  • Julia Fox’s Multi-Cutout Corset Is Really Just Strips of Metal

Julia Fox’s Multi-Cutout Corset Is Really Just Strips of Metal

    [ad_1]

Julia Fox has managed to construct a wardrobe more polarizing than that of anyone else in Hollywood — including Lady Gaga. Working with stylist Briana Andalore, the 33-year-old “Uncut Gems” star and new author of “Down the Drain” has cemented a moment in pop culture with her kitschy street style outfits gawked at by fans and fellow runway show attendees alike. Sitting front row at Fashion Week presentations such as Wiederhoeft, where she memorably rocked both a wedding gown and poodle dress; Diesel, where she outfitted her son Valentino in matching denim; and Naomi Campbell’s PrettyLittleThing collection debut, where she arrived in nothing but chains and a patent leather trench coat, Fox is nothing if not courageous, pushing the sartorial envelope wherever she goes.

Though she rose to fame while dating Kanye West, and simultaneously stepping into the spotlight at Paris Haute Couture Week in 2022, Fox is a model, actor, and artist in her own right. She recently partnered with Victoria’s Secret on The Tour ’23, fronting the newest iteration of the show in a plunging yellow minidress designed by Lagos-based designer Bubu Ogisi. She also wore the above metal-plated corset gown and sheer, gauzy gloves to the “Something You Said Last Night” premiere in New York on Sept. 22, celebrating her role as executive producer on the film. While Fox has brought life to more divisive fashion trends than we can count, we’re spotlighting some of her most noteworthy ensembles ahead. Scroll to see if you can pinpoint one or two that really make your jaw drop.

  • The V&A to stage landmark Naomi Campbell exhibition

The V&A to stage landmark Naomi Campbell exhibition

    [ad_1]

In more recent years, Campbell has branched out into film production, music, writing and activism.

This is the first exhibit from the museum that puts the spotlight on one model’s career.

What will be featured in the NAOMI exhibit?

“The first exhibition of its kind exploring the extraordinary career of fashion model Naomi Campbell,” reads the description on the V&A description of the exhibit. “Through the work of leading global designers and photographers we celebrate her creative collaborations, activism and far-reaching cultural impact.”

    Michel Arnaud

The exhibit promises to be a retrospective of Campbell’s impressive career.

Alongside photos of her various runway appearances, it will also feature items worn by the model in shows over the years. The blue moc-croc 30.5cm high platforms Campbell famously wore (and fell down in) during a 1993 Vivienne Westwood show are expected to appear as they are currently part of the V&A’s permanent collection.

The exhibition will also feature items from her career in activism to showcase her influence on fashion and culture over the past few decades.

    Victor VIRGILE

“Naomi Campbell’s extraordinary career intersects with the best of high fashion,” said Sonnet Stanfill, senior curator, Fashion, V&A. “She is recognised worldwide as a supermodel, activist, philanthropist, and creative collaborator, making her one of the most prolific and influential figures in contemporary culture. We’re delighted to be working with Naomi Campbell on this project and to celebrate her career with our audiences.”

When is NAOMI running at the V&A?

The exhibition will open next year on June 22nd, 2024.

Tickets aren’t available yet, but you’ll be able to snag yours here very soon.

  • This Fashion Month Belonged to ’90s Supermodels

This Fashion Month Belonged to ’90s Supermodels

    [ad_1]

Fashion’s first supermodels aren’t going anywhere. For a few years now, brands have enlisted the original ’90s supermodels — from the smiley Christy Turlington to the perpetually chic Kate Moss — in their runway shows. This past fall 2023 season, however, was especially focused on bringing back the industry’s most famous faces, honoring their careers and contributions to fashion as a whole. The recognition is well-deserved, of course, but what makes this the right time for such a resurgence?

The obvious answer is the new Apple TV+ docuseries “The Super Models” — a shiny exploration into the illustrious careers of Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, and Turlington. With recent fashion seasons criticized for leaving behind its mainstays for industry outsiders and influencers, nostalgia is somehow a timely solution. This resurgence has also perhaps been brewing since Versace brought together five ’90s icons for the grand finale of its spring runway show in 2018.

This year’s shows also lifted up their legends: Campbell graced several runways, even debuting her own 70-piece collection with PrettyLittleThing. That’s not to mention her happy front-row reunion with Moss at the Fendi show during Milan Fashion Week. Claudia Schiffer, meanwhile, closed the Versace show in an homage to the late Gianni Versace, as she was one of his original muses.

