    As BOSSIP previously reported, 50 is back to trolling his NYC nemesis after Papoose and his Let’s Rap About It cohosts —Dave East, Maino, Jim Jones, and Fabolous— dissed him on the show. It didn’t take long for 50 to drag Claressa and Papoose’s ex, Remy Ma, into the crossfire. Now, why are they in it?

    The king of social media savagery continued the long-standing static by using AI to put Papoose and Claressa’s faces over a scene from Black Sister’s Revenge, where a woman slaps a man about not loving her back. “Now you see, that’s assault! You can’t just go around putting your hands on PEOPLE. LOL Happy New Year!” 50 wrote in the caption.

    Papoose responded to the tired joke about his heavy-hitting boo abusing him and posted some AI-generated antics of his own. He shared a deepfake clip of 50 Cent twerking in a bikini. On New Year’s Day, the G-Unit star laughed it off with a repost that shaded Claressa and Remy as “handsome.”

    “Look what Pap posted,” he wrote with laughing emojis. “Hahaha, that look like one of his joints all his hoe’s handsome. They tougher than him LOL.”

    Claressa Claps Back After 50 Cent’s Diss

    We know Claressa doesn’t back down either, and she wanted all the smoke! She wrote on X, formerly Twitter, that even though it’s a new year, men hating on her is old news.

    “This generation of men have been weird to me for a long ass time. Bunch of men hating on hardworking, successful women. Gossiping, lying, and black balling. I got the millions now, but a lot of men in power tried to block me! The hate been real! This is not new to me,” the champ wrote on Saturday.

    “These rappers don’t get they a** beat enough that’s the problem,” she warned. The fierce Flint fighter called him out directly, adding, “Mfs ain’t never been the best in their field no matter what era of their career! So 50 can stfu for real!”

    50 Cent Backs Down From Beef With Claressa Shields

    Maybe the NYE bottles of Le Chemin du Roi wore off because eventually 50 Cent came to his senses about Claressa Shields. After a few days of social media dragging the Power producer for tearing down a Black woman, 50 came as close as he ever does to an apology and waved the white flag. He even admitted that he’s a fan of the fighter and that her upcoming world championship rematch against Franchón Crews-Dezurn.

    “Ok the truth is I’m a claressashields fan, I think she is an amazing fighter and she got a Big fight coming up,so I’m gonna chill and let her focus let’s go champ !” he wrote on Sunday.

    It wouldn’t be 50 Cent if he didn’t include something shady. In this case, it was a screenshot of an internet investigator calling out a tweet of Claressa celebrating her chance to meet 50 in 2024. “Ha I’m bout to meet 50 Cent life is crazy,” she wrote. “I love 50!”

It sounds like 50 knew how to treat a queen when he saw one, regardless of his “handsome” heckling.

    Claressa took a petty page out of 50’s book and noted how hype he was to wave around her boxing belt as he performed.

    “You’re still invited to the fight,” she continued with a wink. “I’m still honored you performed on stage holding my HEAVYWEIGHT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BELT!”

    Now, that’s how you clear ’em!

    Unfortunately, the hate Claressa faces is deeper than disses from her man’s opp. Like Serena Williams and Michelle Obama, she faces additional hate for not only being Black and a woman at the top of her game, but also colorist insults as a darker-skinned woman.

    The shady implications of 50 using an old photo of Claressa from before her recent glow-up didn’t go unnoticed, and neither did the flood of hateful backlash that followed. She posted a recent gorgeous and “glowed up” pic and slammed the “ugly narrative” about the throwback photo from her Olympic victory.

    “Please…. Y’all wanna run with the ugly narrative so bad! I was 17 years old fighting for my entire country and had a OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL AROUND MY NECK! Of course I glowed up! And I’m going to always be focused No matter what! LIKE ALWAYS!” she announced.

    Claressa connected the dots from the “hate train” to anti-Black hatred, even when it’s internalized by “my own people.” Clock it!

    “Boy Y’all hate everything about blackness, being black, black women, black support, black unity, black noses, black a**es. It’s really sad. I’m never joining the hate train of my own people. I didn’t wear a full face of makeup til i was 24 years old,” she wrote Sunday night.

    Welp, the GWOAT has spoken! She concluded that she’s “Still Beautiful & Blessed” as she prepares for a real opponent.

    Papoose seems to be a man who’s well taken care of by his boxing belle Claressa Shields, but their latest viral couple-up clip has the internet wondering if he’s on the ropes.

    Claressa uploaded a sample of the meal she made for her man, her man—spinach, protein, rice and white bread—before turning the camera onto Papoose to get his review of things. The New York rapper had nothing but high praises for her culinary skills, claiming that the meal was an “11/10.”

    “This food is amazing. The way you seasoned it, it was cooked perfectly,” he said in the clip.

    Despite their joy, the internet still had jokes for Papoose and Claressa, per usual. Commenters wondered whether the rapper was simply being nice to stave off any hard feelings and save her some embarrassment on camera.

    “I would have edited the first 3 seconds when he looked like he was in despair,” one user said.

    “She beats him 😩 I’m convinced,” said another.

    Well, we all know that Claressa doesn’t care what the people have to say when it comes to her and her man because she’s never afraid to clap back. As Papoose continues his beef with the king of trolling, 50 Cent, the boxing champion has been throwing her hat in the ring on her man’s behalf.

    After Papoose and his Let’s Rap About It cohosts—Dave East, Maino, Jim Jones and Fabolous—all had disses for 50, the “Many Men” rapper responded with a clip of Remy Ma talking about her ex-husband.

    “My ex might be the least income-making person that I’ve ever been with,” she says in the clip. “Ever.”

    In the meantime, Pap and 50 are busy trading AI-created videos of one another. The G-Unit CEO shared a clip from the film Black Sister’s Revenge, in which the main character slaps her man for being unfaithful. Claressa and Pap’s faces were added to the characters as the ongoing joke that the boxer is keeping her rapper beau on lock by using her Olympic gold medal-winning hands. Pap responded with his own AI-generated video of 50 dancing in a bikini.

    50, who has never bowed out of an internet beef, took the jab in jest, responding,

    “Look what Pap posted. Hahaha, that look like one of his joints all his hoe’s handsome. They tougher than him.”

    Claressa made sure to jump back in and make it clear that she has no love for 50 or respect for him in any era of his career. Before the jabs were thrown from Pap, Shields alleged that she woke up to find 50 spreading lies about her online.

    “Why this nut a** MF 50 come bothering me! And the answer is the algorithm,” she said in a Snapchat post. “It’s sad to say that I’ve been viral for 40 days and 40 nights by just being me! And people have started making fake AI videos, pictures and narratives. I’ll end on this note, 50 need therapy he go around mad at the world or anybody successful because he got his heart broke. It happens. Get over it.”

