If you’re tired of dust and dander in your home or if you’re always looking for a way to nix unpleasant home odors caused by your four-legged friend, it may be time to buy an air purifier. Today specifically may be the time, since the beloved Bissel Air320 smart air purifier is currently 59% off.

Loved by pet owners, parents and people who like breathing clean air, this purifier has a fabric pre-filter, an activated carbon filter and a HEPA filter to capture 99.97% of large and fine particles. It also picks up smoke, smells from food and cooking, gases, pollen and other airborne allergens.

Not to mention, it looks pretty sleek ― almost like a vintage speaker.

This air purifier is certified by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers and refreshes air in spaces up to 1,582 square feet in one hour, so it’s perfect for living rooms, basements or other large spaces. The lowest of its five fan speeds can be super quiet, making it a great purifier for a bedroom, too.

The Bissell Air320 has auto-adjusting fans and can give you air quality feedback as it’s working. It will let you know when it’s time to replace the filter, so you never need to play the guessing game wondering if it’s still working. Twenty-five inches high, it has chic tapered legs and a modern shape that will make it a welcome functional and stylish addition to any home.

With a 4.6-star overall rating at Amazon from thousands of reviews, this air purifier is a fan favorite. Here’s what some happy customers had to say:

This air filter is worth the money. The auto feature enables the device to detect the purity of the air and adjust the airflow accordingly. You can also override the auto feature and set the fan speed to your desired setting. On the lowest setting, it’s whisper quiet but on the highest setting, it sounds like an industrial fan — which is exactly what you want for purifying a lot of air as quickly as possible. The filter access is super convenient, making changing filters easy and fast. There is a little air sensor on the side that requires cleaning every six months but all that entails is a little wipe down. This thing is also super stylish and easy to set up — simply remove the filters from the bags and re-install them, then plug it in and turn it on! 10/10, would recommend without hesitation” — Mischa

This purifier is astonishingly good. It says our air is super clean. A ‘3’ or ‘6’ is on the screen and it shuts down until it detects something! We needed to cut a piece of cabinet out of our kitchen last week and while we were doing that, this purifier kicked on full bore on its own! There was a slight burning smell from the cutting and this machine read 200 something with orange lighting. It ran for 30 mins and we watched the number go down down down. Once it was down to ‘3’ it went quiet again. This wasn’t in the kitchen. It was in the living room. I was shocked that it detected and cleaned up the smoky smell from 30 feet away. Before this incident, I wasn’t sure it did much. Now I’m a true believer. It does the same thing when I cook fish. We set the filters on Subscribe and Save to auto ship every 6 months.” — J&S

“Our dryer hose disconnected and we didn’t realize it. Our house was so cloudy, it looked like we were walking through fog, and everything was covered in a fresh coating of dust every day! My husband figured out what had happened, and my daughter had just bought this air purifier, so we purchased one. Our air quality went from 999 down to 2 in a week! Now we can breathe clean air and not be embarrassed by all of the dust.”— Lori

“We ordered to try and help with allergies for everyone in the family. We also have 2 small dogs so trying to help with smell. After about 24/48hrs we could really tell a difference. A few days later is when I figured out just how well it was working on smells. I cooked bacon for breakfast and most days you could smell it in the house all day long. We ate and I noticed when we were leaving about 30min later the air quality was up to 18. We came home 2 hours later and you couldn’t smell the bacon at all and the quality was back down around 4. Our home is split level and this unit sits upstairs in the dining room, area it’s covering is about 2,500 square feet. I have another one ordered for our downstairs area also. I would not hesitate to recommend this item.”mystery girl

  • AI Is Poised to Change How We Shop: Here’s What You Need to Know | Entrepreneur

AI Is Poised to Change How We Shop: Here’s What You Need to Know | Entrepreneur

    [ad_1]

Opinions expressed by Entrepreneur contributors are their own.

I had a conversation with a robot recently, and I have to admit, it wasn’t half bad. Like most consumers, I typically dread automated interactions when I call for customer support, but on this occasion, the bot was surprisingly helpful and my issue was resolved before the urge to hit zero for human intervention took over.

