  • Graham Foster’s Emmerdale comeback sparks fears Kim Tate could be killed off

Graham Foster’s dramatic return to Emmerdale has already caused chaos, but fans are now convinced it could spell serious danger for Kim Tate.

After six years presumed dead, Graham is suddenly back in the village and viewers are certain his comeback is not just about unfinished business with Rhona. Instead, many believe this storyline is being carefully lined up to bring Kim’s time on the soap to a permanent end. Could Graham really be back to kill her?

Graham Foster returns from the dead

It may stretch belief, but few viewers are complaining about Graham’s resurrection six years after his supposed death.

His first appearance came during Corriedale, where he was seen driving a van with a girl named Jodie tied up in the back. After the crash, he spotted Joe Tate and abruptly terminated his contract with whoever he was working for.

Through flashbacks, viewers later learned Graham had returned to the village that same day to help Rhona. Hearing she was in trouble, he came back determined to protect her.

Rhona was left reeling when she saw him standing in front of her. Graham explained he had faked his death after discovering Kim was plotting to kill him. Believing Rhona would only be safe without him, he disappeared with help from ex-SAS contacts and police officers, eventually finding work solving problems for wealthy clients.

This time, though, Graham insisted he was acting for free. His goal was to kill Ray to protect Rhona and her family. He came close, but Joe interrupted the beating, forcing Graham to flee before finishing the job.

Kim and Graham come face to face

After disappearing again, Graham is set to return on Tuesday January 27, paying another visit to Rhona. When Joe arrives claiming to have seen him, Graham is forced into hiding once more.

Rhona manages to deflect suspicion. But when Graham eventually reappears, he is visibly stunned by how close Joe and Kim have become, especially given that he was once ordered to kill Joe himself.

Back at Home Farm, Joe offers Kim a replacement for Ice, choosing a horse from the same gene pool. Although touched, Kim refuses, remarking that the dead cannot come back to life.

Moments later, Graham appears and proves her wrong.

Kim is left completely stunned. And with the memory of paying Al Chapman to kill Graham still hanging over them, this reunion looks anything but warm.

Is Graham back to kill Kim?

Some fans are convinced Graham’s return is actually designed to engineer Kim’s exit, with her death at the centre of the storyline.

Kim has long been tipped to die. And Graham’s reappearance has only strengthened those theories.

“Graham’s revenge could be the storyline for Kim’s death,” suggested one fan on Reddit. Another simply added: “Kim might be dead soon…”

On X, others are more focused on the confrontation itself. “I can’t wait for Kim and Graham to come face to face, will it end in murder?” wrote one viewer, echoing the excitement shared by many.

    Is Kim Tate leaving Emmerdale?

Speculation about Kim Tate leaving Emmerdale is nothing new. But neither the show nor actress Claire King has ever confirmed an exit.

Back in December, Kim’s death was teased when she was thrown from her horse after Lydia and Sam set up an illegal shoot and laid rabbit traps.

She spent the night badly injured and close to death, but ultimately survived. Tragically, it was her beloved horse Ice who did not.

With Graham now standing face to face with her once again, fans are convinced Kim’s luck may finally be running out.

  • Emmerdale fans baffled as Victoria covers up John Sugden death despite clear self-defence

John Sugden’s death has left Emmerdale viewers with more questions than answers, especially after it emerged that Victoria killed him in self-defence and still chose to cover it up.

With Joe Tate now holding all the cards, fans are wondering why the truth was not told from the start and how this latest cover-up is going to unravel.

As Victoria finally revealed what really happened to her half-brother, it became clear this was not a calculated murder, but a desperate act to save her own life. Yet instead of going to the police, she staged the scene and kept quiet, dragging Robert and Aaron into the lie.

It is a familiar Soapland move and one that has left viewers shouting at their screens once again.

    John murdered by Victoria

As police questions intensified on Tuesday January 6, it was revealed that John’s body had been found. While death is rarely permanent in Soapland, just ask Graham Foster, all signs currently point to John being gone for good.

Suspicion initially fell on Robert Sugden, who had motive and had been with John shortly before his death. But Robert had taken Cain to get medical treatment after John shot him, placing him elsewhere. Despite this, the police continued to circle, prompting Victoria to finally confess the truth to Aaron and Robert.

Victoria explained how John had drugged her and attempted to drug Harry in a bid to force her to go with him. After waking and learning about the crash, she rushed to the scene to check on Aaron and Robert. Spotting Robert heading into the woods, she followed, only to hear a gunshot moments later.

John then confronted her, pleading for forgiveness and asking her to let him escape. When she refused and told him he was not her brother, he attacked her, pinning her down and covering her mouth. Terrified for her life, Victoria grabbed a syringe and stabbed him in the neck.