Edward Enninful, British Vogue editor in chief, also recently brought the supers together for his very last September issue. “What better way to celebrate than with four women who have, over the course of more than three decades, come to define the very idea of fashion itself: the original supermodels,” he wrote. The cover story went on to point out these women’s “rock star moves,” with Campbell speaking out about racial discrimination, Evangelista breaking records with Steven Meisel, and Crawford seamlessly navigating the tumultuous road from modeling to television. Without social media, they accrued supermodel status simply by acting like superstars.

Advances in social media prompted major — and debatably unwelcome — shifts in the cultural zeitgeist. Now, with fashion influencers facilitating major sales, the front row might look a little different than it used to. “Why spend money promoting on a billboard when you don’t know who’s driving past that billboard?” fashion content creator Ellie Zeiler prompted HuffPost in 2022. “You can just hire a fashion influencer and know that people are specifically going to that page for fashion content.”

Still, it’s a tough sell. If everyone has a platform, everyone has the chance to make it into Fashion Week, undermining the industry’s historic exclusivity. Think pieces debating whether or not influencers are ruining fashion for good only reemphasize this point. While publicists might be dealing with an increasingly flooded inbox, the fashion world was long overdue for a change.

Despite it all, the supermodel title transcends. Bringing the legends of the early aughts back to the runway signals a longing for the glamour of pre-social-media runway culture. In combination with the increased inclusivity made possible by the influencers of today, fashion might be on to something really super.

  • Natalia Bryant Can Now Add “Versace Runway Model” to Her Growing Fashion Résumé

Natalia Bryant Can Now Add “Versace Runway Model” to Her Growing Fashion Résumé

    [ad_1]

Natalia Bryant might’ve just had her runway debut, but she was always destined for fashion. “My mom says, ‘Walk like Naomi but remember to be yourself,’” the oldest daughter of Kobe and Vanessa Bryant told Vogue prior to her first show. “‘Put your own style to your walk and always with your head held high.’” In fact, it’s partially thanks to her mom that Bryant decided to pursue modeling in the first place, signing with IMG Models in 2021 and joining a crew of talent like Ashley Graham and Gigi Hadid at the agency. Fast-forward to this year’s Milan Fashion Week, and she’s already walking alongside celebrities and industry icons like Kendall Jenner and Claudia Schiffer for Versace’s spring show.

Leading up to her first catwalk, Bryant introduced herself to the fashion world with a series of heavy-hitting projects, earning her stripes before ever stepping foot on a runway. In early September, she appeared in UGG’s new autumn campaign, joining model Aweng Chuol and rapper A$AP Nast. In 2021, she took time out of her freshman year at USC to grace the September cover of Teen Vogue, later attending the Met Gala in a sequin Connor Ives dress. She flexed more of her personal style at Vanity Fair’s 2023 Oscars afterparty, wearing a black velvet Monsoori gown with floor-length sleeves, and showing more love to Versace with a zebra-print midi dress in March.

“Versace does such a great job at making women feel empowered and strong. At the show, there was this electric energy and everyone was so sweet and inspirational,” she told The Zoe Report in March, seemingly unaware that she’d be walking for Versace herself in just a few short months.

In anticipation of her runway debut, Bryant asked a few of her fellow models if they had any helpful advice, sharing the answers on Vogue’s Instagram. “Just try to take in the moment and let yourself remember it,” Hadid responded before embracing Bryant backstage and expressing her pride.

Bryant’s mom — the woman who started it all — also shared her excitement following her daughter’s first runway. “I’m so proud of you! You did it mama,” she wrote on Instagram. And if the past two years serve as any indication, she’s only just getting started.

  • Gisele Bündchen Opens Up About Contemplating Suicide As Young Model

Gisele Bündchen Opens Up About Contemplating Suicide As Young Model

    [ad_1]

Gisele Bündchen is an open book — and speaking about her suicidal ideations of the past.

The Brazilian model has been admirably transparent about her new life and publicized divorce with NFL veteran Tom Brady. In an upcoming “CBS News Sunday Morning” interview, however, Bündchen is reflecting on her past modeling days.