It got me thinking, for all the legitimate concerns around the rise of AI, as the technology improves it offers a clear advantage to online businesses: It’s leveling up the baseline of the customer experience.

The AI market size is projected to grow from $86.9 billion last year to $407 billion by 2027. With virtually every industry looking to scale operations through AI, the impact on ecommerce will be staggering. Yet, as the online customer experience improves, I predict we’ll see a return to some of the traditional ways brands have differentiated themselves in the past. Here’s why.

Related: 5 Ways the AI Revolution Can Help Your Ecommerce Business

AI is leveling the playing field for customer service

The integration of Siri and Alexa into our lives happened slowly. It started with simple voice commands like making a call or relaying the weather and stunted when we asked more complex questions that were met with an unreliable response.

Now, as 300 million American households actively use smart home devices, voice assistants like Siri and Alexa have become an accepted part of our daily lives and as the technology improves we’re seeing businesses from Shopify to Zoom to Alibaba, launch AI-powered assistants to service their clients at scale.

From an ecommerce perspective, as improved AI assistants and super-powered chatbots rapidly evolve and become more accessible to businesses of all sizes, brands will have to find new ways to differentiate their customer service.

Traditionally, brands that hire people who are passionate about the products and services they sell and empower employees to go above and beyond to satisfy their customers, experience greater customer loyalty and can even charge up to 5% more for products.

These old-school principles of customer service could prove as relevant as ever in the age of AI when human capital largely informs the automated customer experience.

Businesses that focus on their ‘why’ will have an edge

At present, a brand’s ability to compete on search and have its products or services easily discovered online can make or break a business. Likewise, a frictionless checkout experience gives ecommerce behemoths a strong competitive edge — it’s the reason Amazon had nearly 40% of the ecommerce market share in the U.S. last year.

AI is poised to change that. Take visual search technology, for example. Once a novelty for ecommerce sites, advanced visual search tools such as uploading an image to find a similar product or virtual try-on features are now becoming more widely adopted by both startups and established online retailers.

Similarly, Shopify’s Shop Pay is democratizing checkout, making a seamless experience accessible for any business. As these technologies become more mainstream and less of a competitive differentiator, businesses will be forced to rethink their value proposition.

Even in the current market, studies show consumers are four to six times more likely to purchase from and champion purpose-driven companies. As AI helps equalize the customer experience online, companies that dive deeper into their “why” and integrate intention into every touch point of the customer journey will have an advantage.

Related: Top 6 Ecommerce Trends You Need to Know in 2023

Niche businesses will be better positioned

The success of an entrepreneur used to be widely determined by one’s ability to mount a business financially and manage its logistics. As AI makes it increasingly easier to start and manage a business, companies that narrow in on a niche will set themselves apart.

American heritage brand L.L. Bean is a great example. The 111-year-old retailer successfully transitioned into the digital age through thoughtful product selection and making investments in technology that brought them closer to their customer. Likewise, businesses that have a deep knowledge of their product and strong connection with their customers will be more successful in the age of AI.

AI relies heavily on data to develop personalized offerings. Companies with a niche focus are better positioned to understand the unique preferences and pain points of their customers and leverage AI to create tailored solutions for them.

Similarly, companies that narrow their focus, are better positioned to act on the data collected from like-minded customers to identify trends, anticipate market shifts and pivot based on their customers’ evolving needs.

Retailers aren’t typically the most technically-sophisticated bunch — many simply don’t have robust budgets to invest in technology. This can be true of leaders in any industry, but as AI becomes more accessible, we’re going to see a democratization of ecommerce tools, which will force businesses to compete in new ways.

  • 14 Items I Tried On That’ll Have People Asking, “Wait, That’s From Abercrombie?”

14 Items I Tried On That’ll Have People Asking, “Wait, That’s From Abercrombie?”

    [ad_1]

Welcome to Let’s Get a Room, a series where editor Eliza Huber heads to the dressing room to try on pieces from your favorite retailers, buzzy items, and new collections. Think of this column as a detailed guide to the pieces that are actually worth buying and the ones that, unfortunately, looked better online—no returns necessary.