    On Friday, the infamous InstaBaddie posted a clip of herself between the sheets with Offset. By now, she’s a pro at catching snoozing celebs on camera and repeatedly zoomed in on his face to catch every low-down loc of his in 4K. Despite all of Celina’s clout-chasing shenanigans, Offset was too knocked out to notice. She really took him through there!

    Rather than waiting to put Cardi B’s ex in the blender over another baby, she already had other plans to secure the bag before Offset even woke up. In the caption, she claimed the reckless rapper has a feature on another NSFW tape they made the night before.

    “Made a tape last night & all u heard was him in the video lol offset you sleepy boy,” she wrote. It’s hard to tell if that means the Atlanta artist is behind the camera, talking in the background, or actually makes a cameo. For once, Celina leaves something to the imagination… unless you’re a paying customer, of course.

    Several comments clocked that Offset was fresh off a pity party over Cardi moving on with her baller baby daddy, Stefon Diggs. In addition to taking shots at his ex and her next in his songs, several comments clocked Offset tried to tax Cardi for it in their divorce proceedings, despite his long history of cheating scandals.

    “Ain’t he in court tryna get money from cardi cause he claim she with a new man?” One wrote laughing emojis. “How the jokes write themselves.”

  • Trump Says U.S. Will ‘Run’ Venezuela After Military Strike Captures President Nicolás Maduro

    President Donald Trump said Saturday that the United States will temporarily “run” Venezuela following a large-scale U.S. military operation that resulted in the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores.

    According to NBC News, Trump announced the decision during a press conference in Florida, where he stated the U.S. would take control of the country until a leadership transition is implemented.

    “We’re going to run the country until such time as we can do a safe, proper and judicious transition,” Trump said. “And it has to be judicious, because that’s what we’re all about.”

    CNN states that Trump did not provide a timeline for how long the U.S. would remain in control, nor did he outline how governance would function beyond military and economic oversight.

    How the U.S. Military Operation Unfolded

    According to NBC News, the operation that led to Maduro’s capture was approved by Trump more than a week in advance but was delayed several times due to adverse weather conditions.

    NBC reports Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine said Trump gave the final order at 10:46 p.m. ET Friday night.

    “Weather in Venezuela is always a factor this time of year,” Caine said. “The men and women of the United States military sat ready, patiently waiting for the right triggers to be met and the president to order us into action.”

    NBC News reports U.S. forces arrived at Maduro’s compound by 1:01 a.m. ET Saturday and exited Venezuelan airspace by 3:29 a.m. with Maduro and Flores in custody. NewsOne reports critics call his capture an “illegal kidnapping” and the attack “immoral and irresponsible.”

    Per CNN, more than 150 aircraft were deployed during the mission. Trump said no U.S. troops or equipment were lost, describing the operation as highly effective. Maduro and Flores were dragged from their bedroom by elite U.S. forces during the overnight raid.

    What Happens to Maduro Now?

    Trump confirmed that Maduro and Flores were transported to New York, where Maduro is expected to face long-standing drug and weapons charges.

    According to NBC News, Attorney General Pam Bondi said Maduro has been indicted on charges including narco terrorism conspiracy, cocaine importation conspiracy, possession of machine guns and destructive devices, and conspiracy to possess machine guns and destructive devices.

    “They will soon face the full wrath of American justice on American soil in American courts,” Bondi said.

    Federal prosecutors allege Maduro “is at the forefront” of a corruption network that trafficked thousands of tons of cocaine into the United States.

    “I’ve seen what we have,” Trump said. “It’s both horrible and breathtaking that something like this could have been allowed to take place for many years.”

    Trump’s Plan for Venezuela and Its Oil

    CNN states Trump said the U.S. will take control of Venezuela’s oil infrastructure and allow American oil companies to invest billions of dollars to rebuild the country’s energy sector.

    “We’re going to have our very large United States oil companies, the biggest anywhere in the world, go in, spend billions of dollars, fix the badly broken infrastructure, the oil infrastructure, and start making money for the country,” Trump said.

    CNN also reports that Trump said U.S. troops would “have a presence in Venezuela as it pertains to oil,” adding that oil revenue would be used to reimburse both Venezuelans and the United States.

    “It won’t cost us anything,” Trump said. “The money coming out of the ground is very substantial.”

    According to NBC News, Trump said the U.S. military is prepared to carry out a second and larger attack if necessary.

    “We are ready to stage a second and much larger attack if we need to do so,” Trump said.

    Political Pushback and Constitutional Questions

    NBC News states that Democratic lawmakers criticized the operation for being carried out without congressional authorization.

    “Maduro is an illegitimate ruler, but I have seen no evidence that his presidency poses a threat that would justify military action without Congressional authorization,” Rep. Jim Himes of Connecticut said.

    Rep. Jerry Nadler of New York called the operation unconstitutional.

    “Trump’s actions are completely illegal and unconstitutional,” Nadler said. “This grave abuse of power has put American troops in harm’s way and threatens wider conflict in the region.”

    According to NBC News, Trump dismissed the criticism during a phone interview with Fox News.

    “As far as last night is concerned, it was really genius,” Trump said. “The Democrats all they do is complain.”

    Global Reaction and What Comes Next

    According to Hip Hop Wired, Venezuelan officials accused the United States of targeting civilian and military locations and denounced the strike as “military aggression.”

    Russia condemned the operation and pledged support for Venezuela ahead of an emergency United Nations meeting.

    “The pretexts cited to justify these actions are untenable,” Russia’s Foreign Ministry said. “We reaffirm our solidarity with the Venezuelan people.”

    As of now, Trump has not clarified how long the United States intends to govern Venezuela or how power will ultimately be transferred, leaving major questions unanswered as the situation continues to develop.

  • Man does DNA test on “weird looking” rescue dog, unprepared for results

    A man who adopted a dog from a shelter earlier this year did a DNA test to finally found out what breed she is, and the results were certainly not what he expected.

    Brett Miller adopted Birdie, a 2-year-old rescue dog in August, thinking she was some sort of pit bull and terrier mix. He joked that she’s quite “weird looking” and shares a certain likeness with “a gargoyle,” leaving him fascinated to know what breed she truly is.

    Adopting Birdie has been a wonderful experience for Miller, of Los Angeles, who told Newsweek that she’s great with people, other dogs, and generally she just “loves to nap.”

    Miller was keen that Birdie be able to accompanying him on trips by air but, as he believed she was part pit bull, he anticipated having problems getting her cleared to fly on an airplane. So he decided to seek some clarity by doing a DNA test on Birdie and finding out whether she does have any pit bull in her after all.  

