“I spent so much time preparing for the birth [with Marlowe], and absolutely no thought was given to what happens when I’d get home with a baby. At least now I’m aware of what that’s like,” the actress joked to Vogue in its Winter 2024 cover story.
During her first pregnancy, Miller had an emergency C-section after 27 hours of labor. “It was like a horrible trick of the universe,” she recalled. “I was like, ‘This can’t be what my sister felt at home in her birthing pool.’ It was so essential in my mind that I got it right. And so emblematic of the kind of mother I would be that I didn’t. But I know in retrospect that was just the demons of new motherhood.”

While Patrick was playing football, baseball and basketball in school, his father thought he showed the most promise as a baseball player and encouraged him to drop the other sports.
“He grew up in the clubhouse, he was always around the game, and he was always the best player on his baseball team,” Pat told the Los Angeles Times in February 2023 of his son’s athletic talent. “He was an unbelievable shortstop, he always led his team in hitting, and he threw 97 mph on the mound, so I always thought he was gonna be a baseball player.”
Patrick was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the 2014 MLB draft. However, he ultimately decided not to follow in his dad’s footsteps and focus on football instead. As Patrick emerged as the superstar quarterback of the Chiefs, his dad has supported him throughout his career and cheered him on at several of his games.

The Challenge alum Ashley Cain welcomed his second baby on Tuesday, January 16, and the newborn’s name has a heartfelt meaning.
“Aliyas Diamond Cain, I will love you, appreciate you, guide you and protect you with all of my heart, for the rest of my life,” Cain, 33, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, January 18. “You will have the most beautiful guardian angel heaven holds watching over you and protecting you too. Two months after Zara’s birth, Marques explained how meaningful it felt to become a father for the first time.
“I’m very instrumental in my daughter’s life. I’m not one of those absent fathers that’s just always working and never paying attention to his family because I feel like family is first,” Houston told Peoplein February 2022. “I always say being a husband and father are two of my biggest accomplishments in life so I take that very seriously. I’m really, really happy about being a dad.”
Marques began his career at the age of 11 as a founding member of the R&B group Immature. He transitioned into acting in 1992, appearing on the sitcom A Different World before landing his role on Sister, Sister two years later. Now he’s focusing on writing and producing films, including his latest project, Forever Us, which debuted on Tubi earlier this month. He’s looking forward to when he can bring Zara to work with him.
“I can have her on set with me and just kind of take her around,” he said. “She’s like our little road dog, she goes everywhere with us.”
Marques and Miya met in April 2018 at a Jehovah’s Witness convention and were introduced by his manager, Chris Stokes. They got engaged in March 2019 after five months of dating, tying the knot in August 2020.
Their relationship raised eyebrows as some fans balked at their 19-year age difference, but Marques defended their timeline in a June 2020 Instagram post.

Tiesi, 32, who spent Christmas morning with Cannon, 43, and their 17-month-old son, Legendary Love, took to her Instagram Stories on Monday, December 25, to show off a few of the presents from under their tree. After revealing a punching bag her father bought for Legendary, the model revealed her gift for Cannon this holiday season: a custom board game titled “Cannonopoly.”
The game, which is a spin on the classic Monopoly, featured a detailed painting of Cannon alongside his extensive brood. The squares of the board were changed to reflect Cannon’s personal life, with titles like “San Diego” — where The Masked Singer host is from — and the names of the mothers of his children. Tiesi captioned the post, “The best gift I’ve given.”
Cannon is the father of 12 kids. Last month, Cannon told Entertainment Tonight that the holiday season was his “favorite time of year,” noting that he had plans to celebrate with as much of his family as possible. “Saint Nick will be in every chimney I could possibly be in,” he told the outlet in November. “It’s all about the kids, so you’ll definitely see us doing some fun, over-the-top stuff in the next 30 days.”
The All That alum seemingly kept his promise, sharing various photoshoots with multiple members of his brood via Instagram on Monday. After dressing up for Legendary, he popped in to spend time with De La Rosa, 33, and their three kids. He later snapped some sweet shots with Bell, 36, and their three little ones, as well as with daughter Onyx.
It wasn’t just his own kids, however, that Cannon showed up for. The Drumline star visited children in a hospital earlier this week to honor his late son, Zen. Cannon posted an Instagram video of the time at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County on Saturday, December 23, titling the clip, “Zen’s Light Holiday Hospital Special.”

“Zen’s Light shining bright for the holidays!!” Cannon wrote alongside the post, which featured him dressed up as Santa Claus and passing out gifts to the tune of Donny Hathaway’s 1970 classic “This Christmas” in the background. “Thank you to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County and everyone who made the day so loving, warm and memorable.”
The hospital visit was part of the activities of Zen’s Light Foundation, which Cannon and Scott launched in June 2022. The mission of the foundation is to “foster global excellence in hope, grief care and pediatric healthcare for families and children in need.”
Cannon was seemingly able to be everywhere for everyone this Christmas, but the actor has previously been candid about how being a father of 12 can cause a major time management issue.
“Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children,” he explained during a December 2022 interview on The Checkup With Dr. David Agus. “One, ’cause I’m constantly working, and two, because I’m just spread thin.”

While speaking with Emma Stone for the Friday, December 8 episode of Variety‘s “Actors on Actors” series, Cooper, 48, revealed his kid’s big question. “I was with my daughter the other day, she’s like, ‘So what happens after, when you die?’” he recalled.

