For over a century, they’ve provided support with key programs under the sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness, Physical/Mental Health, and Political Awareness.
Since its founding, more than 300,000 women have joined the sisterhood of predominantly Black, college educated women.
Today, the globally revered sorority has 1,000 collegiate and alumnae chapters located in the United States, Canada, Japan (Tokyo and Okinawa), Germany, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Jamaica, and the Republic of Korea.

Cardi B is calmly reacting to THAT leaked recording of her estranged husband allegedly threatening to shoot her new boo “in the knee” seemingly to derail his Patriots-playing career.
Her comments come just one month after a suspicious video of her estranged husband, Offset, sprawled out in bed with infamous Instagram model Celina Powell,went viral and sent social media into detective mode. It also comes on the heels of a new video leaked by Powell in which Offset threatened to shoot the rapper’s baby daddy in the “knee.”
During an X Spaces session on January 12, Cardi made it clear that fans waiting for a fiery response to the drama shouldn’t hold their breath. Instead, she revealed that the viral clips actually gave her something unexpected: clarity.

“A lot of people been waiting for some type of response. Actually, no. Is the total opposite. I’m actually thankful for certain information. I’ve been expressing to people behind the scenes that somebody is using different people as a mouthpiece to spread misinformation about me, about my relationship, and various different platforms,” the mother of three said during the X Spaces session, according to a video shared by BardisMedia on Jan. 12.
Cardi B claimed she was “getting harassed” by someone who was determined to spread lies about her career and personal life.
The “Up” hitmaker went on to allege that she had been “getting harassed” by someone for “a very long time,” claiming the “obsessed” individual was determined to tear her down. Still, Cardi told fans she refused to let the chaos distract her from what really mattered: her career and her upcoming tour.
“A lot of crazy, weird things has been happening behind the scenes, just like sometimes, like I even have nightmares, because when somebody is this obsessed with you and wants to ruin you, you don’t know what they want from you—not caring about them, not bothering them, and they still bothering you. It freaks you out,” the Bronx native admitted before pivoting to business.
“Let’s talk about my tour. Things are turning out beautifully, and I want my fans to not ever get discouraged. Because this is what motherf–ers do. They try to plant a seed, hoping that it grow to discourage people to not like my music, not want to buy things for my tour, but everything is coming out great, and I don’t know how many times they’re gonna be tired of having egg in ya’ll f—ing face.”

Naturally, Cardi B’s comments reignited conversation online, especially given the timing. As previously reported, on Dec. 2, 2025, Celina Powell, known for her headline-grabbing antics,posted a video of herself in bed with Offset. The clip showed the rapper fast asleep as Powell repeatedly zoomed in on his face, seemingly determined to document her suspicious rendezvous with the hitmaker. Offset, however, appeared fast asleep and completely unaware of the recording.
In the caption, Powell hinted that more had gone on than just napping.
“Made a tape last night & all u heard was him in the video lol Offset you sleepy boy,” she wrote.
Then, in January, Powell escalated matters with another explosive claim involving the former Migos rapper. In a now-deleted Instagram Story, she alleged that Offset had threatened to shoot Cardi B’s boyfriend, NFL star Stefon Diggs, and that he refused to repay a $15,000 sum she said he owed her.
“If ANYTHING happens to me, OFFSET did it!” Powell wrote, according to a Jan. 10 post shared by The Shade Room. “Tired of this grown man threatening me almost every day and got me living in fear cuz he owes me $15K+ I tried to get my money back for weeks, and all I’ve gotten is threats…”
The InstaBaddie also shared a video that captured Offset on a FaceTime call with her, threatening to “beat,” “strip,” and shoot Diggs in the “knee.”
Powell later expanded on those allegations during an appearance on the 2 Girls From Mars podcast earlier this month. Speaking with host Milian Millie, she detailed what she described as a three-week whirlwind involving Offset, which allegedly ended with her owing $15,000. She claimed the rapper, amid his divorce from Cardi B, was financially struggling and emotionally spiraling, even referencing a video of him allegedly ranting about wanting to shoot Stefon Diggs.
According to Powell, she agreed to meet Offset at a casino with hundreds of dollars taken from her safe, money she says totaled $15,000, but never got it back. The controversial bed video, she claimed, was posted as collateral after she was left unpaid.

