer.

Hailey Bieber has previously worn the Flush Balm in Raspberry Beret and that was enough to convince me to try the shade. I can confirm that it’s beautiful, easy to apply, and super natural-looking. If you’ve been wanting to give the viral strawberry makeup a try, look no further than this blush.

The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Stick Merit Beauty

The Minimalist is what first got me hooked on Merit. The foundation and concealer stick offers the perfect amount of coverage and feels lightweight on the skin. I use my fingers to dab it over my blemishes on the daily, and whenever I’m going for a full face of foundation, Brush No.1 blends this foundation better than anything else I own.

Hailey Bieber just revealed ‘sugar plum fairy makeup’ as the biggest beauty trend for Christmas

    [ad_1]

It seems Hailey Bieber has an uncanny knack of revealing a viral beauty trend just in time for the festive season. Last year, it was candy cane glazed nails, a look that leant on the sheer ‘glazed donut’ nail for the base – with a stripe of candy red for the French tip. But for 2023, the model and entrepreneur has delivered a new wintery riff on her strawberry girl aesthetic – and it’s already tipped to be every cool girl’s go-to look for winter.

Hailey’s “Sugar Plum Fairy” makeup trend is exactly how it sounds: swathes of light-reflecting shimmer take centre stage on the eyes, lips and high points of the face, alongside pretty pink cheeks. It’s like the après ski version of strawberry girl that combines an icicle-like sheen with the type of flush you only get when you sit by the fire after a day on the slopes.

When GLAMOUR interviewed Hailey Bieber a few months ago about her first foray into makeup with Rhode, she reminisced about being a ballet dancer when she was younger. “I remember when I was a little kid at my first ballet recital, my mom gave me rosy cheeks and a little lip gloss so I think a lot about performance makeup when I think about makeup,” she told us.

Now in a TikTok video, Hailey has disclosed that “when I was 16 I was the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker…this is my 2023 version of that makeup. My go to vibe for the holiday season!”.

Against a musical backdrop of Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Hailey can be seen schooling her 11.4 million followers on how to get the look (although she doesn’t name specific products).

Hailey Bieber, Taylor Swift and Lucy Hale all rate Alo leggings – and so many pairs are in the sale

    [ad_1]

Getting snapped in an amazing off-duty look is practically a celebrity rite of passage — and for many, the best Alo leggings are the key to making a street-style look pop. Despite having their own distinct styles, Jennifer Lopez, Hailey Bieber, Gigi Hadid, and Taylor Swift have all rocked a pair on more than one occasion. But while Alo’s roster of celebrity fans seems to grow on the daily, the leggings are just as sought after by non-A-listers — and it’s not hard to see why.

Definitely on the more expensive side of athleisure, it’s totally understandable if you’ve been putting off taking the plunge and purchasing a pair of these premium leggings. But the good news is that, this Black Friday week, there’s 30% off sitewide — and up to 70% off certain sale styles. So, there’s never been a better time to invest in a pair of the best Alo Yoga leggings.

Best Alo Yoga leggings in the Black Friday 2023 sale:

Whether you wear them for exercising or binge-watching, Alo Yoga leggings are perfect for serving up cute loungewear looks. We’ve seen celebs pair theirs with statement-making outerwear, mini Uggs, white sneakers, and even crew socks and comfy walking sandals.

  • Hailey Bieber rocked a trouserless version of Rory Gilmore’s most iconic outfit

Hailey Bieber rocked a trouserless version of Rory Gilmore’s most iconic outfit

    [ad_1]

Hailey Bieber continues to take her style cues from Rory Gilmore this sweater season.

A month after styling a black turtleneck and plaid miniskirt with an oversized coffee cup that would make the Stars Hollow teen jealous, Bieber cemented herself as a Gilmore Girls stan by wearing the cosy cream jumper we all know and love. While the model’s massive crewneck is definitely made of a much softer knit than Rory’s famous fisherman sweater from the Y2K series’ pilot episode, the colour and oversized fit were spot on.

