As a fashion person, I love a good style score. I live for it, in fact. When I’m not scrolling through the Cyber sales during the peak sale seasons, there are a few sites I regularly check out for always-discounted designer finds, namely The Outnet, Saks Off 5th, and Nordstrom Rack. Since making shopping lists is one of my favorite activities, I put scoured these three sites and put to together a list of the most epic on-sale designer finds I came across. Some of these were truly mind-boggling to see at such steep discounts, like a Nensi Dojaka bodysuit, a Khaite ruched LBD, or a sultry cutout skirt from Christopher Esber. And yet, the off-price market really delivered on my latest visit.
Since you’re reading this, I’m betting that these designer sale finds will pique your interest as much as they did mine. Ahead, check out the discounted coats, boots, knits, and bags that won’t stay in stock for very long.
Given that I started working at Who What Wear almost a decade ago, it’s to be expected that my style would’ve changed a lot during that time. But I’m also someone who has brand loyalty, and although my city of residence and budget may have changed over the years, there are a few brands I come back to time and again. And one thing that they all have in common is that they’re relatively affordable.
I took a look at my existing wardrobe and did a little photo research of my 2014 self, and it was instantly clear that these six brands have stood the test of time for me, from baby fashion editor then to senior fashion editor now. I sadly don’t have photos of myself wearing all of these brands during both decades, but please enjoy these photos of me now and then, and scroll to shop my current favorite items from each brand.
If you’re reading this, you probably haven’t finished your holiday gift shopping yet, and that’s okay. Life is busy, and you might have a lot of people to shop for, so don’t be too hard on yourself. That said, you should probably go ahead and check all of the names off of your list so that you can enjoy the holiday season sans gift-giving stress.
Luckily, you still have plenty of time to shop for gifts at Amazon and Nordstrom, as they offer some of the fastest shipping on the internet. (And we love them for it.) They also have tons of gifts to choose from, but some overwhelmed shoppers would say that there are too many. That’s where I come in. I’ve been keeping track of the best Amazon and Nordstrom gifts for weeks, and I’m ready to share.
Read on to shop my favorite crowd-pleasing gifts while there’s still ample time to receive them and get them to your loved ones.
Is injecting Botox into your feet safe? Davis says yes, but with a caveat. “As long as it’s not masking pain connected to a bigger issue that needs to be treated, such as a fracture or underlying systemic disease,” she says. “Just as I wouldn’t recommend a podiatrist inject Botox in your face, I wouldn’t recommend seeing a derm for injections in the feet that could be related to an area of expertise only a podiatrist would have,” With that being said, phone a podiatrist for all foot Botox needs.
If you’re looking for less invasive ways to treat foot pain, there are definitely options available. “In some issues of chronic foot pain, Botox injections might be safer and have less side effects than taking oral steroids or pain medication, for example,” says Davis. We’ve compiled a few at-home remedies for foot pain that are safe to try—keep scrolling for more. If you’re dealing with chronic or intense foot pain, please consult your doctor before trying any at-home remedies.
I’m a big fan of winter. Huge. I’m also very into shopping, and since the colder months can impact my mood, I’m doing some premature damage control and indulging in some innocent retail therapy from one of my fave spots, Nordstrom. I won’t lie: My beauty situation is pretty expansive. After a decade of working in the industry, I have my skin and makeup essentials sorted. In other words, I know my nonnegotiable products, so at this point, I’m just in the market to play.
What can I say? I’m feeling festive. I love finding products that will make me (and others!) feel happier and more confident, so have at it! Keep scrolling for 31 wonderful beauty finds that also make really solid gifts.
Ahh, lipstick—one of my favorite beauty topics. If you’re like me and can’t seem to keep your collection in check, I’m sorry to do this to you, but I have a few more picks you might need to add to your roster. Before you click away, hear me out on these. Sure, you may have a nice variety of both drugstore and luxury options, but I must say that there’s something special about getting a shade that also happens to be *limited edition,* thank you very much.
The holiday season is especially ripe for this. All my favorite makeup brands from Dior and Charlotte Tilbury to Nars and YSL tend to release limited-run shades and tubes just in time for the gifting season. After all, an exclusive hue can make an incredible gift for any makeup lover in your life. If limited-edition lipsticks are your thing, you’re going to want to keep reading. I found the best ones to give (and get) this holiday season from the best designer brands. Take a peak below and make haste—they won’t stay in stock for long.
I feel a bit like a broken record when I say this but as an editor, I basically shop all day for a living. And while the majority of that shopping is obviously for the many stories I write, I also inevitably find things for myself along the way. My finds this fall have been particularly great and I thought it’d be fun to share them with you in case you’re looking for gifts or cool things for your own life.
For the purpose of organization, I’ve broken my special fall finds (many of which can be used during the winter and year-round) down into the categories of fashion, beauty, and home. Some are very useful and some are just for fun. Either way, they come highly recommended by yours truly (and I’m admittedly picky).
