  • 25 holiday TV offerings to watch, ranging from comedies to rom-coms and cozy mysteries

Whether you prefer something naughty, like the animated movie “Grandma Got Ran Over By a Reindeer” or nice, like classics “The Sound of Music” and “Home Alone,” streamers, cable and broadcast networks offer up festive choices in December.

Highlights this year include music specials with Derek Hough and Jimmy Fallon, the Rockefeller Tree lighting hosted by Reba McEntire, Lacey Chabert’s latest Hallmark Channel movie, NFL games and even cozy mysteries with a Christmas theme.

    Here are some highlights.

    Dec. 1

    — “Dancing with the Stars” judge Derek Hough hosts the annual “The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular” on ABC. Popular recording artists including Nicole Scherzinger, Gwen Stefani, Trisha Yearwood and Mariah the Scientist put their own spin on Christmas classics. Streams next day on Hulu and Disney+.

    Dec. 3

    — Reba McEntire hosts NBC’s annual “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” which culminates in the lighting of the giant Christmas tree in New York’s Rockefeller Center. This year’s tree is a Norway spruce from Greenbush, New York. It has more than 50,000 colored lights and is topped with a Swarovski star that weighs 900 pounds. The special will also stream live on Peacock.

    — Some people find holiday prep daunting. It comes naturally to Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, whose life seems to be a Pinterest page. She’s got ideas to share in a special episode of Netflix’s “With Love, Meghan” lifestyle series. In “With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration,” Meghan taps guests including Naomi Osaka and Tom Colicchio to bake, make treats with holiday flair and craft. “Being a hostess or a host, it’s about making people feel comfortable,” the royal says.

    Dec. 5

    — In the new Apple TV special, “The First Snow of Fraggle Rock,” the Fraggles are anxiously waiting for snow to kick off their festive season. Instead, a single snowflake falls, leaving Gobo, feeling uninspired to write an annual holiday song. For the first time, he ventures into the human world to seek out ideas. The special is a reminder that unplanned moments can also come with their own magic.

    — Roku Channel has a follow-up to the holiday romance “Jingle Bell Love” starring Joey McIntyre of New Kids on the Block and Michelle Morgan. In “Jingle Bell Wedding,” Jack and Jessica are engaged and looking forward to a New Year’s Eve wedding. They’re also in charge of organizing an annual Christmas concert. Will all the planning derail their relationship?

    Dec. 6

    — Lacey Chabert works for Santa Claus in the new Hallmark Channel movie “She’s Making a List.” Chabert plays Isabel, whose job is to track kids’ behavior throughout the year. Isabel’s strict rules lighten up a bit when she’s assigned to report on an 11-year-old whose father Jason (Andrew Walker) is a widower. Chabert and Walker previously co-starred in a Valentine’s Day movie for Hallmark in 2018. “She’s Making a List” also streams on Hallmark+.

    — The OWN original, “The Christmas Showdown,” reunites Amber Stevens West and Corbin Reid from the acclaimed Starz comedy “Run the World.” They play former besties competing for the same job who learn it’s better to work as a team. Loretta Devine also stars.

    Dec. 7

    — How about a cozy mystery this Christmas? UPtv offers the new film “A Christmas Murder Mystery.” Vera Vexley is a puzzle editor for her local newspaper who also has a side-gig as a detective. When Vera’s invited to spend the holidays with family friends, a murder launches her into investigative-mode and everyone is a suspect.

    Dec. 9

    — A new two-hour, faith-based special tells the story of Mary, Joseph and the birth of Jesus in “Kevin Costner Presents: The First Christmas” for ABC. The Oscar winner serves as host and narrator.

    Dec. 10

    — Zooey Deschanel and Charlie Cox co-star in a new holiday rom-com called “Merv” for Prime Video. The pair play exes who share joint custody of their dog Merv. When Merv is visibly depressed because his human parents are no longer together, they take him on a trip to cheer him up.

    — The animated movie “Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer” is an adaptation on the farcical song of the same name. In the special, airing on The CW Network, a boy sets out to find his missing grandmother on Christmas Eve.

    Dec. 11

    — The Dolly Parton song, “Coat of Many Colors” comes to life in a TV movie airing for the first time on the CW. Set against the Smoky Mountains in the 1950s, it’s about the Parton family and how their love, faith — and a patchwork coat — help them to move past tragedy. Alyvia Alyn Lind plays young Dolly and Jennifer Nettles and Rick Schroeder portray her mom and dad. “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors” originally debuted in 2015.

    — Jimmy Fallon’s musical comedy special from last year gets a repeat. In “Jimmy Fallon’s Holiday Seasoning Spectacular,” the “Tonight Show” host searches a New York apartment building for the holiday spirit and encounters different celebrity guests behind each door. Jonas Brothers, Justin Timberlake, LL Cool J, the Roots and “Weird Al” Yankovic all appear.

    Dec. 12

    — AMC’s annual holiday programming includes a marathon of Will Ferrell’s “Elf” beginning at 6 p.m. It broadcasts back-to-back for eight-hours.

    Dec. 13

    — Apple TV streams the beloved favorite “A Charlie Brown Christmas” for free on Dec. 13 and Dec. 14.

    — In “A Suite Holiday Romance” for Hallmark Channel, Jessy Schram stars a ghostwriter who checks-in to a fancy New York hotel for a job writing a memoir. She meets a handsome Brit (Dominic Sherwood) and the two experience a series of misunderstandings until they realize they’re meant to be.

    Dec. 14

    — HGTV returns to the White House at Christmas for a one-hour special that goes behind-the-scenes of its decorating transformation at the holidays. It also streams next day on HBO Max and Discovery+.

    — On the first night of Hanukkah, Hallmark Channel premieres the new movie “Oy to the World!” When the pipes burst at a local synagogue, a church opens its doors for an interfaith service. Brooke D’Orsay and Jake Epstein play choir directors who were also rivals in high school that must work together to put on a successful event for all.