    “I wasn’t able to get her verified by my vet to fly in an airplane because she’s suspected to be a pit bull, and pit bulls are a restricted breed on most major airlines,” Miller said. “So, my mom bought me a DNA test to make sure she was actually as much pit bull as we thought. It turns out that she’s mostly American Bully and then next up was Chihuahua and Pomeranian.”

    The results show that Birdie is 31 percent American bully, 14 percent Chihuahua, 13 percent Pomeranian, 13 percent super mutt, and 10 percent poodle. Birdie’s DNA test also revealed that she has smaller percentages of chow chow, German Shepherd, and only 4 percent pit bull.

    Miller couldn’t resist sharing these findings on social media, posting a video on TikTok (@brettneyspears) discussing what the results showed and reading out the percentages of each breed in Birdie’s DNA as his mixed mutt sat on his lap. Internet users can’t get enough of Birdie’s unusual genetic makeup, and the video has gone viral with over 1 million views and 193,000 likes on TikTok at the time of writing.

    The DNA results came as quite a surprise to Miller, who was delighted that Birdie can now travel by plane with him.

    “I was shocked and happy because that meant she could fly,” Miller told Newsweek. “American bullies are a restricted breed as well, but only because of their respiratory issues due to their short snouts. Luckily, Birdie has a Chihuahua snout so she should be able to fly.

    “She’s great in the car, is very family-oriented and super social and playful,” he continued.

    Since the video went viral on TikTok, many social media users have taken to the comments section to share their thoughts on her results. The reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, and Miller said it’s “super cool” to hear from so many people about the unexpected DNA results their dogs got too.

    There have been more than 1,000 comments on the TikTok post so far, with one person saying: “somehow these all make sense.”

    Another TikTok user wrote: “And she’s 100% perfect!”

    A different person added: “Omg what an unhinged mix. She is precious!”

    While a further comment reads: “She looks horrified by each revelation.”

  • AI takes on return fraud as holiday returns surge

    Data from Happy Returns, a UPS-owned reverse logistics company, shows that nearly one in every 10 retail returns in the United States involves fraud. Retailers now lose an estimated $76.5 billion a year to the problem. 

    To slow those losses, Happy Returns, which specializes in boxless in-store returns for online purchases, is testing a new artificial intelligence tool that flags fraudulent returns before refunds go out.

    How return fraud works in the real world

    Return fraud often looks harmless on the surface. A shopper requests a refund for a legitimate item. Instead of sending back the real product, they ship something cheaper, damaged or completely different. Retailers often issue refunds before anyone inspects the item. That speed allows fraud to slip through and drives up costs.

    Industry data from Happy Returns and the National Retail Federation shows retailers will handle nearly $850 billion in returned goods in 2025, representing almost 16% of total retail sales. According to the same research, an estimated 9% of those returns are fraudulent. The report also finds that many shoppers admit to some form of return policy abuse. Importantly, because Happy Returns conducts in-person item verification and uses AI-powered automated flagging plus audit processes to catch mismatches, the rate of confirmed fraud in its network is much lower than the industry-wide estimate. 

    Why boxless returns changed the equation

    Happy Returns operates nearly 8,000 in-person return drop-off locations inside stores such as Ulta Beauty and Staples, as well as at UPS locations. Shoppers can return eligible items without a box or shipping label, and refunds are often issued quickly after verification. Like any returns channel, fraud attempts can happen, but in-person drop-off, item verification, ongoing flagging and audits help keep confirmed fraud far lower than broader industry averages.

    Happy Returns says its boxless, in-person model already blocks many common fraud tactics, including empty boxes, partial returns and fake tracking numbers. “If you never touch the product, you can’t actually know what’s being returned matches what was sold,” the company says. Everlane says that physical handling alone acts as a deterrent. “Just the fact of knowing an individual will physically handle and verify the product at the Return Bar deters fraudsters from even attempting to commit fraud,” said Jim Green, director of logistics and fulfillment at Everlane. 

    Still, Happy Returns acknowledges that fraud tactics continue to evolve. Lookalike products and knockoffs can closely resemble the real thing, making subtle differences hard to spot without close inspection.

    How Return Vision uses AI to detect fraudulent returns

    This holiday season, Happy Returns is piloting its new AI system with select retailers, including Everlane, Revolve and Under Armour, as return volumes spike.

    The new AI tool is called Return Vision. It starts working the moment a shopper initiates a return online. The system looks for unusual patterns across return timing, frequency and location. A single return may appear normal on its own. When those signals overlap in suspicious ways, the return is flagged for review before a refund is issued.

    At drop-off points, workers can scan item barcodes and see photos of what the item should look like. They can reject obvious mismatches on the spot. Once returns reach Happy Returns hubs in California, Pennsylvania and Mississippi, flagged packages are sent to human auditors. The items are opened and photographed, including images of the front, back and identifying labels.

    Those photos are fed back into the AI system, which compares them against official product images and past transaction data. Human teams review the AI assessment and make the final decision. The goal is not automation alone. It is adding multiple layers of review where fraud is harder to hide.

    Early results show how effective AI is at catching return fraud

    While still in pilot, Happy Returns says Return Vision is showing early results. Less than 1% of returns flowing through its network are flagged as high risk. Of those flagged returns, about 10% are ultimately confirmed as fraud. The average prevented loss per confirmed case is just over $200. 

    Happy Returns says the system focuses on high-confidence cases, allowing most shoppers to move through returns without delay. The company notes that the tool does not address every form of abuse, such as wardrobing, when customers return worn items.

    Why retailers are turning to AI to stop return fraud

    Happy Returns is not alone in turning to AI to stop return fraud. Amazon and FedEx both offer boxless returns and use automated systems to flag risky behavior. The U.S. Postal Service is rolling out similar services. Across retail, 85% of surveyed merchants say they use AI or machine learning to combat fraud. Many say the results have been mixed. Happy Returns says combining behavioral signals with physical product verification helps close gaps that data-only systems often miss.

    In the fast-moving world of streaming, a digital eternity can pass between a romantic European getaway and a cold, one-sentence breakup announcement. Fans of Kai Cenat and GiGi were left reeling this weekend after the 24-year-old content king confirmed that his relationship with Gabrielle Alayah (better known as GiGi) has officially ended.

    The news broke on Saturday when Kai took to X with a post. “I’m single I will never be in another relationship again,” he wrote, sparking immediate discourse across social media. According to TMZ, the announcement came as a shock to his fan base, especially considering the pair had recently been spotted looking cozy while traveling through Switzerland and Italy just days after Christmas.