When I really think about it, I’m 99% sure that Abercrombie was the first store I ever went in on my own. I’m 100% sure of the first piece I ever bought there, 1. because I wore it at least four times a week for years, and 2. because it was my first time ever buying a clothing item with my own money. They were dark-wash skinny jeans with zippered hems from the Kids store at my local, suburban-Chicago mall. I saved up for them for weeks.

For the next half a decade or so, I was obsessed with Abercrombie, wearing it from head-to-toe every time I had a casual-dress day at my elementary school (we wore uniforms) and in pieces once I got to middle school and was allowed to dress as I pleased. By the time I entered high school, though, my interest in the brand’s signature aesthetic had waned as I started wanting to look older and more like the models I saw in fashion magazines and designer advertising campaigns. In turn, I stopped visiting its stores. In fact, I didn’t step foot in one for close to ten years.

Given my childhood infatuation, my excitement couldn’t be contained when I started noticing that Abercrombie was going in a different direction a few years back—a more timeless, elevated, and style-forward direction. It grew even more when I was invited to preview its new New York City flagship store, positioned on Fifth Avenue, adjacent to Ferragamo, Cartier, and the Museum of Modern Art. (Chic, I know.) Like a kid in a candy store, I immediately started grabbing pieces that unlike the ones I remembered from my tween days, looked utterly sophisticated and grown up. Below, check out all 14 of the ones I brought into the dressing room. I promise, if you too haven’t immersed yourself in the Abercrombie world since you were young, you won’t believe that these are from the same brand.

While fall may not have officially arrived, the spirit of the season is already in the air. We believe there’s no such thing as starting too early when it comes to lighting Bath & Body Works Halloween candles and brainstorming costume ideas. And though it may seem premature, it’s the perfect time to stock up on all your necessities, including Halloween-themed clothes, which just dropped at Old Navy.

Every year, shoppers erupt into a frenzy over the brand’s costumes, pajamas, and accessories — and this year’s no exception. The brand’s offerings infamously go out of stock fast, and that’s the case across all categories, from women and men to kids, babies, and toddlers. In other words, now’s the time to scoop Old Navy’s themed PJs and cheeky tees before they fly off the shelves and go out of stock online. To help, we rounded up a fun mix of clothing and accessories for everyone from newborns to grownups. Remember, the clock is ticking, and these coveted items won’t linger for long.

Target is one of our all-time favorite places to shop; after all, who can resist the elevated home decor and furniture offerings, the expansive beauty section, and of course its fashion offerings — all at an affordable price point?! We’re especially impressed with the retailer’s wide assortment of high-quality chic clothing and accessories, whether it’s
gorgeous dresses , the ultra-soft Stars Above pajamas, or comfortable footwear, like the editor- and TikTok-loved Blakely Rhinestone Mule Heels. However, when it comes to experimenting with our personal style, we always turn to the brand’s Future Collective line.

Target’s Future Collective is an apparel and accessories line that partners with various style and culture influencers to create a limited-edition, trend-driven collection. This is the collection to browse if you’re looking to add something unique to your closet. Target previously worked with style expert Kahlana Barfield Brown, NYC-based fashion editor and stylist Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, and Brooklyn-based fashion creative Alani Noelle. For its fourth installment, Target tapped Atlanta-based fashion influencer and creative Reese Blutstein, who’s all about vintage trends and neutral, earthy tones.

Blutstein’s Future Collective collection is perfect for the fall with tailored blazers and trench coats, cardigans and chunky sweaters, and casual yet statement-making denim. The line will add that quintessential autumnal vibe to your wardrobe, whether it’s a flowy pleated midi dress that lends itself to layering or closet staples like a button-down bodysuit. The prints and patterns offered are ideal for the color-changing leaves, the pumpkin patches, and everything else fall has to offer. The collection also has a cute croissant bag we’re eyeing for a statement-making handbag. The clothing is available in sizes ranging from XXS-4X and 00-30, with most pieces under $45.

Check out a sneak peek of some of our favorite pieces ahead. You can shop the entire collection on Aug. 20.

  • 10 Tops to Try If You Have a Small Bust

10 Tops to Try If You Have a Small Bust

    [ad_1]

As POPSUGAR editors, we independently select and write about stuff we love and think you’ll like too. If you buy a product we have recommended, we may receive affiliate commission, which in turn supports our work.

