  • Has Family Law Season 5 Been Canceled or Renewed?

    [ad_1]

With the fourth season of Family Law underway, fans are eager to know about the show’s future, specifically whether it has been renewed for a fifth season. As the Canadian legal drama continues to impress viewers, here’s a breakdown of the show’s present renewal status.

Has The CW canceled Family Law Season 4 or renewed it?

Family Law has neither been canceled nor renewed for Season 5. The status of the show hangs in the balance at the moment. It has not been cancelled, and may be renewed after the network assesses the response to the fourth season. Renewals typically depend on both audience reception and viewership numbers.

As the fourth season is still ongoing, there is still plenty of time for the showrunners or the network to announce a new season. Earlier this year, The CW picked up the show for a fourth season. This suggests that the viewership numbers are quite consistent even in 2025. If this is the case, chances of a renewal are high.

Family Law, created by Susin Nielsen, follows Abigail Bianchi, a recovering alcoholic and lawyer. She returns to work with her dysfunctional family after getting suspended. It stars Jewel Staite in the leading role, alongside Victor Garber, Zach Smadu, Genelle Williams, and Lauren Holly, among others.

As the fourth season of the show is still going on, there hasn’t been much talk about a Family Law Season 5. The narrative seemingly isn’t going to wrap up in the final episodes of Season 4. If the latest installment leaves loose ends in the storyline or ends in a cliffhanger, the demand for a renewal will be present.

Presently, The CW has yet to announce whether they are going forward with Family Law Season 5. The fourth season, meanwhile, continues to air on Wednesdays at 8 PM EST on The CW in the United States.

  • General Hospital’s Cameron Mathison on Why Drew Is Still Alive

    [ad_1]

Cameron Mathison is giving fans the inside scoop on why his character, Congressman Drew Cain, survived a near-death experience on General Hospital. Mathison has also opened up about his alter ego’s continued role in the show, why he thought Drew might get killed off, and what lies ahead for the villainous politician.

Cameron Mathison on why Drew isn’t dead on General Hospital

Cameron Mathison recently admitted in an interview that he wasn’t always confident Drew would be alive in General Hospital. With Drew making so many enemies, Mathison expected his character could easily be written off.

While speaking with Soap Opera Digest, he said, “Absolutely! One thousand percent,” when asked if he thought Drew might be killed. “As soon as [his descent into villainy] started happening, of course, I was thinking about that. I’ve been around the block long enough to know when you can sort of smell somebody getting ready to be sacrificed for a better story.”

Still, Mathison believes Drew’s role as a compelling villain saved him. “Drew’s a good villain. He’s not out there killing people! I think there’s more story to tell, more things for him to get involved in, and, of course, I absolutely love being here.”

After all, Drew’s dramatic return from the brink of death has left viewers divided. While some fans hoped his storyline was over, Mathison revealed that he knew the suspense would get a strong reaction. “I could just hear the millions of viewers being like, ‘Noooooooo!’” he joked. “I was like, ‘Yeah, here you go, everybody — I’m not gone yet!’”

Additionally, according to Mathison, Drew will use the victim card to manipulate others and blame Michael. “He’s going to use this to target Michael regardless of whether Michael is the shooter,” the actor explained. Drew wants Willow, the woman he loves, to have access to her children, and framing Michael could help him achieve that.

That’s exactly what is happening, as in the September 8 episode, after waking up, he asked for Willow. Later, Dante said that Michael was the one with the strongest motive to shoot him. Even though his memory of the night is hazy, Drew remains determined to bring Michael down.

They examine a tight forty-minute window of opportunity based on the rainstorm, ruling out Jason and dismissing the idea of a professional hit. • General Hospital Spoilers & Sept 5 Recap Confirms Drew’s Fate

    [ad_1]

From Jason thinking he is on his way to rescue Britt to Brennan finally catching the traitor, here is a recap and all the spoilers from the General Hospital September 5 episode.

Spoiler filled recap for what happened on General Hospital on Friday, September 5, 2025

Sonny hints Sidwell murdered Judge Herrin

At Café Cherie, Sonny met Diane to talk about Drew’s shooting. Diane assumed he wanted to discuss the corruption case against Drew, but Sonny clarified that he wanted intel on Judge Herrin.

Drew claimed Herrin was bribed, and Sonny suspected Sidwell might have played a role in her sudden death. Diane admitted Herrin was always fair, which made the custody ruling for Michael suspicious. Still, she warned Sonny she couldn’t investigate Jenz since he was also a client of the firm.