Believing she had no other option, Victoria wiped the syringe and placed it in John’s hand to make his death look like suicide. Robert and Aaron vowed to keep her secret, with Aaron reassuring her that she had done what she had to do.

Which only raises the question viewers keep asking. Why not tell the police?

    Fans react to the cover-up

Unsurprisingly, viewers were quick to vent their frustration online, with many struggling to understand the need for yet another cover-up storyline. These reactions say it all.

What happens next after John’s murder?

The biggest problem with Victoria’s cover-up is Joe Tate. He saw everything and filmed it, and he is now using that footage to blackmail Victoria and Robert into silence.

Show boss Laura Shaw has already confirmed the truth will eventually come out.

“The truth about John’s death will be revealed, as Victoria’s clever deception, making John’s death look like suicide, will unravel,” she explained.

“Evil Joe Tate knows the truth and has damning video evidence which he plans to use to get what he wants from the Sugdens, potentially taking control of Butler’s Farm. Robert is also in the thick of it, trying to save Victoria by planting evidence.”

With Isabel Hodgins heading off on maternity leave, it certainly feels like this storyline is steering towards Victoria’s exit. Whether that means prison, running away, or something else entirely remains to be seen.

And as if that wasn’t enough, Moira’s situation goes from bad to worse.

“The Dingle family are set to face huge repercussions and Cain is at the centre of a major prostate cancer storyline spanning across 2026.

One of Corriedale’s biggest shocks came with the return of Graham Foster, a man believed to have died six years ago. His comeback raises huge questions, and Laura confirmed it is only the beginning.

“A familiar face is returning to the village full-time. None other than Graham Foster will make a sensational comeback,” she said.

“His return will have massive repercussions for both Kim, with whom he shares a complex love and hate relationship, and Rhona, who was about to run away with him.

“Graham will explain exactly what happened six years ago when he was ‘killed’, but the question will be whether Joe can ever forgive his father-figure for allowing him to believe he was dead.”

    Charity in Emmerdale
Charity will not keep her secret forever (Credit: ITV)

    5. Charity’s secret exposed in Emmerdale spoilers

Mackenzie now believes Charity’s baby could be his, rather than Sarah and Jacob’s, and has demanded proof. Charity has already faked one DNA test, but can she really get away with it again?

“The truth surrounding Charity’s pregnancy is set to blow wide open,” Laura warned.

“Mackenzie mistakenly believes he could be the baby’s father, but the secret that Ross is the real father is still under wraps.

“With the baby due in spring, the birth may be the event that finally exposes all of Charity’s secrets…”

Paddy will struggle to cope (Credit: ITV)

    6. Paddy’s mental health struggles return

As Paddy continues searching for his missing dad, the devastating truth is waiting to be revealed. Laura confirmed Bear has been killed by Celia, a loss that will have a serious impact on Paddy’s wellbeing.

“While Paddy is still out searching for his missing father, the bleak truth is that Bear has been killed by the villainous Celia. This emotional search and tragic discovery will bring Paddy’s mental health problems back to the forefront.”

Corriedale may have wrapped up, but it is clear Emmerdale is heading into one of its most explosive and emotional years yet, with the fallout set to touch almost every corner of the village.

  • Who killed Ray in Emmerdale? All of the suspects from Marlon Dingle to Laurel Thomas

Emmerdale has now confirmed Ray Walters is dead – but the question everyone’s asking is who actually killed him.

After months of manipulation, drug dealing and helping Celia run a farm built on forced labour, Ray had more enemies than friends by the time he met his end. He groomed April and Dylan into doing his dirty work, lied to those around him and showed little remorse for the damage he caused.

In Monday night’s episode (January 5), viewers were treated to a string of suspicious looks and ominous moments, with several characters clearly harbouring reasons to want Ray out of the picture. With motives stacked high across the village, the list of suspects is already growing.

Here’s a closer look at who could be responsible – and why Ray may have finally met his match in Emmerdale.

Ross would do anything for April (Credit: ITV)

    Ross Barton

If there’s one thing viewers know for sure, it’s that Ross would do absolutely anything for April. His love for Donna and his fiercely protective nature have always defined him, especially when it comes to her daughter.

Fans have long questioned Ross’s absence from this storyline – until now. After April went missing for several days, she resurfaced when Ross gave her a lift home. During the drive, he reminded her that he always has her back, before suggesting they keep what happened between them a secret.

As April got out of the car, Ross glanced into the back seat – where a gun was lying. It was a moment that spoke volumes.

    Marlon Dingle on Emmerdale

    Marlon Dingle

From the moment Marlon learned what Ray had been putting April through, he wanted him gone. So it’s hardly surprising he’s landed on the suspect list.