    The Cheating Allegations Surrounding Kai Cenat and GiGi

    Whenever a high-profile influencer breakup occurs, the internet’s first instinct is to find a villain, and GiGi quickly found herself in the drama. Rumors began swirling on X, fueled by a viral post with over 2.7 million views that alleged GiGi had been involved with rapper NBA YoungBoy while dating Kai. While Kai’s post was vague and leaned into a “sympathetic” tone, fans rushed to the comments to claim that GiGi had fumbled the bag through infidelity.

    GiGi, however, did not let a false narrative settle. Taking to her Instagram Story, she set the record straight, revealing that she was actually the one who pulled the plug on the relationship. “I left, now you wanna get on the internet and rush to paint a false narrative about me off a FAKE Twitter post is insane,” she wrote. She directly addressed the cheating rumors, stating, “I’ve never cheated on him, and YOU know that. I have never dealt with that man… play that sympathetic role somewhere else, please.”

    The relationship between Kai Cenat and GiGi first became public knowledge late last year when Kai introduced her during his 23rd birthday livestream. Since then, the couple has been under a microscope, with some fans questioning if the chemistry was genuine or if the lifestyle was the primary draw. The split comes after the creator faced scrutiny at the Streamer Awards.

    If there’s any couple we expected to give matching pajamas PDA for the holiday, it’s Cardi and Stefon, but the lovebirds weren’t together. The “Bodega Baddie” hilariously went viral with a recap of the Christmas trees dedicated to each of her children while she joked about having “500 kids.” Stefon caused even more chatter after he holiday hard-launched not one, but two babies, for their first Christmas as well. If you’re keeping count, that’s almost an infinity guantlet’s worth of infants.

    The proud father took to Instagram Story to share some cute moments with two of his celebrity seeds. In one photo, the Patriots player stands next to a decked-out Christmas tree with an adorable baby boy in his arms. “One of my boys’ first Christmas,” Stefon captioned the photo.

    He shares his mini-me with InstaModel K’yanna Barber (aka @4theloveofKJ), who famously inspired Drake’s “Kiki, do you love me?” lyrics on “In My Feelings.” KB reposted a close-up of the cutie on her Instagram Story as well.

    In another adorable Diggs family photo, the wide receiver snuggled up to a baby girl in a festive pink bow headband that matches her outfit. The seven-month-old sweetheart is the daughter Stefon reportedly shares with Instagram model Cayy Benji (aka @cayy.benji), whom Lil Uzi Vert also named a song after in 2019. Cayy also posted Christmas morning cuteness with her older sons and her baby girl on her Instagram Story.

    Move Over, Nick Cannon! Stefon Diggs’ Seemingly Fathered Four Babies In 2025

    Cardi B gave birth to her first child with Stefon in November, just a few months after the celebrity couple went public. Fans knew Cardi came with three children from her estranged marriage to Offset and Stefon’s daughter Nova was born in 2016. However, some are shocked that he appears to have three new branches on the family tree besides Belcalis’ baby boy, Brim.

    While Diggs’ home and social media was full of baby blessings, he showed love to Cardi and their son with another post. “Miss yaw!!! Don’t be squeezing him too tight and make him soft,” he joked in the caption with a smirking emoji.

    Social media slueths have been trying to pin down the timeline of all this incessant insemination and prolific pregnancies. KB has been pretty private, mainly posting her older son except on her Instagram Story.

    Cayy recently revealed her stunning maternity shoot.

    She also celebrated her daughter’s first six months with a photo shoot.

    In addition to them, another baby recently entered the villa! Instagram model Aileen Lopera aka Lord Giselle filed a paternity suit against Stefon in December 2024. As BOSSIP previously reported, a DNA test confirmed that Stefon fathered Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, born in April 2025.

    Stefon’s other two children appeared to arrive in the few months between Charliee and Brim, making him a very busy dad. Critics have plenty comments about the unsheathed shenanigans that led to this barrage of babies, but at least it looks like he isn’t fumbling fatherhood.

    It’s unclear whether baby Charliee joined in on the first Christmas festivities at Stefon’s house as well, but Aileen made sure the little princess had a winter wonderland based on her family photo.

    Cardi B’s Over-The-Top Christmas With Trees Dedicated To Each Child

    Four children under 1-year-old is wild work, but this isn’t Cardi’s first rodeo with a man who has other children. She appeared to embrace Offset’s three children from previous relationships as her own and loves being a mother. She also clapped back at the chatter about new baby mamas entering the chat amid the parernity suit scandal. If she and Steffon go the Brady Bunch route for next year, they might need a bigger house bacause Cardi famously decorates Christmas trees to suit each child’s personality.

    This year, she showed off a polar bear and cubs centerpiece to represent the “mama bear” energy Cardi embodied. Kulture’s, 7, Labubu tree featured a doll Cardi said she spent months trying to find. Wave, 4, switched from Spider Man to Sonic The Hedgehog. Baby girl Bloosom, 1, got a pretty in pink Minnie Mouse tree. For baby Brim, it was all about the Pats and football with a figurine of Stefon.

    In a family photo, the “Pretty & Petty” rapper hilariously kept it real that “the perfect Christmas picture doesn’t exist in this house.” While Cardi’s arms were full with 7-week-old Brim, big sis Kulture held baby a crying baby Bloossom. Wave was happy in his own world on a polar bear cub big enough for him to ride.

    It seems Stefon can keep that same Christmas energy with “the best house on the block!” He noted the dazzling display is a childhood dream come true because “I ain’t have all this growing up.” Fortunately, he can provide that magic for his many, many offspring.

    Social media couldn’t resist the rumors when they saw the latest photos and video of Latto from her foundation’s event. Fans claim the biggest evidence is her outfit. Rather than pulling an Ice Spice scandal, the Clayco cutie regularly keeps it classy and covered for her child-centered event. Yet, even for winter, Latto’s floor-length fur fashion raised eyebrows as a little bit too covered up.

    The stunning coat and white boots fit the Christmas theme, but seemed out of place compared to past years’ shorts and tights combo or strapless dress. Even when Latto tones down her sexy style, fans claimed they’ve never seen her banging body as hidden as it was in the massive fur, which appeared to stay tightly fastened through the whole event.

    As “Latto pregnant” started to trend on X, a few posts noted that we haven’t seen much of Latto since Force Fest, except for Mariah The Scientist and 21 Savage’s birthday parties.

    When Latto popped out last week, it only added fuel to the fierce speculation.

    In a video teasing Latto’s new “Pop It” song with 21, she kept it real, pulling up in a luxury car for her favorite meal from McDonald’s. For the outfit, Latto once again rocked a larger-than-life fur and kept it closed the whole time, prompting more pregnancy chatter.

    Cardi B similarly showed out in her Imaginary Playerz teaser, which first sparked speculation of a pregnancy because she strutted her stuff with the coat still open. When the Cardi was close to announcing her bundle of joy, she also rocked oversized clothes for her album promotion and a huge fur coat at NYFW.