Of course, the 26-year-old put her own spin on the iconic look by swapping out Rory’s bootcut jeans for a pair of ultra thigh-high orange and black striped boots. Posted by Hailey on 17 November, the outfit can be seen on slide three of an Instagram photo dump documenting “the best 48 hours” with husband Justin Bieber and close friend Kendall Jenner.

    Instagram content

This content can also be viewed on the site it originates from.

Hailey Bieber topped off the daring ensemble with a pair of tiny oval sunglasses and gold earrings, keeping her hair pulled back into a claw clip with two face-framing strands left out. She also shared the full look on her Instagram story.

    Instagram/@haileybieber

Despite Rory Gilmore’s less-than-stellar reputation among Gilmore Girls fans, the fictional teen’s wardrobe has become more coveted than ever in 2023, likely thanks to the show’s surging popularity on TikTok. “Still hate her but girl has great sweaters,” one Instagram user commented on Glamour US’s recent post about “Rory Girlmore Fall”.

Perhaps Hailey Bieber, who has had plenty of first-hand experience with online haters, can relate.

Hailey Bieber Just Made Leggings Look Wildly Elegant Thanks to This Shoe Trend

    [ad_1]

When Hailey Bieber wears leggings (which is a bit rare these days), she usually goes for a pair from ALO for a Pilates class. She’s really more of a baggy-pants or miniskirt girl these days, so I was surprised to see that she wore a leggings-as-pants outfit this week in Los Angeles. It was a very chic legging outfit at that, and it was far from a post-workout look.

Bieber’s daytime look consisted of a pair of Wardrobe.NYC stirrup leggings, which she paired with a black mock-neck top and an oversize camel blazer. She finished off the outfit with an oversize Saint Laurent tote bag and gold ’80-inspired earrings, but it was the shoe trend she chose that really put the look in “elegant” territory. The shoe trend was kitten heel pumps (backless in this case) by Toteme, which looked especially cool with the stirrup leggings—so cool that I think I found my new favorite styling trick.

Hailey Bieber staged an epic Halloween costume this year, channeling Carmen Electra’s Drew Decker from the 2000 film “Scary Movie.” Wearing a white lace underwire bra and matching briefs, Bieber posed like Electra did in the unforgettable scene when she was running for her life, being chased through a garden by the movie’s villain. Bieber took to Instagram to share a series of images, captioning the post “SCARY MOVIE 👻👻👻‼️”

Within the carousel, Bieber recreated Electra’s “Scary Movie” look, wearing a white ribbed V-neck cardigan and holding a phone to her ear. Her makeup channels the lustrous trends of the retro decade, with her shoulder-length blond hair perfectly swept in toward her chin.

Though Bieber’s scantily-clad Halloween costume might have been a near-perfect representation of Electra’s early-aughts character, the bra and brief set actually work quite well for everyday wear. And Bieber has made it particularly easy to snag her look, as she tapped Victoria’s Secret to custom make her bright white set.

Bieber’s look is, for now, one-of-a-kind but shop a similar look from Victoria’s Secret, along with other beloved lingerie brands that allow you to steal this iconic style. Ahead, check out Hailey Bieber’s “Scary Movie” style, and shop the look for yourself to wear well after Halloween has come and gone.

  • Hailey Bieber Wore Overalls and Heels For an Iconic Date-Night Outfit

Hailey Bieber Wore Overalls and Heels For an Iconic Date-Night Outfit

    [ad_1]

No one had to search for how to wear overalls in the ’90s, when they somewhat defined the cultural zeitgeist with icons such as rapper Tupac, hip-hop artist Lauryn Hill, and R&B singer Aaliyah popularizing the trend. While the denim silhouette first gained momentum in the US during the 19th century as industrial workwear, it is today a fashion statement that has seen so many different iterations through the years. The ’70s gave way to overalls with flared legs or cropped and fitted versions that could be worn with nothing underneath. (See Olivia Wilde’s free-spirited, skin-baring moment ahead.) And today we’re seeing a nod back to the ’90s as street style stars opt for baggy pant legs and may even wear one, or both straps, completely undone. Call it a twist on the deconstructed-denim trend, but overalls are fast becoming yet another example of not-so-basic jeans.

