BEVERLY — An intoxicated man fell from an exterior fire escape at The Cabot during a show at the theater Sunday night, Beverly police spokesman Mike Boccuzzi said.
Police were called to the theater just after 8:30 p.m., when the man had fallen from a fire escape on the Judson Street side of the building, Boccuzzi said.

Dozens of family members, friends and local officials came together Saturday at Our Lady of Good Voyage Church during a vigil held to pay homage to the seven individuals missing after the fishing vessel the Lily Jean sank Friday morning.

PEABODY — Bishop Fenwick President Tom Nunan will step down from his role at the end of the school year, board of trustees Chair Peter Tremblay said in a letter to the school’s community Thursday.
