Erbert’s health scare came after she and Derek took the stage together at the D.C. stop of his Symphony of Dance tour on Wednesday, December 6. Meghan Trainor was in the audience and praised Erbert’s performance while commenting on Derek’s post.

“The show was absolutely amazing … Hayley was fabulous … I am so sorry this happened,” Trainor, 29, wrote. “We were sad to not see her at the end of the show. I had a feeling something happened … Many prayers and sending love 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️.”

One year prior to Erbert’s health scare, the So You Think You Can Dance alum revealed that she and Derek got into a car accident while driving on icy roads together.

“Given the circumstances, we have so much to be grateful for,” Erbert wrote of the crash via Instagram in December 2022. “I only walked away a little banged up, a swollen face, and four stitches above my eyebrow. Now, more than ever, we realize how fragile life is and how important it is to love those around you.”

In an Instagram comment, Derek noted that Erbert didn’t “remember anything” from the accident.

“She was dazed afterwards, being cheerful saying we should keep going to dinner as blood ran down her face. That really scared me,” he wrote. “She came to 20 minutes later when the firemen arrived.”

Derek and Erbert started dating in 2015, one year after they met on Derek’s Move Live Tour. The duo confirmed their engagement via a joint Instagram post in June 2022.

“It’s only the beginning … the beginning of forever ❤️,” the caption read.

RHOM’s Guerdy Abraira Slams Larsa Pippen for Sharing Cancer News

Guerdy Abraira is not happy with Larsa Pippen after she told their Real Housewives of Miami castmates about her breast cancer diagnosis.

“It’s just the sloppiness of it being said in front of people I don’t even know,” Guerdy, 45, told Page Six on Tuesday, November 28. “It’s actually disturbing.”

Guerdy noted she was particularly upset that Larsa, 49, spoke about her health news with two women who aren’t Guerdy’s friends while prepping for a party with other people in the room. “To say my personal health news? You’ve got people bartending, waiters [around],” Guerdy said, adding that she was shocked by Larsa’s “nonchalant” attitude.

Guerdy shared her breast cancer diagnosis with Larsa during the November 15 episode of RHOM and asked her not to tell anyone because she hadn’t yet decided when she would share the news with some of their costars. At the time, Guerdy had already told Julia Lemigova, Adriana de Moura and Nicole Martin.

As RHOM producers helpfully told viewers, Larsa broke her promise just six hours after lunch with Guerdy, telling two of her friends about the diagnosis before breaking the news to costars Lisa Hochstein, Marysol Patton, Kiki Barth and Alexia Nepola.

When Guerdy and Larsa saw each other again during the Wednesday, November 29, episode of RHOM, Guerdy expressed her anger at Larsa by being short with her, but Larsa didn’t seem to think she’d done anything wrong. Nicole, meanwhile, revealed that Larsa called her to ask whether Guerdy really has cancer, so it seems certain that a bigger clash is coming.

Guerdy publicly announced her cancer diagnosis in May, revealing that she received her diagnosis two months prior. “I will ‘guerdyfy’ this cancer as I guerdyfy everything else in my life,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “I am lucky that this breast cancer was discovered at an early stage — it is still scary of course, but I have love and support from those around me and that alone is the fuel that I need. For those who do not get health checks regularly, I urge you to. Your life depends on it.”

Guerdy completed her last round of chemotherapy in September. At BravoCon two months later, she told the crowd that she’s officially cancer-free. “I’m very excited and I’m so blessed and I literally wake up every morning counting my blessings and making it count,” she said. “Remember that. Make it count!”

In October, Guerdy told Us that she felt a major “release” after finishing her chemotherapy. “I just felt so free,” she said. “It felt so freeing to be me again and a new version of myself. So, now, it’s kind of like, I take no BS from no one, no more. No BS from no one, no more. That should be my new tagline: ‘I take no BS from nobody.’”

Linda Evangelista is opening up about the cosmetic procedure incident that she said left her “permanently deformed” and “brutally disfigured.”

