Did anyone else feel like that was the longest 24 hours of our lives waiting for “MAFS“? Seriously, we were all counting down the minutes until the bomb dropped on Tori about Jack’s antics. And let’s get right to it — it didn’t disappoint! The episode jumps right back into the chaos at the couples retreat in Byron Bay. Despite the serene setting, there’s a storm brewing, and it’s about to unleash drama of epic proportions.

Sara Drops the Bombshell on Tori

Sara and Lauren finally muster up the courage to spill the beans to Tori about Jack’s inappropriate behaviour. Sara’s nerves are palpable as she blurts out the truth, and Tori’s reaction? Well, let’s just say it’s not pretty. She’s pissed, and rightfully so.

“I’m still processing what was just said,” Tori confesses to the cameras. “It’s just blow after blow at this point, and it’s a lot to handle.”

Then comes the showdown with Jack. Tori doesn’t waste a second — she wants answers. But Jack? Oh boy, he tries to brush it off like it’s no big deal, and calls the accusations “ridiculous” and “hilarious”.

“God, [Sara’s] looking for some clout,” he says, trying to laugh it off. “It just feels ridiculous talking about it.”

Nice try, buddy, but Tori isn’t having any of it. She shuts him down real quick, and makes it clear she isn’t about to be manipulated.

“I’m not a pushover, I’m not a fool, I don’t have my rosey coloured glasses on. If I’ve got a problem, I’ll say something,” Tori tells producers.

Jack Is in the Hot Seat

But the drama doesn’t stop there. Tensions reach a boiling point during the final drinks of the night. Sara’s hubby Tim calls out Jack around the fire pit, and calls his behaviour the “wrong thing to do”. However, Jack tries to downplay his actions, but his excuses fall flat.

Jack says he didn’t realise he kissed her on the cheek, and says that he’s “awkward” when it comes to cheek kisses. He also says he “can’t remember” the butt tap, but he does apologise for making her feel that way unintentionally. 

“Sara likes a bit of drama, I think she’s attracted to drama. That conversation to me is absolute rubbish,” Jack tells producers. 

Just when you think things can’t get any more intense, Jack’s loose lips land him in some seriously hot water. Basically, Timothy calls out Jack for his thoughtless comment about “whales” being at the pool earlier in the day. Yeah, you read that right — it’s body-shaming at its finest.

Timothy and the group are fuming, and rightfully so. Honestly, who wouldn’t be? For Tori, this is the last straw. Her trust in Jack, which was already hanging by a thread, finally snaps.

“I’ve always said Jack is not a malicious person, but that comment is completely malicious,” Tori tells cameras. “I’ve never felt a deep disappointment in him, but that [comment] is so unacceptable. It goes against everything he says he stands for, like his line of work.”

Jack’s gonna have a tough time digging himself out of this mess, that’s for sure.

Eden’s Big Secret

Now, let’s talk about Eden’s dilemma because, believe us, it’s a whopper. She’s holding onto a secret that could blow the lid off this whole experiment. Wrestling with guilt and anxiety, Eden’s stuck between a rock and a hard place.

“I’ve been put in a position where I’m either sharing the information and probably losing all the friendships I have in here,” she confesses. “Or, I keep it to myself and I probably lose my relationship with Jayden, for lying to him. So, I feel like I’m in a lose-lose situation.”

Eventually, Eden spills the beans to Jayden (and us). Sara is the centre of all this drama — she was caught red-handed arranging a secret rendezvous with her ex-boyfriend, all behind her husband’s back.

“I don’t know if anything happened with the ex-boyfriend,” Eden says.

Jayden, understandably, is livid. “Meeting up with your ex-partner behind your husband’s back is also a form of cheating. No matter what way you look at it, it’s wrong,” he declares.

The pair agree that Tim, Sara’s husband, has the right to know. So, you better believe this bombshell is going to explode at the next dinner party. Brace yourselves, folks, because things are about to get even messier.

Sara and Tim Face the Experts

Fast forward to the Commitment Ceremony, and things are as tense as ever. Sara kicks things off with an apology to the group for the drama they caused.

“I’m embarrassed at how we aired our dirty laundry in front of everybody, so I apologise for the scene that was caused last night,” Sara addresses the group

But she forgot one crucial detail — apologising to Tim directly. Expert Mel isn’t having any of it, and she’s quick to call Sara out on her behaviour.