In an episode titled “Offset Robbed Celina Powell *Receipts*,” she revealed that something was suspicious from his random first IG call at 4 a.m. Not only did they have past beef, but she says the conversation began with him asking her how much money she has. She said he called the task “a test” of her loyalty. Flag on the play!

In the OnlyFans creator’s mind, that was “her man,” so she let the steep debt slide with the E&J-drinking deviant. She revealed screenshots of him only reaching out to her on Christmas Eve to demand more money on PayPal. Celina also showed a screen recording from Offset’s finsta with his children playing with racks of cash, so she still somehow expected to be next on Santa’s list.

The conversation turned to Offset’s personal drama, and he called Cardi’s newborn with Stefon “a bastard,” according to Celina. She also announced the “breaking news” that “Cardi has a restraining order against Offset,” and he isn’t allowed to talk to the kids. He allegedly uses calls from his other daughter as a workaround to find out what Cardi’s eldest, Kulture, says about the baby and Stefon.
The most damning revelation is a recording of Offset saying, “If I catch [Stefon], it’s going to be bad. I’m talking beat, strip, shot in the knee, all types of s**t,” he allegedly said about a career-ending attack.

Instead, Celina said he sent her proof he “lost $800,000” gambling after he repeatedly gave her the runaround.
On top of taking that loss, she claimed “Offset’s girlfriend” and two other women jumped Celina’s friend, Jordyn, at a NYE party. The two co-hosts speculated that Offset set up the whole fight, which Jordyn also alleged.
Milian and Celina also floated theories that Offset only set this series of shenanigans in motion with Celina because he knew she would expose him and make him relevant again. They also wondered whether the long-lost $15,000 was revenge for the fake pregnancy scandal five years ago. Even if Offset got the last laugh from the free promotion, he’d better hope Trap Celina doesn’t team up with his Trap Selena ex, Cardi.

About six years ago, an apprentice training to be a machinist in Washington state told her supervisor she would probably have to drop out of the training program after having her baby: She couldn’t find child care that accommodated her shift.
It was one of the first challenges Shana Peschek was tasked with solving when she became executive director of the Machinists Institute, which trains workers for jobs in the aerospace, manufacturing and automotive industries all over the state.
Peschek knew it was essential to do something for workers with young children.
“That worst shift, the new hires are going to get it. The new hires are generally younger people. They have little kids or they are going to want a little kid,” Peschek said.
“It’s beyond the cost of child care,” she said. “If they can’t find anywhere, we’re going to lose them.”
As Peschek worked on a way to address the situation, she also wondered how she could include apprenticeship in the solution. The answer: incorporating early educator apprenticeships into a custom-built child care center tailored to the trade union’s needs. Last month, The Hechinger Report wrote about San Francisco’s child care apprenticeship program.
“Apprenticeship is my jam,” said Peschek, who emphasized that apprenticeship is a mode of education, not limited to any specific profession. While the word apprentice is often associated with roles like machinists, it is just the term for an educational path that includes paid, on-the-job training. Early educator apprenticeships do just that, providing classes and training alongside paid work experience to help hopeful teachers earn required credentials and get full-time jobs. “I want that pathway available for our teachers and assistant teachers,” she said.
With a combination of institute money, grants and donations, the Machinists Institute bought land and is constructing Little Wings Early Learning Academy in Everett, Washington. Its name is inspired by the local economy, which is powered in part by a nearby Boeing factory. The center will serve workers in the trade union, who will be able to send their young children for care starting as early as 4 a.m. through as late as midnight. Care will also be available on weekends, to accommodate a range of shifts. It is scheduled to open this spring.
Machinists, maritime industry workers and other local tradespeople and apprentices will pay a discounted rate for child care, which will also be available to area residents to enroll their kids.
Peschek’s hopes are high, for all of the apprentices the center will involve.
That’s in part because of the experience some early educator apprentices have had. Apprenticeships have been a part of the trades for centuries, but they are relatively novel in education.
The option changed the course of Carlota Hernández de Cruz’s life. For years, with only an elementary school education from when she grew up in Mexico, she was the primary caregiver for her three children while her husband was the breadwinner. When her youngest child was still in child care, at a California Head Start program run by an area YMCA, she began working a few hours a day as a parent intern at the center.
She eventually encountered Pamm Shaw, who created one of the first early educator apprenticeship programs in the country for the YMCA of the East Bay, in California’s Alameda County. Shaw encouraged Hernández de Cruz to take classes and work toward becoming an early childhood teacher.
“I’m originally from Mexico,” Hernández de Cruz said, remembering her apprehension. “I came with zero English.” But Shaw was convincing.
Hernández de Cruz took classes, one or two at a time, balancing them with motherhood and homekeeping duties. Then her husband got sick and could no longer work. It took years, but she completed the courses for her associate degree. Just a few months before graduation, her husband died.