Scroll on for my favorite random finds as of late. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Along with everyone else, I became a big J.Crew fan when the brand started to show up all over my For You page on TikTok. I have to admit I wasn’t the biggest fan of J.Crew before. I associated it with a stiff, preppy style and lots of horizontal stripes. But I’ve been proven wrong, especially with Olympia Gayot taking over in her creative director role. J.Crew now feels more elevated, stylish, and even a little bit cool. While deep-diving into the J.Crew site, I found so many items that would be great closet staples. I’m always looking for a new piece of clothing that’s versatile and high-quality and fits into my closet seamlessly. It’s like J.Crew read my mind. You wouldn’t believe how good its selection is.
I’ve rounded up 30 items that I can’t wait to try. Keep scrolling to see which 30 made the cut.
I met French fashion influencer Géraldine Boublil almost a decade ago at a dinner party I threw with my French boyfriend at the time in Hollywood. We immediately bonded over the quinoa salad recipe I had made that evening. (She may be French, but she definitely appreciates the healthy Cali lifestyle!) Aside from her warm and loving personality, I was immediately struck at how incredibly stylish she was—the epitome of that effortlessly chic French-girl aesthetic we write and talk about so often here at Who What Wear.
Fast-forward 10 years, and it’s been such a joy following Géraldine’s Instagram @erinoffduty. From her fashion week outfits to her travels and all the of-the-moment It items she knows about first, she’s always a great source of sartorial inspiration.
While Géraldine lives in Paris and I live in L.A. (where everything from the weather to dressing habits can differ greatly), there are certain specific trends and styles we always agree on. Given that we’re often intrigued by what people are wearing in various cities, today I thought I’d share some of our favorite winter trends we both gravitate to during the cold-weather season. Perhaps it sparks some interest in your daily wardrobe (regardless of where you live!). Keep scrolling for a range of visual inspiration on the winter styles we both love.
At first glance, Wednesday Addams is not who you’d associate with as an icon for Gen Z. With a disgust for human connection, there’s a multitude of reasons why she still finds herself to be a lonely outcast in a school that’s meant for outcasts. Atwood designed the costumes with a strong intention to push that striking difference.“Wednesday’s dress in the first episode was in the style of Charles Addams with a large, sharply pointed white collar. This really contrasts her against what we see from the other students in traditional, American teen fashions.”
Atwood isn’t wrong about the traditional teen fashions. On-screen portrayals of my generation are largely littered with clashing prints, beaded phone cases, and a penchant for color. It’s not that I’m surprised at Wednesday‘s success, as Burton has created a new world for the Addams family that seems impossible not to be fascinated with. It’s that we’ve become used to seeing characters from shows like Euphoria and Sex Lives Of College Girls making impactful stylistic connections with younger audiences, and Wednesday can feel a little out of left field. Before this series was released, I initially thought such a seemingly morbid character wouldn’t entirely resonate with the masses as much as it has, but I’ve never been happier to be proven wrong.
We routinely turn to French women for styling ideas. After all, when you look at the feeds of influencers like Aïda and Franny, you’re bound to find a smattering of desirable looks that are equal parts chic and effortless. You know, that whole “je ne sais quoi” thing. On that note, after recently going through said feeds, we found a few specific winter trends that really stuck out as being favorites among many Parisian women. We cross-referenced some of the said trends with some of the new arrivals we spotted at Nordstrom, and it’s clear that you can actually buy the key trends at the mega-retailer.
Below, you’ll uncover a range of trends that appeal to French women, including a strong outerwear pick and an easy footwear style. In addition to visual inspiration, you’ll find the shopping recommendations for each that are available at Nordy right now.
Soria believes in ballin’ on a budget—something I absolutely can’t argue with. “As an advocate for accessible beauty who has used Milani Cosmetics since I was in high school, this was the perfect partnership and an absolute dream come true,” she shares. “I would constantly see my favorite YouTube beauty gurus creating these luxe looks with high-end products, and while I couldn’t afford MAC, Milani was there to bring the color and pigment without breaking the bank.”
Soria kept this in mind when working with Milani on this new collection: “For the Holiday Heist eye shadow palettes, I wanted everyone who came across them to be able to achieve an everyday look and a luxe look all in one palette. As a Latina, I need shades that will pop on my skin so Milani and I co-curated each shade to perfectly suit all skin tones. Additionally, I am known across my social platforms as everyone’s ‘money-saving bestie’ and my motto has always been, ‘Never spend more than you need to.’ Plus, I always finish my videos with the phrase, ‘What do we think?’ These soundbites inspired the Holiday Heist eye shadow palette names as the rose and purple-toned palette in the Luxe Jewel Kit is named What Do We Think? and the Allure Gem Kit eye shadow palette made up of emerald green and gold shades is named Money Saving Bestie.”
