Sylvester Stallone Is a Father of 5 — Get to Know His Kids

    [ad_1]

Sylvester Stallone is one of the most recognized actors in the industry. His breakout role came in 1976 when he starred in “Rocky,” which was such a big hit that it received 10 Oscar nominations and went on to inspire a whole film franchise. It also led Sylvester to land his role as John J. Rambo in 1982 action film “First Blood,” which, similarly to “Rocky,” resulted in a number of sequels that turned Sylvester into a pop-culture icon. Even decades later, he’s still dominating Hollywood with parts in the Creed, Expendables, and Guardians of the Galaxy franchises. However, one of the actor’s biggest roles in life is being a father to his five kids.

Sylvester’s family is super supportive of his acting career. His wife, Jennifer Flavin, a successful model and entrepreneur, frequently attends Sylvester’s movie premieres, and so do the couple’s three daughters: Sophia Rose, Sistine Rose, and Scarlet Rose Stallone. Whenever the trio aren’t joining their parents on the red carpet, though, they’re off pursuing their own acting and modeling projects. The family’s reality TV series, “The Family Stallone,” brings them all together to show off what goes down with them at home.

Leading up to their show’s May 2023 premiere on Paramount+, Sylvester’s wife and three daughters appeared on “Today,” where the trio opened up about what it’s like dating when their dad is famously known to the world as Rocky Balboa and Rambo. “It’s very difficult,” middle daughter Sistine shared. “He’s quite intimidating to most, and most of the time when they come over to meet the parents, they don’t necessarily return, simply because he’s just so scary.” Sylvester defended himself, saying that it’s because “I don’t trust their intentions. Because I know men.”

The “Tulsa King” star also had an oldest son named Sage Moonblood Stallone, whom he shared with first wife Sasha Czack, who dabbled in acting and filming before he died in 2012. While four of Sylvester’s kids have been in the spotlight, the actor’s second son, Seargeoh Stallone, whom he also shares with Czack, has lived a quiet life out of the public eye.

  • Jordyn Woods Twins With Her Mom and Sister in Sheer Outfits at Fashion Week

Jordyn Woods Twins With Her Mom and Sister in Sheer Outfits at Fashion Week

    [ad_1]

Jordyn Woods turned Fashion Week into a family affair on Sept. 18. While attending the Chet Lo show in London, the model, her younger sister Jodie, and their mother Elizabeth Woods looked like triplets in a set of sheer outfits from the designer’s spring 2023 collection. Inspired by the skin of a durian fruit, each ensemble was covered in hundreds of miniature spikes that added some playful texture.

Jordyn was the most vibrant of the trio in a tangerine cardigan and matching midi skirt. She layered the crop top over a white bralette, which paired beautifully with her pointed-toe pumps. The 25-year-old star completed the outfit with an oversize sunhat also adorned with the brand’s signature spiky design, hoop earrings, and sunglasses with gold frames.

Jodie complemented her sister’s look in a Y2K-inspired outfit: a lavender quilted miniskirt, fingerless gloves, and a sheer turtleneck. Following the rule of thirds, she tied the outfit together with a pair of knee-high boots that reflected the same barbed pattern as her top. Elizabeth looked equally stunning in an asymmetrical evening gown with a single sleeve. Unlike her daughters, she opted for more comfortable footwear, styling the cerulean dress with pastel sneakers. Together, the trio looked like models in their own runway show.

On Sept. 17, Jordyn and her family also wore coordinated looks while attending the MAC Cosmetics show at Fashion Week. JOrdyn served class in an ankle-length pencil skirt, black blazer, chrome accessories, and unique top crafted out of layered belts. Elizabeth mirrored her daughter in a leather maxi skirt with a knee-high zipper slit, a wrap top, a black blazer, and a baseball cap. Jodie brought the mother-daughter matching moment full circle in a leather co-ord set designed to mimic a dark denim wash. She styled the look with black pointed heels and a leather jacket, which she wore off her shoulders.

Ahead, admire the Woods family’s stunning ensembles at London Fashion Week.