Hernández de Cruz, now 53, knew that although what she had accomplished was monumental, it wasn’t enough. Thanks to her apprenticeship, however, her bachelor’s degree coursework was paid for, even though it was sometimes a struggle to keep up with the requirements of online courses and lectures in English, while solo parenting and working.
In 2019, Hernández de Cruz earned that bachelor’s degree but turned down a job running a child care center. She wasn’t ready. When she was approached again in 2021 about a director role, at the center where she was working, she agreed. There have been ups and downs: That center closed and she was back to teaching for a while. But now she runs the Vera Casey Center, a Head Start site for infants and toddlers in Berkeley that is part of the YMCA of the East Bay.
“I feel I can say financially I’m stable,” Hernández de Cruz said, and she said she is proud of herself and her children. Her kids grew up watching their mother work and study hard and have had opportunities she didn’t when she was younger, even though she said they all faltered, and flunked a few classes, when their father died. Her younger daughter just graduated from a nursing program and her older daughter completed a bachelor’s degree in child development and is now pursuing a master’s degree. Both daughters live at home with her, as do her parents. (Her son, she said, is still taking classes and finding his way.) “I’m stable but he’s not here with us,” Hernández de Cruz said of her husband, but “being in the classroom with kids, it helped me to heal. That’s what I feel at work. I still feel happy every day.”

President Donald Trump said Saturday that the United States will temporarily “run” Venezuela following a large-scale U.S. military operation that resulted in the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores.

According to NBC News, Trump announced the decision during a press conference in Florida, where he stated the U.S. would take control of the country until a leadership transition is implemented.
“We’re going to run the country until such time as we can do a safe, proper and judicious transition,” Trump said. “And it has to be judicious, because that’s what we’re all about.”
CNN states that Trump did not provide a timeline for how long the U.S. would remain in control, nor did he outline how governance would function beyond military and economic oversight.
How the U.S. Military Operation Unfolded
According to NBC News, the operation that led to Maduro’s capture was approved by Trump more than a week in advance but was delayed several times due to adverse weather conditions.
NBC reports Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine said Trump gave the final order at 10:46 p.m. ET Friday night.
“Weather in Venezuela is always a factor this time of year,” Caine said. “The men and women of the United States military sat ready, patiently waiting for the right triggers to be met and the president to order us into action.”
NBC News reports U.S. forces arrived at Maduro’s compound by 1:01 a.m. ET Saturday and exited Venezuelan airspace by 3:29 a.m. with Maduro and Flores in custody. NewsOne reports critics call his capture an “illegal kidnapping” and the attack “immoral and irresponsible.”
Per CNN, more than 150 aircraft were deployed during the mission. Trump said no U.S. troops or equipment were lost, describing the operation as highly effective. Maduro and Flores were dragged from their bedroom by elite U.S. forces during the overnight raid.
What Happens to Maduro Now?
Trump confirmed that Maduro and Flores were transported to New York, where Maduro is expected to face long-standing drug and weapons charges.
According to NBC News, Attorney General Pam Bondi said Maduro has been indicted on charges including narco terrorism conspiracy, cocaine importation conspiracy, possession of machine guns and destructive devices, and conspiracy to possess machine guns and destructive devices.
“They will soon face the full wrath of American justice on American soil in American courts,” Bondi said.
Federal prosecutors allege Maduro “is at the forefront” of a corruption network that trafficked thousands of tons of cocaine into the United States.
“I’ve seen what we have,” Trump said. “It’s both horrible and breathtaking that something like this could have been allowed to take place for many years.”
Trump’s Plan for Venezuela and Its Oil
CNN states Trump said the U.S. will take control of Venezuela’s oil infrastructure and allow American oil companies to invest billions of dollars to rebuild the country’s energy sector.
“We’re going to have our very large United States oil companies, the biggest anywhere in the world, go in, spend billions of dollars, fix the badly broken infrastructure, the oil infrastructure, and start making money for the country,” Trump said.
CNN also reports that Trump said U.S. troops would “have a presence in Venezuela as it pertains to oil,” adding that oil revenue would be used to reimburse both Venezuelans and the United States.
“It won’t cost us anything,” Trump said. “The money coming out of the ground is very substantial.”
According to NBC News, Trump said the U.S. military is prepared to carry out a second and larger attack if necessary.
“We are ready to stage a second and much larger attack if we need to do so,” Trump said.
Political Pushback and Constitutional Questions
NBC News states that Democratic lawmakers criticized the operation for being carried out without congressional authorization.
“Maduro is an illegitimate ruler, but I have seen no evidence that his presidency poses a threat that would justify military action without Congressional authorization,” Rep. Jim Himes of Connecticut said.
Rep. Jerry Nadler of New York called the operation unconstitutional.
“Trump’s actions are completely illegal and unconstitutional,” Nadler said. “This grave abuse of power has put American troops in harm’s way and threatens wider conflict in the region.”
According to NBC News, Trump dismissed the criticism during a phone interview with Fox News.
“As far as last night is concerned, it was really genius,” Trump said. “The Democrats all they do is complain.”