While there was no clear evidence pointing directly to Marlon in this episode, there was a fleeting moment that made him look uneasy. And being a Dingle, he has plenty of ways to make problems disappear.

Whether he acted alone, called in a favour, or took matters into his own hands, Marlon’s anger makes him a serious contender.

    Laurel upset
    Laurel is suspicious (Credit: ITV)

    Laurel Thomas

Laurel raised plenty of eyebrows during the episode, with her behaviour suggesting she was hiding something. She was seen cleaning a pair of scissors and appeared on the verge of breaking down, which didn’t go unnoticed.

Having only just discovered Ray’s involvement with April and Dylan, Laurel would understandably be horrified that she allowed him into her home and anywhere near her children. Her guilt and anger could easily have pushed her too far – and she’s certainly got a motive.

    Ross drops April off home
Ray has put April through a lot in Emmerdale (Credit: ITV)

    April Windsor

April’s disappearance has been one of the most worrying parts of this storyline. The last time viewers saw her with Ray, he was urging her to run away, insisting he didn’t want to kill her.

But the pressure of everything she’s endured may have become too much. If April believed Ray’s death was the only way she could reclaim a normal life in the village, could she have snapped?

Of course, Ray was much bigger than her, which raises questions about whether she acted alone – or had help.

Rhona made a mystery phone call (Credit: ITV)
Rhona made a mystery phone call (Credit: ITV)

    Rhona Ghoskirk

Rhona was just as disgusted as Marlon when the truth about Ray came out – and she didn’t hide her feelings. During the episode, she made a mysterious phone call, asking someone if “it was done”.

What exactly she was referring to remains unclear, but the timing is suspicious. Was she talking about Ray – and if so, what role did she play?

Dylan is back speaking to Paddy in Emmerdale
Has Dylan turned to murder? (Credit: ITV)

    Dylan Penders

Dylan has also just learned that Ray planned to leave with April. This could have been the final straw. Having been groomed and manipulated by Ray, his anger would be understandable.

There wasn’t much in the episode to clearly point the finger at Dylan, but the emotional damage Ray caused him shouldn’t be underestimated. And with Celia already dead at Ray’s hands, could history have repeated itself?

For now, Emmerdale is keeping viewers guessing. One thing’s certain though – 2026 has kicked off with yet another murder mystery in the Dales, and the truth won’t stay buried forever.

  • Emmerdale hints Charity’s baby secret is about to be exposed, but could this be how?

Emmerdale may have quietly dropped a massive clue about how Charity’s baby secret is finally going to come out in tonight’s episode (Thursday December 18). And it all centres around a moment that should have been reassuring – but clearly wasn’t.

After attending her 20-week scan with Sarah and Jacob, Charity should have been breathing a sigh of relief. Instead, she was visibly unsettled. And with so much emphasis placed on testing and genetics, has the show just signposted how the truth will explode into the open?

Vanessa grilled Charity over the baby’s parentage in Emmerdale tonight (Credit: ITV)

Charity’s dangerous baby lie in Emmerdale

Charity is still hiding the bombshell truth that she’s carrying her own baby, conceived after a one-night stand with Ross Barton. Instead, she’s pretending she’s acting as a surrogate for Sarah and Jacob – a lie that’s becoming harder to sustain by the day.

The strain is already showing. In tonight’s episode, Vanessa picked up on Charity’s nerves and started pushing for answers. Vanessa suspected the baby might actually be Charity and Mack’s, after previously being led to believe Mack was the father.

Under pressure, Charity let slip that there’s a chance the baby isn’t Sarah’s – before quickly trying to backtrack. But the damage was done. Vanessa’s suspicions were well and truly raised, and she’s not about to let this slide.

Charity has concerns over the baby in Emmerdale (Credit: ITV)

The 20-week scan raises serious questions

At the scan itself, Charity’s anxiety only deepened. She repeatedly questioned the sonographer about genetic conditions and insisted on extra checks. Although reassured that the baby is healthy, Charity struggled to relax, brushing it off as worries linked to her age and what happened with Chas and baby Grace.

But viewers know there’s more going on.

The sonographer explained that Sarah and Jacob’s embryo was genetically tested, meaning there’s little cause for concern. Jacob then added that he’s had his own tests to ensure he isn’t a carrier of anything that could be passed on.

For most expectant parents, that would be comforting news. For Charity, it’s anything but – because this baby was never created from Sarah and Jacob’s embryo at all.

Charity can’t keep things hidden from Sarah forever (Credit: ITV)

Is this how Charity’s secret will finally come out?

It may be coincidence – or it may be very deliberate. There was heavy focus on genetic testing throughout the episode, and how safe it made everyone feel about the baby’s health.