If your bust is on the smaller side, you know that shopping for tops can oftentimes be a challenge. On one hand, you want to feel empowered to wear whatever you want — there’s no real harm in that, right? But on the other, not all tops are created equal; stuff can either look way too baggy, make you appear flatter than you actually are, or might simply feel like a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen. Fortunately, we understand the struggle all too well, and our editors have developed a particular expertise in understanding what the most flattering tops for a small chest are — and more importantly, where to shop them.

What Are the Best Types of Tops For Small Busts?

As with every body type or size, some styles are designed to fit better than others, and such is the case for those with smaller busts. There are a couple things to keep in mind when shopping out the best type of top or silhouette for your chest size. Because you might not have to worry about cleavage as extensively as those with larger busts, you have the freedom to wear tighter, more body-hugging pieces — like vests, corset tops, and even lightweight tank tops.

While oversize fashion might be on trend, it also brings with it a lot of extra material, which might look overwhelming if you’ve got a smaller bust. That being said, if you’d like to create a little more volume up top, you might opt for something with boob-lifting capabilities like a bustier or curate a more layered look with pieces like a classic T-shirt and button-down layered on top. The options are truly endless, and you’ll have even more to take into consideration depending on the occasion, dress code, or season you might be shopping for; sleeveless tops are always a winner, but off-the-shoulder long-sleeve blouses are great alternatives when the temperatures start cooling down, too.

With all this in mind, ahead, we rounded up the 10 best tops for small busts, with styles that come in a wide range of silhouettes, fits, and even prices. Whether you’re looking for a breezy everyday basic or a cool statement piece, we’ve got you covered. Keep reading to shop them all and grab your favorites while they’re still in stock.

  • “RHONY”‘s Jessel Taank Shares Her Must Haves: From a Givenchy Diaper Bag to Paravel Luggage

“RHONY”‘s Jessel Taank Shares Her Must Haves: From a Givenchy Diaper Bag to Paravel Luggage

    [ad_1]

As POPSUGAR editors, we independently select and write about stuff we love and think you’ll like too. If you buy a product we have recommended, we may receive affiliate commission, which in turn supports our work.

Jessel Taank is making a splash on our TVs as a new cast member in season 14 of “The Real Housewives of New York,” but deciding to be a part of the hit franchise wasn’t easy. “Being Indian and from a private culture, it definitely took a lot of back-and-forth and a lot of conversations, but the more I spoke to NBC and Bravo and the powers that be, the more I was like, this could be an amazing opportunity because there’s never been an Indian in this position before,” she says. Taank is a fashion publicist and founder of PR firm The Know — and this is her first time appearing on a reality show. “I’m gonna show what a modern Indian woman first generation living in the United States looks like.”

Being the first-ever Indian-origin Housewife on Bravo inspired her tagline, which she says in the show’s opening sequence: “I always bring the flavor. It’s not my fault you don’t have any taste.” Coming up with the now-iconic line wasn’t easy. “Choosing a tagline is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do,” she says. “How do you find one sentence that packages you as a person and then you share that with the entire country and the world?!”

Taank got recommendations from NBC and a few friends, but most suggestions had the word “spice” in it, a cliché attached to Indian culture that she didn’t want to spotlight. A good friend who happens to be a writer penned her official tagline, and Taank loves that it’s a subtle nod to her roots while also speaking to her connection with fashion and style. “I thought it was really fun. It’s a little bit cheeky and not cheesy — we already don’t like cheese,” she says.

But the tagline was just the beginning. Taank acknowledges there were also challenges behind the scenes, like feeling pressure to be perfect. “I think everyone’s so nervous and you have to be this perfect person and especially Indian women, you have to be this perfect version of what an Indian woman is,” she explains. “I can honestly say the pressure of all of that is so overwhelming, you can be real and authentic and transparent about what you’re going through. It’s OK.” Taank is pleasantly surprised by the support she’s been receiving from the South Asian community, noting that although the community are their biggest critics, they do come together and support each other.