According to Hip Hop Wired, Venezuelan officials accused the United States of targeting civilian and military locations and denounced the strike as “military aggression.”
Russia condemned the operation and pledged support for Venezuela ahead of an emergency United Nations meeting.

“Did y’all see the date on that divorce filing? He filed that today. He filed that today. Who gave you the money? They gave you the money? You should thank me. Look at me doing you favors again…I got y’all lit.”
The drama continued to intensify that month, with Remy claiming Papoose blocked her on social media and threatened to put his son on her IG Live to prove he wasn’t an active father. After a day of drama, Papoose claimed he had written the majority of Remy Ma’s raps.
The feud may now be cooling down, as Papoose and Shields recently appeared on The Breakfast Club, saying they wanted to move on from the controversy.
Tamar Braxton vs. Funky Dineva

In August 2025, Tamar Braxton and Funky Dineva had a very public fallout following a night that almost turned scandalous and fatal. The controversy began on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, when Tamar teased her new Heartbreak Retrograde EP, starring a married Mendeecees Harris, just a week after claiming she “almost died” and was “found in a pool of blood,” without giving full details.
In the promo, the 48-year-old singer was seen snuggling up with Harris, and planting a kiss on the reality TV star, though she clarified in captions that he was only a “FRIEND.” Still, the internet erupted with speculation about a possible romance. Rumors were fueled by sightings of Tamar and Mendeeces together at V12 Lounge, allegedly hours before her accident. The photos also captured Dineva partying with the singer that same night, but what started as speculation quickly turned into controversy.
Some internet sleuths accused Dinvea of having something to do with Tamar’s incident, which sent the YouTuber into a heated rampage. In a now-deleted YouTube livestream, Dineva referred to Tamar as “the lady” and claimed he had no knowledge of what happened after leaving the club.
On Aug. 27, Dineva addressed the situation on social media, expressing hurt over Tamar’s silence over the allegations. He also called her accident “a PR stunt,” claiming he was used as “collateral damage” to promote the singer’s new album.
He continued:
“@Tamarbraxton you ain’t even gone try to clear any of this up and tell these people I didn’t do anything to you…. I was accused of NOT BEING A FRIEND TO YOU. When at the end of the day, it was YOU NOT BEING A FRIEND TO ME!! I didn’t deserve any of this, and I’m deeply hurt!”
Tamar eventually responded, stating she didn’t want to fight with the social media star.
“No matter what he says, I love @MsFunkyDineva anyway. Had I known what was going on while I was in the hospital trying to recover, I would have said something. It’s terrible that what ever I DIDN’T say turned into all this. I just want PEACE.”
She clarified on Instagram that she did not fake her accident.
“I wish it was a lie. Or a ‘PR’ stunt. I’m devastated that ANYONE would suggest that. Please enjoy my EP. I worked very hard, and I spent my OWN money for my Tamartian friends to enjoy.”
A day later, on Aug. 28, Tamar shared a joint video explaining her injurieswith Dr. Amira Ogunleye, which included “multiple dental fractures, a nasal fracture, and even a tooth completely knocked out of the socket.” Despite this, Dineva continued to criticize her online.
The Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef simmered long before 2025, but dominated headlines this year. According to USA Today, tension began with subliminal messages in tracks dating back to 2013, including Lamar’s “Control,” which aimed at Drake.