So is Emmerdale hinting that something will be wrong? And that it’s something that should have been picked up by tests Charity’s baby was never part of?

If the baby were to develop a genetic condition inherited from either Charity or Ross, it would instantly expose the truth – and in devastating fashion.

We already know Charity’s secret is under serious threat this Christmas. We also know pregnant Charity is involved in Corriedale. Some fans are convinced a baby swap storyline with Corrie’s Shona could be on the way. A genetic condition would blow that plot wide open too.

Whether this is clever signposting or deliberate misdirection, one thing is clear: Charity’s lies are starting to close in on her – and the fallout is coming.

    1. Lydia goes behind Kim’s back

Lydia and Sam have had enough of how Kim and Joe have been treating them, and with money tight, they make a risky decision to earn some extra cash behind Kim’s back.

Sam agrees to organise a shoot on Home Farm land – with a group of lads Kim had previously banned. The money offered is too good to refuse, and Sam plans to use the cash to fix the electrics and buy the family a huge Christmas turkey.

Lydia, meanwhile, is tasked with keeping Kim miles away from the estate while the shoot takes place. She pushes Kim to attend the Christmas Fayre, promising to meet her there.

But the shoot quickly spirals, with the group demanding a full gourmet banquet. As Kim grows increasingly anxious that Lydia hasn’t joined her, the risk of the whole scheme being exposed grows by the minute. Will Lydia make it to the village before Kim grows suspicious?

With no way to call for help and night closing in, Kim lies helpless on the forest floor – left with nothing but the hope someone finds her… or the terrifying possibility that she won’t survive.

  • Celia’s empire starts to crumble in Emmerdale as police raid Depot and Laurel grows suspicious

After Anya’s heartbreaking death in tonight’s episode, Celia and Ray’s criminal enterprise comes under fresh threat next week in Emmerdale, as the police launch an investigation into drugs running through the Depot.

Realising one of their own must have betrayed them, Ray becomes determined to root out the “traitor” – but who tipped off the cops?

Anya dies in Bear’s arms as Celia and Ray scramble to cover their tracks in Emmerdale

Anya’s condition deteriorated rapidly in tonight’s episode, despite Bear’s desperate attempts to care for her. Ray failed to bring the essential antibiotics she needed, choosing instead to focus on hiding their modern slavery operation from Kim Tate.

As Kim arrived for an impromptu inspection, Ray hurried upstairs to keep their captives silent, while Celia lied that her turkey feed was toxic to horses – sending Kim away before she could get a proper look around.

But the commotion upstairs raised Kim’s suspicions, and Celia furiously turned on Ray afterwards. When he finally admitted Anya needed medication, she sent him out to get some. Tragically, by the time he returned, Anya had died in Bear’s arms.

Bear is forced to dig Anya’s grave

Next week, the horror only deepens. Outraged to discover Ray has dumped Anya’s body in the feed shed, Bear snaps and insists she deserves a proper burial.

Celia reluctantly agrees but turns the “funeral” into another cruelty. Under cover of darkness, she leads Ray and Bear to a field at Butler’s and orders Bear to dig the grave himself. After they bury Anya, Bear delivers a heartfelt tribute – leaving Ray visibly shaken, but Celia completely unmoved.

Later, Mick and Simo beg Bear to escape with them. They insist Ray has brainwashed him, and Bear begins to question everything. Staring at a photo of Anya’s daughter and thinking of Paddy, he wonders whether it’s finally time to break free.

Police storm the Depot as Ray realises there’s a mole

Meanwhile, trouble brews elsewhere for Celia and Ray when the police receive a tip-off about drugs being moved through the Depot – using Caleb and Jai’s vans without their knowledge.

Billy and Dylan look on in shock as officers arrive, and Jai is left utterly blindsided when questioned. Unable to give any answers, he directs police to Caleb.

When Ray hears what’s happened, he panics. He orders Dylan to halt all drug movements immediately. He also tells April and Dylan that the informant will face serious consequences when caught. But who has turned on him?

  • Emmerdale disaster incoming: Bear’s fate ‘sealed’ as Joshua Richards makes devastating admission

Emmerdale’s modern slavery storyline reaches one of its darkest points yet as Bear is forced into a horrific task that leaves him utterly broken.

With Anya now dead and Ray and Celia showing no shred of humanity, Bear faces a life-changing choice: stay loyal to the people who’ve manipulated him, or take his chance to escape.

Bear discovers Anya’s fate in Emmerdale – and finally snaps

After months of grooming, intimidation and forced labour under Celia and Ray, Bear has become one of their most loyal – and most exploited – captives. But the cracks are beginning to appear.

The already desperate situation deteriorated further when Anya, another enslaved worker and one of Bear’s only true friends, fell dangerously ill. A leg wound turned septic, but Ray refused to let her seek medical help. Despite Bear’s attempts to save her, Anya died in his arms.