Shocked by what she’s hearing, Sara responds: “He yelled at me”. Wrong choice, Sara.

Mel’s BS detector is off the charts as she zeroes in on the bride and she’s not letting her off the hook that easily.

“You were behaving in a really aggressive way throughout the night, you were shouting for quite a length of time. We were in shock watching your anger, your pointing. Your body language was so alarming,” Mel admits.

“We watched Tim control himself throughout the night until you pushed him to the point he exploded. And for the first time, Tim, we saw you find your voice and express yourself to Sara.”

“Are You Scared of Her?”

Then comes Tim, laying it all out on the table. He’s tired, frustrated, and feeling neglected. And honestly, who can blame him? It’s like he’s putting in all this effort, and Sara’s just not meeting him halfway.

But here’s where things get real interesting — our girl Cassandra swoops in with a question that’s got everyone on the edge of their seats.

“When you’re with Sara, you’re like a colder version than the Tim I’ve gotten to know… Are you maybe afraid of her a little bit?” she asks.

Ellie and Ben… Who?

So, yeah, Ellie and Ben have been flying under the radar, but boy, are they making waves at this Dinner Party. Ellie spills the tea about Ben’s less-than-stellar behaviour, and everyone is shook.

As they show up at the dinner party, it’s like a signal for the drama to kick into high gear. The brides waste no time pulling Ellie aside to get the tea on her romance with Ben.

Ellie says they’ve been spending the night in separate rooms after Ben questioned their compatibility. Ouch! The girls’ jaws practically hit the floor, but Ellie is quick to switch into damage control mode. She tries to convince everyone that Ben has made things right, and that they are all good now. But let’s just say… the girls aren’t exactly buying it. They want answers from Ben himself.

When dinner is served, Lauren wastes no time throwing Ben into the hot seat. The girls circle like sharks, grilling him about his feelings for Ellie, and ask about his wishy-washy stance on having kids. Ellie tries to smooth things over by explaining Ben’s behaviour away, but it only seems to rile the group up more.

Sara and Tim’s Relationship Blows Up

But let’s be real, we’re really here for the Sara and Tim showdown. It’s like watching a drama series unfold right in front of us. Tim tells the group that he feels neglected, because Sara has bailed on their dates three times — three times in a row, mind you. He finally speaks up, and Sara? Well, let’s just say she doesn’t take it too well. Cue the shouting, storming off, and tears.

Tim tries to get a word in, but Sara’s not having any of it. She’s like a bulldozer, steamrolling over anything he tries to say. And just when you think it can’t get any more intense, Tim reaches his breaking point and raises his voice.

“I’m a patient guy, but I’m constantly being shut down and just spoken over,” he explains. 

Even some of the girls can see that Tim was pushed to him limit.

“Point of No Return”

“Sara just doesn’t have the ability to listen and hear what he’s trying to say,” Tori says, weighing in on the situation. “She’s very reactive, she doesn’t let Tim finish his sentences. I think the poor guy was just at a point of no return… let him speak.”

Tim’s all about that accountability, and wants to pull Sara aside to apologise. But Sara? Well, let’s just say she’s not exactly ready to bury the hatchet.

Sara’s preaching about communication, while simultaneously shutting Tim down every time he tries to speak his piece. It’s like watching a hamster run on a wheel — it’s going nowhere fast.

“There’s no reason for that to happen at all, you should never raise your voice at someone… Do not say that you didn’t have time to speak,” Sara tells Tim.

“Say how you feel on a day-to-day basis and maybe you wouldn’t blow up the way you’ve blown up. This is up to you to verbalise your emotions and say how you feel without tiptoeing around it.” 

Dramatic Walk Out, Round Two

Just when we were starting to think these two might actually be able to hash things out, Sara pulls the ultimate mic drop and storms off in tears, declaring she’s had enough of the whole circus. Talk about a dramatic exit.

But hey, that’s “MAFS” for you! The drama never sleeps… especially when a Commitment Ceremony is looming just around the corner. Do you think she overreacted?

Intimacy Week on “MAFS” has us all on the edge of our seats, especially when it comes to Jack and Tori’s relationship. Let’s dive into the “MAFS” recap and unpack what’s happening.

So, picture this: Tori’s all in. She’s hoping the genital cupping exercise might be just the ticket to finally heating things up between her and Jack. She’s practically oozing with anticipation, and compares Jack to a chocolate she’s dying to taste.

