I love clothes, especially designer clothes. But the high price tag? Not so much. Since I always find myself faced with this problem, I set out to find the same high-quality pieces at an affordable price point. I needed to restock some basics such as crisp linens and bodysuits, and I also wanted to invest in some trends including halters and ’90s-inspired tube tops. Long story short: A shopping spree was in order. (It’s for work, I promise.) I struck gold when I found these new arrivals from Express. Let me tell you this brand does “looking expensive” just right. The pieces have the same longevity and versatility of my favorite designer items but don’t cost a whole paycheck. I’m especially excited to wear the halter top (how adorable is that sweetheart neckline?) and the scoop-neck bodysuit—both are made of this super-luxe, contouring fabric that I just can’t get enough of. Keep scrolling to see what else I’ll be adding to my closet.