  • What to Know About Angelina Jolie’s Famous Parents

What to Know About Angelina Jolie’s Famous Parents

    [ad_1]

Jolie’s dad, Voight, was born in Yonkers, NY, in 1938. He began to pursue acting after graduating from college and first received critical acclaim for his role in 1969’s “Midnight Cowboy.” He won an Oscar for his role in 1978’s “Coming Home,” and his screen credits also include “Heat,” “Mission: Impossible,” and “Ali.” More recently, he appeared on Showtime’s series “Ray Donovan.” He also appeared in “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” as the the father of Jolie’s Lara. When Jolie won her own Oscar for best supporting actress in 2000, she thanked her dad in her speech, saying, “Dad, you’re a great actor but you’re a better father.”

But Jolie and Voight’s difficulties have often been made public. In 2002, when Jolie split from then-husband Billy Bob Thornton, Voight slammed Jolie in the press. He said he was “brokenhearted. . . because I’ve been trying to reach my daughter and get her help, and I have failed and I’m sorry,” per Entertainment Weekly. “Really I haven’t come forward and addressed the serious mental problems she has spoken about so candidly to the press over the years, but I’ve tried behind the scenes in every way.”

Jolie said in a statement at the time, “I don’t want to make public the reasons for my bad relationship with my father. I will only say that, like every child, [my brother] and I would have loved to have had a warm and loving relationship with our dad. After all these years, I have determined that it is not healthy for me to be around my father, especially now that I am responsible for my own child.” She reportedly did not speak to her father until her mother died in 2007.

But eventually, it seems, Jolie started to mend fences with her dad. She told Parade in 2010 that they had started speaking again. She spoke a bit about their reconciliation in the January 2012 issue of Marie Claire, saying, “He’s met the kids and they’ve met him, and I think that’s important that they can do that,” per E! News. “We’re in each other’s lives, but we don’t, as a rule, discuss the past,” she said, adding that she was the one who called him when her mom passed, which was the first time they’d spoken in six years.

In 2017, Jolie told Vanity Fair about her dad’s skills as a grandparent, saying, “He’s been very good at understanding they needed their grandfather at this time. I had to do a therapy meeting last night and he was just around. He knows kind of the rule — don’t make them play with you. Just be a cool grandpa who’s creative, and hang out and tell stories and read a book in the library.”

Back in 2020, Voight also praised Jolie’s parenting skills. “She loves her kids, she’s always involved with them, always concerned for them,” he told reporters at a pre-Golden Globes gala, per People. He added that the biggest thing he’s learned about being a grandfather is “every child is unique.” He explained, “They all have something special, and what you want to do is provide them with the tools to express that.”

Voight is also a vocal supporter of former president Donald Trump.

  • Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Are Now Parents to 3 Girls — Meet the Sisters

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Are Now Parents to 3 Girls — Meet the Sisters

    [ad_1]

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are a family of six! The “Gossip Girl” alum subtly revealed the arrival of the pair’s latest family addition on Feb. 12 via a Super Bowl Sunday Instagram post in which she’s pictured sans baby bump. While Lively and Reynolds are a pretty private celebrity family, we have gotten a glimpse of their three gorgeous girls — James, Inez, and Betty Reynolds — over the years and hope to soon get a peek at their fourth child.

The good news is, every so often, Lively or Reynolds will speak about their parenting experiences or step out with their kids. Back in January, Reynolds traveled to Wales with his eldest daughter, James, to support Wrexham AFC, the soccer team he owns with Rob McElhenney.

Lively and Reynolds have also kept fans updated on their parenting journey. Speaking to ET Canada in April, Reynolds joked about how he’s handling being a father of four, saying, “I haven’t met any of them yet, but they seem great. They have a private Instagram account that I follow.”

He continued: “You know, two to three was a huge jump . . . three to four less so. I cannot speak for my wife, but it’s just from what I’ve observed. But, we love it. You know, we would be idiots to do this again if we didn’t love it.”

Reynolds also shared that he and Lively have always wanted a big family. “Yeah, I come from four, Blake comes from five. Both of us are the youngest,” he told the publication.

While we wait for more details about Lively and Reynolds’s fourth child, here’s everything else we know about their kids.

