How Long Is Paw Patrol Live? Answered | The Mary Sue

    [ad_1]

Paw Patrol Live is currently on tour, and if you’re a parent, you may be wondering how long you’ll be expected to sit through it.

Paw Patrol Live, a stage show featuring puppet versions of the dogs from the animated series Paw Patrol, is currently touring several cities in the southern U.S. and British Columbia. According to the show’s website, there are three separate shows currently playing in Minnesota, Florida, Alabama, Missouri, Mississippi, Georgia, and British Columbia.

The first show is called “Heroes Unite.” Here’s a description from the website:

Calling all good citizens! The PAW Patrol is yelping for help as they face their greatest challenge yet. Mayor Humdinger has dognapped Robo Dog and cloned him, causing chaos all over the world. It’s up to the pups to catch those clones, rescue Robo Dog and show that when the going gets “ruff,” lending a paw makes you the ultimate TOP HERO!

The second show on offer is “The Great Pirate Adventure”:

It’s Pirate Day in Adventure Bay, and Mayor Goodway is getting ready for a big celebration! But first, Ryder and his team of pirate pups must rescue Cap’n Turbot from a mysterious cavern. When they do, they also discover a secret pirate treasure map! The PAW Patrol set out over land and sea to find the treasure for Mayor Goodway’s celebration before Mayor Humdinger finds it first! The pups will need all paws on deck for this pirate adventure, including some help from the newest pup … Tracker!

Finally, the third show currently playing is “Race to the Rescue.”

It’s the day of the Great Adventure Bay Race between Adventure Bay’s Mayor Goodway and Foggy Bottom’s Mayor Humdinger, but Mayor Goodway is nowhere to be found. PAW Patrol Race to the Rescue! Ryder summons Marshall, Chase, Skye, Rubble, Rocky, Zuma and Everest to rescue Mayor Goodway and to run the race in her place.

Although the official website doesn’t give the runtime for each show, Undercover Tourist reports that “Heroes Unite” is about 90 minutes long. Parents can assume that the other two shows are more or less the same length.

For more information, see the Paw Patrol Live official website or Undercover Tourist.

  • What Happened to The Ghoul’s Daughter in ‘Fallout’?

What Happened to The Ghoul’s Daughter in ‘Fallout’?

    [ad_1]

In the world of Fallout, nothing is more important than family.

Plucky heroine Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) leaves the safety of Vault 33 to find her kidnapped father Hank (Kyle MacLachlan). Maximus (Aaron Moten) is devoted to his found family, the Brotherhood of Steel. And Cooper Howard a.k.a. The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) has wandered the wasteland for centuries in search of his long-lost family.

Before he became the noseless gunslinger we know and love, The Ghoul was Hollywood star Cooper Howard, known for playing heroic cowboys in Western films. Howard was a devoted husband to his wife Barb (Frances Turner), a Vault-Tec executive, and a loving father to their daughter Janey (Teagan Meredith).

Barb recruits Cooper to be the spokesman for Vault-Tec and assures him that she’s reserved their family spots in the “management” vaults. But after he’s confronted by Moldaver (a.k.a. Ms. Williams), he realizes that something nefarious is happening at Vault-Tec. After planting a bug in his wife, Cooper overhears Vault-Tec execs in a meeting with other CEOs. Cooper listens as his wife lays out their grim plan: Vault-Tec will drop the bombs themselves, ending the world to rebuild it in their image.

After discovering his wife’s betrayal, Cooper and Barb (presumably) got divorced and Cooper started working as an entertainer at children’s birthday parties. Cooper and Janey are working a party gig when the first bombs drop in 2077, and when we meet Cooper 200 years later he’s become The Ghoul. But what happened during those lost years?

The last we see is Cooper and Janey riding away from the nuclear fallout. Did Janey and Barb make it into a vault? Cooper certainly seems to think so, as we learn in the season one finale that he is still searching for his family. Did Barb and Janey enter cryostasis like Hank and Betty? Are either of them still alive? We’ll have to wait until season two to find out.

  • When To Expect the Premiere of ‘Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three’

When To Expect the Premiere of ‘Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three’

    [ad_1]

Viewers who have been enjoying the animated adaptation of DC Comics’ storyline Crisis on Infinite Earths are anxious to know when Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three will arrive.

Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part One was released on January 9, marking the eighth installment in DC’s Tomorrowverse. Over the years, DC has built up quite a collection of animated films, which comprise multiple universes and continuities. The Tomorrorverse is one of the newest continuities, as it is the successor to the old DC Animated Universe (DCAMU). The new universe was established in 2020 with Superman: Man of the Tomorrow. Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths was quite an exciting addition to the shared universe as it marked a major crossover event, with Monitor (Jonathan Adams) recruiting heroes across the multiverse to combat a major threat.