“The Holiday Heist collaboration with Milani holds a significant importance to me as a representation of all first-generation Latinas whose parents are immigrants that brought them here for a better future, and who put their hopes and dreams aside to make sure [their children] accomplished all of theirs. Growing up, I never saw someone with my brown skin on a beauty ad and I hope to help inspire the new generation of young girls.”

Unless you live somewhere unseasonably warm, the thing about winter is that you can’t just wear any fancy outfit. Bare legs, arms, or toes are usually not a great idea unless you like shivering. You may be able to throw on anything and go in the summer, but dressy winter outfits require a little more forethought (and layers).
I don’t know about you but I’m very fond of wearing jeans for fancy occasions in the winter, as they’re warm and they’re easy to style. But although they’re easy to style, that doesn’t mean I don’t want some new outfit ideas from time to time. That’s why I regularly scour Instagram for denim-outfit inspiration. My recent searches have been very fruitful and I pulled eight outfit ideas that show that jeans can be dressy, no matter what the wash or style may be. To make these outfits even more cold-weather friendly, all you need to do is throw an oversize coat on over them.

Winter is hard on our hair. Not only is the air excessively cold and dry, which leeches moisture from our strands (and our skin), but also we’re exposing our hair to heat tools more often and roughing it up with hats, scarves, and headbands. It’s no surprise that we see the classic signs of damage appear. We’re talking about split ends, rough texture, and breakage. Where does that leave us in the quest for stronger, shinier hair? Despite the obstacles presented, we don’t have to throw up our hands in defeat and accept damaged, lackluster strands. We just need to winterize our haircare routines. That’s right; like our skin, our hair requires a slightly different routine to stay strong and healthy in the cold months. All it takes is a few product swaps and additions to help our hair thrive. Keep scrolling to see six steps to winterize your haircare routine, according to expert hairstylists.
Celebrity hairstylist Sam Bentson for Unite Hair says one of her top winter hair tips is to invest in a showerhead filter. “The drier your hair is from the weather, the more prone to damage and breakage your hair can be,” she says. “For climates that are already prone to dryness, it is critical to use moisturizing treatments and shampoos and conditioners year-round to protect your hair. Ways to ensure your shampoos and conditioner’s efficacy is to use a water softener. If you can’t afford the full system, they make showerheads so while showering, you protect your hair, skin, and nails from excess damage. My clients that have made the change swear by the difference they see in their hair.”
The next winter hair tip comes from celebrity hairstylist Mary Kendall for Unite Hairand Eric Delapenha, founder and CEO of The Hair Lab. Both recommend switching over to a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner if you’re not using one already.
“Due to cooler temperatures and increased wind during the winter, our hair becomes more sensitive to the elements and often becomes brittle and dry,” Kendall says. “It’s super important to care extra for all hair types during this time, but I find that curly hair, blondes, and color-treated hair get the most affected by this.”
Delapenha agrees, adding that you should avoid shampoo and conditioners with harsh sulfates. “In order to increase the moisture and reduce frizz during these cold months, a great starting point is to avoid using shampoos that contain harsh, cleansing sulfates (SLS or SLES),” he says. “These harsh cleansing ingredients strip the hair of its natural oils and exacerbate winter hair concerns like frizz and dryness.”
“I always tell my clients to compare their hair to their favorite T-shirt,” Kendall says. “Would you wash it every day and not expect it to start to fade or start running and tearing? Your hair is the same way. I highly encourage clients to stray away from washing their hair every day. When you have a washday, I always recommend doing two shampoos—one to release the dirt and oils and the second to let the product do its job without all the oil in the way. This also gives you a few extra days between washing, and you will find your hair gets way less greasy between washes.”
Bentson agrees. “Oftentimes, people that have greasy hair shower daily. This causes the hair to build up excessive oils. To train your hair out of the oil buildup is hard, but dry shampoo will be your best friend,” she says. “A great wash schedule would be two to three times per week instead of daily.”
“Our hair is fragile, and we put it through a lot with hard water, harsh shampoos, heat styling, pulling our hair into topknots, etc.,” Bentson says. “Masks help protect our hair from ourselves; it’s insurance. We want our hair to have strength and elasticity for whatever we put it up against.”
Celebrity hairstylist Bobby Eliotsays heat protectant is a must all year round, but especially in the winter. “In the winter months, people tend to use heat on their hair more. There is more blow drying and heat styling, so it’s important to protect your hair from the heat.” He says he “absolutely loves” this serum “because it prevents damage, helps to repair hair, and protects it from heat.”
“Winter months also cause our skin to dry out,” Kendall says. “Especially our scalps since they often get neglected for hydration, thus causing dandruff, which is everyone’s worst nightmare. So how do we prevent this? Scalp massages are great for stimulating growth and keeping your natural oils flowing.”