Robach, 50, and Holmes, 46, stepped out at the holiday-themed music festival at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Friday, December 8, where they twinned in black slacks but swapped out jacket types. While Robach glittered in a gold blazer, Holmes opted for an edgy motorcycle jacket.
As the pair posed for photos on the red carpet, they couldn’t resist getting in some candid, playful shots. In one pic, Robach and Holmes couldn’t stop laughing as they looked into one another’s eyes.
The couple brought Holmes’ youngest daughter, 11-year-old Sabine, to the concert. Sabine, who Holmes shares with ex-wife Marilee Fiebig, rocked a pink hoodie with an image of Elvis Presley on the front.

Sets per Instagram Story footage. In one video, he and Sabine belted out the words to OneRepublic’s “Counting Stars.” A follow-up clip proved that Sabine was very excited about Olivia Rodrigo’s set and that she masterfully knew every word to “Vampire” and “Good 4 U.”

Robach and Holmes began cohosting GMA3: What You Need to Know in 2020, where they developed a friendly bond. Two years later, they were photographed outside the office despite their marriages to Andrew Shue and Fiebig, 46, respectively. Amid the scandal, ABC pulled Robach and Holmes from GMA3. Us Weekly broke the news in January that they were officially “out” at the network. Eva Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan have since taken over on the Good Morning America afternoon broadcast.

Robach and Holmes did not let the workplace scandal faze them as they continued building their relationship. Meanwhile, Sabine and Robach’s two daughters — Ava and Analise, whom she shares with ex-husband Tim McIntosh — first found out about their parents’ relationship after the photos were published online.
“My daughter, I mean, she’s 10, I was still trying to get her adjusted to her new reality of her parents not being together. And I’d been working on that for the past three, four months,” Holmes said on the couple’s debut podcast episode earlier this week. “So I didn’t want to spring on her that early, ‘Oh yeah, by the way, you know that Amy Robach, who you’ve known since you were 1?’ … Well, I’m dating her now.’”

Robach, for her part, noted that she is still apologizing to her daughters for how the scandal played out. “We thought we were protecting our children and our families, and we thought we had time,” she said on the “Amy & T.J.” podcast. “And we thought we had a right to privacy. And maybe that was foolish and silly.”
The couple’s exes have also reportedly been involved. News broke on Tuesday, December, 5, that Shue, 56, and Fiebig started dating after bonding over the drama.
“I feel great sorrow with my father’s passing,” Tatum, 60, told People on Friday, December 8, hours after Ryan’s passing was confirmed. “He meant the world to me. I loved him very much and know he loved me too. I’ll miss him forever and I feel very lucky that we ended on such good terms.”
Ryan’s eldest son, Patrick O’Neal, confirmed the actor’s death at age 82 earlier on Friday. “My dad passed away peacefully today with his loving team by his side supporting him and loving him as he would us,” he wrote via Instagram.
“My father Ryan O’Neal has always been my hero. I looked up to him and he was always bigger than life,” Patrick continued “When I was born in 1967 my dad was already a TV star onPeyton Place. That’s where he met my mom Leigh Taylor-Young, and about 9 months later (give or take a date night or two) I was born.”

Patrick described his father as a “Hollywood legend. Full stop,” noting that the name Ryan “peaked” after he appeared in the 1970 film Love Story, which “saved Paramount Studios and earned my dad a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame.”
Patrick shared that Ryan was “so skilled at his craft, worked so hard and just loved acting plain and simple,” adding that he was “highly intelligent,” an “avid reader” and a “journal writer.” He concluded his message by saying that his dad lived “a kick-ass life” and “never bragged” but had “bragging rights in Heaven.”
He concluded the heartfelt tribute, “I’ll miss you dad. I love you. We love you.”

Ryan, who was known for his roles in Paper Moon, Love Story,Peyton Place, The Driver and more, was the father of four children: Tatum and son Griffin O’Neal, whom he welcomed with first wife Joanna Moore in 1963 and 1964, respectively; Patrick, 56, whom he shared with ex-wife Leigh Taylor-Young; and Redmond O’Neal, whom he welcomed with Farrah Fawcett in 1985. (Ryan and Farrah were romantically linked for 30 years until her death in 2009.)
Throughout his life, Ryan made headlines for his ups and downs with his children. He and Griffin, 59, got into infamous altercations in 1983 and 2007, while he was arrested with son Redmond, 38, in 2008 for alleged drug possession. He was also often estranged from Tatum as she faced her own battle with addiction.
“How would I feel if my father were to, say, get sick or die even? Would I be OK? And I realized that I wouldn’t be OK,” Tatum asked during a clip of the pair’s 2011 short-lived reality show, Ryan and Tatum: The O’Neals,according to CNN. “So I knew I needed to make an effort, because what is your life without your family? What’s your life without a father?”

The pair eventually reunited in September 2020 along with her three children — Kevin, 37, Sean, 36, and Emily, 32 — whom she shares with ex-husband John McEnroe.
“This is one of the most memorable photos of my life,” Sean wrote via Instagram at the time. “The last time we were all together was at the 30-year Paper Moon Anniversary in 2003. I could cry tears of gratitude that everyone in this photo is still alive and that we were all able to come together again after so many years of hardship. The entire West Coast is burning, but if the O’Neal can reconcile, truly anything is possible.”