Michael discovers Jacinda is his alibi

At the hospital, Michael spoke to Liz about Drew’s condition. Drew remained critical but stable, while Willow continued to recover under Liz’s care. While waiting for his bloodwork, Michael read Lulu’s article and spotted Jacinda in a photo with Drew. Realizing she was the woman he had been searching for as his alibi, Michael recalled meeting her after her trip to Australia.

    Willow becomes Scout’s legal guardian

Felicia informed Willow that she was now Scout’s custodial guardian following Drew’s shooting. Willow, recalling the custody papers she and Drew signed, willingly accepted the responsibility. This news devastated Alexis, who had sent Molly to court to get Drew’s restraining orders dismissed. Molly returned with the bad news that not only were the orders still in effect, but Willow now had custody. Liz then offered Willow and Scout a place to stay, which Willow accepted.

Nina claims her alibi while Portia keeps quiet

At Portia’s office, Nina got the surprising update that Drew was likely to survive. She insisted she had an alibi—Willow—though Portia didn’t fully believe her story. Portia pointed out that while Nina’s grudge against Drew was public, hers was private. Lulu arrived, hoping for a quote about Drew and Stella, but Portia refused.

    Jason faces gunfire

Overseas, Jason returned to a resort where he was immediately ambushed. After taking out a gunman, Jason regrouped and followed clues Britt had left. The note gave him an entrance code and pointed him toward her lab.

Meanwhile, at The Five Poppies, Vaughn and Joss remained tied up as Pascal hinted they might meet a watery end, only to later declare they were still useful and would live for now.

    Brennan catches Colette

Colette, angry about her reassignment to Algeria, rifled through Jack Brennan’s empty office. On a phone call, she complained that the code for his safe didn’t work and told someone else they would have to get what they needed. The scene ended with Brennan himself bursting in, gun drawn, demanding to know who she was really working for.

  • General Hospital Fans Think Drew Killed the Judge Before Being Shot

    [ad_1]

With the shooting of Drew, General Hospital has turned things on its head, and it seems that this long-awaited moment has brought in some unforeseen twists with it, including the killing of the judge. Now that Drew has also been shot, fans are wondering if he is behind the murder of the judge.

Did Drew kill the Judge before getting shot on General Hospital?

While there is nothing in General Hospital that indicates Drew killed the Judge, fans may think he could be behind it. His past behavior and history may play a role in this. He actively participated in the custody battle between Michael and Willow. Willow later came to Drew again in hopes of winning the custody back.

After the death of the Judge, many theories emerged. The most prominent one was that Sidwell had killed the judge. But now some fans are starting to wonder if Drew was behind the murder. This theory also does not seem very far-fetched and may actually convince many fans.

The conversation started on Facebook’s General Hospital Fans page, where one user posted, “Did Drew kill the judge before he was shot?” Another user replied to this, “Maybe.” But others had different theories. One user countered this, saying. “I think it was Sidwell because he heard that she was paid to make Michael custody of his children and Drew was going to see if it was Michael who paid her and he didn’t want Drew to find out it was him that did so. I think Sidwell killed the judge and then killed Drew.”

The second theory also seems to be quite in line with what could have happened. Sadly, General Hospital has yet to reveal the fate of Drew or who murdered the Judge. But it is clear that something much bigger is causing both of these events.

    Stay tuned for more updates.

  • Bachelor in Paradise Finale Reveals Who Won the Prize Money

    [ad_1]

The Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 finale had everything: heartbreak, messy drama, surprise loyalty tests, and a whole lot of money on the line. By the end of the night, two couples not only proved their love but also walked away with hefty cash prizes, and one even left with a shiny new engagement ring.

Who are the winners in Bachelor in Paradise Season 10?

The big winners of Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 were Alexe and Andrew, along with Jess and Spencer.

Heading into the finale, three couples remained: Alexe and Andrew, Jess and Spencer, and Kat and Dale. The first big challenge, called the “Weight of the World,” forced each duo to hang on while strapped to weights that grew heavier by the minute. After 43 exhausting minutes, Alexe and Andrew outlasted the others and secured their spot in the finals.

That left Jess and Spencer and Kat and Dale to fight for survival. But instead of competing in another challenge, they faced a jury of eliminated contestants. The jury vote tipped in favor of Jess and Spencer, ending Kat and Dale’s Paradise run. When Jesse Palmer asked the finalists to pick between love or money, Andrew made it clear his heart was with Alexe.

He even mentioned that while money could ease her student loans, he wanted her to choose what felt right. Alexe didn’t hesitate either as she picked love. Their reward? A surprise twist that let them select an envelope worth up to $250,000. The couple took home $125,000 while leaving the beach as one of the season’s strongest pairs.