Whether it’s speaking on her IVF journey or how her relationship with her husband is portrayed on the show, Taank has no regrets about being authentic to who she is. “If I can empower people with this platform and the show, that’s all I care about.” Taank has specifically endured criticism about the state of her marriage and sex life, including divorce speculation. Addressing the topic, she tells POPSUGAR: “A lot of people are questioning my husband, Pavit, and I right now . . . He has been the biggest pillar of strength for me for my family. I just need readers to know that, having a partner that’s supportive and is always by your side is the only reason I actually got through this in the way that I did.”

As someone who works in fashion, it’s no surprise that Taank’s personal style is one to emulate. But fans might be shocked to learn she frequents one of the most affordable fast-fashion retailers. “First of all, don’t sleep on Zara,” she says. “If you just need staples, I just go there; the white T-shirt, the denim jeans, it’s so good.” She also loves shopping at Revolve and Fwrd for more contemporary brands and special occasion dresses, and she’s currently loving the work of New York-based designer Ronny Kobo.

Her style philosophy involves embracing bold accessories, from handbags to jewelry. “Everything I do, I do it with a little bit of a twist, so it’s always accessorized to make it a statement, or my earrings will always be very flamboyant. I do think the accessorizing is key,” she says. Taank is never worried about being overdressed and points out that fashion in New York is all about the freedom of self-expression. “You can be truly who you want to be . . . and no one’s gonna judge you here.” And if they do, the critique better come from someone like “RHONY” castmate Jenna Lyons.

Lyons, a revered style icon and J.Crew’s former executive creative director and president, gave Taank pointed style advice in episode two. When Taank wore two logo-heavy items at once, Lyons quipped: “Wait, no. You can’t wear Alexander Wang on your back and Balenciaga on your bag.” Taank tells POPSUGAR she wasn’t offended. “[Lyons] was 100 percent right, I’m glad she checked me. Thank god she didn’t let me go out like that; it would have been over,” Taank says. “She has this style sensibility that truly is just like she can do no wrong in my eyes.”

Taank’s passion for fashion goes beyond the show, as she’s in the process of launching Oushq, a retail platform for South Asian and Middle Eastern designers. She wants to streamline the shopping process by offering standard sizing with optional tailoring services, two- to three-day shipping times, and a vast selection of up-and-coming designers. “Indian fashion is taking a global stage. We’re having a moment with Gaurav Gupta, who’s seen on every single red carpet right now. It’s mind-blowing, and he’s showed in Paris Couture Week. The same goes for Rahul Mishra dressing Zendaya.” Taank wants to showcase Indian fashion on a bigger scale and bring more designers to the US market, emphasizing that it’s not just a platform for South Asian and Middle Eastern shoppers. Some of her favorite designers and brands include Abhishek Sharma, Kamaali Couture, and Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika Sharma.

When she’s not giving British banter on “RHONY,” she’s spending time with her husband and her adorable twin boys, as well as watching “Love Island.” Ahead, she shared her current favorite products, including a Givenchy diaper bag and a lightweight moisturizer.

As POPSUGAR editors, we independently select and write about stuff we love and think you’ll like too. If you buy a product we have recommended, we may receive affiliate commission, which in turn supports our work.

Over the years, DSW has evolved into the ultimate one-stop-shop for shoe enthusiasts looking to browse exclusive collections and capsules from some of the biggest brand names in footwear — and the retailer’s newest collaboration marks perhaps its most iconic to date. Newly debuted, the Le Tigre x DSW capsule celebrates the most defining traits of the heritage brand — think sporty athleisure styles with a deep history tied to New York City’s street culture — and elevates them via an accessible, first-of-its-kind sneaker collection that’s available to shop exclusively at DSW.com.

Le Tigre’s cultural influence on streetwear has been well-documented. Founded in 1977, the international label was designed to change the narrative around fashion by offering audacious athletic styles that prioritized comfort and versatility. The brand became especially popular back in the ’80s as celebrities and athletes alike began to adopt the label’s signature silhouettes; LL Cool J, Wilt Chamberlain, and even Ronald Reagan were reported as having worn the brand on a number of occasions.

Although it’s great to soak up some sun and gnarly waves, it’s often a hassle to get your beach essentials — including coolers, beach chairs, backpacks, and other things — from your car to the shoreline. Nobody likes to navigate through a gravelly parking lot and annoying sand with arms full of goodies for the beach.