    Fans joked this is what she meant by “pop out, brand new body like I’m Cardi in this motherf**ker.” Or are her floor-length furs just another rich flex? It seems Latto can’t beat the allegations if she shows off her body or covers it up.

    However, Latto did throw some shade at the speculation. When the rumors started after her performance in Japan, she posted a photo from that day with her typically toned abs showing. She hilariously captioned the now-deleted post with a joke that she “ate tew much wagyu & ramen.”

    Latto clapped back in another teaser last month, where she went on a designer shopping spree (with a mystery man who looked a lot like 21 in the background). She rocked a flowing cheetah print set and flashed her abs as she rapped, “Big Mama, no kids!”

    For some, that clip meant it was case closed on the baby rumors.

    If that wasn’t enough of a fact-check, for Latto’s birthday on Monday, she showed off her super snatched figure in a stunning set of Christmas-themed photos. In every picture, she absolutely ate, from winter wonderland white with ice skate stilettos to popping out of a gift box with a cheetah print ribbon. Even Santa himself had to pull up with a cheetah print birthday cake with “Capricorn Szn” written on it. We see you, birthday baddie!

    The rumors about Latto are all fun and games to social media strangers, but she gives fans so much that no one could blame her for not sharing every detail about her personal life. The world will clearly have plenty to say either way. Real supporters will wish her the best for whatever she does next. It could be her new album, a matching pajamas pop-out with her boo, or even a possible little Latto on the way. Or maybe all three?

    It looks like Latto might have already dropped a not-so-subtle hint about another big announcement.

    Over the weekend, online personality Jake Paul and “manosphere” social media personality Andrew Tate each suffered high-profile losses in separate boxing bouts.

    Pro boxer Anthony Joshua knocked out Paul in Round 6 on Friday night at the Kaseya Center in Miami, breaking the YouTuber’s jaw in the process.

    The following night, Tate faced off against Netflix star and influencer Chase DeMoor for Tate’s professional boxing debut in Dubai.

    Here’s what happened in both boxing matches.

    Anthony Joshua knocked out Jake Paul in the sixth round of their heavyweight fight on Friday night.

    Joshua established pace against Paul from the opening round, as neither fighter engaged early. Midway through the first round, Paul threw an overhand right that Joshua blocked with his glove.

    Paul scored with a short right to the head early in the fourth. Later in that round, Paul awkwardly fell to the ground twice as he again attempted to cut distance during close exchanges.

    The two-time heavyweight champion dropped Paul twice in the fifth round and rocked him with a right uppercut early in the sixth.

    Joshua then floored Paul with a combination to the head, and although the YouTuber got back on his feet, Joshua dropped him a fourth time with a right to the head.

    Referee Christopher Young counted Paul out at 1:31 of the round in front of a capacity crowd of 19,600 people.

    “It took a little bit longer than expected but the right hand finally found its destination,” Joshua said after the fight. “Jake Paul’s done really well tonight. I’m going to give him his props. He got up time and time again. I give Jake the respect for trying and trying. He came up against a real fighter tonight.”

    “As we saw tonight, Jake has spirit,” Joshua said. “He has some heart and I take my hat off to him.”

    With the victory, Joshua now can angle to reclaim the heavyweight title he lost against Oleksandr Usyk.


    “I gave it my all,” Paul said. “Anthony is a great fighter and I got my ass kicked but that’s what this sport is all about. But I’m going to come back and keep winning.”

    “I think my jaw is broken, by the way,” Paul as he spit blood to the floor. “It’s definitely broke. But that was a nice little ass-whooping from one of the best to ever do it.”

    “I love this s–t and I’m going to come back and get a world championship belt,” Paul told Ariel Helwani. “We will heal the broken jaw, come back and fight people my weight.”

    Jake Paul has surgery for ‘double broken jaw’ after loss to Anthony Joshua

    Paul, 28, who embarked upon his boxing career in January 2020, said his jaw was broken in two places after his loss to Joshua.

    “Double broken jaw,” Paul wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of an x-ray of his jaw. “Give me Canelo in 10 days.”

    In a separate post from what appeared to be a hospital room alongside his brother, Logan, Paul wrote, “Thanks for all the support I’m OK.”

    He then updated his fans later and let them know that “surgery went well.”

    Paul had originally targeted an exhibition in Miami with lightweight champion Gervonta Davis last month, but Davis encountered legal problems that scrapped the event. Paul quickly pivoted and landed the bout against Joshua in the same venue.

    In the first round, Tate, a former kickboxer, took a few jabs at DeMoor — not a professional boxer — who threw right hands at Tate through the second.

    By the third round, DeMoor started landing the right hand and Tate’s fatigue appeared to set in during the fourth round.

    DeMoor was able to land an uppercut in the fifth round and split Tate’s skin above his eyebrow, leaving the influencer bloody.

    By the sixth round, both of the fighters looked tired, and DeMoor came out with the victory after being awarded a majority decision.

    “I’m 10 years out, 40 years old, gave it my all but he’s tough. I don’t know what to say. He’s really tough,” Tate said post-fight. “It’s better to try and lose than not try at all.”

    When asked if fans will be able to see Tate in the ring again, he said, “I’m gonna have to go back and watch the fight, make a decision… but Chase deserves this win.”

    “For all the nobody’s [sic],” DeMoor captioned an Instagram post after his win over Tate.

    DeMoor has won five of his fights on the Misfits boxing platform (MFB), and kept the MFB heavyweight title three times.

    Tate admitted that DeMoor won the fight “fair and square” as he addressed his loss on social media.

    “99.9% of 40-year-old men with 700 million dollars sit around with wh—s. I could have done the same and talked sh– on the Internet and took no risks and just live easy,” Tate wrote on X. “In my heart I knew I’m too old. I knew I’d been out too long. That’s why I had to do it.”

    Tate said he went through with the fight to “face fear.”

    “I can’t live scared. I have to know I faced it. I lost fair and square. Chase is a true champion. A warrior – I’m proud of him. He deserves the belt,” Tate added.

    In another post, Tate shared a video speaking about people being “so afraid to live that they’re already dead.”

    “I didn’t have to do this but this had to be done,” he said in the nearly two-minute video featuring clips from the fight. “It’s either the risk of losing or it’s the permanent dull ache of ‘what if.’”

    Tate said he’s not “afraid to lose” but he was “afraid to not try.”

    “The only way I’d be disappointed in myself is if I was too scared to fight at all,” he continued. “And when I first agreed to fight, there was a conversation and everyone said, ‘Andrew, you’re 40 years old, you just got out of jail. You’ve been through so much. You have so many problems. There’s so much going on. Why would you do this? What would you risk it all? Why would you get in there?’”