Jess and Spencer also chose love, and it paid off big. Their envelope revealed $190,000, giving them both financial security and a fairytale ending. But Spencer went one step further. He dropped to one knee and proposed, and Jess said yes, turning their Paradise story into a real engagement. Meanwhile, Kat and Dale may have fallen short in the jury vote, but their story left fans divided about whether they were unfairly targeted.

Now, The Golden Bachelor Season 2 will be premiering on September 24, so Bachelor Nation won’t have to wait long.

  • General Hospital Spoilers: Why Did Drew Blackmail Michael?

    [ad_1]

General Hospital has delivered yet another dramatic conflict with Drew Cain‘s recent decision to blackmail Michael Corinthos. The two share a bitter history in the show that is now boiling over as Drew threatens to expose Michael. So why is Drew targeting Michael now?

    Here are all the details.

Here’s why Drew blackmailed Michael on General Hospital

Drew Cain has stumbled across the perfect opportunity to help Willow get her children back. He will do so by blackmailing Michael and forcing him to give up the custody of the kids.

Willow is devastated after losing custody of her children to Michael and wants nothing more than to bring them back. However, this loss has pushed her closer to Drew. She believes that his support might be the key to reuniting with her kids.

Michael has been looking for ways to help Willow gain back custody, and now Marco has handed it to him on a silver platter. Marco had information about the bribery that paints Sonny in a bad light. It could look like Sonny had bought off the judge to help Michael win the custody battle.

However, Marco becomes frustrated when his father, Jenz Sidwell, refuses to use this leverage. He wanted to speed up Sonny Corinthos’ downfall with the help of the information, but his father refused to cooperate. This leads Marco to confide in Drew instead, in hopes that he will finally help expose the bribery. Thus, he spills it all to Drew and asks him to put the information to good use before it’s too late.

So, Drew uses this information to blackmail Michael, threatening to ruin his reputation by exposing the scandal. With his back to the wall, Michael is left with very little option but to comply with Drew’s demands. Whether or not he will finally give up the custody remains to be seen.

  • General Hospital’s Josh Kelly on if Cody Wants to Confess to Ava

    [ad_1]

Josh Kelly, who plays Cody on General Hospital, recently opened up about how his character’s instincts are pushing him to reveal Kristina’s deal to Ava. For context, Kristina planned to sabotage the suspected romance between Ava and Ric by offering Cody money to seduce Ava. She wanted Ric to see for himself what kind of person Ava is.

Her intent behind the plan was to protect Molly, whom Cody has feelings for, from Ava. Here’s what we know so far.

Josh Kelly says Cody’s ‘gut’ is telling him to confess to Ava on General Hospital

In a conversation with Soap Opera Digest, Kelly revealed that Cody confessed the scheme to Tracy. Her words of wisdom really got “under his skin.” He feels he is not living up to Tracy’s expectations. He is done hustling in the wrong way and hurting those around him. Cody hopes to become a better person.

“I think a lot of people don’t learn our lesson, so we keep getting in trouble. That’s been true for Cody, but I think Cody is kind of done. He’s starting to see that he can have a real life. He doesn’t have to settle for just trying to hustle his way through life to get by. He has been building friendships and relationships. His life could have more value than just making a little bit of money if he’s true to the people that have been good to him,” he added.

He further mentioned that Cody has improved as a person and built new relationships. So, the deal he made with Kristina doesn’t align with who he has become now. He considers the deal a “win-win” since it would get him money and rescue Ava from a one-sided relationship, but it is also distracting him from building real connections.

Adding to the discussion, he said, “Cody is realizing that being more Mac-like, and embracing some of the nature of his biological father, he would actually have a more fulfilling life, a less chaotic life.” Despite knowing Molly is not into him, Kelly explained why Cody desperately wants to expose the truth.

He noted, “Cody’s gut has been telling him, and Tracy has been telling him, that it is no longer the easy out to take the money. It’s gotten too difficult and too complicated. So, the path of least resistance is to come clean.”

  • All General Hospital Fans Aren’t Happy With Ryan Paevey’s Return

As Nathan was killed off when he left, it could be a tough road integrating him in the tale again. And it seems that not all fans are equally hyped about Paevey’s return.

Fans say ‘Nathan is dull’ on Ryan Paevey’s return to General Hospital

The announcement of Ryan Paevey’s return is surely a huge one and has caught the attention of soap fans all around. But not all General Hospital fans are equally happy with the prospect of Nathan coming back to the show.

While Ryan Paevey is yet to confirm the role he will play on the show, it is quite evident that Nathan is the most likley role for him, even though Nathan was killed off when he left.