It’s widely known that Target has mastered the art of collaboration. With a track record spanning more than two decades, the retailer’s history of partnering with designers began in 1999 with the renowned American architect Michael Graves — and it’s been a hit ever since. Who can forget the frenzy surrounding the Lily Pulitzer line in 2019? Anna Sui’s “Gossip Girl”-inspired line? Or the triple designer revelation in 2021, featuring Rixo, Alexis, and Christopher John Rogers? Target’s knack for surprises continues as they unveil their latest venture: a partnership with the timeless American clothing brand Rowing Blazers.

The upcoming limited-edition fall collection arrives just in time for the academic year, seamlessly fusing contemporary trends with iconic preppy styles. Don’t worry, though; when it comes to catering to your unique taste, rest assured you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. The Rowing Blazers x Target collaboration boasts an impressive array of over 100 vibrant, sport-inspired pieces catering to individuals of all ages. From adults to kids, the collection spans apparel and accessories, encompassing rugby shirts, crewnecks, blazers, trousers, and jackets, as well as home, outdoor play, and even options for your four-legged friends.

Sizes will range from XXS to 5X and, per usual, affordability takes center stage. Prices will start as low as $5, and the majority of items will be priced under $30. For context, most of Rowing Blazers’s clothing goes for over $100, which is just one reason why this collaboration is so major. We already spot plaid pieces similar to the Rowing Blazers Indian Madras Camp Shirt and matching Madras shorts, as well as graphic sweaters like the “I’m a Luxury” Sweater famously worn by Princess Diana.

If the photos accurately preview what’s ahead, we’re in for a treat. One snapshot reveals a green velvet hat with the Rowing Blazers logo, a striped football, a chevron paddleball set, and blue-and-white dinnerware plates. Another showcases models donning graphic sweaters, cropped polo shirts, lively outerwear, and captivating patchwork plaid silhouettes.

Excited? Us, too. Make sure to circle early September on your calendar, because that’s when the full Rowing Blazers X Target lookbook will be revealed. While the exact date for its release is yet to be announced, mark your calendars for the official availability on Sunday, Sept. 23, while supplies last.

Keep scrolling to shop our favorite Rowing Blazers pieces and stay tuned for more details on their collaboration with Target as they’re announced.

Being blessed with supermodel-like legs is not always everything that it’s cracked up to be — just ask any objectively tall person whose dealt with the struggle of shopping out jeans or pants. Even as the denim industry has grown to be more size-inclusive, brands have still struggled to create tall jeans for women that fit just right. The ideal style is a bottom that covers the leg without being too baggy, accentuates the figure without feeling too tight on the hips, and sits just right on the waist without showing too much ankle at the hem. The task of shopping out these types of denim styles is, as you can imagine, much easier said than done.

Fortunately, I understand the struggle all too well — I myself am 5’10” after all and have dedicated a lot of time to jean shopping over the years (honestly more than I’d care to admit). As a result, I have a unique expertise for what to consider when shopping out the best jeans for tall women, and even rounded up a few of the best styles you can buy online, below.

While the standard inseam on jeans is somewhere between 30 to 32 inches, taller girls needs something closer to 34 inches. Luckily, so many popular brands and retailers are releasing more tall and petite options in regular collections. Ahead, shop my favorite picks from brands like Madewell, J.Crew, Amazon, and more.

Lala Kent knows a thing or two about good fashion — as evidenced by her wide-ranging style choices on “Vanderpump Rules.” So, when the reality TV star took to Amazon Live earlier this week to share her favorite affordable fashion essentials from Amazon, we (along with the global collective of Bravo fans) naturally couldn’t help but tune into the stream — and immediately add every single item to our shopping carts.

ICYMI: Kent teamed up with Amazon for a livestream event where she dished on everything from the “weird” filming of season 11 — and all of the drama that’s proceeded in the wake up Scandoval saga — to the buzz surrounding BravoCon 2023 and even all of the products she loves to shop from Amazon (you know, when she’s not busy delivering the next viral, drama-ridden spectacle in the Bravo universe).