Hailey Bieber recently stepped out in a pair of oversize Dickies — an iconic brand also approved by Kourtney Kardashian — that she spotlighted under her long duster coat for date night with husband Justin in Beverly Hills. By adding slick accents, such as dark, skinny sunglasses and a sharp, pointed-toe heel, she put her own stamp on the trend with ease. Meanwhile, there are plenty of ways to wear overalls through all seasons — be it in shorts form, corduroy dress form, or rugged and distressed — that cater to different tastes.

Now that overalls are trendy again, you may be at first hesitant to try them out, initially worried whether they appear flattering. But one scroll through our how-to guide, and you’ll feel well-versed in overalls, wearing them with lingerie to lounge around the house just as readily as you do for a night out finished with heels. Soon, you’ll be treating overalls like jeans — they’re easy to slip into, make for an effortless one-and-done outfit, and ridiculously chic.

  • Borrowed From the Boys: Hailey and Taylor Make the Case For Girls in Menswear

Borrowed From the Boys: Hailey and Taylor Make the Case For Girls in Menswear

    [ad_1]

Halloweekend came with its parade of stunning, spooky celebrity looks. But before the star-studded parties and the outrageous costumes, some major streetwear fits were thrown by some of our favorite style girlies. And, like we predicted for the fall, menswear is in for everyone — just ask Hailey Bieber and Taylor Swift.

First, Taylor — on the heels of her 1989 (Taylor’s Version) smash hit rerelease — has been making headlines for more than just her music and her new man. Just like in 2014, when Taylor Swift moved to New York and wrote the original 1989 album, the superstar was often spotted out in the city with her girl gang, living the Sex and the City dream.

Years later, the queen of New York is back. Paparazzi spot her every night dining with the likes of Sophie Turner and Blake Lively, and they also see her every day strutting through the West Village. Her most recent outfit made a case for two of the hottest seasonal trends: menswear and prep.

Taylor sported an oversized Stella McCartney rugby shirt as a mini dress, accessorized with a cool girl Ralph Lauren dad hat and an enviable pair of knee-high Prada boots (here’s the Steve Madden dupe). While Swift dressed up the rugby look, it’s a menswear fit that will go down in the fashion history books.

And if that wasn’t enough for my Pinterest boards, then the Biebers stepped out in a charming and disarming couple’s fit as they so often do. Justin wore a silky pair of argyle dress pants with an open dress shirt and tasseled Santoni loafers. He paired it with a leather jacket and sunglasses to add some rockstar edge to the uncharacteristically straight-laced look. But Hailey rocked the standout look of the night. For once, Hailey was the more casual of the two — and after he wore that sweatsuit while she donned a killer red mini, I never thought I’d see the day.

Hailey dressed for the weather in a long coat from celebrity-favorite brand, Khaite. For a lesser dresser, the coat would’ve been the standout piece — and Hailey has made headlines in the past few weeks for rocking men’s coats and statement jackets. But Hailey paired this piece with a surprising menswear choice: overalls.

The kind of piece you can find at any flea market, surplus store, or for $45 on Amazon, Hailey dressed up these Dickies denim overalls with heels and chic sunglasses to transform the daytime denim into an enviable date night stunner

In fact, denim and a long black coat is one of the hottest fall menswear trends — just ask Bradley Cooper (getting style tips from Gigi Hadid, perhaps?) and Jacob Elordi, who is on his fashion press tour for Priscilla andSaltburn.

So, if you had any doubts, let this be the proof that the borrowed-from-the-boys aesthetic is in for the fall. Inspired to take it for a spin? Here are some choice pieces to dress up for your next day out or date night.

  • Hailey Bieber Just Made Overalls and Heels the Next Going-Out Outfit Trend

Hailey Bieber Just Made Overalls and Heels the Next Going-Out Outfit Trend

    [ad_1]

When it comes to her night-out style, Hailey Bieber really knows how to mix things up. One night, she’ll be wearing a leather miniskirt and bra top and the next, well, overalls. But I’m not talking about any old outdated overalls outfit—I’m talking about a fashion overalls outfit.