An Instagram post about Paevey’s return became a ground for debate amongst fans, with some overjoyed at Nathan’s return and others not so satsified.

“Nooooooo, there goes Spixie. Naxie is boring. Nathan is dull. Happy he has a job though,” one user said for instance. “No coming between Soinelli and Maxie though please and thank you,” another user said, referencing his character on the show.

But there were a lot of positive reactions to his return as well. “Nathan and Maxie were endgame! I hope he’s coming back as Nathan! He needs to not be dead!,” one user said while another said, “No way!!!! This is the best news I’ve heard in a while! Yay.” Yet another user added, “Sooo excited! But how silly is it that he and his sister both died but are not dead?! I can’t wait to see Muther’s face!”

One more thing that makes it interesting is that Paevey’s return is almost coinciding with Kirsten Storms’ possible exit as Maxie.

All the factors combined, it seems fans are quite divided over this return, even though it is still not certain if Paevey will indeed return as Nathan.

Stay tuned for more updates on General Hospital.

  • What Is Amanda Knox’s True Story That Inspired Hulu’s Miniseries?

    [ad_1]

Fans are wondering if the upcoming Hulu series, The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox, is based on a true story. It is a crime drama with Grace Van Patten in the lead role as Amanda Knox. With its August 20, 2025 release, the series has already caught the attention of crime drama fans.

Here’s what we know about the story so far.

Is Hulu’s The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox based on a true story?

Yes, Hulu’s The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox is based on a real incident.

Amanda Knox was an exchange student in Perugia, Italy, in 2007. She was wrongfully accused of murdering her roommate, Meredith Kercher, after Kercher was found dead in their apartment.

What is the real-world incident that inspired The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox?

Knox shared an apartment with Kercher while studying in Perugia. On November 1, 2007, Kercher was found dead in her room, having been sexually assaulted and stabbed to death (via The New York Times).

After discovering Kercher’s body, Amanda Knox and her then-boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, were arrested and interrogated without legal representation. During questioning, Knox falsely accused her employer, Patrick Lumumba, of involvement in the murder. Lumumba was jailed for two weeks before police proved his innocence and cleared him. This shifted attention back to Knox and Sollecito, who were then officially charged with Meredith Kercher’s murder.

Later, Rudy Guede, a known drug dealer, was arrested after his DNA was found at the crime scene. Despite Guede’s arrest, Knox and Sollecito remained on trial.

During the trial, Knox was sentenced to 28 and a half years in prison. When the case went to the appeal court in 2010, experts argued that evidence might have been contaminated. The alleged murder weapon did not contain Kercher’s or Knox’s DNA, and lapses in forensic procedures were highlighted. The court eventually found the couple not guilty, and they were released from prison in 2011.

Years later, Amanda Knox returned to Italy and spoke about how the media twisted her image and what it was like to endure the trial.

  • Mad Max: Did Scabrous Scrotus Die Between Furiosa & Fury Road?

Mad Max: Did Scabrous Scrotus Die Between Furiosa & Fury Road?

    [ad_1]

Scabrous Scrotus, one of the sons of Immortan Joe, is a major supporting character in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, the prequel to the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road. However, he is noticeably absent in the latter. In addition, Josh Helman, who portrays Scrotus in Furiosa, appeared in Fury Road as a War Boy named Slit. This has made the viewers wonder what happened to Scrotus between Furiosa and Fury Road and whether he died.

Here is what we have discovered about the fate of Scabrous Scrotus in the Mad Max franchise

What happened to Scabrous Scrotus between Furiosa and Mad Max: Fury Road?

Scabrous Scrotus may have died between Furiosa and Fury Road.

In Furiosa, the film’s primary antagonist Dementus takes over the oil refinery Gastown and runs it into the ground. Furiosa eventually captures Dementus and exacts revenge on him for what happened to her mother. In Fury Road, the People Eater, an ally of Joe, is in control of Gastown. Interestingly, in the Mad Max video game, which debuted a few months after Fury Road, Scrotus is the leader of Gastown. He also serves as the primary antagonist and is eventually killed by Max Rockatansky.

Furiosa implies that a considerable time passes between the titular character’s triumph over Dementus and her escape with Joe’s five wives in Fury Road. A lot can happen in that time, especially in the Mad Max universe.

According to We Got This Covered, as things stand in May 2024, the video game is non-canonical to the main plotline of the Mad Max franchise. However, that can potentially change due to what happens in Furiosa. There is a power vacuum in Gastown after Dementus’s defeat. It’s possible that Joe decided to fill it with one of his sons, and after Max killed Scrotus, the People Eater took over Gastown.