    Dec. 15

    — Acorn TV has a two-part Christmas special of “The Madame Blanc Mysteries” airing Dec. 15 and Dec. 22. British actor Sally Lindsay plays antique dealer Jean White, who visits the France museum Maison Sainte-Victoire on Christmas Eve to authenticate an Ormolu box once owned by Marie Antoinette. It’s discovered that the box contains a ticking time bomb and Jean and her team have just 90 minutes to diffuse it.

    Dec. 16

    — “The Nutcracker” ballet is a Christmas classic, and PBS is offering a reimagined version taped at the London Coliseum. Still set to Tchaikovsky’s score, this version centralizes Clara’s story and is set in Edwardian London where a street scene has dancing chimney sweeps and suffragettes. “Great Performances: Nutcracker from English National Ballet” will also be available for streaming on PBS.org and the PBS app.

    Dec. 20

    — Lifetime is jumping on the pickleball popularity bandwagon with the new movie “A Pickleball Christmas.” It stars James Lafferty as a tennis pro whose family’s racquet club is on the brink of closing its doors. He and a tennis instructor take part in a holiday tournament to save the day.

    Dec. 21

    — Tate Donovan and Jillian Murphy star in a new Christmas movie for Great American Family called “Mario Lopez Presents: Chasing Christmas.” In the film, Donovan plays a morning show host and Murphy a designer who team up to make a child’s Christmas wish come true. Lopez’s son Dominic also has a role.

    — The Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer classic “The Sound of Music” airs on ABC.

    Dec. 24

    — “Home Alone” airs on ABC. The film made Macaulay Culkin a child star for playing a boy whose parents accidentally leave him home when their large family hurries off on a Christmas vacation. He’s left to defend his house against two clumsy burglars.

    Dec. 25

    — Netflix is gifting us with football on Christmas again this year. The Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders game is at 1 p.m. Eastern followed by the Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings at 4:30 p.m. Eastern.

  • Petal & Pup’s Social Hour Edit: Let These 5 Christmas Songs Be The Ultimate Plus-One To Your Holiday Party Dress

A couple of prawns taking a deep dive into seafood sauce, ‘Six White Boomers’ by Greg Champion spiralling out of a rogue portable speaker like it’s doing laps around the barbecue, and an arm-wrestle that somehow evolves into a full-blown bon-bon showdown until everyone’s wearing those crunchy paper crowns—yeah, that’s basically the blueprint for the greatest holiday work party ever drafted. The only thing missing? You looking just as festive as the chaos.

Enter: Petal & Pup. The Aussie-based boutique has just launched The Social Hour Edit—a sparkly little line made exclusively for Australians, built for warm nights, rooftop rosé, and any event where sandals are socially acceptable at Christmas. Here’s the twist: some of the pieces in that edit are actually borrowed from their Holiday Party Edit, which is the glitz-heavy collection they released just for the U.S. winter girlies. Think snow-season sparkle repurposed for southern-hemisphere summer fun. Glittering dresses, raisin-bead embellishments, and jewellery so cute your ears will be blushing—yes please.

And while we’re absolutely ready to hit the loop button on Greg until someone stages an intervention, we’re also living for the avalanche of new Christmas originals and covers that have dropped this season. So, consider this your pre-party AUX takeover: our top five festive tracks, each paired with a Social Hour Edit dress you can full-body shimmy into.

The Honey POP received samples from Petal & Pup’s The Social Hour Edit collection in exchange for editorial promotion.

    Kesha’s ‘Holiday Road’

Alright, so, maybe this spunky, synth-splashed Kesha cover of Lindsey Buckingham’s ‘Holiday Road’ first dropped as a Spotify Singles Holiday exclusive and racked up 52 million worldwide streams—but now that it’s finally everywhere (DSPs, streaming, the North Pole’s rotation… obviously Santa has taste), it’s officially back on our festive loop. And for all the vinyl lovers manifesting a little needle-to-groove magic under the tree, it’s getting its first-ever 7” vinyl release for Record Store Day Black Friday 2025 on November 28. Consider this your cosmic nudge to start hinting early.

Kesha’s whole vibe is pure expression—bold colors, unapologetic glitter, and that delicious sense of why be subtle when you can be iconic? Which is exactly why the floral Martha Maxi Dress is her energy twin. A halterneck, floor-length moment with an A-line skirt, it’s effortlessly gorgeous in the way that looks like you wandered out of a garden party hosted by a pop star and somehow became the main character without even trying.

Jonas Brothers’ ‘Coming Home This Christmas’

Our favorite snatcher—lollies, guitars, Kevin Jonas’ entire existence in the ‘Coming Home For Christmas’ video, he’s taking it all—plus resident glitter-thrower Nick, and, because we’re absolutely pretending he slipped his new catchphrase into the festive chaos, “Bing Bing Bong” Joe. All three of our beloved brothers are literally going home for the holidays… and by home, we mean Disney. A Very Jonas Christmas is now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu, which feels exactly right for the trio we basically grew up with.

Their new song—co-written with the brothers, Kenny G, and producers David Stewart and Luke Batt—is a warm, cinnamon-scented ode to what actually matters this season: family. And that’s why the yellow Alima Sleeveless Maxi Dress is the vibe match. It’s the perfect minimalist staple, whether you’re curled up on the couch with your partner for your annual movie marathon or helping your parents wrestle the tree into its stand. With a clean boat neckline that highlights your shoulders, a drapey back cowl, and a sly little side split, it has that magical “I totally didn’t try this hard” energy… even though it looks like you absolutely did.

Carter Faith Featuring William Beckmann’s ‘Nothin’ For Christmas’

Our girl in red—no, genuinely, Carter Faith dipped her brush straight into cherry pigment and painted her whole debut era Cherry Valley with it—has teamed up with William Beckmann for a two-track festive duo drop, A Cherry Valley Holiday. Carter takes the lead with a velvety cover of The Eagles’ ‘Please Come Home for Christmas’, while both of them lean into the heart-squeeze of the original ‘Nothin’ For Christmas’—that song that perfectly captures the angst of skipping Secret Santa because the only gift you actually want (your crush) still hasn’t shown up under the metaphorical tree.