The sequel, Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Two, premiered on April 23, 2024. It follows the heroes as they begin to question Monitor’s past and are confronted by an extremely powerful army of shadow demons. Now, viewers are awaiting the final part of the major crossover film.

When does Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three come out?

    (Warner Bros.)

Unfortunately, Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three does not yet have an official release date. However, it is confirmed it will be released sometime in 2024. There was a gap of about three months between the first two films. If the latest film follows the pattern of the previous two, it could arrive as early as August 2024.

In addition to concluding the multiversal adventure, there are a few other reasons the movie is so important to fans. Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three includes the final performance of Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman. Conroy first voiced Batman in Batman: The Animated Series in 1992 and would reprise the role dozens of times throughout his career, bringing the Caped Crusader to life across multiple DC universes. He recorded his part for Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three before his passing in 2022, and the movie’s release is likely to serve as a touching tribute to the legendary voice actor.

Additionally, the film will also include Mark Hamill’s final performance as The Joker. Hamill has been voicing the Joker since 1992 and has come to be considered as one of the character’s best actors. However, he recently announced he was retiring from the role. As such, Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three will close out the careers of two iconic figures in DC’s animated world, as well as wrap up the latest animated crossover event. Fortunately, viewers can rest assured that the movie should be arriving in just a few months.

  • ‘Bridgerton’ Season 3 Will Introduce a Tragic Love Interest

‘Bridgerton’ Season 3 Will Introduce a Tragic Love Interest

    [ad_1]

Bridgerton season 3 is on its way, and fans of the Regency-era romance series have already heard about a casting shakeup. With a new actress playing Francesca Bridgerton—and some photos that have leaked from the set—could we meet a little-known character named John Stirling in season 3?

Warning: this article contains spoilers for Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton novels.

Bridgerton season 3 will focus on the love story between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). In the season 3 trailer, we see Penelope striking out on her own, adopting a new wardrobe and deciding to find a husband. However, her love for Colin hasn’t diminished, and the season will see Colin finally starting to give Penelope the attention she’s deserved for so long.

But, as always, there won’t be just one love story in Bridgerton season 3. Rumor has it that Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) may get the beginning of his own love story, and Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie) took her first steps towards romance in season 2.

Plus, Francesca Bridgerton, one of the younger Bridgerton siblings, was recast for season 3 when previous actor Ruby Stokes had to bow out because of scheduling conflicts. Hannah Dodd stepped in to portray the adolescent sibling. In Julia Quinn’s original book series, Francesca gets her romance in book 6, When He Was Wicked. However, the Netflix series is going slightly out of order—for instance, Penelope’s love story doesn’t take place until book 4, Romancing Mr. Bridgerton—so it’s possible that Francesca’s story will occur sooner than a possible season 6.

So who exactly is John Stirling? Unfortunately, in the long run, he ends up being a somewhat minor character. In the books, John, who is also the Earl of Kilmartin, is Francesca’s first husband. However, John dies soon after the marriage, after a mysterious headache that Regency-era medicine can’t diagnose or treat.

John may be introduced in season 3. Actor Victor Alli was reportedly spotted in costume last year, walking with Dodd on the set of Bridgerton. However, at present, Alli’s involvement in the show is just a rumor.

  • ‘My Hero Academia’ Season 7 Episode 2 Will Show Us Shigaraki’s Monstrous Growth

‘My Hero Academia’ Season 7 Episode 2 Will Show Us Shigaraki’s Monstrous Growth

    [ad_1]

My Hero Academia’s heroes got kicked around in the previous season. Scores of heroes were severely injured and killed in the clash against the Paranormal Liberation Front. Shigaraki’s body was taken by All for One, leaving the heroes with no time to recover.

The only way to make things bearable is to ask for help from overseas. Luckily for Japan, the USA’s No. 1 Hero, Star and Stripe, is more than willing to help. All Might asked, and she came to Japan standing on top of her fleet of fighter jets. Cool intro aside, this doesn’t mean that we have nothing left to worry about. Shigaraki is currently at his strongest, and even Star and Stripe had difficulty beating him up.

Will she successfully crush him in the second episode of My Hero Academia’s seventh season? I have the answer, but it’s better if you watch it for yourself on May 11, 2024, on Crunchyroll.

Tomura Shigaraki’s quirk, Decay, was already overpowered. But with All For One now in his body, Shigaraki has an infinite quirk glitch. With an arsenal of quirks at his disposal, fighting Shigaraki head-on would no doubt be fatal. It would be easy to see why Shigaraki couldn’t be defeated without immense effort.