She loves this serum, which she specifically recommends for hair growth. “I also love to use essential oils as a treatment for my scalp. I typically take a mixture of tea tree, peppermint, and eucalyptus oil; section off my hair into four parts; and put a few drops of each along these sections. Then I take a few minutes to massage it all evenly into my scalp, sleep with it in, and shampoo and condition in the morning. Not only is this great for scalp stimulation, but this will also reset your pH to get rid of any dryness that could be causing your dandruff.”
Have you ever felt lost in the Amazon fashion vortex? It’s an exciting place with thousands of products, reviews, and ratings, and an onslaught of familiar designers and newly discovered brand names may come swirling into your cart haphazardly. Well, I have, and this is one of the reasons that ratings, TikTok reviews, and editor picks hold value when it comes to such an overarching retailer.
I consistently save relevant “review TikToks” for Amazon products and scroll the top-rated fashion pieces to take mental market inventory. And as I shop for a living, I can apply this expertise to the pieces people are loving.
Below, I’ve edited the best-selling Amazon fashion pieces that are well reviewed and editor endorsed. So all you have to do is shop!
I love lingerie. I always have, as there’s something about it that’s just so pretty and fun to collect. Lingerie makes people feel confident and powerful. Even though it’s something you wear under your clothes, it’s like a secret weapon you have in your arsenal to help make you feel sexier and more confident. And who doesn’t want to feel that? From slip dresses to bra-and-panty sets to bodysuits you can pair with a jacket or mesh top for a night-out look, if it’s great lingerie, I’m into it. The thing about lingerie is there are a lot of brands out there and sifting through which ones are actually worth the hype and which ones are just clogging up your instagram feed but fall apart after one use.
I’m a quality-over-quantity type of person, and as a lingerie lover, I’ve tried so many different brands from more affordable, everyday brands to brands that specialize in luxury lingerie. I’d never gatekeep the knowledge I’ve accumulated over the years, so I’ve listed six lingerie brands that I have in my collection and are by far my favorite. And trust me, I don’t play around when it comes to lingerie.
Keep scrolling to see which six brands pass my test.
I’ll be the first to admit I am a very picky person. I like my clothes folded and hung in a certain direction and color-coordinated. I like my scrambled eggs cooked exactly right (rich and creamy—never fully cooked through). And I like my sweaters to be the absolute softest against my skin. Coarse fabrics and itchiness simply will not do! My sweater snobbery means that I’m always searching, trying, and asking my fellow fashion editors what brands, retailers, and specific styles that are leading the pack in cushy comfort. In fact, today I wanted to share some of the best soft-sweater suggestions courtesy of my fellow editors, who get to try, touch, feel, and see plenty of cozy knits on a regular basis. Scroll below for their suggestions so you can snuggle up in style.
Stocking stuffers are often forgotten until the last minute after we check the much bigger buys on our shopping list. We’ve all been there, in a last-minute shuffle reaching for useless items that spark little to no joy. Well, I’m here to change that this year by deep diving into Urban Outfitters unique, fun stocking stuffer offerings.
In reality, those smaller gift purchases can be some of the funnest. Ahead, check out fashion editor–approved curation of small budget–friendly holiday gifts that pack a punch. Whether it’s a cool 35mm reusable camera, colorful statement barrettes, or the perfect beanie, Urban Outfitters is a solid one-stop shop for all your stocking stuffer needs.
I’m a fashion editor who window-shops obsessively *for fun,* and I also happen to be plus-size. I enjoy developing my personal style and throwing together fun yet chic plus-size outfits just as much as the next fashion person, but the fat-fashion-lover struggle is a particular one. All plus-size folks know how demoralizing it feels to see a beautiful garment on a straight-size pal and fight to find something just as cute in larger sizes. The search feels hopeless at times, but I’m here to make it a little bit easier by clueing you in on cool plus-size-friendly retailers with chic clothing finds from across the internet.
Whether you’re looking to update your wardrobe or completely overhaul your closet, I’ve selected pieces for every kind of shopping need. Ahead, shop an array of goods across every category you can think of, even including a shoe recommendation or two. From reliable jeans and unique outerwear pieces to black-tie-appropriate dresses, the selection below has a plus-size-friendly piece that’s bound to catch your eye.

Laura Lee started her YouTube channel almost a decade ago, and since then, she has amassed more than 4.6 million subscribers. She’s also launched her own makeup line and collaborated with brands like SHEGLAM on limited-edition collections. Impressive? Yes, but the Los Angeles–based makeup artist says she was born loving all things beauty, even before she learned about the importance of skincare. “My skin was good to me. I had (and still have) a lot of freckles and clear skin, but I wish I wore more sunscreen. My family was not educated on the importance of sun protection, and I loved being in the sun,” says Lee.