    James Reynolds

Reynolds and Lively married in 2012 and welcomed their first daughter, James, on Dec. 16, 2014. The little one made her public debut alongside her parents at Reynolds’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star ceremony right before her second birthday, and she obviously stole the show in the cutest outfit. In September 2018, we got a look into James’s humor when Blake shared what the toddler thought her parents’ anniversary meant.

“I had to explain to my daughter what an anniversary is. She’s like, ‘What is it, does it mean you’re having another baby today?’ and I was like, ‘Dear God, no, it doesn’t. It means it’s our wedding’s birthday.’” She definitely had a bit of intuition about her future baby sister there!

    Inez Reynolds

Reynolds and Lively’s second daughter, Inez, was born on Sept. 30, 2016 — less than two months before she also made her public debut at her dad’s Star ceremony. Inez earned her big sister badge right around the time she turned 3, but other than that, we admittedly don’t know much about her. We do know, however, that Dad plans on following her and her sister to college one day, so, godspeed, Inez!

    Betty Reynolds

Although Lively and Reynolds hadn’t released their baby’s name at the time, the latter hinted that they had welcomed another baby girl via Twitter on Oct. 16, 2019. “I love B.C. I want my daughters to experience the same natural playground I grew up in,” he wrote, along with a sweet photo of himself, Blake, and the new baby.

Then, on July 24, 2020, fans speculated that Taylor Swift had revealed the little one’s name in a song on her surprise eighth album, “Folklore.” In a song titled “Betty,” the singer uses both Inez and James’s names. Because Betty is the only other name in the song, fans theorized that Betty is the name of the couple’s third daughter, and later that day, it was confirmed by a source close to the situation that the rumors were true! As the whole family are fans of Swift and James’s little voice appears in Swift’s song “Gorgeous” on the album “Reputation,” it isn’t all that surprising that Lively and Reynolds would let Swift break the secrecy on Betty’s name.

In a November 2020 interview, Reynolds sort of admitted that Betty is his favorite kid, at least at that time. “I have a new baby,” he said of his youngest. “She’s a little over a year now, so I really like hanging out with her, cause it’s fun watching her grow up.” This was all said, however, before Betty developed a “Baby Shark” obsession in April 2021. Jury’s out on whether or not she’s still his favorite!

  • Adam Sandler Keeps His 2 Daughters Busy — by Putting Them in His Movies!

Adam Sandler Keeps His 2 Daughters Busy — by Putting Them in His Movies!

    [ad_1]

“Saturday Night Live” vet and comedy movie icon Adam Sandler and his wife Jackie Sandler are all about the movies. The two met on the set of his 1999 film “Big Daddy” and since then, Jackie has continued to have roles in many of Adam’s films. Better yet, Adam and Jackie’s two daughters, Sadie and Sunny, are in the business too, and their star power has only grown through the years.

Adam’s daughters started out in the business with bit parts in his films, including those that his production company, Happy Madison, produced that he was not in. For example, they were both in “The Wrong Missy” on Netflix alongside Jackie. But they took center stage in the new Netflix teen comedy “You’re So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah” that hit the streamer on Aug. 25. The movie proves Sadie and Sunny are just as talented and funny as their famous parents and are right at home on the big screen.

Still, Adam has opened up about how his daughters don’t always appreciate his work. During an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” back in April 2017 (when his daughters were just 11 and 9 years old), when asked if he ever screens his films for his children, Adam replied, “They beg to see them. They’re like, ‘Please, it’s not fair! Let me watch your movies. Those people always yell things at you on the street. I don’t know what the heck they’re talking about.’” He continued, “I’d say about 20 minutes in, I see them tuning out, and then I hear them. They’re nervous to say it, but [they’re] like, ‘Can we watch something else?’”

Adam did his best to keep them away from any of his grittier roles, however — namely, his performance in “Uncut Gems.” In 2020, he told Closer Weekly, “I’m nervous about when they’re old enough to see this that they’re going to be disappointed in my behavior.”

For more on Adam and Jackie’s daughters, keep reading.

    Sadie Sandler

Sadie Sandler was born on May 6, 2006. Adam and Jackie had Sadie in Los Angeles three years after they married, and Adam said that becoming a dad changed his life. He told Access soon after Sadie was born that he was terrified while Jackie was in labor, but that he was so excited. “I had a chemical reaction in my body, where I loved the kid so much, and I was so nervous for her, and that’s when I lost my mind for the kid.” He also said that he goes all out for his children, including dressing up to tell them bedtime stories, according to the Irish Examiner.