“There’s no denying I’m attracted to Jack,” Tori tells producers. “It’s like saying, ‘Just look at that chocolate, just think about what that tastes like’.”

But Jack? Well, let’s just say he’s not exactly reciprocating the vibes.

Tori’s initial alpha energy up to now has led us all to believe she would be the one calling the shots, but now she finds herself hanging, hoping for some of that dominant energy from Jack.

She adds: “I’ve never dated someone like Jack before, ever. That dominant, masculine energy. He gives me, ‘I wanna rip your clothes off’ vibe.”

Jack Has No Sexual Chemistry With Tori

Next up, Alessandra throws the group into separate intimacy workshops. Here, Jack drops a bombshell about his lack of sexual energy with Tori. But wait, it gets weirder. “It’s not a big WOW factor for me right now,” he tells cameras. But hey, feeling desired? That’s the ticket.

“I 100% like to feel desired in a relationship. Knowing that Tori’s into me and wants me, it does make me feel good and sexy,” he admits. “I love having power and control, and I know I’ve got her where I want her. The ball is in my court, it’s where I like it.”

The latest episode of “MAFS” was a rollercoaster ride from start to finish. We survived our very first Commitment Ceremony, but let’s just say… it was anything but smooth sailing. First off, the experts grilled Jack about his ex-girlfriend — talk about awkward. And then there’s Collins, who seems to think he’s auditioning for the role of the fourth “MAFS” expert. Seriously, the guy is living in his own world. Buckle up for this wild “MAFS” recap for episode 10.

But the drama doesn’t end there. Nope, we’re diving straight into Intimacy Week, and Alessandra Rampolla, the resident sexologist, has cooked up some seriously awkward tasks for the contestants — staring at strangers for minutes on end, timed make-out sessions, you name it.

Natalie Exits Collins’ Reality Show

But before we get into all that, first things first. Natalie has decided to leave the experiment. Yup! We see her wake up in a separate apartment from Collins after writing “leave” at the Commitment Ceremony.

Collins tried to pull out all the stops to convince her to stay, but it seems Natalie isn’t keen to give their marriage another chance. Also, can we talk about Collins acting like he’s delivering an Oscar-worthy performance? Talk about delusional.

“I can’t listen to you without feeling [an] orchestra,” Natalie says. “I cannot communicate with someone who talks to me like we’re on the set of ‘Neighbours’ or ‘Home and Away’. It feels so manufactured… it’s exhausting.”

Lauren Is Done With Jonathan Being Too… Nice?

Now, onto Intimacy Week. This week is supposed to bring couples closer together, but mostly, it’s just a whole lot of awkwardness. Take Lauren and Jonathan, for example. They can’t even handle the eye-gazing task without things going south.

TBH, having to stare into someone’s eyes for three whole minutes doesn’t exactly scream “intimate and sensual” to us. But here we are, another year of it. But Lauren’s issue seems to be less about to awkward eye contact, and more about her building frustration over Jonathan’s soft approach to everything. This girl is seemingly looking for a dude that screams red flags!

“If you think something, say it,” Lauren snaps. “Give me your real personality and then we can see if we actually like each other’s personalities, ‘cause right now I don’t really know what yours is.”

She adds: “I’m so sick of the ‘Let’s just do it, it’s gonna be OK’. I’m not doing this experiment with some serial killer that has the same response to everything.”

“It’s Like He’s a Robot”

But things really hit the fan when they can’t even make it through the listening task without it turning into a full-blown argument.

“It’s like he’s a robot,” Lauren tells producers.

Their communication breakdown leaves them both feeling frustrated and misunderstood. Jonathan feels like he can’t do anything right, and Lauren wonders if they’ll ever get on the same page.

“I’m not sticking around for auto-pilot, cruise-control, terminator. Like, what is going on? Is he a robot?” Lauren asks the cameras.

“She just wants me to give her how I’m feeling; it’s just not what I’m used to,” Jonathan explains. “I spent 20 years trying not to be reactive, being calm.”

Ah, the drama-filled dinner parties may keep us glued to our screens, but there’s just something about the “MAFS” Commitment Ceremonies that get our hearts racing. And guess what, folks? It’s that time again — the very first Commitment Ceremony of the season is upon us.