Ultimately, Shigaraki had been planning the demise of the society that rejected him. This includes the heroes, who stand as pillars of that same society. If you can’t stand seeing him win, get used to it, because this is just the start of his revenge.

You can catch up with all the action on My Hero Academia on Crunchyroll.

  • Edwina Sharma Is a Sweet Summer Child in ‘Bridgerton’

Edwina Sharma Is a Sweet Summer Child in ‘Bridgerton’

    [ad_1]

Bridgerton season 2 focuses on one of the show’s sweetest characters: Miss Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran). But how old is Edwina?

In season 2, Edwina finds herself embroiled in a love triangle. She arrives in the Ton with her sister Kate (Simone Ashley) and her mother, Lady Mary Sharma (Shelley Conn), in the hopes of finding a husband.

Thanks to her charm and beauty, Edwina has no trouble at all landing a catch: Anthony Bridgerton. Despite Kate’s objections, Anthony proposes to Edwina, and the two prepare to marry.

However, at the altar, Edwina finds out something earth-shattering: Anthony and Kate are in love. Edwina runs away from the altar, and the wedding is called off.

    How old is Edwina?

If Edwina seems a bit naive for not realizing that her sister and her fiancé are in love, you can surely forgive her—after all, she’s very young.

In Julia Quinn’s original Bridgerton novels, which the Netflix series is based on, Edwina is only 17 years old. The Netflix series never explicitly states her age, but given that Regency-era debutantes tended to be 17 or 18 years old, we can assume that Edwina’s age is true to the books.

But how does Edwina’s story end?

Edwina is saved by the Queen

In the end, Queen Charlotte saves the day, preserving not just Edwina’s reputation, but her marriage prospects.

After the wedding is called off, Queen Charlotte announces that it was her own idea to cancel it. That announcement dispels the scandal surrounding Anthony and Kate’s love, and makes Edwina a marriageable debutante again.

But that’s not all. Queen Charlotte also offers Edwina another possibility for marriage. She says she wants to introduce Edwina to a certain prince who’s looking for a wife. This prince, of course, is Charlotte’s grandnephew Prince Frederick of Prussia, who courted Daphne in season 1.

That’s right! Edwina might become a princess! We don’t find out what happens at the end of season 2—and I should note that the Netflix series diverges from the books in suggesting that Edwina might marry Frederick—but if she does marry him, it’ll be a fitting happy ending for a character who has a heart of gold.

Will Edwina drop in to visit in future Bridgerton episodes? Maybe. We may find out when the first half of season 3 drops on May 16.

  • Why Is ‘Queen of Tears’ Coming Back With Bonus Episodes After an Already Perfect Ending?

Why Is ‘Queen of Tears’ Coming Back With Bonus Episodes After an Already Perfect Ending?

    [ad_1]

The worst is over, and we’ve gotten the happy ending we never thought we’d get in Queen of Tears. We’ve been met with every possible trope under the sun, but our doomed couple lived to have a happy ending.

But if there’s already a happy ending out there, why is there a need for two special episodes? Queen of Tears was so good that it recently dethroned Crash Landing on You as the highest-rated K-drama in tvN history. Simply put, there’s nothing to fix, but that doesn’t mean we’ll refuse the extra episodes.

The Queen of Tears extra episodes will come to the local cable channel, tvN, on May 4 and 5, 2024. It’s unclear if Netflix will be showing these two extra episodes on the same dates.

Some viewers have criticized the drama for being too fast-paced. But most just want to see Hae-in and Hyun-woo have a happy episode with their newborn daughter, Soo-bin. They were able to overcome the worst, but an epilogue feels short-lived for a couple that had to go through hell and back to save their relationship.

All fifteen episodes that came before the last were mired in tragedies. Hyun-woo and Hae-in’s fights, the betrayals against the Hong family, and seeing our favorite side characters in tears all painfully live up to this K-drama’s name. Two more episodes might give us relief and additional closure to move on from Queen of Tears.

  • Is There A So I’m A Spider So What Season 2 Release Date?

Is There A So I’m A Spider So What Season 2 Release Date?

    [ad_1]

So I’m A Spider, So What? is the show all spider-kind needs. Rather than human beings with spider powers, we need more spider-focused stories. Otherwise, how else will spiders earn the love and respect they deserve? Our eight-legged friends get a bad rap. They kill all sorts of unwanted pests like flies, mosquitoes, and ticks. Dangerous and gross bugs are no match for these arachnid paragons of health and cleanliness. Do you see the various Spidermen and women doing that? Me neither.