When Mick and Simo quietly reveal that Ray has dumped Anya’s body in the feed shed like rubbish, Bear finally snaps. Consumed by rage, he pins Ray against the wall, furious at the disrespect. Ray eventually calms him down. But it’s clear something has shifted in Bear’s mind.

Celia orders Bear to dig Anya’s grave

With Bear refusing to let Anya be discarded, Celia is forced to improvise. She leads Bear and Ray into one of Butler’s fields under the cover of darkness, announcing they will hold a “funeral.”

But Bear’s quiet relief turns to sickening horror when Celia reveals what she really expects: Bear and Ray must dig Anya’s grave themselves.

Despite the cruelty of the task, Bear complies. The grave is dug, Anya is laid to rest, and Bear – exhausted and devastated – delivers a heartfelt farewell speech. His grief fills the silence… while Celia watches on without a flicker of remorse.

The moment cements the brutal reality of how trapped Bear truly is.

Mick and Simo beg Bear to escape in Emmerdale – but will he go?

Back at the barn, Bear is crushed by the events of the night. But still, he continues to cling to Ray’s manipulative reassurances. Mick and Simo, try once again to make him see the truth: he’s been brainwashed.

They reveal their plan to escape, urging Bear to come with them. But Bear is torn between loyalty, fear and trauma. He lies motionless on his bed staring at a photo of Anya. His thoughts drift to Paddy and the life – and love – he abandoned.

He’s at a crossroads. Will he risk everything to break free alongside Mick and Simo? Or will he remain trapped in Celia and Ray’s twisted world, sinking deeper into the psychological hold they have over him?

Joshua Richards warns: Bear may be “too far gone”

Actor Joshua Richards, who plays Bear, doesn’t sound hopeful about Bear’s willingness to leave.

“He’s too far gone at this point,” he explained. “He’s decided in his mind already that he’s walked out the door and he’s never be coming back.”

Joshua added that Bear doesn’t want to upset anyone, describing him as “lost and adrift,” believing Ray to be something of a surrogate son.

Has Bear fallen too deep into their control – or could Anya’s death finally be the turning point?

  • April in danger: Fans think unlikely character will rescue her after tense Emmerdale scenes

Things have taken an even darker turn for April Windsor in Emmerdale, and after Celia’s latest sinister warning in Tuesday’s (November 18) episode, it’s becoming clear there’s now a target on the teen’s back.

But while April’s situation looks more dangerous than ever, some fans think they’ve seen a hint that the person who may step in to protect her could be the last man anyone would expect – Ray.

Bob came to April’s resue at the police station (Credit: ITV)

April faces escalating danger in Emmerdale

April has been caught in Ray and Celia’s drug and exploitation ring for weeks, believing she owes them a debt they deliberately invented. With Celia pressuring her into meeting men, things spiralled when April lashed out at client Callum and became convinced she’d killed him.

Unbeknownst to her, Callum is alive – but Ray and Celia are weaponising the lie to trap April even further.

On Monday (November 17), April was arrested in Newcastle on drugs charges. She immediately phoned Bob, who rushed to the station to act as her appropriate adult. April refused to answer any questions, responding only with “no comment,” before being released without charge.

Terrified Marlon would find out, April begged Bob to keep her arrest secret – or she’d never speak to him again.

Returning home, she found Celia and Ray waiting. Celia coldly told Ray that April now ‘needed dealing with.’

Celia manipulates Bob – and threatens April

In Tuesday’s instalment, Bob wrestled with whether to tell Marlon the truth. Sensing his inner turmoil, Celia swooped in to “comfort” him – while expertly steering him away from doing the right thing.

Bob eventually confided in Celia about April’s arrest. Putting on her warmest facade, Celia minimised the situation. She urged him not to betray the trust April had placed in him.

After some thought, Bob reluctantly agreed to keep quiet.

But when Celia later confronted April, her tone shifted instantly: “You’ve just used up your final chance,” she warned – a threat so chilling April recoiled.

Could Ray turn on his mum? (Credit: ITV)

Emmerdale fans think Ray will flip and save April

Despite the growing danger, fans think they’ve spotted a twist coming – one that suggests Ray could be the one to turn on Celia and rescue April.

Their theory stems from a specific moment this week: Ray shooting a weary look at his mother and sighing heavily as she threatened April again.

One viewer wrote: “That look and sigh from Ray suggests he’s had enough of Celia’s sheer nastiness towards April.”

Another wondered: “Judging by that look, I think Ray might end up being the one to save April in the end.”

A third fan took it even further: “I wonder if Ray will end up killing Celia to protect April?”