Now, follow us here because this is where Petal & Pup’s double-universe moment comes in. On the U.S. Holiday Edit, the stunning Jeannie Maxi Dress—a cross-halter moment with a dreamy faux-pearl back—is dipped in deep, festive red. But on the Aussie site, the exact same dress pulls a sunny switch-up in yellow. Still magical, still “main character walking into the party at golden hour”—just a different flavor of iconic.

With its floral lace trim floating along the hem of its maxi-length silhouette, we’re obsessed with both versions. It’s giving multiverse couture, and honestly? We’re thriving.

    LOCASH’s ‘Snow Angel’

So, we’re getting a little colour-confused here, but honestly? Perfect timing—because enter the LOCASH duo Preston Brust and Chris Lucas for the ultimate Christmas hue tug-of-war. Their original track, ‘Snow Angel,’ gently reminds us that blue absolutely belongs on the holiday mood board. Co-written with Andy Albert and produced by Jacob Rice, the country-spun carol paints their significant other as their “snow angel,” cozying up the season with romantic little snowflakes of gratitude for all the memories their muses help shape.

And sure, the Bonita Maxi Dress is technically mint green, but if you squint (or just lean into the vibe), it totally gives a soft winter blue—at least its resin bead detailing does, complete with gold-tone hardware and that dreamy blue bead right at the bust. This floor-length V-neck moment features a contrast lace trim and gives off the exact energy of someone who effortlessly floats into the room like the warm-weather version of a snow angel.

Laufey’s ‘Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town’

By now, we all know that if anyone’s helping steer Santa’s sleigh, it’s our jazz titan Laufey. Between her Christmas EPs, Bill Murray casually popping into her ‘Santa Baby’ music video last year, and now going full North Pole mode with her album A Very Laufey Holiday—a seven-track love letter to the season—everything she touches in December turns into pure festive ambience. Her cover of Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town’ is no exception: a classic given a whimsical, humming revival, sprinkled with wistful whistles and those signature Laufey inflections that feel like a warm mug of something sweet.

And if we’re celebrating Santa’s season properly, nothing screams “festive party mode activated” like the Eisley Halter Midi Dress in orange sequins. With its glitter-drenched fabric, halterneck tie that shows off your back, and a deep V-neckline bringing the drama front and center, it’s basically made for Christmas Eve parties—the kind where you sparkle so bright the tree starts getting jealous.

So tell us—which dress are you low-key manifesting your bestie will wrap up for you this season? Drop your fave over on our Twitter, Facebook, or Insta so you can, you know, casually leave the universe (and your friend) the most obvious breadcrumb trail ever. Manifestation, but make it social-media-friendly. 💅✨

The Jonas Brothers are celebrating their 20th year together as a band — longer as brothers, of course— with a massive tour, and they’re showing no signs of slowing down.

The “JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown” tour launched in August, complete with surprise guests and collaborations at almost every stop. Since then, they continue to add dates to the tour, extending it through the end of December.

Wednesday night, Nick Jonas, 32, Joe Jonas, 35, and Kevin Jonas, 37, brought their career-spanning concert to Raleigh’s Lenovo Center. The lineup shines a spotlight on “every chapter of Jonas Brothers’ 20-year journey,” according to publicity notes.

That includes their hits as a trio along with solo projects from Nick Jonas & the Administration and Joe Jonas’ group, DNCE. Earlier this week in Orlando, Kevin Jonas announced his debut solo single, “Changing.”

They will bring the tour to Charlotte on Nov. 5.

Here are photos from the Raleigh concert with The All American Rejects as the opening act.

  • Jonas Brothers are on the way to Orlando for two nights of pop hits

    Credit: Courtesy

The boys are back in town and ready to perform not one, but two nights at the Kia Center as part of their reunion “JONAS20 Greetings From Your Hometown” tour.

This tour marks a huge milestone in their career, as after 20 years of various ups and downs, the brothers reconvened and released a new album, Greetings From Your Hometown. There will be familiar hits, new songs and even solo interludes (bathroom break?) from the three siblings.

Fan demand led to another night being added, so the setlists will likely be even more expansive. Opening the show is The All-American Rejects, but past shows have revealed the brothers’ knack for bringing out nostalgia-riffic surprise guests as well.

    7:30 p.m. Sunday-Monday, Oct. 26-27, Kia Center, 400 W. Church St., kiacenter.com, $94-$464.

  • The Jonas Brothers Celebrate 20 Years at the Toyota Center – Houston Press

    The Jonas Brothers
    Toyota Center
    October 19, 2025

In the words of LL Cool J, don’t call it a comeback.

So, I won’t. Let’s go with part-very-loyal-pre-existing-fan-base, part-resurgence, then. That’s what it feels like to a non-Jonatic, when the Jonas Brothers somehow keep popping up on their feed – most recently, in an ad for A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, coming to Disney+ on November 14.

The year 2025 is definitely part of the reason, as it’s Kevin, Joe, and Nick’s 20th anniversary as a band. To mark the occasion, the New Jersey-born brothers have been keeping busy.  There was JonasCon in March; a live album, Live from the O2 London, in June; and a studio album, Greetings from Your Hometown, in August. Not to mention a few collaborations with artists like Marshmello and Rascal Flatts, Joe’s second album, Music for People Who Believe in Love, released back in May, and the announcement of a Camp Rock 3 incoming.

And, of course, there’s the Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour, which brought the band to the Toyota Center last night.

The family affair of it all extended past Kevin, Joe, and Nick, as brother-in-law Michael Deleasa performed DJ sets before the openers and right before the brothers took the stage. And, of course, the first opener of the evening was Franklin Jonas.

“I think a lot of us grew up together,” said Franklin. “See, I’m a lot of y’all’s little brother, and I’m so grateful that I am, tell you what.”