I think we can all agree that overalls tend to get a bad rap. They can just be tricky to style and can look a bit costumey, but as Bieber just proved, they can also actually be chic. How, you ask? Let’s break it down. By pairing sophisticated pieces like a long black coat, pointed-toe heels, and a structured bag, Bieber turned the most polarizing denim item into a cool and sophisticated date night outfit.

I would absolutely wear this outfit but I don’t own overalls, so I found a few chic pairs for all of us that are in the same boat to shop.

According to Hailey Bieber’s Stylist, Espresso Fall Is a Legit Fashion Trend

As much as I like to indulge in at least one pumpkin-spice beverage per year—not when fall “officially” starts (aka September 23rd) but when you can actually feel it in your bones—I don’t particularly enjoy wearing the color. Some people can pull off burnt orange. I’m not one of them. Fortunately, Dani Michelle, the stylist behind Kendall Jenner, Bruna Marquezine, and Hailey Bieber’s lusted-over street style looks, has a new color on her mind for fall that’s both delicious visually as well as in taste.

“Espresso fall” was all that Michelle captioned on a street-style photo of Bieber heading into Kim Kardashian’s 43rd birthday party at Funke in Los Angeles. In the image, the model and Rhode founder can be seen wearing various shades of espresso, from a light-roast, suede Prada blazer from the F/W ’23 collection to a medium-roast, leather Zeynep Arçay miniskirt. On her feet are a pair of burgundy Gucci slingback kitten heels from the brand’s first collection with its new creative director Sabato de Sarno, while a matching Saint Laurent 5 À 7 bag rests on her shoulder. And to top it all off, gold Khaite studs were added, as well as her new signature Alex Moss diamond “B” bubble necklace.

All on its own, the perfectly crafted autumn ensemble has solidified espresso as the color of the season, finally dethroning pumpkin spice after a decades-long run at the top. Scroll down to see Bieber’s look and shop the color we’ll be shopping (and drinking!) from now until spring.

Hailey Bieber Explains Why She and Justin Wear Mismatched Outfits

    [ad_1]

Justin and Hailey Bieber have always been a fashionable couple, but you can’t deny they have pretty distinct styles. Hailey is known for her modern, flirty takes on today’s biggest trends, from naked dresses to micro miniskirts to thongkinis. Justin takes a more casual approach to fashion, favoring streetwear, graphic T-shirts, sweats, and the occasional Crocs. With two very different fashion philosophies, Hailey and Justin’s styles inspire a ton of opinions from fans and critics alike.

While some might see the combination as mismatched — and many do, if social media is any indication — Hailey is totally comfortable walking beside her sartorial opposite. “It’s so funny because I see so many people talk about this,” she told GQ Hype. “He may want to wear baggy sweats to dinner, and I might want to wear a tiny little dress just because that’s how I’m feeling.” She added: “We can’t sit there and be like, ‘So I’m going to wear this and you’re going to wear this.’”

While today’s celebrity couples embrace matching or complementary outfits, it’s refreshing to see the Biebers do style their own unique way. Have a look back at all the times the duo provided us with one-of-a-kind outfit inspiration ahead.

Hailey Bieber’s wardrobe is filled with pieces I could never dream of affording: custom-made dresses, designer shoes, straight-off-the-runway handbags, and let’s not forget her “priceless” bubble-initial necklace. So imagine my surprise when I learned that her go-to sunglasses don’t even hit triple digits in price. They cost just $65.

Since the summer, Bieber has been spotted on several occasions wearing the same pair of ’90s-style sunnies by Australian eyewear brand Otra. They feature a thin metal frame and narrow black lenses, one of which displays the brand’s name in white lettering. Bieber has worn the affordable sunglasses on a shopping trip during the summer, in an #OOTD Instagram post, and for a recent coffee run with her hubby, Justin. Several other stars have repped the same shades over the past few months, including Kelly Rowland, Emma Hernan, and Tessa Brooks.

With so much celebrity endorsement, the sunglasses unsurprisingly sold out online earlier this year, but I’m pleased to report they’re back in stock — for now, at least. Although Otra is based in Australia, the company ships all US orders from a warehouse in Los Angeles, so you don’t have to worry about paying an arm and a leg for shipping. (It either costs $5 for USPS ground or $10 for express.) Copying Hailey Bieber’s style for less than 80 bucks altogether? Sign me up.