“I was in tunnels,” she told host Lee Cowan. “I couldn’t breathe. And then I started being in studios, and I felt, like, suffocated. I lived on the ninth floor, and I had to go up the stairs because I was afraid I would be stuck on the elevator and I’d be hyperventilating.”

“You know when you can’t breathe even when the windows are open, you feel like, I don’t want to live like this, you know what I mean?” Bündchen continued before being asked if she ever did “really think about” actually jumping out of a window: “Yeah. For, like, a second.”

The mother of two recently expressed how grateful she was to quit drinking and joyously celebrated her 43rd birthday, but also detailed her frustrations about the public divorce. Bündchen’s mental health struggles are anything but rare in the fashion industry.

The death of fashion designer Kate Spade in 2018 spurred new research by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that showed a 30% rise in suicide rates in 25 U.S. states between 1999 and 2016. Multiple models had taken their lives during that time period.

“Kate suffered from depression and anxiety for many years,” her husband, Andy Spade, told The New York Times in 2018. “She was actively seeking help and working closely with her doctors to treat her disease, one that takes far too many lives.”

Bündchen told People in 2018 that she “actually had the feeling of, ‘If I just jump off my roof, this is going to end, and I never have to worry about this feeling of my world closing in.’”

Bündchen, who experienced suicidal ideations as a young model, divorced Brady in 2022.

    Andre Penner/File/Associated Press

“When I think back on that moment, and that 23-year-old girl, I want to cry,” she wrote in her memoir per Page Six. “I want to tell her that everything will be all right, that she hasn’t even begun to live her life. But in that moment, the only answer seemed to be to jump.”

The mother of two, whose concerns about Brady returning to the NFL and later the couple’s divorce being very publicized, has changed her perspective since then — and been nothing but grateful despite being naturally saddened about the familial break.

“I look into my life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” she told Cowan in a separate preview of Sunday’s interview. “I wouldn’t have any other life, I wouldn’t have done it if they say, ‘Can you change something in your life?’ I wouldn’t change absolutely anything.”

Bündchen reportedly first met Brady on a blind date in 2006. She then married him, and they welcomed their first child in 2009. They had one more child in 2012. They finalized their divorce in October 2022. Bündchen opened up about their split in March.

“Listen, I have always cheered for him, and I would continue forever,” she told Vanity Fair at the time. “If there’s one person I want to be the happiest in the world, it’s him, believe me. I want him to achieve and conquer. I want all his dreams to come true.”

She continued, “That’s what I want, really from the bottom of my heart.”

  • Claudia Schiffer’s Rare Runway Appearance Is a Tribute to Gianni Versace

Claudia Schiffer’s Rare Runway Appearance Is a Tribute to Gianni Versace

    [ad_1]

Some things never change. On Sept. 22, supermodel Claudia Schiffer returned to the runway as a tribute to the late Gianni Versace. The ’90s icon closed the Versace show at Milan Fashion Week for the first time since joining Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, and Helena Christensen for an homage back in 2018. She graced the catwalk in a shimmering green-and-silver-checkered gown, joining models like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid. “It’s basically molded onto my body. It fits me like a glove,” she told Vogue of her dress. Schiffer’s presence at the show was the ultimate full-circle moment, serving as a powerful reference to Gianni Versace’s 1995 spring show, which she also closed.

Schiffer shone on the runway, but her rare appearance was the finale to what ended up being an entire collection inspired by Gianni’s original show. The concept — brought to life by the legendary Donatella Versace — paid homage to her brother’s original mod looks with carefully tailored silhouettes, colorful free-flowing silks, and checkerboard patterns. Of course, that didn’t stop her from adding her own creative touches, including the sparkly embellishments on Jenner’s collar and the delicate beaded detailing across Schiffer’s reimagined gown. Schiffer has long been touted as one of Gianni’s original muses. Donatella herself even commented that Schiffer will “always be an inspiration” in February 2022 after the model praised the Hadid sisters’ re-creation of her 1995 Versace ad with Sylvester Stallone. “Donatella is just a wonderful, warm-hearted, gentle, genuine, nice person who really does care,” Schiffer told Vogue. “It’s just more than just a fashion show and ad campaign. It’s much more than that.” Read on to see how one of the most memorable models in Versace history returned to the runway after all these years.