What is So I’m A Spider, So What? about?

So I’m A Spider is about a young woman who doesn’t just gain spider powers by being bitten by a radioactive spider or whatever (boring). She BECOMES A WHOLE SPIDER. After being killed by a mysterious explosion, this young woman wakes up in a fantasy world where she is reincarnated as a low-level (but adorable) dungeon spider. She has to adjust to her new fantasy world! And unlike these other fantasy shows where characters get reincarnated as whack slimes or gross goblins, she gets reincarnated as a REAL critter that deserves representation.

Does So I’m A Spider, So What? have a release date?

As of now, no. So I’m A Spider, So What? has no such release date. You know how these things go. Unless an anime series is monumentally successful (like the JJKs and Demon Slayers of the world) it’s going to take some time for the series to release a second season. And that’s if it comes back at all. BUT KEEP YOUR HOPES UP. There could be an announcement soon. After all, the show hasn’t been officially renewed, but it hasn’t been canceled either. If only we could talk to the mystical spiders that spin the web of fate and convince them to give the show another season. After all, spiders gotta look out for spiders. That’s just good spidey sense.

  • Just How Many ‘Planet Of The Apes’ Films Are There, Anyway?

Just How Many ‘Planet Of The Apes’ Films Are There, Anyway?

    [ad_1]

These days, it’s all too easy to bemoan Hollywood’s obsession with reboots and remakes, especially when Jurassic World and Ghostbusters have entered that equation the way they have.

And yet, 13 years ago, Rise of the Planet of the Apes stumbled thunderously into the fold, conclusively reminding us there’s nothing inherently wrong with reboots. If they improve on the original, they may even be preferable.

Indeed, since Franklin J. Schaffner first helmed that 1968 adaptation of Pierre Boulle’s novel, Apes remains a beloved science fiction franchise. 2011’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes ushered in the latest era of one of the most deftly intelligent sci-fi franchises to ever grace the big screen.

Speaking of which, between books, comics, television, and even video games, most would still probably say that the franchise seems most at home in the realm of feature films, and history certainly appears to be on the side of such a claim.

How many Planet of the Apes movies are there?

    (20th Century Studios)

Counting Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, which premieres next month, there are 10 total films set in the varying canons of Planet of the Apes.

Things kicked off with the original Planet of the Apes movie back in 1968; that film would go on to spawn four sequels, Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970), Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971), Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972), and Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973).

Tim Burton then proceeded to do Tim Burton things with a 2001 reboot starring Mark Wahlberg. The film received poor reviews and was regarded as a low point for the director. Despite a strong box office performance, Fox declined to make a sequel.

And then, along came Caesar in 2011. A spec script from Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver proved to be the triumphant spark the franchise needed to remind us all that this is still Apes‘ world, and we’re just living in it. Rise would eventually be followed by Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes premieres on May 10, 2024, exclusively in theaters.

  • I’m Ready for More Shonen Anime References in ‘Ninja Kamui’ Episode 12

I’m Ready for More Shonen Anime References in ‘Ninja Kamui’ Episode 12

    [ad_1]

A clash between Zai and Higan was inevitable in Ninja Kamui, but what we didn’t expect was for Zai to secretly be exactly like Zenitsu from Demon Slayer. Zai is no coward, but tell me he’s not Zenitsu when his secret art is also named “thunderclap.”

The cherry on top is that Zai can launch attacks at lightning speed the same way Zenitsu does with his signature seventh form of thunderbreathing: thunderclap. If you think Demon Slayer is the only reference here, Higan also unleashed his secret art. I was half expecting him to scream either “domain expansion” from Jujutsu Kaisen or “bankai” from Bleach—he didn’t, but the effects were the same. Higan’s secret art, “serenity,” fine-tunes the body’s senses and enhances physical strength.

So we’ve watched 11 episodes of Ninja Kamui and caught not one but three other anime references in a single fight scene. What’s next? Is Yamaji doing a shadow clone jutsu? Who knows, but we’ll be able to watch Ninja Kamui episode 12 on April 28, 2024, on Adult Swim in the U.S. and Channel 4 in the U.K.

Humor aside, the last episode of Ninja Kamui was a little surprising. Yamaji and AUZA have both turned against each other and are battling it out for world dominance. Only one will be left standing. But, just as Joseph (evil tech CEO) was about to perish, his bodyguard Dilly chose to protect him. Something is going on between the two of them, but it’s one of the few times we see Joseph care about another person beyond himself and his plans to rule the world.

It’s almost endearing if you try to forget AUZA’s corruption. But if there’s one thing we can take away from all of this, it’s that more ninjas might defect from Yamaji in pursuit of their own principles.