But the beef really boiled up after the release of Drake and J. Cole’s 2023 track “First Person Shooter.” On the infamous track, J.Cole called himself and the two rivals the “big three” of rap, but that title didn’t sit well with Lamar. The Cali-bred hip-hop artist responded in Future and Metro Boomin’s March release “Like That” rapping: “forget ‘the big three … it’s just big me” and apparently referencing Drake: “It’s time for him to prove that he’s a problem.”
This led to Lamar’s 2024 diss track “Not Like Us,” which carried into 2025 with a ton of success and sizzling drama. The trackwon five Grammys in February 2025, and Lamarperformed it at the Super Bowl, showcasing his trolling skills, alongside Drake’s ex Serena Williams, no less.
Drake wasn’t silent, however. The Super Bowl performance came after Drizzy filed a defamation lawsuit in NYC against Universal Music Group over the fiery diss, claiming the lyrics and music video falsely portrayed him as a pedophile, damaging his reputation. TMZ reported that Drake alleged UMG promoted the track to devalue his brand. The case wasdismissedin October 2025, though Drake filed a motion to appeal that same month.
Nicki Minaj vs. SZA

Nicki Minaj also took aim at SZA in 2025. In July, the Grammy-nominated rapper publicly accused SZA’s manager, TDE’s Terrence “Punch” Henderson, of bullying her.
It all began on July 15, when Nicki called out Henderson, claiming he was “bullying” her on “Twitter for no reason.” The origin of the allegations was unclear, though Punch had tweeted about “Broken Barbies” earlier that morning. While the tweet referred to Lyric Michelle’s new song from his “Room Full Of Mirrors” group and had nothing to do with Nicki, she appeared to take it personally.
Shortly after Nicki’s rant, SZA responded on X with a cryptic message: “Mercury retrograde…don’t take the bait lol silly goose.” Though she didn’t mention anyone specifically, Nicki immediately accused her of subtweeting and went on the offensive:
“Go draw your freckles back on bookie,” she tweeted. “Bh looking & sounding like she got stung by a fing bee. dot dot dot Draws on my fake freckles.”
Nicki also criticized SZA’s achievements, targeting her record-breaking 2022 album, SOS, which went 9X platinum in under 3 years. The album made SZA the only Black artist to spend over 80 weeks in the Billboard 200’s Top 10, surpassing Michael Jackson’s record, as previously reported.
“B***h put out a whole new album as a deluxe to an already existing album that was out for like a year or 2, so the original album could break records,” Nicki said. “Like what in the insecure lack of morals & integrity you doing? I thought she was like a real artist? Girl bye.”
The two traded a few more barbs before the feud appeared to simmer down.
Eventually, SZA responded to one of Nicki’s tweets, calling her a “fake girl’s girl” and highlighting her alleged superiority. The TDE singer presented evidence that Minaj had requested features from her twice and even rapped lyrics SZA had written:
“Nicki … You absolutely know my music and what I contribute cause you’ve asked for features twice to no response,” she tweeted. “In addition to rapping my lyrics on feeling myself ‘Cooking up the bass looking like a kilo’? Lol ur having a moment … I’m not sure why, but be blessed.”
SZA also shared a screenshot of alleged messages between a team member and Nicki asking, “Is SZA recording right now? Got this hook, I think she would be dope on.” From there, the online beef largely dissipated.
In a November GQ interview, SZAaddressed the situation, explaining there was “no backstory” and that she didn’t even know Nicki personally.
“I don’t know her,” SZA began. “We have no connection to each other. There’s no backstory. Like, there was no through-line narrative. It was just like, ‘Roc Nation…I don’t know where it came from. That’s not even my place to correct a narrative that I don’t got s**t to do with. It was a little strange. It was very like, ‘Why?’ But also, you know, ‘I guess.’ ”