  • What It’s Like to Photograph Naomi Campbell and Teyana Taylor For the Pirelli Calendar

What It’s Like to Photograph Naomi Campbell and Teyana Taylor For the Pirelli Calendar

    [ad_1]

The 2024 Pirelli calendar focuses on the idea of timelessness and stars iconic figures such as Naomi Campbell, Angela Bassett, Idris Elba, Teyana Taylor, Amanda Gorman, and, most significantly, King Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. The year marks the 25th anniversary of the Ashanti Kingdom, and the King’s image reflects the celebration of his reign. With all photos taken by artist Prince Gyasi in London and Ghana, Gyasi’s hometown, each shoot grew increasingly exciting for him — especially since he looks up to so many of the celebrities he worked with on set, some of whom are old friends. As a self-taught visual artist who shot his first photographs on an old iPhone at 16, Gyasi’s signature work is personal, powerful, and revolves around the idea of community. His unique aesthetic is described as a “journey into color,” and he’s worked with impactful brands and publications like Balmain, Converse, GQ, and Vanity Fair.

When Gyasi talked to POPSUGAR about the Pirelli experience, he explained that he settled on a theme for the renowned calendar by looking within himself. “I used to look up to these people. I can never deny the fact that they helped me take out the roof above me and escape any limitations,” he said, continuing, “When I approached this, I was thinking about people who defy time, like basically those who don’t exist in time, because they are timeless. They have this God-given gift that they’re able to maneuver through this earth at a different speed. You would think that they’re not normal human beings, but they are because of the consistency, hard work, determination, and passion they have for what they do. That’s why they are where they are.”

Ahead, Gyasi dives into specific instances of camaraderie he experienced on set and discusses his own bucket list for his career. Enjoy behind-the-scenes photos from the 2024 Pirelli shoot as you read about Gyasi’s perspective on the project and wait patiently for the official imagery to launch ahead of the new calendar year.

  • Linda Evangelista Battled Breast Cancer Twice in the Last 5 Years

Linda Evangelista Battled Breast Cancer Twice in the Last 5 Years

    [ad_1]

Linda Evangelista used to be everywhere, as one of the original supermodels. She dominated the catwalks and covers of magazines before suddenly exiting the spotlight without explanation. In 2021, she emerged and revealed that CoolSculpting side effects gone awry had left her, in her words, “permanently disfigured,” leading her to hide herself away from the spotlight for a time. Not anymore: She’s at the center of the upcoming The Super Models docuseries and was on the September cover of Vogue. It wasn’t just the CoolSculpting that had her laying low: Now, she’s revealed in a new interview with WSJ. Magazine that she has fought breast cancer two times within the last five years.

“I’ve kept it quiet,” she said of her cancer diagnoses. “Only a handful of people knew. And I’m just not one of those people who has to share everything,” she said. “I thought to myself, I will share this one day but while I am going through it, absolutely not. I don’t want the Daily Mail waiting outside my door like they do every time something happens. ‘Linda seen for the first time since blah blah blah.’”

The first diagnosis came in December 2018 after a routine mammogram.

“The margins were not good,” she said of the diagnosis. “And due to other health factors, without hesitation, because I wanted to put everything behind me and not to have to deal with this, I opted for a bilateral mastectomy. Thinking I was good and set for life. Breast cancer was not going to kill me.”

And it hasn’t, though that remission didn’t last. Last July, after feeling a lump on her chest, an MRI found cancer in her pectoral muscle.

“Dig a hole in my chest,” she remembered telling surgeons. “I don’t want it to look pretty. I want you to excavate. I want to see a hole in my chest when you’re done. Do you understand me? I’m not dying from this.” She calls her course of action “just do what you’ve got to do and get through it. And that’s what I did.”

She’s been hiding in plain sight, she said, like when she wore an enormous opera cape walking for Fendi in September 2022.

“Like, ‘What’s she hiding under that dress?’” she recalled seeing online. “If they only knew—my [post-surgical] drainage tubes had just been pulled.”

She’s cancer-free once more, but knows that there’s no guarantee her cancer journey is over.

“I know I have one foot in the grave,” she said, “but I’m totally in celebration mode.”

The revelation also gives a little more context to last month’s Vogue interview, in which Evangelista gushed about Salma Hayek, who is now married to François-Henri Pinault, with whom Evanglista has a 16-year-old son. She described their blended family and said that she spends most holidays with them, with Hayek even flying to make Evangelista truffled potatoes at Thanksgiving when Evangelista was sick. To WSJ., she said of Hayek, “I love that woman. She’s a woman’s woman. Just like me, [she’s] so family-oriented, and so positive. She’s a blessing to us…. She was very, very generous and kind to me while I was going through my chemo.”