Despite the star’s luxurious lifestyle, her fashion picks proved to be refreshingly affordable, with pieces that ranged in everything from a printed head scarf and braided block heels to a cozy loungewear set and a floral-adorned beach tote — all uniquely catered to her style, perfect for summer, and (perhaps best of all) under $50.

“Yes, we’re at the tail-end [of summertime], but if this weather that’s happening in LA right now is any indication of what it is to come, it’s nonstop blazing heat,” Kent said at the beginning of her livestream. As for her picks, the star admitted that the affordability of her haul was intentional as her fashion vibe is “baller on a budget,” saying: “I like to look expensive, but have it be an illusion.”

Ahead, shop some of the standout pieces from Kent’s affordable Amazon fashion haul.

If you’ve got curves, swimsuit shopping can feel like an abyss of confusion. Well, fear no more, because we’ve done the hard work for you. If you’ve got a bigger booty, these 14 pieces will look amazing on you, and they’re not all what you’d expect. The trick to finding a flattering swimsuit that works for your body type, especially if you’re curvier, is landing on the proper fit. Think high-cut legs (a budding trend that hails from the ’80s and is taking over Hollywood), side ties, and adjustable coverage, so you can choose just how much skin you want to reveal depending on your mood. Now, before you get up in arms, hear us out. A high cut makes legs appear longer, and an adjustable silhouette lets you control how tight or loose your bottoms are. Plus, we love asymmetrical straps and ties that add a little embellishment to your swimsuit. Now, all you have to do is find your beach.

This probably is no secret to you, but cargo pants are proving themselves as one of the most highly covetable trends for this season and next. So it’s no surprise that Old Navy’s womenswear offerings are stocked with them. As someone who prefers adaptable styles to workwear-inspired designs, I was thrilled when I came across the High-Waisted StretchTech Wide-Leg Cargo Pants ($40) in the brand’s new arrivals section. The retailer describes them as “sleek” and “endlessly versatile,” which was music to my ears. I swiftly added the beige color dubbed “A Stone’s Throw” to my shopping — here’s my honest review on whether you should scoop them up, too.

    Main Image

What I Love About the Old Navy High-Waisted StretchTech Wide-Leg Cargo Pants

What I love most about these cargo pants is that they can be dressed up or down. I teamed them with my go-to white ribbed crop top and sandals to work from home, but I think they’d look just as good with a more elevated ensemble for a day (or night) on the town, like a thong heel and a coordinating cardigan set.

I’m also a big fan of their details. They boast on-seam hip pockets, a generously-sized flap-cargo pocket on the left thigh, and adjustable drawcord hems — a convenient feature to cinch tightly or untie according to your chosen footwear. And lastly, the material choice leaves me thoroughly impressed. The lightweight and quick-drying fabric is comfortable even on hot summer days.

    POPSUGAR Photography | Marisa Petrarca

What’s Worth Noting About the Old Navy High-Waisted StretchTech Wide-Leg Cargo Pants

What’s worth noting about these cargo pants is that they run big, to the extent that they were slipping off my waist. I cinched the drawstring super tight while testing them, but determined I’m better off exchanging them for a size small. While they might look normal in the accompanying photos, please note that I pulled them so tightly that it’s placing stress on the waistband fabric. (Please note that they’re not supposed to have a rippled look.)

Shoppers agree that they’re bigger than expected. One person who gave them a five-star rating deemed them “super comfy and versatile” but advised following my lead and going down a full size. Also, reviewers have consistently labeled the fit as “loose,” a trend prominently highlighted on the website’s product page (see the screenshot below).

Who Are the Old Navy High-Waisted StretchTech Wide-Leg Cargo Pants for?

These cargos are best for those who want to partake in the cargo trend but want a versatile pair that can be dressed up or down. They’re great for those searching for a lightweight, silky silhouette that transitions seamlessly from summer to fall or spring.

Additional Details About the Old Navy High-Waisted StretchTech Wide-Leg Cargo Pants

    • These cargos come in five colors: black, dark green, teal, beige, and peach.
    • They come in extended sizing, particularly tall and petite. Regular sizes range from XS-4X.
    • They’re made of 92 percent polyester and eight perfect spandex.
    • The brand recommends machine-washing them on cold and tumble-drying it on low to keep it in tip-top shape.