  • ‘X-Men ’97’ Just Gave Us a Look at the Deadliest Anti-Mutant Task Force Yet

‘X-Men ’97’ Just Gave Us a Look at the Deadliest Anti-Mutant Task Force Yet

    [ad_1]

They’ve faced down Mojo, Mister Sinister, X-Cutioner, a Master Mold, and the Adversary, but the challenge that lies ahead for the X-Men in X-Men ’97 is one they could have never prepared for enough.

Pulling the strings this whole time was the android villain Bastion. His orchestration of the attack on Genosha was merely the beginning of his grotesquely evil Operation: Zero Tolerance, which boasts no other end goal than death to mutantkind.

A dictator, of course, is nothing without his soldiers, and in the case of Bastion, he’s set to have some of the most deadly in the Prime Sentinels: a strike force of uncanny-looking robots who make ordinary Sentinels seem about as threatening as a pigeon.

So, what’s the deal with these elite cronies anyhow?

    What are Prime Sentinels?

Prime Sentinels are a group of new Sentinels developed by Bastion. These Sentinels are humans who have been fitted with special nanotechnology that, upon activation by the Operation: Zero Tolerance program, takes over their sleeper agent host and transforms them into a deadly robot warrior designed for combat and mutant apprehension/extermination. These Sentinels are many times more powerful than regular Sentinels, with far more durability, strength, and agility, and boasting extra abilities such as projecting laser blasts.

Bolivar Trask is the first and only Prime Sentinel we’ve seen as of episode seven, with his programming activating after Rogue dropped him to his death. Despite the combined efforts of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Morph, and Beast, the Prime Sentinel single-handedly had them all on the ropes until Cable interfered, incapacitating Trask with a special electromagnetic grenade.

It’s going to take a lot more than Cable’s loadout foresight to dampen the threat posed by Bastion and his Prime Sentinels, however, and the future of mutantkind hangs in the balance as the X-Men plan their most unprecedented plan of attack yet.

  • I Hope You Have Enough Primogems, Because Arlecchino from ‘Genshin Impact’ Is Almost Here

I Hope You Have Enough Primogems, Because Arlecchino from ‘Genshin Impact’ Is Almost Here

    [ad_1]

I couldn’t be the only one who fell in love with Arlecchino from Genshin Impact when she first appeared in A Winter Night’s Lazzo in 2023. Now that she’s almost here, I fear for the safety of my primogems.

If you need a new pyro DPS with a cool scythe, Arlecchino should be a good investment based on her gameplay from the Version 4.6 special program alone. Arlecchino’s banner will be available in the first phase of Version 4.6 of Genshin Impact from April 24, 2024, to May 14, 2024.

Lyney’s banner will also rerun in the first phase, which makes it tough for anybody who wants this father-son duo. Not that they’ll ever work in an actual team composition together, but that’s beside the point. May the gacha gods bless you with primogems.

Arlecchino Having the Best Genshin Impact Animatic Ever

For anybody caught up with the Archon Quest in Fontaine, then you’ve already seen Arlecchino’s involvement in the story. She may have different interests, which we’re about to explore in Version 4.6, but she and the House of the Hearth were essential in providing aid to the people of Fontaine swept by the great flood.

She’s also one of the first people we’ve seen confront Furina about her lack of a plan to save her people. It’s never good to try to assassinate your leaders, but nobody holds them accountable like Arlecchino has. But she is still a Harbinger, and so all she’s done so far couldn’t have been for charity.

  • When To Expect the Live-Action ‘One Piece’ Season 2 on Netflix

When To Expect the Live-Action ‘One Piece’ Season 2 on Netflix

    [ad_1]

Netflix’s live-action One Piece proved to be a major hit for the streamer, and now long-time fans and newcomers to the franchise are starting to wonder when season 2 will arrive.

The series marked the first live-action adaptation of the long-running anime and manga series of the same name, created by Eiichiro Oda. Given how beloved One Piece and its characters have become over several decades and Netflix’s mixed history with anime adaptation, many were skeptical of the remake. However, despite some changes from the anime, the series was a charming and faithful take on the beloved franchise.

One Piece season 1 follows the origins of the Straw Hat Pirates, as Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) slowly gathers a full-fledged crew to join him on his mission to find the legendary One Piece treasure and become King of the Pirates. By the end of the season, though, the story is nowhere near being over. Season 1 only adapts about 95 of the published One Piece manga chapters. It may sound like a lot, but considering there are over 1,000 chapters (and counting), Netflix’s One Piece has a lot of ground to cover, including countless arcs and characters that fans can’t wait to see adapted.