While some couples eagerly anticipate celebrating their budding connections, others brace themselves for some straight-up truth bombs from the experts. It’s a make-or-break moment, where couples must decide whether to stick it out and work on their relationships — or call it quits for good.

Thankfully, this episode does not disappoint. Jack and Tori are in the hot seat after some serious drama with Jack’s ex, and things hit the fan for Natalie and Collins. With experts John Aiken, Alessandra Rampolla, and Mel Schilling at the helm, you know they’re not holding back.

Lets dive into this “MAFS” recap for episode nine.

Jack and Tori In the Hot Seat

As Tori and Jack nervously take their seats on the couch, expert John wastes no time in addressing the elephant in the room — the article about Jack’s ex-girlfriend.

“The girl I was with, very passionate. I could tell she was looking for the long game. I felt like I ended that relationship as respectfully as I could,” Jack begins, attempting to explain his side.

John’s not one to beat around the bush, so he immediately presses for specifics.

Jack hesitates before reluctantly admitting he was dating this girl, “Probably seven, eight weeks, or eight or nine ago”.

John’s eyebrows shoot up. “So you were in a relationship with someone else while applying for ‘Married At First Sight’?”

Reluctantly, Jack says yes.

“It wasn’t serious, it was a weekend, friends with benefits relationship,” he clarifies quickly. “There’s no significance to it. It’s a disgruntled ex that I had a relationship with.”

Tori becomes visibly defensive, and brushes off concerns about Jack’s past.

“What he was doing the morning of the wedding and beyond is my concern,” she says. “What he was doing the night before and before that, to be brutally honest, I couldn’t give a f**k.”

But when Tori drops the bombshell that she and Jack have yet to be intimate, the experts are taken aback. Despite the confusion, Jack and Tori stand firm in their decision to stay.

Natalie and Collins Face the Experts

Natalie and Collins bring their own brand of fireworks to the ceremony. Immediately, they dive headfirst into a heavy topic — Natalie’s sudden departure from the experiment at the last Dinner Party. Natalie lays bare her feelings of isolation and her doubts about Collins’ authenticity.

“He noted that I was being negative and sour and talking bad things about the honeymoon,” Natalie recalls, looking sheepish. “So he knew I was becoming quite upset, but I had to ask him to hold my hand to walk into the dinner party even though I was shaking.”

Collins doesn’t shy away from owning up to his mistakes. He admits that he’s dropped the ball in showing affection towards Natalie. But when John presses him on how they can fix things, Collins finds himself in the hot seat, struggling to recall even one moment of affection.

“I may need to work on those specifics… but I’m really struggling because so far, since the beginning of the experiment, it’s been prevalent that Nat’s grief has been a huge part of this experiment,” Collins says.

Collins and John Butt Heads

John tries to shift the focus away from Natalie’s grief, but Collins isn’t having it. He finally finds his voice, challenging John’s authority and seeking some real talk.

“I came to you for advice, what should I do?” Collins snaps back. “You tell me. You’re not here to give me advice?”

John responds: “You have never been in a relationship with anybody before. You are talking to me like you are an expert.”

The room falls silent, stunned by Collins’ boldness. John offers Collins a gentle reminder of his expertise, and urges him to open up and recognise Natalie’s need for connection.

In the midst of the emotional turmoil, Natalie is ready to call it quits on the experiment. But Collins surprises everyone when he chooses to stay for another week.

And there you have it, folks — another whirlwind Commitment Ceremony in the books! As these couples navigate the ups and downs of love, one thing’s for sure — there’s never a dull moment on “MAFS”.

One thing about “MAFS” is we can never say we’ve seen it all. They’re always bringing some new chaos into the mix, and tonight’s “MAFS” episode recap is a prime example. We’re smack dab in the middle of Confessions Week, and let us tell you, it’s like a reality TV version of a pressure cooker in there.

‘Tinman Tim’ is feeling the heat this week, and not just because of all the cameras. The poor guy hates talking about feelings and emotions — you know, exactly what “MAFS” is asking him to do. Who would’ve thought, right?

Meanwhile, Lucinda’s over here and she’s head over heels for Tim, but there’s a little hiccup in paradise. Their values? Mostly in sync. Their bedroom vibes? Not so much.

At one point, Lucinda suggests a four-day tantric sex festival in the mountains, and Tim’s reaction is priceless.

“I don’t wanna walk around with hippies in the bush with my balls hanging out… call me old-fashioned,” he quips. We quite literally laughed out loud.