Shop Bieber’s exact Otra sunglasses ahead to step up your accessories game without breaking the bank — and then check out her $28 vampire corset from Amazon if you need a last-minute Halloween costume.

As POPSUGAR editors, we independently select and write about stuff we love and think you’ll like too. If you buy a product we have recommended, we may receive affiliate commission, which in turn supports our work.

This Halloween, Hailey Bieber is out for blood. On Oct. 18, the Rhode Beauty founder debuted one of the first celebrity costumes we’ve seen this spooky season, and it did not disappoint. Channeling her inner vampire, Bieber’s scantily clad ensemble revolved around a specific red corset top, complete with tiny black bows, a low ruffled neckline, and lacy off-the-shoulder sleeves. She accessorized the sultry look with a fuzzy black miniskirt wrapped tightly around her hips, matching the gothic color palette with red embroidered stockings. The best part? Her corset is still available to shop for $28 on Amazon.

Although we can’t say with absolute certainty whether or not Bieber shops from Amazon herself, with an identical design and reviews going as far back as 2021, all evidence points to “yes.” Verified buyers gave the corset high praise, but some suggested ordering a size up, as the boning has a limited amount of give. The bustier includes stainless steel hooks that fasten in the front, along with lace-up black ribbon in the back to ensure a figure-hugging cinch. Bieber went the extra mile by adding fake blood around her lips, red costume jewelry, and a blood-soaked pearl choker, posing next to a skeleton dressed in a similar red and black fabric.

The fact that Bieber’s corset was so easily found on Amazon proves that celebrities need last minute costumes, too. Accessibility is a huge plus, and just because a costume is affordable doesn’t mean it can’t look good. It all comes down to the details, and in our opinion, Bieber totally nailed them. Read on to shop her sexy corset top, and make sure to order in time for Halloween.

  • Gen Z Only Uses Celeb Beauty Brands That Balance Relatability With Accessibility

Gen Z Only Uses Celeb Beauty Brands That Balance Relatability With Accessibility

    [ad_1]

“In order to give an honest review of a celebrity-owned product, it is important to put aside your admiration for the celebrity and focus on the product’s performance itself,” Bravo continues. “This can be difficult for some people to do, which can make it hard to understand if someone loves the product because it is good, or if they love it simply because it is coming from their ride-or-die celebrity.” She also considers the difference in resources between celeb-owned brands and small, independent ones. This alone can help determine the quality of the product as well as a marketing approach.

“You know a celebrity-owned brand is good when people are talking so much about how good a product is that folks who aren’t as familiar with the brand don’t even know it is celebrity-owned,” she explains. Taking that into consideration, it’s worth questioning the continued relevance of celeb brands in the beauty space. As consumer demands change to push for improved inclusivity and accessibility, ideally, a brand’s response should echo those efforts. If this is the case, then with increased reach comes heightened familiarity (even more so for celebrity beauty brands).

I took a look at some of the jaw-dropping numbers some of our favorite celeb-owned beauty brands have hit over the past year thanks to their massive TikTok presence. Cosmetify’s TikTok Beauty Index, by October 2023, revealed that Rare Beauty hit 3.5 million followers (with 50.3 million video likes and with 7.7 billion hashtag views), making it the second most popular TikTok beauty brand behind Huda Beauty. That being said, it holds the highest following and likes of any celeb-owned beauty brand on the platform. But as we head into 2024, I’m wondering if this generation’s most beloved beauty brands will continue to keep up with the fast-paced trend cycle of the industry.

“One of my mutuals Heather Hurst shared a great analogy about fashion trends that I believe applies to beauty as well. Basically, imagine every beauty trend is on a conveyor belt that circles round and round,” Bravo continues. “You do not have to grab everything off of the conveyor belt all at once.” In other words, if you’re not drawn to a product, its popularity alone shouldn’t be enough to inspire a purchase. In its simplest form, her biggest beauty advice when it comes to the industry’s trend cycle is as follows: enjoy what interests you and don’t feel pressure to invest in the rest because when it comes to trend cycles, everything comes back around… eventually.