  • Only Kendall Jenner Could Pull Off Wearing Sequin Underwear Over Sheer Tights

Only Kendall Jenner Could Pull Off Wearing Sequin Underwear Over Sheer Tights

    [ad_1]

Kendall Jenner’s evolution from reality TV star on The Kardashians to one of the most sought-after models in the fashion industry is evident from her Harper’s Bazaar September 2023 cover. As part of the historic publication’s Icons portfolio that spotlights game-changers who are reshaping the culture (like Doja Cat and Teyana Taylor), Jenner proves she’s made a name for herself outside of the Kardashian noise. She’s FWRD’s creative director, 818 Tequila founder, Calvin Klein campaign star, and, as mom Kris states to Bazaar, “Her superpower is knowing when it’s too much or when it’s not enough.”

The 27-year-old embodies that notion with her cover look, styled by Beat Bolliger. It’s got all the standard components of a typical outfit — except pants. Casually nailing the Hollywood-famous no-pants trend, Jenner models her sequin gold Miu Miu briefs over sheer black tights, finished with a nude knit turtleneck and slingback kitten heels. Her accessories include a gold cuff necklace and a thick watch from Panthère de Cartier. She rocks natural makeup, and her hair is styled into her signature slicked-back bun. She also wears additional looks, from an all-burgundy parka, bodysuit, and leather skirt by Marc Jacobs to a denim-on-denim Dior ensemble that features an oversize jacket, pants, black butterfly belt, and silver Cartier jewelry.

During her interview, Jenner touches heavily on her self-growth journey, having been in therapy for almost two years. “I meet with my therapist once a week, so every week I’m learning something new. I’m constantly evolving and just excited to do that,” she tells the publication. And while she’s no longer hiding in the shadows of her older sisters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé, the young star credits her family for her solid identity. “I feel like I am coming into my womanhood…and having so many strong women around me has helped shape my sense of worth.”

As someone known for pushing bold trends, this isn’t the first time Jenner has gone pants-less. For the 2023 Met Gala, she famously wore a high-cut sequin bodysuit with dramatic sleeves by Marc Jacobs. She’s also developed an affinity for naked dresses and thong-inspired pieces — especially thongkini swimsuits. Most recently, Jenner’s enjoyed a style streak with boyfriend Bad Bunny, as the duo coordinate their outfits on many occasions. They wore matching snakeskin boots at a Lakers game and all-black leather outfits for a date night in May.

Cindy Crawford’s Topless Hot Tub Thirst Trap Is a Full Vibe

    [ad_1]

Iconic supermodel Cindy Crawford took to Instagram Thursday to share a snap featuring glistening curves and plump mounds of flesh pressed together, cleavage aplenty that surely made mouths water and thumbs pause in their scrolling.

We agree: It was a very nice photo of a handful of perfectly ripe blackberries. It makes getting those K and C vitamins in seem infinitely appealing, not to mention the benefits that the fruit’s fiber provides.

She also shared a shot of herself topless in a hot tub, gazing out at a lake.

    Instagram content

This content can also be viewed on the site it originates from.

Crawford, 57, simply captioned her carousel “lake life,” gently drifting into the August weekend on the full wave of her thirst trap. Pardon, thirst traps: there are those blackberries, of course, they won’t be soon forgotten, but Crawford also posted a selfie in a bikini top and button-up shirt, strategically revealing a swath of chest with a string of beads finding a natural point to rest.

The model appears on the just-released cover of the September issue of Vogue alongside Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, and Christy Turlington, the cohort who defined high fashion and the supermodel look in the ‘80s and ’90s.

Crawford has previously talked about learning the ins and outs of social media with her also-supermodellic 21-year-old daughter, Kaia Gerber.

“Like anything, there’s good and bad sides to it,” she said. “The good thing is you have direct communication with your audience. The bad thing can be, it’s a lot of pressure and you see a lot of snarky comments on there.”

Thankfully, we have Crawford out here to tell us directly about the greatness of peak berry season, and the importance of having access to at least two bodies of water to luxuriate in at all times.