A fourth mused on the idea: “I could see that. Ray being redeemed before prison. And April’s mum died saving him – so him saving April from Celia would feel like repaying the debt.”

Whether Ray is gearing up for a redemption arc or April is running out of chances remains to be seen. But this dangerous story is building to something huge.

  • Emmerdale heartbreak turns deadly as Kev gets a gun after Robert’s bombshell

Robert Sugden finally cut ties with Kev Townsend in tonight’s Emmerdale – and although fans are thrilled to see the back of the prison romance, the break-up might have triggered something far more sinister.

With Kev’s temper spiralling and a gun soon in his hands, Emmerdale may be lining up major danger for Aaron Dingle.

Robert had to break the news to Kev it was over (Credit: ITV)

Robert ends things with Kev in Emmerdale – but the full truth stays hidden

This week revealed exactly how Robert and Kev’s intense prison bond began – and the huge lies they’d built their relationship on. While Robert invented a story about Victoria having a brain tumour, Kev has been spinning an even bigger lie: his terminal illness doesn’t exist.

Kev now knows Robert lied to him, and tonight he stomped around, determined to uncover what else Robert had kept from him. Although Robert managed to cover his tracks by insisting he was only trying to spare Kev’s feelings, he didn’t admit the truth: he’s still completely devoted to Aaron.

Once Kev began to settle, Robert came clean – or at least half-clean – and ended their relationship. He claimed he simply didn’t have the same feelings anymore. Kev, devastated, broke down in tears. But with Kev’s emotions the most unstable we’ve ever seen them, how long before heartbreak twists into something more dangerous?

Trouble is afoot next week (Credit: ITV)

Kev spirals – and a gun appears

Next week hints that Kev’s storyline is about to take a dark turn. Although he continues insisting he wants to spend his “final days” with Robert, his temper is bubbling terrifyingly close to the surface. He even lashes out at Mack over a spilled coffee, with Robert forced to intervene before things explode.

Despite his guilt, Robert returns home to Aaron and admits he’s agreed to look after Kev when the end supposedly comes. Aaron – perhaps too generously – gives him his blessing.

But things take an unsettling turn at Vinny’s housewarming when Kev, extremely drunk, humiliates himself with karaoke before storming out. Robert once again promises he’ll be there for him, but when Kev is alone at Woodbine, his behaviour shifts from wounded to dangerous: he pulls out a handgun.

So what is Kev planning? And with Aaron and Robert both in the firing line of his emotions, who is in the most danger?

Kev is at breaking point (Credit: ITV)

Actor Chris Coghill warns Kev ‘would have no qualms’ about attacking people – except Robert

Chris Coghill, who plays Kev, has already hinted that the character’s violent tendencies could soon break through.

“He’s incredibly dangerous,” he has said.

But he adds that there’s a key exception: “He’d never actually hurt Robert.”

That still leaves a major question hanging over the village – because Aaron absolutely isn’t off-limits.

With Kev armed, unstable, and heartbroken, viewers might need to brace for another explosive chapter in this already chaotic love triangle.

  • As Robert admits to prison transfer lie, he opens up about his trauma in Emmerdale tomorrow

Robert Sugden admitted to lying about his prison transfer in Emmerdale tonight, as he came clean to Aaron about moving back to Hotten. This isn’t the first thing Robert’s kept from Aaron about his time behind bars – failing to mention that he had a whole prison husband when he first returned.

And, as the story continued tonight, Robert revealed that he wasn’t behind bars at the Isle of Wight the whole time after all. No, he’d actually been sent to Hotten some time ago.

Here’s everything that happened in Emmerdale tonight – and what happens next.

    Shocking news for Robert

Robert and Kev returned from their mini-moon in London tonight (November 11), after last week’s vow renewal. Thinking of the future, Kev was keen to move in with Robert and Victoria.

While Robert and Victoria tried to work out how they could let Kev down gently, he arrived at the cottage with some bad news. An old prison acquaintance of theirs, Jez, had killed a man.

A shocked Robert revealed how Jez had targeted him in prison, and would beat him up and abuse him until Kev stepped in.

Robert revealed the truth about his prison transfer in Emmerdale tonight

After Kev left, Aaron popped round – with Victoria telling him that Robert had received some bad news. Robert explained that he thought after he walked out of the prison gates he’d be able to just leave Jez and Kev in his past.

Robert then revealed that he’d held back some key information from Aaron. “I wasn’t on the Isle of Wight. I got moved back,” he admitted, before confessing he had been locked up just up the road in Hotten.

Robert went on to explain that there was so much he hadn’t shared with Aaron about his time in prison, including why he and Kev were so close. “It’s time I told you everything,” he added.