    Tate said he felt “a tinge of fear for the first time in my life.”

    “And that’s when I knew I had to fight. I’m not a ‘what if guy.’ I would rather go through the pain of a fight camp and the risk of a fight than live the rest of my human years with a dull ache of what could I have been? What could I have done? Heroes fight. Even if I knew I was going to lose, I would still fight because this is who I am,” he added.

  • ‘Truth Living’ Porsha Williams Opens Up About ‘Comfortable’ Courtship With Her Loving Lady, Patrice ‘Sway’ McKinney

    Porsha from Real Housewives of Atlanta is fully “living in her truth” as she embraces her blossoming romance with master barber Patrice “Sway” McKinney — and she’s not holding back on sharing her happiness.

    In an exclusive Dec. 11 interview with PEOPLE, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star opened up about why she decided to make her relationship with Sway Instagram-official in November.

    The mother of one, who finalized her divorce from Simon Guobadia in June, explained that she “just wanted to continue to live in my truth.”

    Porsha added that, despite spending more than a decade in the reality-TV spotlight, sharing this particular relationship felt new and significant.

     “I’ve been in reality TV for 10-plus years, okay. But yes, this was definitely different for obvious reasons,” she said from the red carpet at A Year in Time in New York City, noting that this is her first public relationship with a woman.

    On Friday, Nov. 28, the 44-year-old RHOA star posted a heartfelt birthday message to McKinney — founder of Encore Salon Suites in Atlanta — writing, “The Happiest Birthday @sway_thepro.”

    “Hope this year continues to bring you everything you want and more! 🥂🍾,” she continued. “Can’t wait to act up Saturday!”

    The Instagram carousel included two photos of Williams and McKinney embracing in front of a sparkling Christmas tree display, along with several videos,  including a clip of the pair dancing together in a club, and another of Sway planting a kiss on Porsha’s cheek.

    Reflecting on her decision to go public, Porsha told PEOPLE that she “didn’t want to hide” any part of her life.

    “I felt if I did hide it and it had to be caught somewhere, it just wouldn’t feel authentic,” she shared. “I want to live in my truth, and so in doing that, I have found someone who I really enjoy getting to know, and it’s been great.”

    When discussing what drew her to Sway, Porsha explained:

    “I think the best thing is when you find someone that you can see yourself in, and you guys match, and everything is comfortable, it’s warm.”

    She added, “You definitely want to be with someone warm who you can enjoy — and family. So I’m very blessed.”

    How did we get here?

    Hints of Porsha’s relationship with Sway surfaced back in October during a panel at CultureCon NYC, where she revealed she was dating both a man and a woman. While little is known about the man, fans were already speculating about her connection with Sway.

     At the time, Porsha shared that both relationships were off to promising starts.

     “He is nice, and she is nice,” she said with a laugh during the panel, before opening up about her emotional journey. 

    “But I really just wanted to make sure these were normal people. And what I talked about with my therapist the other day was, I’m having a hard time opening up because they’re not narcissists. And guess what narcissists do? They love bomb you. They do everything. They’re perfect. They mirror you.”

    She also revealed that neither of her new partners depends on over-the-top gestures to impress her; instead, they are secure enough to “challenge” and “question” her — something she finds refreshing.

     “They’re not letting me walk over them,” Porsha said. “They aren’t just doing whatever they need to do to get into the relationship. And so I’m not feeling safe enough to open up yet.”

    As for Sway, Patrice McKinney is the founder of Encore Salon Suites — the first Black-owned salon suite franchise — and a seasoned master barber and stylist with more than 10 years of experience.

  • Trump calls Jimmy Kimmel a ‘bum’ after host’s Epstein files monologue – National | Globalnews.ca

    U.S. President Donald Trump jabbed at late-night host Jimmy Kimmel early Thursday after he opened his show on Wednesday night with comments about the Epstein files and questioned whether Trump knows anything more about the sex offender’s crimes.

    “We are carefully following the path of Hurricane Epstein right now. It is a Category 5; it is expected to make landfall sometime very soon,” Kimmel said.

    Hours after the show aired, Trump posted on Truth Social that Jimmy Kimmel Live! should be taken off the air, months after the president welcomed a short-lived suspension of the late-night talk show.

    The president did not mention Epstein by name, but criticized the ABC network for continuing to broadcast Kimmel’s show.

    “Why does ABC Fake News keep Jimmy Kimmel, a man with NO TALENT and VERY POOR TELEVISION RATINGS, on the air?” Trump wrote, “Why do the TV Syndicates put up with it?”


    Trump also called Kimmel’s comments “totally biased.”

    “Get the bum off the air!!!” Trump added.

    In his monologue, one day after the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate voted in quick succession to pass a bill compelling the Department of Justice to release files relating to the deceased convicted sex offender, Kimmel said: “We are now one step closer to answering the question: what did the president know, and how old were these women when he knew it?”

    The bill would, however, exempt any documents that are part of the ongoing investigation.

    The president has insisted that the push to release the Epstein files stemmed from what he calls a Democrat “hoax” to disrupt his presidency — despite mounting pressure from within his own party to unseal them and his agreement to sign the bill to do so.

    While Trump has never officially been accused of wrongdoing in the Epstein case, he has frequently been associated with the convicted sex offender, who died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges. Their relationship is well-documented, with the two appearing together at social events in the 1990s and early 2000s.

    Trump’s name, along with those of many other high-profile individuals, is also written multiple times on flight logs for Epstein’s private plane in the 1990s, though he denies ever having been on board.

It was such a landslide, Trump might actually be able to re-bury the Epstein files under it,” Kimmel added, before commenting on Trump’s conduct in the White House.

    “Usually when Trump gets a bill, he declares bankruptcy and doesn’t pay it, but this one, he’s gonna have to sign,” Kimmel continued. “Or at least he says he’s gonna sign it, which means there’s about — maybe a 12 per cent chance he will.”

    “Trump hasn’t been this nervous about signing something since Don Jr.’s birth certificate,” the late-night host joked.

    Kimmel’s remarks came about two months after his show was temporarily taken off the air, then allowed to recover after comments he made about the killing of right-wing political commentator Charlie Kirk, who died after being shot in the neck at a Turning Point USA rally on Sept. 10.

  • Holiday crime fears grow as ‘jugging’ thieves target shoppers carrying cash and gifts: ‘Only a matter of time’

    Authorities throughout the country are warning shoppers to remain vigilant ahead of their holiday errands as thieves are turning to a popular crime trend to make off with quick cash. 

    The trend – nicknamed “jugging” – involves criminals following victims from ATMs, banks or stores in an effort to steal their cash or new purchases, according to the FBI. Law enforcement officers typically see a rise in incidents around the holiday season, with shoppers often walking around with large sums of cash or high-cost gifts. 