Lucinda Reminds Timothy of… His Dog?

Before tonight’s episode, Lucinda was already feeling a bit rejected regarding the sexual and romantic side of their relationship. Then, Timothy goes and rubs salt in the wound. Lucinda asks Tim about his lack of affection, and he drops a bombshell comparison — she’s reminding him of his “needy” dog, Matilda.

Matilda, Tim says, is like velcro — always sticking to him like glue the moment he steps through the door. And Lucinda? Well, she’s got that same magnetic quality, apparently.

Bless her heart, because Lucinda takes this comparison in stride. Who wouldn’t want to be compared to a loyal furry friend, right? But she also knows when to call a timeout.

“There’s so many rules and a massive shell there and I’ve got to be careful ‘cause I can be cheeky and poke him a bit,” she says of Timothy, before asking him for a cuddle.

Tensions Rise Between Lucinda and Timothy

After agreeing to back off a bit, or at least attempt to, Lucinda expresses frustration when Timothy chooses to watch TV instead of spending time with her.

So, what’s the deal? Well, Lucinda’s feeling like a wallflower at a dance, waiting for her partner to make a move. She’s not seeing the effort she craves, and she’s not afraid to let Tim know.

“I feel quite rejected in the intimacy, romantic stakes. I just don’t see much effort,” she says.

As tensions rise and emotions run high, Timothy feels like he’s “walking on eggshells”, while Lucinda feels more like she’s lost in translation. And just when you think they might be making progress, Tim pulls out the old “it’s not you, it’s me” line.

As the Cocktail Party kicks off, love is in the air, but so is the tension. Natalie and Collins are putting on a brave face, but underneath, there’s a storm brewing. Guess who just crashed the scene? Mitch Eynaud from the 2022 “MAFS” mayhem! Nope, he’s not here for a repeat “I do” session. He’s back to watch his bro, Jayden, take the plunge with a total stranger. Now, those sponsored deals must be paying well if he managed to convince his bro to hop on the “MAFS” train after his own stint.

Quick recap: Mitch and Ella Ding were the experiment’s power couple — or so we thought. But, oh boy, Mitch found himself tangled in camera chaos, commitment issues, and even a cheeky cheating scandal with another bride.

“It’s very nostalgic… looking back at it now, I wish I did trust it (the experiment) a little bit more and just poured my heart out, being honest and all those things,” Mitch tells cameras.

And surprise, surprise, she’s not the only one keeping an eye on the groom. Are we in for a “MAFS” scandal already? Tori’s mum practically has heart emojis in her eyes as Jack walks down the aisle.

“He’s very handsome, and very sweet! And he’s charming. I do have a crush on Jack,” she spills to producers.

“Even if it doesn’t work with Tori, you can come home with me,” she cheekily tells Jack.

During Tori’s wedding vows, she drops the bombshell that she’s a bit of a control freak.

“It definitely spiked my ears,” Jack confesses to a producer. “But, looking through those eyes, she seems sweet. I think she’ll challenge me a little bit, but I definitely reckon I’ll sort her out, and we’ll have a good time.”

He adds: “I definitely want to play that dominant role to Tori; it might be a bit of a power struggle. But I feel like she’s gonna be a good girl.”

“Who Has My Friend Married?”

Fast forward to the reception, and Jack’s guest list is like a fitness fanatics’ dream. He goes around the room introducing his guests, and surprise, surprise, they’re all gym clients. Tori’s best friend Leah, however, smells trouble.

“When it comes to Jack, I just have a weird feeling; it’s just an intuition that I have,” she tells the cameras.

“Is this a reflection of his inability to have long-term relationships? And that’s what clicked for me… who has my friend married?”

Leah pulls Tori aside to voice her concerns over Jack’s authenticity. Where are the high school buddies, and why is the gym crew the star of the show at his wedding? Ever the optimist, Tori brushes it off, thinking she can handle Jack’s quirks.

“We’re Not Sexually Connected”

As the newlyweds jet off to Vanuatu for some one-on-one time, the plot thickens. Tori believes they’re on the same wavelength, but Jack is struggling to find that romantic spark. He admits there’s “no sexual sparks” between them.

“We’re not sexually connected at all,” Jack admits.

“I’ve got a pretty high sex drive. I need to be invested in the girl and I need to be connected. If I’m not, I’d rather be by myself.”