Special Emmerdale episode to delve into Robert prison trauma

The ending of Tuesday’s episode sets us up for Robert’s special standalone episode tomorrow (November 12), which will explore his time in prison via a string of flashback scenes.

Last month, Emmerdale revealed it would be airing 3 special episodes. Two of those, involving April Windsor and Bear Wolf, have already aired. And now it’s time for the final one.

Previously speaking about this episode, Ryan Hawley, who plays Robert, said: “The flashback begins around five years ago. We go through different time periods right up until May of this year, just before Robert is let out and interrupts Aaron and John’s wedding.”

Robert will detail to Aaron all about his trauma at the hands of prison bullies as well as how Kev saved his life. Ryan also teased a twist, explaining: “There’s one particularly nice little twist. Something happened in prison that is massively pivotal. No one finds out about it until it’s revealed here.”

Bear missing since July in Emmerdale

Paddy has finally discovered that his dad never made it to Ireland. Realising he hasn’t heard from him since their falling out, Paddy is desperate to find Bear and patch things up.

But next week, Emmerdale will expose the horrific circumstances Bear is living in – and why he feels he can never return home.

Although Bear is physically close to the village, he believes he’s too far gone to reconnect with his family. The strength and humour that once defined the former fighter have disappeared completely.

Flashback scenes will reveal what happened during the missing 100 days of Bear’s life. It will show how he was taken in by people who appeared kind and supportive. They offered him work in return for food and a place to stay.

It quickly becomes clear that Bear was coerced, manipulated and trapped. The ‘help’ he was offered became exploitation, and before long he was under total control.

Injured, malnourished and emotionally broken, Bear is shown to be entirely at the mercy of his captors. He has never been more isolated – or more vulnerable.

Modern Slavery storyline aided by The Salvation Army

Emmerdale has worked closely with The Salvation Army to portray this storyline authentically, focusing on an elderly, vulnerable man who becomes an easy target for traffickers.

Joshua Richards, who plays Bear, explained: “It may surprise many people, but slavery is alive and well, indeed prospering in the modern world… It is happening under our very own noses.”

He added that disadvantaged and isolated people are particularly at risk of being groomed and exploited. He also hopes the storyline can help highlight the reality of Modern Slavery.

Producer Laura Shaw also spoke about the importance of the plot. She explained that the countryside setting is not as idyllic as it appears. It can also conceal serious criminal activity.

She highlighted Ray and Celia’s involvement, pointing out that although Ray is far from a likeable character, the episode will show glimpses that suggest he, too, “may be trapped in a world beyond his control.”

As Bear’s standalone episode airs, Emmerdale promises a deeply disturbing, eye-opening exploration of Modern Slavery. Viewers will finally understand how Bear ended up in such unimaginable danger.

  • Emmerdale under fire again as shocking April episode prompts viewer Ofcom complaints

Emmerdale is facing another wave of Ofcom complaints following harrowing scenes involving April Windsor that aired last week.

The episode has sparked fresh backlash, adding to the hundreds of complaints the soap has already received over the summer.

Ofcom complaints over April storyline in Emmerdale

According to Ofcom, 60 viewers contacted the broadcasting regulator after the episode that aired on Thursday, October 30. While Ofcom has not confirmed which scenes triggered the objections, it is widely believed viewers were reacting to the disturbing storyline in which April was sold for sex by Celia Daniels.

The episode showed April being sent to meet Callum, who had paid to be with her. Although he initially appeared sympathetic and told April she didn’t have to do anything she didn’t want to, his attitude quickly changed.

Callum then told her it was going to happen and began unbuttoning his shirt. Terrified, April hit him over the head with a bottle, leaving him apparently dead on the bed.

The following day, a panicked April called Ray. He came to collect the body and cover everything up. Celia then reinforced her control over April, telling her she “owns her” – a moment that viewers widely described as “repulsive.

April believes she has killed a man, but viewers now know the truth. In Wednesday’s episode (November 5), Callum appeared alive, bandaged and complaining about what happened, but otherwise fine.

    Other Emmerdale complaints

This controversy follows a string of other complaints aimed at the soap over the summer. In an episode broadcast on August 12, Vinny Dingle was violently attacked in a homophobic assault by newcomer Mike, who had pretended to befriend him online.

The brutal scenes, which aired before the watershed, drew 279 complaints. Viewers objected to violent and sexual content being shown so early.

More trouble followed on August 21, when John Sugden hunted down Mackenzie Boyd with a bow and arrow. He then appeared to kill him by smashing a rock onto his head. These graphic scenes prompted a further 158 complaints.

Emmerdale continues to court controversy as the April storyline intensifies, and with more unsettling episodes on the horizon, it seems Ofcom may not be done hearing from viewers just yet.