Does One Piece season 2 have a release date?

    (image: Netflix)

Unfortunately, One Piece season 2 doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet. However, the season is definitely coming, as Netflix gave it the greenlight just two weeks after season 1 premiered. Given that it was renewed during the SAG-AFTRA strike, production wasn’t able to begin immediately. The scripts have reportedly been completed since September 2023, though. Hence, since the strike was resolved, viewers have been curious about when the season will start filming.

According to Zoro actor Mackenyu, production will commence soon. While attending the world championship for the One Piece Trading Card Game, Mackenyu revealed he won’t be able to participate in TCG games in June because he will be off in South Africa filming the second season. If it follows the pattern of season 1, which was in production for eight months, filming for season 2 could wrap by early 2025. Then, it will just be a matter of how quickly post-production goes and how Netflix chooses to schedule it among its other big 2025 releases, such as Stranger Things and Ginny & Georgia.

At the earliest, One Piece could possibly arrive in the summer of 2025. However, a fall release date sounds more reasonable. Ultimately, fans will have to wait for official confirmation from Netflix about One Piece season 2’s release, but further updates should be forthcoming as filming is allegedly due to start soon.

The Legend of Korra ushered in a new era of Avatar: The Last Airbender, yet so many characters we’d grown to love during the original series were long gone. Despite their absence, we’re still dying to know what happened to Suki.

If you’ve forgotten about Suki, why? How? Okay fine, we know how since we couldn’t see her during The Legend of Korra. Nevertheless, the Kyoshi Warriors became an important part of history and were mentioned in the latest series. As non-benders, the Kyoshi Warriors practiced chi-blocking, which became an important part of self-defense for non-benders everywhere.

After her stint at Zuko’s bodyguard, Suki would go on to teach civilians about chi-blocking. If Suki was still alive during the timeline of The Legend of Korra, then it’s more than likely that she would have ended up on Kyoshi Island.

Do Suki and Sokka End Up Together?

Most diehard fans believe that Suki and Sokka’s relationship did not progress after the events of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Sokka didn’t have any family of his own, and there were no mentions of Suki remaining a part of his life. If there were any mentions of Suki, it would be in remembrance of their achievements together during the war.

Maybe this is a lucky turn of events for Suki. At least she didn’t turn into a celestial body like one of Sokka’s exes. While Suki’s ending is unknown, the upcoming Avatar: The Last Airbender movie might give us a better hint of her whereabouts.

Interested in the ‘Parasyte: The Grey’ Dub? Here’s the English Cast

    [ad_1]

Parasyte: The Grey has hit Netflix! If you wondering whether to watch it in Korean or English, you’re in luck: Netflix is offering the series in both languages. If you want to give the English version a try, here’s the cast of the English dub.

Parasyte: The Grey is based on the classic manga by Hitoshi Iwaaki, in which alien parasites invade Earth. Like the original story, Parasyte: The Grey focuses on one parasite victim who develops an unusual relationship with their visitor.

In the Netflix version, directed by Yeon Sang-ho (Train to Busan, Hellbound), a young woman named Jeong Su-In is infected with a parasite. However, because she’s recovering from an injury, the parasite is unable to take over her brain, and Su-in forms an almost symbiotic relationship with the alien. Meanwhile, parasites are taking over other people, and an organization called the Grey rises to power to try and stop the invasion.

Like the manga, Parasyte: The Grey is a work of science fiction body horror. When someone is infected with a parasite, they gain the ability to contort their bodies into tentacles and other appendages.

To switch the language options in Parasyte, go to the menu item that looks like a speech bubble while an episode is playing. Then you can toggle between the original Korean cast, or the English dub.

  • Henry Cavill’s New War Movie Promises Blood, Guts, and Guy Ritchie Antics Galore

Henry Cavill’s New War Movie Promises Blood, Guts, and Guy Ritchie Antics Galore

    [ad_1]

2024 is shaping up to be a big year for Henry Cavill, who starred in Matthew Vaughn’s (albeit, ill-fated) Argylle and will shoot his highly-anticipated Highlander reboot in July. Until then, however, the actor is setting his sights on the high seas in The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare.

Sometimes, true stories are simply too outlandish to believe. Such is the case with director Guy Ritchie’s upcoming spy-comedy based on Damien Lewis’ 2014 book, Churchill’s Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII. That title doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, now does it?

Starring Henry Cavill as Major Gus March-Phillipps, the film sees Cavill’s character (and his very curly mustache) leading a covert group of soldiers as they fight against Nazis during World War II, featuring all the witty humor, explosions, and high-stakes action sequences we’ve come to expect from a Guy Ritchie production. Alan Ritchson, Eiza González, Henry Golding, and Alex Pettyfer also star in the film.