Just five years old when his brothers released their debut album in 2006, Franklin has since grown up and moved on to self-awarely co-hosting the celebrity-relative reality show Claim to Fame with Kevin and releasing his own EP in 2023. With guitar and banjo backing him up, Franklin performed a 15-minute set of original songs from his current project, Franklin Jonas & The Byzantines, along with covers of George Strait’s “All My Ex’s Live in Texas” and Coldplay’s “Yellow.”

During “Yellow,” he jumped off the stage, crossed the floor, and made the trek up into the club level, eventually traversing from sections 110 to 117. Though the moment had the arena buzzing, his stripped-down, country-tinged introspection brought an unexpected depth to the night. Songs like “Village Liquors,” with lines like “Too young to live, too young to die / I’m the aftermath of youth I sacrifice,” and “Road Soda,” with its refrain “Nothing I love more than hating my life,” marked him as a grittier, moodier counterpoint to the coming main event.

The All-American Rejects, guests at the aforementioned JonasCon, were up next. And as soon as the lights went down, fans in black-and-white checkered pants and band tees – mostly JoBros – jumped out of their seats for some light headbanging.

Founded in Oklahoma in 1999, the band leaned right into that nostalgia with their lead-off song, “Dirty Little Secret,” from 2005’s Move Along, before tearing through the rest of their high-energy, nine-song set. Turns out, two decades later, those mid-2000s pop-punk anthems have not lost their punch, as fans happily bopped along to the band’s breakthrough hit, “Swing, Swing,” and sneered out the chorus of “Gives You Hell” like they were just waiting for the chance.

Frontman and bassist Tyson Ritter was unpredictable and playful, bantering freely with the crowd (and sometimes, inexplicably, in a German accent). There was a back-and-forth with a fan who brought a sign that said, simply, “Reject me.”

“All right, well. Proposition me,” Ritter countered to the sound of laughter and catcalls.

Much to the audience’s delight, the love fest went both ways. “We play a lot of these JoBros shows,” he told the crowd, “and I’ll tell you what, this crowd right here—you jumpers, you people that are actually into this shit—I am all about.” So about it, he pulled out a “giant invisible knife” and said: “I’m dipping it into the invisible honey and I’m spreading it all over your ass cracks that’s how much I love you. And I will happily eat a sandwich out of that place – that’s how endeared I am.”

Unsurprisingly, Ritter noted that “the JoBros team” don’t like it when he swears.

Almost exactly on time, the lights dropped for the last time, and the arena erupted as the Jonas Brothers cracked open a time capsule with “Year 3000,” the Busted cover that launched their Disney-era fame. The song was met with deafening screams. There’s no way to say for sure, but it seemed everyone in the building knew, and shouted, every lyric. The brothers jumped to the present with “Love Me to Heaven,” the first single off Greetings from Your Hometown. They also took the opportunity to do some introductions.

“Tonight, we are celebrating 20 years together, and not just the three of us on this stage, but each and every one of you who’s part of this story,” said Nick.

From there and across the hour and 45 minutes they stayed on stage, the atmosphere remained celebratory and joyous, stretching across the years as the band seamlessly threaded early hits like “S.O.S.” and “Lovebug” into their set alongside their more recent material. This included five tracks off Greetings, showing that while their sound has grown and evolved, their pop instincts are perfectly intact. That sound, by the way, was further brought to life by an impressive 11-piece backing band with a particularly well-utilized horn section.

Between songs, the brothers’ camaraderie and warmth came through. Joe dedicated “Little Bird” to parents and anyone who plays a parental role and later led a fan-request segment that produced snippets of deep cuts like “Got Me Going Crazy,” “You Got the Right,” and “Inseparable.” “Spaceman,” requested by Kevin for Nick, drew loud cheers for its Houston mention.

Luckily, the set list had room for a couple of solo spotlights. Joe turned the arena into a dance party with “Cake by the Ocean,” introduced by his DNCE guitarist JinJoo Lee, while Nick’s sultry “Jealous” showed his skill for R&B-infused pop. Colombian singer Ela Taubert emerged onto the stage to join Joe for “¿Cómo Pasó?,” a song she performed with him at last year’s Latin Grammys, and stayed for the following song, “Slow Motion.”

The night’s nostalgia reached its peak during a Camp Rock sing-along. Collectively, “Play My Music,” “Gotta Find You,” and “Introducing Me” got some of the biggest pops of the night. But as the night wound down, the focus shifted from those Disney Channel memories to something more personal.

Before the confetti and goodbyes, the brothers circled back to where it all began with “Please Be Mine,” the first song they ever wrote together. Finally, Franklin returned to the stage to join them for “When You Look Me in the Eyes.” Together, the two songs triumphantly underscored the tour’s familial and retrospective themes, and the celebration was complete.

  • Here’s The Official Cast For Disney Channel’s Camp Rock 3

Disney Channel and Disney+ are back, once again, to pull on our nostalgic heartstrings. They’ve hit us with the biggest news of the year – Camp Rock 3 is officially greenlit. Disney announced the full cast today, featuring both new and familiar faces. Our favorite childhood stars are returning, and we could not be more excited. “It’s on, it’s on, it’s on!

“The story picks up when Connect 3 lose their opening act for a major reunion tour, returning to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing. As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations and romances.”

Ayo Davis, president, Disney Branded Television, said in a press release

    The Returning Stars

    Demi Lovato

Yes, it’s officially been announced that Demi Lovato will reprise their role of Mitchie Torres in Camp Rock 3! We’re so glad Demi is back for the third rendition of the iconic Disney Channel movie franchise. Right on the heels of their new album, It’s Not That Deep, Demi is destined for greatness the rest of the year and into 2026. We’ll always be here supporting Demi!

    Maria Canals-Barrera

Momma Connie Torres is back! The Camp Rock franchise certainly isn’t complete without Disney legend Maria Canals-Barrera. You know and love her as the Russo-family matriarch in Wizards of Waverly Place, but we have a special place for her character Connie in our hearts as well. Will she still be the camp chef? Or will she take on a new title in Camp Rock 3?