Heidi Klum Rocks Her Tiniest Thongkini Yet on Vacation With Her Family

    [ad_1]

Heidi Klum’s Italian vacation has been packed with swimwear moments, and the latest is just as striking as every bathing suit that’s come before. The 50-year-old “Project Runway” alum spent time on the beach with her children and husband, Tom Kaulitz, showing off a black-and-orange floral thongkini — perhaps her tiniest yet — from Australian resort label Matteau. Consisting of a triangle top with a simple clasp fastening at the back and a brief bottom that’s high-cut, the two-piece retails for $290, though it’s currently on sale at Net-a-Porter.

This is a decidedly refined suit for the iconic supermodel, who has frequently reached for quirkier patterns, like cow print and cherries, this summer. And though she usually opts for body chains to decorate her beachwear, this was a rather minimalist look, accessorized with just a pendant necklace, gold earrings, a stacking ring, and her wet hair left down in messy waves.

Klum posed with her children, standing on top of rocks and gazing down at the ocean. She traveled to Capri to celebrate her anniversary, enjoying a special date night with Kaulitz, for which she sported hip cutout pants. But she is clearly also appreciating time with her family, as she uploaded photos with her children to her feed with plenty of heart emojis filling the captions.

Earlier this summer, Klum supported Kaulitz’s band, Tokio Hotel, at their Berlin performances wearing ripped acid-wash jeans and statement shorts with feather trim from Area. She also rocked a unique Jean Paul Gaultier cutout minidress with a Mona Lisa graphic that upped the ante when it comes to vacation dressing.

Ahead, see Klum’s Matteau thongkini from multiple angles.

The Sweet Meaning Behind Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse’s Wedding Bands

    [ad_1]

Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse are officially married, and their wedding bands are just as sweet as their love story. After meeting at an event where Palvin cut him in line, resulting in Sprouse sliding into her Instagram DMs, the lovebirds were together for more than four years before he proposed in September 2022. Sprouse held onto his now-wife’s oval-cut solitaire diamond engagement ring for seven months. The couple got married in July with two timeless rose gold bands from the iconic jewelry brand Tiffany & Co.

On Aug. 9, the newlyweds took to Instagram to show off their simple yet unique pieces while visiting the Tiffany Landmark store. The former Victoria’s Secret model, whose native country is Hungary, beamed happily as she proudly sported her ring on her right hand. “Bringing Hungarian traditions to the Tiffany Landmark. Did you know that Hungarians wear their wedding band on their right hand? Don’t mind if I DO 👰🏻‍♀️,” she captioned her post. Sprouse flaunted a traditional, thicker band as Palvin kissed him on the cheek.

In line with their classic approach to all things romance, the couple exchanged their vows in Hungary at the same church Palvin’s parents got married in over three decades ago. For the blissful occasion, the 29-year-old bride donned a stunning wedding wardrobe that featured three dresses, Jimmy Choo pumps, and, of course, Tiffany & Co. jewelry, as spotlighted by Vogue. She kicked off the ceremony in a custom strapless design from Vivienne Westwood that featured the brand’s signature corset, accompanied by opera gloves, a ’90s-inspired choker, and a long veil. Palvin then switched things up with a slightly shorter dress by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini that “made [her] feel like a modern princess.” Finally, she embraced her roots with a red dress at midnight, made by Hungarian designer Mero. Meanwhile, Sprouse stayed true to his simple taste with a black and white Canali suit, explaining, “I just wanted a very traditional tuxedo.”

As the young couple prepare for a bigger California celebration in the fall, take a closer look at their gorgeous Tiffany & Co. wedding bands ahead.

Hailey Bieber Told Me the “Perfect” Bra to Wear With White Tees

    [ad_1]

If you look at any one of Hailey Bieber’s daytime street style looks from this summer, you’ll start to see a pattern. She wears a lot of white T-shirts. With them, you might spot some denim cutoffs, tube socks, and either loafers or sneakers. What you won’t see, though, is any sign that she’s wearing a bra. And no, that doesn’t mean she’s not wearing one. It just goes to show that the style she is wearing is really good and invisible in a way that’s almost impossible to guarantee. Naturally, I asked her about it.