  • Emmerdale fans slam ‘disturbing’ storyline as Celia threatens to kill April’s family

April came clean to Celia and Ray about what had happened with Callum in Emmerdale tonight (Friday, October 31) – leaving the pair shocked, and with a murder to cover up. As Ray continued to threaten April, Celia vowed to make April pay for what she’d done.

And, as the episode ended, Celia issued a terrible threat – telling April that she’d kill her family if she didn’t play ball.

Here’s everything that happened in Emmerdale tonight – and the fan backlash to these terrible events.

April came clean in Emmerdale tonight

In tonight’s episode of Emmerdale, April came clean to Celia and Ray about what had happened with Callum. April had ran off after refusing to sleep with Callum, who she then hit over the head with a bottle after he wouldn’t let her go.

Celia received a call while in the pub and cut short her evening, soon tracking down April alongside Ray. The duo proceeded to quiz the teen about what happened, and she quickly confessed all.

April admitted Callum was dead, leaving Celia less than impressed.

Celia informed April that she would not be linked to the crime, as it would also impact her, allowing April to be slightly relieved.

While April breathed a sigh of relief at the news, Celia informed her she had thought up plenty of ways for April to make it up to her in the future.

Celia soon headed back to the pub, while Ray went to find Callum’s body and prepare to sort out the crime scene.

Ray then headed back to find April. He threatened her as she begged to be returned to her family. Ray then informed Celia that April was planning to leave and said she was going to turn them both in.

This led to April being threatened by Celia, who also made it clear that she was not going to let April go anytime soon. Celia proceeded to threaten April’s family, leaving the teen fearful.

Emmerdale fans hit back against ‘repulsive’ storyline

Fans of Emmerdale have made their feelings about April’s current storyline clear. Many have taken to social media to beg for the plot to end.

“This storyline is absolutely repulsive,” wrote one fan on Reddit. “She’s literally watching her grandfather go on a date with the woman who is coercing her.”

“This storyline with April & Dylan needs to come to an end. Hopefully the Dingle clan will find out what’s been going on & sort Ray & Celia out for good,” wrote another.

A third said: “Just when I didn’t think this April/Dylan/Ray storyline couldn’t get any worse,” as another penned: “April. This is hard to watch. I really hate this storyline.”

Other Emmerdale fans branded the storyline “disturbing” and “uncomfortable”, as many admitted they aren’t “enjoying” watching it.

  • Emmerdale: As Dylan steals from Ray and Kerry lies to Jai, has everyone lost the plot?

Emmerdale tonight was packed with questionable choices as Dylan decided to steal from Ray, and Kerry chose not to tell Jai the truth.

Both storylines had us shouting at our screens – and wondering why no one in the village seems capable of making a sensible decision anymore!

Here’s our full rundown of what went down in Tuesday’s episode.

April and Dylan plan to run away (Credit: ITV)

Dylan stole from Ray – but will he live to regret it?

Oh, Dylan. What are you doing?

Ray’s latest ‘job’ didn’t sit right with April from the start. He promised her it was ‘a nice guy who wouldn’t want anything weird’ – but April still had her doubts.

When she tried to talk to Dylan about her worries, she couldn’t quite find the courage to tell him how uneasy she felt. But Dylan wasn’t exactly feeling confident either.

Tasked with finding Ray’s missing bag, Dylan broke into Vinny’s house to look for it. He told Ray he’d come up empty-handed – but that was a lie.

When Ray lost his temper, Dylan finally started to see what April had been saying all along: maybe Ray isn’t the ally he thought he was. So Dylan came up with a new plan – to take Ray’s cash and run.

After secretly pocketing the money, he told April they could use it to start a new life together. April, however, was terrified of what Ray would do if he found out. Dylan’s answer? Get moving — fast.

We’ve got a bad feeling about this one…

Kerry lied to Jai – and it backfired spectacularly

Meanwhile, Kerry was also making some seriously questionable choices.

After rushing off to read the coroner’s report on the limo crash with Matty and Jacob, she roped Billy into covering her shift. But when Jai found her later, opening booze in the shop, he assumed the worst.

Instead of coming clean about where she’d been, Kerry clammed up. And Jai – being Jai – fired her on the spot.

Honestly, this one feels like a ‘because plot’ situation. If Kerry had just told him the truth, things might have gone very differently. But we all know where this is heading… with sparks flying between these two before long!

Kev’s threats left Aaron reeling in Emmerdale tonight

Elsewhere, Aaron was still struggling after Kev’s menacing threats. When he bumped into Robert in the café, he told him everything.

Robert confronted Kev, but Kev managed to talk his way out of trouble. Then when Aaron showed up at the pub, Kev smoothed things over while Robert sulked and Aaron fumed.

This one is getting a bit tedious. Come on, Emmerdale — give us something to get excited about again!