“How people feel about me still bothers me a little bit, but it used to bother me a lot,” Evangelista, 58, said to The Sunday Times in an interview published on Sunday, November 26. “I know now that I didn’t do anything wrong. For the longest time I thought I did.”

She continued: “I’m not completely rid of it, but I work hard at getting rid of the guilt and the shame. And I’m not letting it ruin my life. I wouldn’t have stayed locked up if I’d known how many people cared.”

The model revealed via Instagram in September 2021 that she underwent the CoolSculpting procedure designed to “decrease” her fat cells. Instead, the cosmetic procedure allegedly “increased” them and left her “permanently deformed” even after two “unsuccessful corrective surgeries.”

Evangelista, who reached supermodel stardom alongside Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington, also said on Sunday that she doesn’t look in the mirror.

“My son will say to me sometimes, ‘You might want to know that you have a pimple on your chin.’ And I’m like, ‘What?’ But life is better without mirrors,” she said.

Evangelista, who is a two-time breast cancer survivor, noted that her greatest goal is to “stay alive.” (She was diagnosed in both December 2018 and July 2020.)

“When I hear other people’s stories, I think, ‘Oh God, I have no right to complain,’” she said to the outlet.

Evangelista previously revealed in September 2021 that she developed a rare side effect called Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia (PAH). She noted that she had been left, “as the media has described, ‘unrecognizable.’”

“PAH has not only destroyed my livelihood, it has sent me into a cycle of deep depression, profound sadness and the lowest depths of self-loathing,” Evangelista wrote via Instagram at the time. “In the process, I have become a recluse.”

Evangelista sued Zeltiq Aesthetics Inc. for $50 million in damages. The lawsuit was settled in July 2022 for an undisclosed amount.

“I’m pleased to have settled the CoolSculpting case,” she wrote in an Instagram statement following the agreement. “I look forward to the next chapter of my life with friends and family, and am happy to put this matter behind me. I am truly grateful for the support I have received from those who have reached out.”

Heather Rae El Moussa Dismissed Autoimmune Disorder as ‘Mommy Brain’

    [ad_1]

Heather Rae El Moussa thought she was dealing with “mom brain” four months after giving birth — but the symptoms turned out to be an autoimmune disorder.

“I remember saying to my assistant, ‘I feel like I’m dead,’” El Moussa, 36, said in an interview with TODAY.com published on Thursday, October 26. “My brain was so tired. My body was so tired. I was exhausted all the time and no amount of sleep could make it better.”

Heather Rae and husband Tarek El Moussa welcomed their first child together, son Tristan, in January. Tarek, 42, is also the father of Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 8, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Christina Hall.

After Heather Rae and Tarek welcomed Tristan, now 9 months, she returned to work to film her respective reality shows, Selling Sunset and The Flipping El Moussas. However, the experience felt “brutal” because she could “barely get out of bed.”

“I was like, I’m probably just foggy because of mom brain,’” Heather Rae recalled.

As she continued to deal with fatigue, Heather Rae also noticed there were inconsistencies with her milk supply while being four months postpartum. One day, she would pump at least 6 ounces of milk before barely pumping half an ounce the next. After consulting with a lactation consultant, the real estate mogul decided to get some bloodwork done.

Her doctor told her that her pregnancy had triggered Hashimoto’s disease, which was also the cause of her depleting breast milk. Hashimoto’s disease is an autoimmune disorder that affects the thyroid gland, per the Mayo Clinic. Symptoms of the condition include fatigue, muscle aches, joint pain, problems with memory or concentration and more.

“When [my doctor] told me what I had, I was in total shock,” Heather Rae told the outlet.

After receiving her diagnosis, she was prescribed medication to treat the illness and has been “feeling much better” since seeking treatment.

Earlier this month, Heather Rae opened up about how she no longer breast-feeds her son after he “started to get uninterested.”

“8 1/2 months postpartum. As I write this, my heart is full but also my mama heart is a little sad because my big boy does not want to breast-feed anymore,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “It’s bittersweet for me because breast-feeding as a new mommy was something I grew to love. I love the bond, the skin to skin, the cuddles, and if I’m being honest, it would have been harder for me to make the decision to stop.”