Bieber is one of nine models—from the original supers such as Gisele Bündchen and Naomi Campbell to new-era names such as Adut Akech, Paloma Elsesser, and Emily Ratajkowski—who starred in the campaign for Victoria’s Secret’s just-launched Icon Collection. As such, I got the opportunity to talk all things lingerie with the Rhode founder. In addition to finally finding out the details of her miracle bra for wearing under white tees, I learned about the pajamas she’s the most confident in, how she feels about working with her idols, and the three lingerie trends that she’s been obsessing over this year. Heidi Klum packed no shortage of animal patterned swimwear for her anniversary vacation to Capri, Italy with husband Tom Kaulitz. The 50-year-old “Project Runway” alum shared a snap of herself harvesting tomatoes and peppers while rocking a cow print string bikini top that came in a pink-and-brown colorway. Taken from a bird’s eye view, Klum bared plenty of cleavage in the photo and appeared to wear minimal accessories, save for the oversize straw hat that she also rocked with a Wild Lovers cheetah and leopard suit while boating four days prior. To protect her skin from the sun, Klum tied a neon yellow caftan around her shoulders as she presented the produce in a woven basket. “Whats on the menu today ?” she captioned her Instagram.

Other animal designs she owns include a zebra skirt set — which is similar to the cow splashed bikini in both its shade, and the fact that it comes with three separates (it appears the cow suit is also replete with pants) — and a leopard bikini and sarong that she wore with body chains and a baseball hat earlier this summer. Klum has also shown off a cherry bikini, hip cutout pants, and Jean Paul Gaultier Mona Lisa minidress while traveling during the past few weeks. She took a momentary break to support Kaulitz’s band Tokio Hotel in Berlin, opting for more casual bleached and ripped acid wash jeans on set, and then transitioning to Area feather-trimmed denim shorts for a night out.

  • Bella Hadid Says She’s “Finally Healthy” After “Almost 15 Years of Invisible Suffering”

Bella Hadid Says She’s “Finally Healthy” After “Almost 15 Years of Invisible Suffering”

    [ad_1]

After spending well over half of her life in what she described as “invisible suffering,” 26-year-old model Bella Hadid is “finally healthy,” she said in an Instagram post Sunday.

In a lengthy caption, she chronicled her health struggles, including (sic throughout) “100+ days of Lyme, chronic disease , co infection treatment, almost 15 years of invisible suffering.” She said that it “was all worth it if I’m able to, God willing, have a lifetime of spreading love from a full cup, and being able to truly be myself, For the first time ever.”

Her accompanying photo carousel begins with a shot of medical notes from a 2013 exam of then-17-year-old-Hadid. It describes her being “ill for more than 1 ½ years now,” feeling “extremely exhausted and depressed” and unable to attend school. A paragraph-long summary contains a laundry list of physical, mood, and neurological symptoms, memory issues, fatigue, and pain among them. She also shared photos of herself receiving various treatments, poked and prodded and hooked up to any number of IVs, calling them “the most positive pictures I could because as painful as this experience was, the outcome was the most enlightening experience of my life filled with new friends, new visions and a new brain.”

This content can also be viewed on the site it originates from.

She thanked her mother, Yolanda Hadid, as well as her medical team and the companies she’s worked for, as well as other associates and supporters, and added that “I’ll be back when I’m ready.”

Bella has been largely absent from the spotlight as she handles her variety of medical complications, among them the chronic autoimmune disorder Lyme disease, a diagnosis she shares with mom Yolanda and sibling Anwar Hadid. “To be that sad and sick with the most blessings/privilege/opportunity/love around me was quite possibly the most confusing thing ever,” Bella wrote in the caption.

Earlier this month, sister Gigi Hadid said in her Instagram stories that Bella had recently finished a “long and intense” treatment for Lyme, and that she looked forward to her coming back to modeling “whenever she feels ready.”

All in all, Bella’s update is an acknowledgment of her struggle, and a celebration of the progress she’s made over the last decade and a half. “the little me that suffered would be so proud of grown me for not giving up on myself🫶” she wrote.

Heidi Klum is enjoying a summer full of thongkinis, favoring those with a high-cut bottom and statement details. The latest comes to us straight from a boat in Capri, where the 50-year-old supermodel is celebrating her wedding anniversary with musician Tom Kaulitz. The former Victoria’s Secret Angel chose a notably affordable two-piece from London-based, women-founded brand Wild Lovers.