Now that their breakup is public information, it seems like the former couple has decided to throw etiquette out the window, posting shady subliminals that seem to be aimed at one another on social media. After some of Yandy’s posts on Instagram went viral, Mendeecees posted two videos of his own, bragging about his single life and insinuating she was the one who pushed for a breakup.
On Monday, Dec. 29, Harris reposted a video from @rulaempire_ about being single, ranting about his “single” looking better than someone else’s.
“How are you mad that my single looks more fun than your single? You the one that wanted to be single first,” the video clip says. “I don’t even know how to be single for real, I’m just over here having fun, I’m just over here doing sh*t. We’re just vibing, and chilling and floating around and you mad! How are you mad about sh*t…and I’m single?”
While Mendeecees didn’t add any of his own commentary to the post, The Shade Room saw him comment “Facts” on the clip.
The second repost also came Monday, with a clip from @jamerblu talking about women stressing out their whole roster, especially their “favorite.”
“Females will have two and three other dudes and stress out her favorite one. Like no b*h spread that sht out. Don’t just give me all the problems.”
Mendeecees was the one who revealed the breakup publicly, while Yandy has yet to comment on it. In the Streetz 94.5 radio show interview, Harris revealed that they’re “not together” and even confirmed they were never legally married.
While she hasn’t spoken directly on the split, Yandy did post some footage from her recent Africa trip prior to Mendeecees’ reposts. In the midst of photos and videos of her with friends, Smith included memes about loyalty, “acting delusional,” and tough times, and her caption began with song lyrics, “Are you done talkin…tell me baby are you done🎶…🥴 🤷🏾♀️”
One of the reposts reads, “i lost respect for you when you knew my whole world was crashing down and still decided to add to the chaos.”

January began with a jaw-dropping absence that Real Housewives of Potomac fans couldn’t ignore: Karen Hugerdid not attend the reunion. As details emerged, it became clear this was far more serious. Huger had been convicted on multiple DUI-related charges stemming from a March arrest in Maryland, and explosive body camera footage soon followed. In the footage, she appeared visibly impaired, slurring her words, swaying on her feet, and memorably referring to herself as “Thomas Jefferson’s concubine.”
The fallout was swift and severe. Karen served six months in jail and entered rehab, missing the reunion entirely. Fans officially learned of her absence when the reunion seating chart was released, placing Mia Thornton and Gizelle Bryant closest to Andy Cohen, while the Grand Dame’s seat remained conspicuously empty. The moment marked one of the most dramatic off-screen consequences the franchise has ever faced.
But in true Housewives fashion, redemption was always on the horizon. At BravoCon 2025, Bravo dropped a midseason supertease that confirmed Karen’s return. Few things hit harder than watching a decades-long friendship unravel on camera, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 delivered exactly that with Porsha Williams and Shamea Morton. What started as tension simmering beneath the surface exploded during episode 11, when the childhood friends finally confronted their growing rift over lunch.
Shamea expressed feeling dismissed and unsupported, while Porsha questioned whether Shamea was stirring drama to secure her spot as a first-time peach holder.
The tension spilled into the After Show, where Shamea became overwhelmed with emotionand ultimately walked off set in tears. Shamea maintained that she stayed loyal, holding on to the value and history of their longtime friendship, despite friction.
“I never gave them anything. So, the fact that she opened that up for them to judge and evaluate and dictate our friendship and what it was and what it was not—that’s on her,” Shamea explained.
The reunion only intensified matters.
“There isn’t any communication,” Porsha said, with Shamea adding, “At all.”
Porsha escalated the accusations, alleging intentional sabotage and claiming Shamea of tried to one-up her on the show.
“It was a scheme and a plan,” Porsha claimed.
Just when it seemed beyond repair, Shamea surprised viewers by releasing a YouTube video titled Dear Sweet 16 days before the final reunion episode aired, offering a heartfelt apology to the entire cast.
“My elders and my family never steered me wrong. So I just wanna start by saying to all the ladies on the Sweet 16 cast—starting with Porsha, you know, Drew, Angela, Britt, Kenya, Cynthia, Kelli—I’m sorry. And if I missed anybody, I’m sorry,” she said.
Whether the friendship can recover remains uncertain, but the emotional fallout made for some of the rawest RHOA scenes in years.
Love Is Blind Season 10’s Uncomfortable Confrontation between Kalybriah and Edmond.