    “Jugging is just, in my opinion, a slang term for crimes of opportunity,” retired NYPD officer Bill Stanton told Fox News Digital. “Think of predators, where there are crocodiles or water creatures that hang out by the watering hole, right? And in this case, it’s an ATM or an ATM-type machine.” 

    Numerous instances of individuals falling victim to the trend have made national headlines, with the most recent incident striking a Texas man earlier this month.

    On Nov. 10, a 70-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint as he was visiting an ATM in a Walmart parking lot in Houston, according to FOX26. 

    Police said the suspect forced the victim to withdraw cash from the machine, then shot the man after he handed over the money. The unnamed man was transported to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition. 

    A similar incident unfolded on April 29, when police say a Houston man was followed from a Wells Fargo Bank ATM to a car wash, where an unidentified male suspect brandished a firearm in an attempt to rob the victim, according to the Houston Police Department. The suspect then fled the area on foot, before entering a white SUV and driving off, police said. 

    One day earlier, a man was followed from a Chase Bank in Houston, where surveillance video captured two suspects pulling up next to his vehicle on each side while the man entered a gas station convenience store, according to police. Video then captured the two suspects – who are believed to be the same individuals involved in the robbery on the following day – breaking both front windows of the victim’s vehicle before removing a cash envelope from the center console.

    Earlier this year, a Houston man was sentenced to 120 months in federal prison after he pleaded guilty to the “jugging” robbery of an ATM technician, according to the Department of Justice.

    According to prosecutors, 33-year-old Johnny Juwan Clark was out on supervised release for a separate robbery incident when he, along with three others, forced an ATM technician to the ground and forcibly removed hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash from the machine in Midlothian, Texas.  

    The group was working within a Houston-based criminal organization called the “Hiram Clarke Money Team” when Clark admitted following the technician to multiple stops, before approaching the victim from behind and forcing him to the ground in front of a Chase Bank ATM, according to the DOJ. 

    Clark kept his fist to the back of the technician’s head as two alleged accomplices stole approximately $248,000 in cash from the machine, prosecutors said. The group then allegedly fled the scene and met at a nearby apartment complex, where the stolen money was loaded into the back of a Range Rover and driven back to Houston.

    Once the cash was transported, Clark and another codefendant used a portion of the money to purchase an S-Class Mercedes-Benz and jewelry, according to prosecutors. 

    Clark’s attorney and the Houston Police Department did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment. 

    “It’s more of a want issue,” Stanton said. “And if the economy isn’t going in their favor, it’s more of a motivating factor – that, and the holidays.” 

    According to Stanton, criminals often seek out victims that look as though they are not paying attention to their surroundings when in a public place.

    GHOST-TAPPING SCAM TARGETS TAP-TO-PAY USERS

    “If you give the impression that you are prey, that you are lunch or dinner by way of giving up your money, it’s only a matter of time,” Stanton told Fox News Digital. “It’s not a matter of if, but when. Just because it’s never happened before, doesn’t mean that you’re untouchable – it means that you’re lucky.” 

    Stanton urges shoppers to take precautionary measures to protect themselves, especially during the holiday season. 

    He, along with the FBI, suggest shoppers should look around for anyone who may appear suspicious before approaching an ATM or exiting their vehicle in a parking lot.

    Additionally, the FBI urges individuals to vary their banking habits and stay away from a traceable routine, while also concealing their cash when leaving an ATM or store. 

    “Don’t make it easy for them,” Stanton said. “Take the money, put it deep in your pocket and go right to the car. Don’t be fanning the money, counting it out while you’re on the phone.” 

    Stanton also implores shoppers who may find themselves in a dangerous situation to simply hand over the money if they are approached by a criminal. 

    “If you’re in the middle of it, give it up,” he said. “Whether the money is from the ATM, that can be replaced – not your life. Toss the money and run the other way if you’re able to.”

    As Americans are taking to the stores to get a jump start on their holiday shopping, Stanton urges buyers to keep personal safety at the forefront of their minds as they buy their gifts for the season. 

    “While you’re doing your holiday shopping, so are the bad guys,” Stanton said. “While you’re looking for that deal or to buy that expensive item, they’re watching you and are like, ‘Oh, I like that person’s taste. That’s what their gift is, and it’s going to be my possession.’ You know, put that in your mind, and it makes you a little bit more aware.”

  • Innovation Often Means Teaching Against The Grain – TeachThought

    Recently I came across this interesting article: Shifting from Pedagogy to Heutagogy and whilst espousing all contained within, it got me thinking about the inescapable perils faced when adopting this and other progressive forms of teaching.

    Going against the grain can be a lonely experience at times, and whilst sound theory and instinct act as a nice warm blanket against the cold, one could well do with a practical survival guide to assist in implementing new practice. Teachers need to be prepared for the reality of what lies ahead of them to assist in the reshaping of their classrooms, and to ultimately strengthen their resolve in maintaining the chosen epistemology.

    Most progressive teaching models from Heutagogy, Constructivism, to PBL concern themselves essentially, as much as possible, with placing the process and outcomes of learning in the hands of the learner. But let’s cut to the chase here, implementing such pedagogy is very messy, requires enormous patience, a degree of pragmatism, and most importantly, needs a teacher of great skill who can de-school their students to engage with it.

    1. De-schooling means re-tooling. 

    When shifting your teaching practice to a style that centers itself more on the learner and less on the teacher, be prepared for many students (and parents) to vehemently complain that you are not teaching them, and the inevitable confidence killing that these savage claims create. Never is this feeling stronger when you have students of good ability beginning to complain. In these times it can seem as though you are robbing Peter to pay Paul, but in order to counter such occasion, ensure you have a very well thought-out plan and rationale that can be defended in case your line manager decides to investigate their ire, and more importantly, one that you can talk yourself through in predictable moments of doubt.

    Always remember what constitutes real learning, and you’ll be fine.

    2. Be pragmatic.

    Having said that, it would be wise to initiate the students with small doses of the new style, easing them in to what can be for many an uncomfortable territory. Imagine the look on most students’ faces if you begin the unit by saying ’Ok, here are the outcomes you need to achieve by the end of the unit, but you design the learning to achieve it.’ This is not just throwing students into the deep end. This is dropping them out of a helicopter into the middle of the ocean.

    You need to set up the space, set up the culture for them to succeed in: how to research, how to work cooperatively, how to set incremental goals, how to manage time, how to work independently. Remember, by the end of high school, students have had up to 11+ years of teacher-led learning, and as they get older, have been told probably thousands of times how important it is to achieve a certain grade, a grade which may seem in jeopardy without the strong lead of the teacher.