    Kevin Jonas

Any Camp Rocker knows that Kevin was the comedic relief and one of the best characters in the original Camp Rock movies. He’ll be reprising his role of Jason Gray, the junior Camp Rockers’ favorite camp counselor. Maybe we’ll finally get a solo Kevin Jonas moment?

    Nick Jonas

If you had a crush on Nate Gray in 2008, welcome to the club. We may have read one too many fan fictions about meeting our favorite singer, aka Nick Jonas, at a summer camp and falling deeply in love over playing guitar and “a homemade quesadilla.” All that to say, Nick Jonas is returning to Camp Rock 3!

    Joe Jonas

Obviously, if his brothers Kevin and Nick are returning, Joe Jonas has to be back, too. We couldn’t leave mega superstar Shane Gray out of the picture….let’s just hope their tour bus doesn’t fall over a cliff and into a lake again. We wonder what type of classic Disney Channel shenanigans the Gray brothers will get up to in this new movie?

“‘Camp Rock’ is an important part of the Disney Channel Original Movie legacy, with unforgettable music, energetic storytelling, and characters that live in the hearts of fans to this day. Bringing it back with Kevin, Joe, Nick and Demi is such a full-circle moment, and we can’t wait to reintroduce this world to a new generation.”

Ayo Davis, president, Disney Branded Television, stated in a press release

    The New Faces

    Malachi Barton

Enter camp bad boy Fletch. You may know the name Malachi Barton from Disney+’s Zombies 4: Dawn Of The Vampires and Stuck In The Middle. Barton is a Disney Channel vet and will be a new camper at Camp Rock this summer.

    Brooklynn Pitts

You may know Brooklynn from the 2023 TV show Chicken Girls, but if not, you’ll fall right in love with her character in Camp Rock 3. Pitts’ character, Callie, is the choreography lead in this new movie. Every camper wants her moves, and honestly, so do we.

Image Source: Courtesy of Disney Television Entertainment
    Casey Trotter

Casey Trotter joins the cast of Camp Rock 3 as Cliff, the drummer with his own beat and style. You’ll know Casey from Disney Channel’s The Thundermans: Undercover, but now he’s taking over the Disney movie scene! We can’t wait to hear what kind of musical talent he brings to the big screen.

    Ava Jean

It’s not summer camp in the year 2025 without an influencer or two. Actress Ava Jean is entering Camp Rock 3 as Madison, the intimidating and confident influencer who is always camera-ready. This is probably the new character that we’ll find ourselves relating to the most.

    Lumi Pollack

You’ll know Lumi Pollack from the 2021 movie, The Fallout, starring Jenna Ortega. Now, she’s making her Disney Channel debut as Rosie, the cello prodigy, ready to take Camp Rock by storm. The other new faces better watch out, Pollack is clearly a force to be reckoned with.

    Liamani Segura

Emerging actress Liamani Segura has secured the role of Sage on Camp Rock 3. Sage’s character is described as “bold” and “determined,” but fans know little else about her. You may recognize Segura’s name from Disney Channel’s High School Musical: The Musical and Descendants: Wicked Wonderland.

    Hudson Stone

Another new face to the Camp Rock franchise is 13-year-old Hudson Stone. His character, Desi, is Sage’s brother, so we’re expecting to see a lot of Hudson and Liamani on screen together. Desi is described as “easygoing,” and we know that Hudson is a musician himself. We can’t wait to see his talent shine on screen!

Whoa, what an amazing cast reveal! If you haven’t seen Camp Rock or Camp Rock 2 in a while, take this as your sign to head to Disney+ and get to streaming! Are you as excited about Camp Rock 3 as we are? Which new character are you looking forward to learning more about? Let us know down in the comments or on FacebookInstagram, and Twitter

  • Every Disney Icon, Band Reunion, and Pop Star Cameo at the Jonas Brothers Tour

Big Rob, Demi Lovato, John Legend.
Photo-Illustration: Illustration: Vulture. Photos: Getty Images

The Jonas Brothers have it figured out. So many of their peers and colleagues from Disney Channel or the 2000s/2010s music scene are re-recording their music or making a comeback to the studio. Why not give them a platform for their return? It’s a win-win; their crowd, who obviously is very nostalgic for their favorite Disney band, will love it, the musicians get exposure to their direct audience, and the Jonas Brothers get to book their pals/idols. It’s simply too good. Below, every band jam, pop star surprise, and Disney reunion from the Greetings from Your Hometown tour (More like Greetings from Your Beloved iTunes library.)

*While technically not everyone on this list appeared on Disney Channel, they were absolutely being played on Radio Disney. Or by tween with an iPod Nano in the 2010s. It’s also fair to say they weren’t only famous on Disney Channel, but that’s probably where you first met them.

    Photo: Kevin Mazur/Getty Images

This is real. Demi Lovato reunited with her ex Joe Jonas on the August 10 show to sing Camp Rock favs like “This Is Me” and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing.” They’re exactly where they’re supposed to be — making a big comeback.

His “Beautiful Soul” joined the brothers in Fenway Park before he started “Leavin’” after his set was done.

The crowd was on fire as Big Rob surprised everyone with his “Burnin’ Up” verse during opening night.

The Click Five is now the Click Three (not really, but three original members are still in the band), and they obviously sang, “Just the Girl,” even if she, like, totally wouldn’t care.

A powerhouse singer in her teens and a powerhouse singer in her adulthood, JoJo probably makes everyone almost faint as she came out to sing “Leave (Get Out).” Has Boston checked their seismometer for that date? There might be some interesting readings from all the jumping and dancing.

Cabrera stopped “On the Way Down” in Texas to sing his 2004 hit. Similar to other early 2000s guests, he also re-recorded his hit recently.

It was worth it. After a seven-year hiatus, Ally Brooke, Normani, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui announced their comeback during the Dallas show, singing “Work From Home” and “Worth It.”

5SOS had the perfect crowd to surprise with “She Looks So Perfect.” Because if you bought tickets to see a boy band, wouldn’t you love to see another boy band? The answer is yes.