The movie tackles the “untold” true story of Operation Postmaster, a mission executed by the British Special Operations Executive (SOE) under the command of Winston Churchill. The crew was ultimately successful in stealing Italian and German boats off the coast of West Africa, thus cementing the SOE’s reputation as a formidable espionage organization.

From the looks of it, The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare seems to be a completely original take on your typical World War II movie which, if executed well, could bring a much-needed revival to the genre. Still, box office analysts don’t exactly have high hopes for the film’s performance, with experts predicting an opening weekend range of $6 million to $10 million, given it will be competing against A24’s Civil War.

Although big names like Ritchie, Cavill, and Ritchson (Reacher fans are legion) might help usher moviegoers through the doors, April has been a loaded month for blockbusters. This could spell trouble as The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare gears up for its premiere.

When does The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare come out?

Fans can look forward to seeing Guy Ritchie’s World War II action flick soon, as The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare is scheduled to premiere in the U.S. on April 19, 2024. Although The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Amazon Prime Video secured distribution rights in Europe, Central and South America, Europe, and India last year, the movie has yet to receive a streaming release date.

It’ll be interesting to see how much of the true story Guy Ritchie chose to adapt to the big screen, and if he may or may not have taken a few creative liberties along the way. Regardless, one thing’s for sure: Henry Cavill is certainly adding fuel to all those James Bond casting rumors.

  • ‘Shogun’ Is Approaching the Endgame With Episode 9 on the Horizon

‘Shogun’ Is Approaching the Endgame With Episode 9 on the Horizon

    [ad_1]

Shogun, the epic historical series based on James Clavell’s novels, is nearing the end of its story. With things heating up for Toranaga and his followers, episode 9, “Crimson Sky,” is bound to change everything. But when is it hitting Hulu?

Shogun tells the story of Lord Yoshii Toranaga (Hiroyuki Sanada), a lord in feudal-era Japan who fights for the lives of himself and his vassals when a power vacuum leaves a hostile council in control of the country. Along with an English ship pilot named John Blackthorne (Cosmo Jarvis) and the guarded translator Lady Toda Mariko (Anna Sawai), Toranaga navigates the bloody struggles of the lords jockeying for p0wer.

    Crimson Sky approaches

Warning: this section contains spoilers for Shogun episode 8, “The Abyss of Life.”

At the end of episode 8, everything seems like it’s in shambles for Lord Toranaga. His son is dead, and at the end of his mourning period, he and his vassals will surrender to the council so that they can be executed. Blackthorne has finally found the remaining members of his crew, only to discover that they don’t trust him to get them back home. In one of the harrowing final scenes, Toranaga and the others watch as Hiromatsu, Toranaga’s closest friend, commits seppuku to protest Toranaga’s plan to give up.

However, when the episode ends, we find out that Toranaga has something much more complicated up his sleeve. He has intentionally engineered his vassals’ dissatisfaction in order to provoke Yabushige and Blackthorne into an alliance. Did Toranaga and Hiromatsu plan Hiromatsu’s death beforehand, or did Toranaga let Hiromatsu believe that he truly planned to give up without a fight? Either way, Crimson Sky—Toranaga’s plan to attack Osaka—is on.

When does episode 9 of Shogun come out?

You don’t have to wait too much longer to see what happens next in Shogun. Episode 9, “Crimson Sky,” comes out on Hulu on Tuesday, April 16.

After that, Shogun has just one episode left: episode 10, “A Dream of a Dream.” That episode will come out on April 23.

  • Don’t Worry, ‘Bluey’ Probably Isn’t Going Anywhere

Don’t Worry, ‘Bluey’ Probably Isn’t Going Anywhere

    [ad_1]

Apparently, there are rumors circulating that Bluey is leaving Disney+. Considering the constantly shifting licensing agreements between streamers, the seismic ending of “Ghostbasket,” and the upcoming Bluey special, it’s reasonable to wonder what’s going on with the show—but Bluey fans don’t have to worry quite yet.

Bluey follows the adventures of an exuberant young blue heeler. With her parents, Bandit and Chilli, along with her little sister Bingo and all her friends and extended family, Bluey has adventures around her home in Brisbane, Australia.

The series has earned a devoted fanbase around the world, with both children and adults following the show’s madcap humor, relatable characters, and heartfelt explorations of childhood and parenting. Thanks to a deal between the Australian Broadcasting Company and Disney, the series is currently streaming in the U.S. on Disney+.