    This blending is exactly what I find myself doing. I always begin a unit with a strong learner-based approach, and slowly incorporate a much more guided flow towards the end as we approach assessment. No matter what anyone says, it is at the end of the unit that we have to be pragmatic: students will be tested on specific learning outcomes, and there’s a lot at stake for me as a teacher if they aren’t met. The overall aim however is to continually manipulate the ratio in favor of learner-based learning.

    3. Patience (amongst great mess) is a virtue. 

    This is where lots of patience comes in. With some groups, it may take much much longer to make it standard practice. You have to remember that to achieve success with student-centered learning is by no means an easy feat, and so you must be patient with yourself as you try to get it right. You have to be especially patient with the messiness of it all.

    The messiness can be overwhelming at times, particularly with learners who have been largely disconnected to learning. For them, it can seem like a free ride, a chance to do nothing, and the compulsion to manage and structure such occasions by reverting to old tricks is strong. In such instances, guidance and coercion down a certain path may be the only chance of keeping the dream alive. But this needn’t mean that it has to be completely teacher-led. Ensuring students arrive at an end outcome doesn’t mean that there is only one way to get there.

    Sensible bridging strategies are not compromises, but smart decisions made to stay afloat.

    4. No pain, no gain.

    If it all sounds quite daunting, that’s because it is. But we shouldn’t expect any less, because after all we are talking about perfecting teaching models that take a teacher to the top of the game. The number of times I’ve fallen off the wagon are too countless to name, but I always return, knowing that the learning is significantly stronger and that ironically, eventually the compulsory testing yields better results. 

    But more than that, I keep returning because when it works, the feeling that I get observing students learning for themselves and assuming ownership of their experience is one of pure joy, and always confirms why I love education.

  • Jonathan Bailey crowned People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2025 – National | Globalnews.ca

    Jonathan Bailey has been named the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine for 2025.

    The magazine’s pick was announced Monday night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bailey takes the mantle from The Office and Jack Ryan star John Krasinski, who was the 2024 selection.

    The Wicked: For Good actor is the first openly gay man to be named People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive in the title’s 40-year history.

    Bailey had audiences swooning as Prince Fiyero in his 2024 big-screen debut in Wicked, the popular movie musical whose second half arrives in theatres Nov. 21.

    He dripped with charm as Lord Anthony Bridgerton on Netflix’s Bridgerton, and earned a 2024 Emmy nomination for his role in the Showtime series Fellow Travelers. Most recently, he starred in Jurassic World Rebirth, which came out in July.

    The 37-year-old British actor said it was a “huge” honour to be given the title of Sexiest Man Alive.

    “Obviously, I’m incredibly flattered. And it’s completely absurd,” Bailey told the magazine.

    “It’s a big deal because it’s the 40th anniversary of Sexiest Man Alive. Where were you when you got the call for this?” Fallon asked Bailey.

    Bailey said he first heard about the title at the beginning of 2025 while appearing in a production of Shakespeare’s Richard II.

    “The only thing madder than doing Richard II was to be invited into this,” he said. “And also in 2025, I’m sort of thrilled that People magazine have invited someone in, bestowed this honour on someone who can really cherish the value of a sexy man.”

    When asked if he thinks people are going to treat him differently after being named Sexiest Man Alive, Bailey laughed and said, “I f—ing hope so.”

    Bailey, the cover story in People’s edition coming out Friday, had to stay tight-lipped about the news. But he admitted to the magazine that he couldn’t keep it a complete secret — he shared the news with his dog, Benson, who will also be featured in the magazine.

    When asked who will give him the most grief when they find out about his new title, Bailey said a lot of his friends.

    “They will be furious that I haven’t told them and then they’ll just squeal with delight. And also they’ve seen me grow up, you know like the magic behind the mask of being identified as a sexy man is that there are other truths that they know and they’ve witnessed,” Bailey told People.

    Bailey’s Wicked castmates, including Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo and Jeff Goldblum, all took to Instagram to celebrate his new title in a video.

    “Congratulations to our boy Jonathan Bailey,” director Jon M. Chu said.

    “He’s the sexiest man alive not only on this planet but in the solar system and the universe and any multiverse,” Goldblum said while showing off his T-shirt featuring a photo of Bailey.

    “You’re the kindest and most brilliant and beautiful inside as well,” Grande said.

    The first Sexiest Man Alive was Mel Gibson in 1985. Other past recipients include Brad Pitt, George Clooney, John F. Kennedy Jr., David Beckham, Michael B. Jordan, John Legend, Dwayne Johnson, Paul Rudd, Pierce Brosnan and Patrick Dempsey.

  • Note left at renter’s door by stranger reveals chilling secret from 1980s

    A California man received a mysterious handwritten note on his front door earlier this year—and it’s giving people online chills.

    Jacob, who lives near Long Beach, said the note appeared on his door on June 18, left by an elderly man who claimed to have once lived in the same house in the 1980s. The message, written on lined notebook paper and said: “Hello, My name is [redacted]. In the early ’80s, I lived here. Something strange happened in the back bedroom. I was wondering if it still happens. I think it was a ghost.”

    The unusual letter continued with the man’s contact details, inviting Jacob to call him “if it still comes.”

    Jacob said in the post that the note “gave me the spooks for a couple days,” though he explained that nothing out of the ordinary has happened since he moved in.

    “I’ve lived here about two years. No strange or paranormal activity—yet, at least,” Jacob told Newsweek.

    Viral Reaction

    Months later, Jacob decided to share the eerie encounter on Reddit after discovering the r/Weird subreddit. Just in time for Halloween. 

    “[I] just thought it was strange but didn’t post it online until I found the r/weird subreddit and thought it could be fitting,” he said.

    His post quickly went viral, gaining over 26,000 upvotes and thousands of comments from amused, and occasionally sympathetic, Reddit users.

    In the comments, people shared their reactions. “Poor dude has been wondering for decades if that place is as haunted as he remembers. I’d call him up and let him know the presence seems to have moved on, just to give him some peace of mind,” user Platitude_Platypus said.

    While UrsusRenata joked: “Ooo, I found a new retirement hobby!” 

    “The letter was pretty decent and he didn’t do anything creepy, so I would call and tell him that nothing is happening, at least to get it out of his mind,” 1saylor1 said. 

    Despite its eerie premise, Jacob said the response from strangers has been heartwarming rather than frightening.

    “The reaction to the post is awesome,” he said. “Several people have reached out to me believing that the man could be a long lost family member.”

    This is not the first time a mysterious note has left a homeowner shocked. Earlier this year, a Gen Z woman found a note outside her home from a “secret admirer” that left her scared to leave the house. 

    While another strange note left in a mailbox in a small town left a family feeling both concerned and a little worried.