They were “Meant to Live” on the MetLife stage after re-recording their Columbia Records debut of The Beautiful Letdown. Switchfoot joined the brothers on tour twice, singing “Dare You to Move” in Chula Vista for the second cameo.

All Time Low jumped in at the Gainesville show to sing “Dear Maria, Count Me In.”

Mmmmmm yeah. Another trio of brothers came to sing “MMMBop” for Virginia Beach crowd.

Cartel has a lot to say. They sang “Say Anything (Else)” in Hershey, PA. The band recently rereleased their hit album Chroma, out now.

You don’t need a reason to see Hoobastank. They surprised all the millennials in the crowd to sing “The Reason.” A perfect evening if you ask me.

Joe shared how much Dashboard Confessional has influenced his songwriting, specifically with “Take a Breath.” They sang “Vindicated” in Fenway Park.

A perfect surprise for those who love a good iPod playlist. The Chicago, Tinley Park enjoyed “Hey There Delilah,” and most likely experienced a nostalgic drive home, thinking of their MySpace profile song.

The Jonas Brothers dared to ask: Hey, what other song can we add to the setlist that will make everyone cry? The easiest answer is “All of Me” from John Legend for their LA show.

On opening night, he sang “Loved You Better,” his collab with the boys on Greetings from Your Hometown.

If the world was ending, JP Saxe has the perfect song for it. He sang “If the World Was Ending” and stayed on stage to play guitar during “Gotta Find You.”

The love for Alessia Cara is multi-generational for the Jonas family. Kevin shared how much his family, specifically his daughters, love her music as she sang “Scars to Your Beautiful” in Toronto.

There’s always room to introduce a rising star to new audiences. Russell Dickerson came out to sing “Happen to Me” in Detroit.

Peter Pan Syndrome? Yuck! Kelsea Ballerini singing “Peter Pan” in Dallas? Hooray!

The singer and former Dancing With The Stars star (who famously tried to get voted off the show because he really missed his cat) sang “I’m Yours” in Chula Vista.

  • Jonas Brothers announce second Orlando tour date

    Credit: Photo via Jonas Brothers/Facebook

After plenty of boy-band-fan demand and an already sold-out Orlando concert date, the Jonas Brothers have announced a second show at the Kia Center this October.

The Disney Channel-born musical trio of bros will now perform at the Kia Center on both Oct. 26 and 27 as part of their “JONAS20 Greetings From Your Hometown” tour.

The now two-night run will be the brothers’ latest visit to Orlando since the “Five Albums. One Night” tour that stopped in town back in October 2023.

The Jonas Brothers described this 20-year-in-the-making performance as their favorite tour so far, on a recent Instagram post

And they’ve certainly made that clear, as they’ve featured plenty of big-name and fellow Disney Channel-launched special guests, among them Demi Lovato, Fifth Harmony and the Plain White T’s,  at earlier dates so far on the tour. The tour’s setlist has comprised music from each of the members’ later professional careers, with plenty of heartthrob nostalgic sounds and sights sprinkled in.

The All American Rejects open the show.

If you missed the chance to snag tickets to the now sold-out Orlando show on Oct. 26, tickets for the new show on Oct. 27 are on sale this week. Artist presale kicked off Wednesday, and general public sale will start Friday, Sept. 5, at 10 a.m.

The Jonas Brothers will also play in Tampa on Wednesday, Oct. 22, and in Sunrise on Friday, Oct. 24.

  • 3 Short Stories From Merging Jonas Brothers And Mimi Webb Lyrics Together To Celebrate FIVE ALBUMS. ONE NIGHT.’s Europe Leg

3 Short Stories From Merging Jonas Brothers And Mimi Webb Lyrics Together To Celebrate FIVE ALBUMS. ONE NIGHT.’s Europe Leg

The Jonas Brothers have been taking us on a “journey” for a while now. We don’t just mean a musical one, flipping through their discography and piecing it together through cringy side fringes and the dreary notes of turbulent loves. But rather, we’re stealing a word from Nick. He often parrots it in the opening speech for their FIVE ALBUMS. ONE NIGHT. tour, which is as decadent as it sounds. From the three of them—Joe and Kevin, in case we’re having a momentary Wattpad story memory blank—springing up on stage like fabric-printed Powerpuff Girls to taking over the visuals for a kiss cam, there’s not a moment when we’re not chowing down our Rob’s Backstage Popcorn.

Having just finished creating a pleasurable frenzy in Latin America, they’re switching international borders to raise their pinkies for a cup of Joe with the Europe leg. And we’re nowhere near wanting to erase it. Despite their opening act, Mimi Webb’s latest song, ‘Erase You.’ In a universe-realigning moment, as she was supposed to sing during their Royal Albert Hall gig, she took to TikTok in June. She was a flailing mess just like us to ‘S.O.S.’ We’re still looking for help because we have no idea how to survive their glorious team-up!

    Short Stories

But we do have some of an idea, at least, like a pinching our two fingers slightly together semblance. Why not mosaic their lyrics together to create a short story? Whether it’s stealing a line from one of their verses to match something else hidden in the latter or playing with the themes of their songs. We’ll string together a stanza-filled short story from two of them. Then, since we’re already manifesting a duet, we’ll extend the idea of fleshing the short story into an entire mashup they can perform in Europe.

“I got vacation eyes / But I keep on runnin’ through these red flags.”

As stated, the Jonas Brothers claimed red as their favorite color in the early 2000s (not to be confused with taking a trip to another year one gets upon adding an extra thousand), but it’s also Mimi’s! If we were to look into her ‘Vacation Eyes,’ we’d probably see a collective string of ‘Red Flags.’ What’d be interesting about this mashup is that it delves into the relationship scarries we have around love bombing, the elusive honeymoon phase before we discover that they’re a narcissist. We’re quick to say “bye-bye.”

“I’m slippin’ into the lava / And I’ma try to keep from goin under / If somеbody goes and calls the brigade / I’ll alrеady be too far away.”