Love Is Blind is no stranger to emotional explosions, but Season 10 delivered one of its most unsettling moments with cast members Kalybriah “KB” Haskin and Edmond Harvey. During a group pool party, the couples casually discussed intimacy, when Edmondrevealed to the men that Kalybriah wanted to wait until marriage, a decision he didn’t share.
Back at the hotel, the conversation spiraled. Edmond confronted Kalybriah about her sexual history, leading to a deeply emotional breakdown that shocked viewers.
“I’m just always the fu–king nice guy! That’s what f—s me up, I’m too f–king nice,” Edmond sobbed.
The confrontation escalated until Kalybriah walked out of the room. Later, she spoke with People, explaining that she had intentionally entered the experience on a different path.
“I went in [practicing] abstinence for eight months prior to the show.”
Edmond later reflectedpublicly on his behavior, acknowledging personal growth and accountability.

Season 16 of RHOA also delivered courtroom-level drama in July, when Angela Oakley accusedPhaedra Parks of spreading cheating rumors about her husband, Charles Oakley. During part one of the reunion, Angela confidently alleged that Phaedra orchestrated the rumor through a man named Marcus, and she came prepared with a literal file folder of receipts.
“First and foremost, he told me it was Phaedra,” Angela explained.
Andy Cohen, clearly skeptical, responded, “This man who you’ve never met?”
Then, Angela unveiled the treasure trove of receipts she brought with her, pulling documents from a thick folder to show that Marcus’s aunt, Kimberly, was a high school friend of Phaedra’s older brother. Angela insisted this connection explained how they knew each other, but Andy, Phaedra, and the rest of the group remained unconvinced.
Phaedra quickly denied the claims, dismissing the connections as circumstantial.
“That’s just a coincidence,” said Phaedra.
Despite Angela’s insistence that Phaedra was attempting to “secure her spot” on the show, no definitive conclusion was reached, leaving fans debating long after the reunion ended.

In Episode 9, Huda Mustafa chose to open up to Nic Vansteenberghe about her daughter, hoping to give Jeremiah Brown someone else to talk to about it. What followed was an innocent, hilarious exchange that quickly took on a life of its own and went viral.
“I have a secret to tell you. All the girls know, Jeremiah knows, but you have to promise me you’re not going to say anything to other guys ’cause it’s not their business,” Huda said. “But, I’m a mommy.”

“Mamacita!” Nic said with a smile, still clearly a bit confused.

“I have a daughter,” Huda shared, prompting Nic to respond, “Like in real life? Like a daughter, like a real baby?”
“Yeah, like a human child,” Huda laughed.
“Wait, that’s so cute,” Nic then said. “How old is he or she?”
After the Season 7 finale aired on July 13, the Islanders finally got their phones back, and Nic and Huda were completely unaware of just how viral their brief conversation had become. In fact, they barely remembered the moment at all.
“Bro! That’s actually gold,” Huda said during an after-show confessional on TikTok, while watching the clip on her phone. “I love Nic to death. Everyone kept telling me about the mamacita moment, and me and Nic just forgot exactly what happened. And now watching it back, I can understand why people think it’s funny.”
The pair even leaned into the moment during the finale. In their finale looks, Nic and Huda recreated the now-iconic exchange in a playful video shared on Love Island USA’s TikTok, laughing as Nic repeatedly said, “mamacita?”
Nic was equally stunned by how big the moment had become after leaving the villa. “They’re just making songs of mamacita?” he said after getting his phone back. “I love this!”