Called the Destiny and retailing for $73, the strappy, animal-print design comes with a halter-style bandeau that can be worn with a criss-cross at the chest, and either a bow or double wraparound ties below the bust. The bikini bottoms feature ruching on the front and back, and side ties that emphasize the string details of the suit even more. Accessorized with circular, gold-rimmed sunglasses, a giant straw sun hat, and a plastic cup of red wine, Klum was ready to set sail. She even toted a House of Mua Mua sequin-embellished raffia bag with a Capri graphic to show off her love for the couple’s destination.

Most recently, Klum supported her husband’s band Tokio Hotel in feather-trimmed denim shorts from Area and acid wash ripped jeans that felt very 2000s. Before that, she was partying in Sardinia, Italy, rocking everything from a cherry print bikini to a pink crochet set. She also packed a Mona Lisa minidress from Jean Paul Gaultier for the trip, which included a large stomach cutout and off-the-shoulder silhouette.

  • Kendall Jenner Wears a Black Lace Bra For Date Night With Bad Bunny

Kendall Jenner Wears a Black Lace Bra For Date Night With Bad Bunny

    [ad_1]

As two stars very much in the public eye, who also happen to have a shared interest in fashion, Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny have coordinated their outfits with ease. The duo, who were reportedly linked as early as February, have already matched in snakeskin-effect boots at the Lakers game (their first public date night); opted for Western-inspired pieces for a New York City outing in April; and attended a Met Gala afterparty. At the afterparty, they sported statement trends such as Jenner’s Nensi Dojaka thong-over-playsuit and Bad Bunny’s multilayered diamond cross pendants, which complemented a fitted suede jacket and desert boots. After they each made a statement on the Met steps — with Jenner forgoing pants in a sequin-encrusted Marc Jacobs bodysuit and Bad Bunny defying gender convention in his open-back Jacquemus pantsuit and rosette-covered train — they have only continued to hold the fashion world’s attention.

Most recently, Bad Bunny, 29, and Jenner, 27, were spotted leaving the Dave Chappelle comedy show in West Hollywood on Aug. 1, both showcasing their affinity for all-black outfits. Jenner styled an off-shoulder sheer top over a lacy bralette, with her long brown hair parted at the center and left down. Meanwhile, Bad Bunny opted for his signature leather shacket atop a ribbed tank top, and he sported rectangular-shaped sunglasses atop his head. Earlier this summer, the pair also stepped out for sushi in LA, looking perfectly in sync from head-to-toe.

Ahead, take in the best style moments we’ve seen from Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner together so far, whether they’re wearing relaxed separates or their finest going-out garb.

  • Heidi Klum’s Ripped Jeans Are Basically Falling Apart at the Seams

Heidi Klum’s Ripped Jeans Are Basically Falling Apart at the Seams

    [ad_1]

Many celebrities have tried the Y2K fashion trend, and Heidi Klum’s latest look might be the most effortless approach we’ve seen. On July 20, the German-American model took to Instagram to show us a glimpse of her casual style as she sat in admiration of her husband, Tom Kaulitz, while he rehearsed with his band Tokio Hotel in Berlin. For the laid-back occasion, Klum opted for the most practical summer ensemble, including a white tank top, a pair of Birkenstocks to match, and the pièce de résistance of the look — light-blue acid-wash jeans. “Fan Girl 🤗❤️ @tokiohotel REHEARSALS BERLIN 🇩🇪,” she captioned the post. She also sported a face free of makeup, a playful chartreuse bracelet, and cherry-red nails.

The 50-year-old’s outfit is a soft departure from her recent swimsuit marathon. During a romantic Italian getaway, Klum showed off her impressive swimwear collection that featured mostly thongkinis, including a black and white leopard-print bikini she wore for a boat day and a triangle cherry-print thongkini for a quiet beach day. Her other summer ensembles include a crochet pink and white bikini; a patriotic crochet bikini; a Versace logo bikini; and a classic black triangle bikini. The “America’s Got Talent” judge even took the cheeky trend to unconventional heights, going topless in a strappy micro bottom for a romantic photo shoot in Cannes last month.

Besides her affinity for bikinis, Klum has served other noteworthy fashion moments. Most recently, she switched up her vacation wardrobe with a bold Mona Lisa cutout minidress from Jean Paul Gaultier and a half-bikini, half-couture gown for the designer’s show during Paris Haute Couture Week earlier this month. The mom of three also commanded the 2023 Cannes Film Festival red carpet in a yellow Zuhair Murad gown with extreme cutouts that further played into her alluring style.