One has the classic hip-swaying drum riff amid ‘Burnin’ Up’ for their crush, while the other uses the same fire element to turn their cheating ex’s ‘House On Fire.’ So, if we had to bet on the ideal mashup, we’re looking at these two respective hits! Then, notably, Mimi’s adlibs are added to classic lines like “You’re cold” for Joe’s “I’m hot” to showcase that there might still be some hidden feelings in a toxic cyclone. And it’s bound to be a crowd-pleaser.

“Cold feet turned into cold weather / We had love, now it don’t matter / But every time the lights go out / I see you there when you’re not around.”

Isn’t it funny to think that the Jonas Brothers literally sat as a poltergeist on our shoulders at one point? They continued to remind us that they had all split up and we would never have them in the same room performing again. Yeah, that didn’t age well! And we’re glad it didn’t. Because if it had, we wouldn’t have gotten Happiness Begins. It’s obviously where our own joy skyrocketed because it meant looping ‘Used To Be’ for hours. Then Mimi threw on a baby blue, feathery frock and stood on an elegant balcony. And we realized even more that the ‘Ghost Of You,’ whether ex-loves, friends, or even fill in relative terms here __ were better left in the past!

The Jonas Brothers may be late to the party (the Europe leg of the tour was initially slated for May), but they’ll never forget the scratching vocals centered around “Red dress.” Every prolonged ‘s’ riffing between Joe and Nick marks a celebration of the venues being decked in nostalgic merch tees, copycat looks from iconic callbacks, and dresses dipped in all shades of maroon. As stated by Live Nation in the banner below, the Europe leg will kick off in Manchester next Thursday. It’ll wrap up in London on the 17th. Already have your fingers wrapped around a ticket? Shout at us on our social media, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, over which show you’re going to. Then, play the game of match by finding someone else with the same ticket type you have.

Pop Kings The Jonas Brothers Set New Attendance Record at RodeoHouston

    Jonas Brothers
    RodeoHouston

    March 15, 2024

Despite being a lifelong, unapologetic fan of boy bands, I completely missed the boat on the Jonas Brothers.

I cut my teeth on the New Kids on the Block cartoon, spent my prime tween years obsessing over the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC (and every one of their knockoffs), and today average about a dozen K-pop concerts a year. But the Jonas Brothers remain a pretty big gap in my boy band knowledge. Real talk: Prior to the announcement of their return to RodeoHouston back in January, I couldn’t have named a JoBros song if a million dollars was on the line.

Still, this is a show for me, and I want to acknowledge that.

The Jonas Brothers – Kevin, Joe and Nick – were here back in October, playing the Toyota Center as part of their “Five Albums One Night” world tour. They’re still in the midst of that tour, in which they play music from, well, five albums over three hours. An hour-ish set on the RodeoHouston stage doesn’t really allow for that kind of depth, but the brothers did play, as they put it, “the highlights.” And it was still career-spanning, from their Disney Channel roots and across their five Billboard-charting albums.

Cowboy hats on, the Jonas Brothers jumped right into their set with the high-energy “Celebrate!” The horns blared on this funk-infused throwback written for their 2023 album titled, simply, The Album. The stage was a full house, and joy seemed to spill out from every band member, backup singer and, of course, Jonas brother. Despite being, as the brothers mentioned later, seven or eight months into a tour, everything on stage seemed loose and fun, and it was an infectious feeling.

After a nod to the last time they played RodeoHouston back in 2009 (and a “Can I get a yeehaw?”), the trio played two more incredibly catchy songs released after 2020: “What A Man Gotta Do” and “Waffle House.” After, we took a trip back to 2007 and “S.O.S.” – the band’s first Top 20 hit – to see “how many OG Jonas Brothers fans we have in the house.” A lot, judging by the high-pitched but full-of-love screams that greeted the song.

For the briefest of moments, I was hit by how odd it was to see such an outpouring of nostalgia for something so recent before remembering that 2007 was, in fact, almost 20 years ago. Yikes. Luckily, the band quickly launched into “Cool,” another more recent tune with an addictive hook perfect for distracting me from any intrusive thoughts.

“Many years ago, we were in a movie or two…” led into the Camp Rock portion of the evening, a medley of songs from the Disney Channel musicals including Joe’s “Gotta Find You” from the first film and Nick’s “Introducing Me” from the second. The campfire singalong atmosphere was short-lived, but sweet, as then they moved on to “Play My Music.”

The cell phone flashlights came out for the next song, a ballad called “When You Look Me in the Eyes,” before the crowd got busy jumping for “Year 3000,” a cover of a 2003 Busted song that scored them their first charting song, and Top 40 hit, back in 2007.

A pulsating, feel-in-your-bones beat kicked off Nick’s song “Jealous,” from his second solo album, and from my seat, it was the first time all night I actually got to hear him with any clarity. Earlier in the evening, it was hard to catch a lot of his lyrics, which was a shame. Keeping the solo, side projects going was “Cake by the Ocean,” Joe’s 2015 hit with DNCE. Guitarist JinJoo Lee delivered a hell of a guitar solo on the song, falling to her knees at one point, and her skill was much appreciated by the crowd.

The set’s “something special” turned out to be a cover of Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places,” a pretty faithful take on the song, particularly with Joe’s Brooks-matching vocals.

The 2008 song “Lovebug” was then met with a wave of cheers, followed by an equally hyped reaction for “Burnin’ Up.” Joe proclaimed, “We’re not done yet,” as they band went into three final bangers: “Only Human,” “Sucker” and “Leave Before You Love Me,” their 2021 hit song with Marshmello.

The party-like atmosphere wound down, leaving only the memory of a tight, non-stop set that was full of fun even for a non-fan. The Jonas Brothers are immensely talented, and I may not wear the extra rosy-colored glasses of nostalgia when it comes to the trio, but I can say that their more recent music is the stuff of pure, wonderful pop, the kind of songs that made me wish I could join in and sing along with the fans around me. The fans were great, every single word sung, estrogen-tinged and off-key, just the way it’s supposed to be.