Despite any doomsday rumors you might have heard on the internet, Disney has not announced any plans to remove Bluey from its streaming platform. In fact, with the show as wildly popular and profitable as it is, with numerous merchandising agreements, Disney is unlikely to let go of it any time soon.

In fact, there’s new Bluey content coming to Disney+ very soon. On April 14, the first-ever Bluey special will see its global release. The special, called “The Sign,” will be 28 minutes long, approximately the length of four Bluey episodes. According to the trailer that Disney recently released, “The Sign” will focus on the wedding between Bluey’s Uncle Rad and his fiancée, Frisky. In the trailer, we see Bluey, Bingo, and their cousins Muffin and Socks wearing flower garlands on their heads, which means they may be flower girls in the wedding.

However, there’s a hint of pathos to “The Sign,” too. At the end of “Ghostbasket,” which dropped on April 7, we learn that the Heelers are selling their home. Could the For Sale sign in front of their house be the sign that the special’s title is referring to? What’s going to happen to Bluey and her family?

Ludo Studios reportedly announced a hiatus after finishing production of “The Sign,” so we may not get new Bluey episodes anytime soon. However, that doesn’t mean the existing episodes will leave Disney+. For now, all 152 episodes of Bluey are currently streaming on Disney+, and they’re likely not going away any time soon.

  • When Can We Read ‘Lost In The Cloud’ Chapter 101?

When Can We Read ‘Lost In The Cloud’ Chapter 101?

    [ad_1]

Photo of Lost in the Clouds characters from the manhwah

Lost in the Cloud is a popular ongoing yaoi comic among manhwa fans. Some fans might be wondering if there’s a Lost in the Cloud chapter 101 release date yet.

We have good news and bad news, depending on what language you speak. The untranslated version of chapter 101 of Lost in the Cloud was released on April 5, 2024. Paspaskim, the author of the story, usually drops new chapters on Friday of each week. So this is good news for Korean speakers. The bad news is for English-only speakers, as it typically takes four weeks for the English translation of a chapter to come out. That means there won’t be an English translation of chapter 101 until May 3, 2024.

Lost in the Cloud was first published by Lezhin Comics on November 20, 2020, and on March 17, 2021 for the English version. This story follows the character of Yeon Skylar, an amateur photographer who can’t help but take photos of Seong Chan-il, their secret crush. Skylar’s friend Baek Cirrus finds out about Skylar’s embarrassing hobby one day, which leads to some pretty serious situations. Cirrus tells Skylar that his secret is safe with him—in exchange for harassing Skylar constantly.

A fair bit of warning ahead of time: This is a story about romance and manipulation abuse, which may be a lot for some people to handle. With that being said, the intimacy sparks do fly at some point in the story, making it well worth the time to read. This is also a story about mental health, as Skylar has his own psychological problems to deal with and get medical help for. His ensuing relationships with the others threaten to throw his mental health into chaos.

You can read Lost in the Cloud and many other webcomics on Lezhin’s official website.

  • Episode 8 of ‘Invincible’ Season 2 Is Here, so Now Onto Episode 9 … Right?

Episode 8 of ‘Invincible’ Season 2 Is Here, so Now Onto Episode 9 … Right?

    [ad_1]

    Rex Splode in

I’m not even going to humor you with an opening riff on the eighth episode’s events here, because if you’ve been following Invincible in any observable capacity and are wondering about this, I advise you to get a few sticky notes to counteract your very apparent object permanence struggles.

Folks, there’s no episode nine of Invincible season two; the eighth episode was the season finale, so that’s the last we’ll be seeing of Mark Grayson and company for quite a while. It’s just as well, because it doesn’t seem like Mark wants anybody to look at him right now. After all, he just killed a man.

Granted, that man was Angstrom Levy, whose inadvertent transformation turned him quite violently against Mark and, by extension, Debbie and Oliver. No one, then, is harboring even an ounce of criticism towards Mark for slaughtering him with his bare hands. But for Mark, it only highlights just how far removed his life is from the lives of others. Indeed, even the best support systems in the world would have trouble relieving Mark of the reality of the world he walks in.

It’s also a world in which he couldn’t even bring himself to tell Eve how he feels, despite being urged to do so by her future self, a world where Omni-Man has slowly come into his humanity against all odds and a world that may not have much longer in this universe if the Viltrum Empire gets their way.

So no, there’s no episode nine of Invincible season two. When we return for season three, hopefully Mark will have proven his commitment to becoming better. He can wallow in his guilt all he wants, but at the end of the day, he’s going to be the deciding factor once Viltrum is on the scene. And what a scene it will be to witness.