Miscellaneous Notes: Concerns about the bad weather proved to be totally unfounded as it turns out the Jonas Brothers set a new all-time record for paid attendance at 75,600. Despite mentioning cowboy hats, I’m almost certain a cowboy hat never graced the head of Kevin Jonas. And, from a distance, Joe Jonas looked a bit like he was on his way to join the Pink Ladies.

Overheard in the Crowd: “Joe Jonas always looked like a man to me.”

Overheard in the Crowd #2: “Did you know that there are three Jonas Brothers?”

Rain and hail pummel NRG Park sending rodeo-goers scrambling

HOUSTON – Severe weather in the Houston area caused the rodeo to shut down temporarily, but many of the amenities are back up and running as rodeo fans brave the storms.

The outdoor carnival stopped operations for a short while, but most of the smaller rides and attractions have resumed action since the weather has passed.

Even with the happy ending, it was a wild scene just a short time ago. As is the case with many storms, the rain and thunder hit the rodeo out of nowhere. Attendees went from cautiously enjoying the festivities to scrambling inside for coverage in mere minutes.

Amanda and Bianca, two rodeo attendees from Spring, were among a crowd of people that clambered underneath a tent when rain and hail began flooding the area.

“It was crazy,” one of the two said. “We were all huddled under this tent, and we were all just kind of close together and leaning on each other. The hail was actually hitting us through the tents. It was insane.”

Despite the harsh conditions, the two are still pumped to see the Jonas Brothers tonight, and they should be! The concert will likely not be impacted by the storms, as it will take place indoors at NRG Stadium.

Jonas Brothers Make Tree-House Pact To Divorce Mean Wives And Marry Each Other

LOS ANGELES—Spitting into their palms to cement the deal, Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas reportedly made a tree-house pact Friday to divorce their mean wives and marry each other. “Everything was so much better when it was just us Jonas boys, and that’s how it should always be,” said newly separated Joe Jonas, slipping a Funyun onto his brother Nick’s ring finger and whispering, “Brother, you’re my wife now.” “We don’t need any gross, mean girls making everything complicated—we’ll just live in our cool tree fort forever and ever and have mom bring us snacks. What else could we need? It’s settled, I’m officially sending Sophie’s lawyer this sign that says ‘NO GIRLS ALLOWED.’ Well, except Mom, but she has to know the code word to enter. Now let’s practice kissing like we used to.” At press time, Kevin was seen sobbing and threatening to tattle to their mother after neither of his brothers wanted to marry him.

Joe Jonas files for divorce from actress Sophie Turner

After just over four years of marriage, musician Joe Jonas has filed for divorce from actress Sophie Turner, according to court documents obtained by CBS News.

The lead singer of the popular group Jonas Brothers on Tuesday petitioned for a dismissal of marriage from the “Game of Thrones” star in Miami Dade County court.

The divorce filing also lists the couple’s two daughters.

CBS News has reached out to representatives for comment, but did not immediately hear back.

The couple began dating in 2016 and became engaged in 2017.

They married in 2019, first in Las Vegas, in a ceremony led by an Elvis Presley impersonator, followed by a more lavish affair at a chateau in France months later.

  • So How Exactly Are the Jonas Brothers Going to Play 5 Albums Every Night?

So How Exactly Are the Jonas Brothers Going to Play 5 Albums Every Night?

Nearly two decades into their careers, Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas are embarking on the most ambitious Jonas Brothers tour yet, and over the weekend they kicked it off with two sold-out shows at Yankee Stadium. The band, fronted by the brothers and rounded out by an ecosystem of collaborators and touring musicians, was joined by a few special guests, including Jimmy Fallon, who led the crowd in a rendition of The Killers’ “Mr. Brightside” during the intermission of Sunday’s show.

The tour is coming off the group’s newest release, The Album, a collection of songs playfully referencing ’70s and ’80s music and cowritten and produced by Jon Bellion. But with an eye toward the band’s deep fan base, every night’s show will also include nearly all the songs from its four most loved albums, starting from 2007’s Jonas Brothers. Ever since the band’s 2019 reunion, Jonas Brothers shows have included the group’s biggest hits from the Disney Channel days. But earlier this year, during a five-night run of Broadway shows, the musicians discovered a new appreciation for the deep cuts, which sound even more timeless now that pop punk is a lingua franca uniting artists in rock, rap, and country. The brothers, now in their 30s, were teenagers when they wrote their early albums, but with time, it’s become clear that the Jonas Brothers helped shape a generation with their brand of hook-focused power pop featuring catchy guitar riffs and sly asides.

“The show is really something special,” Kevin told Vanity Fair in a recent interview. “It’s a journey through our lives so far, you know? It’s cool to see people that know all of our music and fans that are on the newer side experience all this, this journey of our lives together.”

Before the weekend, the brothers sat down to explain the logic behind taking a trip down memory lane and revisiting five albums in one night. As Kevin himself noted on Twitter earlier this summer, it’s so many songs. If you add in all the other must-plays, it’s about 67. But they’ve managed to get it down to about three hours, and it’s a show that’s engaging for hardcore and casual fans alike.

This interview has been edited and condensed for clarity.

Vanity Fair: You’re fitting so much music into one night. Were you thinking about doing it chronologically, Taylor Swift Eras-style? Or a bit more like what Beyoncé is doing with Renaissance, blending new and old thematically?

Joe Jonas: It’s a blend of all of those things. We know that we’re going to have a lot of newer fans coming to the show, as well as the OG fans who know the earlier albums. So we have the new album spaced throughout the set. We also have a lot of songs that were not necessarily part of albums—singles or songs from our individual projects—so we have a lot to play with. We wanted to build a really theatrical show that takes you on a musical, emotional journey if you’re a fan or not. We wanted to create a space where you’re just happy to be there, almost like the DJs up there mixing songs together. There’s a lot of medleys, because we can’t fit all of every song. What was the word we came up with for them?