    Sunny Sandler

Adam and Jackie’s younger daughter, Sunny Sandler, was born on Nov. 2, 2008. Sunny was also born in Los Angeles, where her parents have called home for years. Apart from acting alongside her family, Sunny also sings. Adam has invited his daughters on stage to perform with him, like in 2019 when he accompanied them on guitar while they sang Taylor Swift’s “Lover” together at a benefit concert for Epidermolysis Bullosa.

Lionel Messi Moved His 3 Kids to Miami — Get to Know Them

    [ad_1]

Married for six years but together for over a decade, Argentinian soccer player Lionel “Leo” Messi and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, have three adorable sons together: Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro. While playing soccer has always been his first love (in addition to his longtime partner, Roccuzzo, of course), Messi opened up in a 2019 interview about how his kids have shaped his outlook on life: “You grow and you learn. You gather experience in all aspects of life, on and off the field. But, as a human being, having three children changed my perspective on life, my way of thinking, and it also helped me grow.”

In 2022, all of Messi’s passions seemed to come together when two of his boys rushed out to hug him after his team won the FIFA World Cup. Rocuzzo documented the sweet moment on Instagram, and in the caption, she reflected on what her husband has taught her sons. “I don’t even know how to start,” Roccuzzo captioned the gallery, per People. “What a great pride we feel for you @leomessi Thank you for teaching us to never give up, that we have to fight it until the end. IT WAS FINALLY DONE YOU ARE A WORLD CHAMPION, we know what you suffered for so many years, what you wanted to achieve this!!!”

In the summer of 2023, the family underwent a big change when Messi moved his kids to Miami as he transitioned into the US’s Major League Soccer. On July 11, Messi shared a sweet family photo of his wife and kids enjoying time in a pool and at a beach on Instagram, showing that the family seems to be settling in well.

From family-vacation posts to outdoor hangouts, the Messi-Roccuzzo kids are often spotted smiling on social media. And soccer fans are eagerly waiting to see which of the three brothers will follow in their father’s magical soccer footsteps. Read up on Messi and Roccuzzo’s boys ahead.

Nick Cannon Brings Twins Moroccan and Monroe to Sugar Factory Grand Opening

    [ad_1]

On Aug. 11, twins Monroe and Moroccan had a sweet night out with their dad, Nick Cannon . . . literally. The twins, whom Cannon shares with ex Mariah Carey, joined their dad for the grand opening of Sugar Factory’s Time Square location in New York City. In photos from the event, Monroe, Moroccan, and Cannon can be seen taking in the candy-filled sights and enjoying the musical stylings of singer Natti Natasha.

Natasha and Cannon served as cohosts for the event. On Instagram, Cannon shared a video of him and Natasha posing for a selfie together. “@nattinatasha we had the grand opening of @thesugarfactory New York Time Square Lit!!!” he captioned the video.

When he wasn’t busy cohosting the grand opening, Cannon spent time with his twins, as well. In one photo, the trio posed in front of a wall of candy. Monroe wore a black T-shirt with a purple butterfly to the event, while her brother sported a black jacket. The kids were all smiles as their dad put his arms around their shoulders for the snap.

Monroe and Moroccan are the oldest of Cannon’s 12 children. He’s also dad to Golden Sagon, Rise Messiah, and Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell. Additionally, he shares Legendary Love with “Selling Sunset” star Bre Tiesi, Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole, and twins Zion and Zillion and Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa. He also has daughter Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott. He and Scott also had a son, Zen, who died after being diagnosed with brain cancer when he was 5 months old in 2021.

Cannon previously opened up about how Monroe and Moroccan responded to having so many younger siblings in a June episode of “The Language of Love.” During the interview, he revealed the twins were worried he wouldn’t have time for them anymore. “[Monroe] was like, ‘You love me the most, right?’ I was like, ‘Alright, let’s have that conversation. You are my firstborn, so you are unique.’” He went on to add that he tries to find a special way to connect with each one of his kids.

Heidi Klum Rocks Her Tiniest Thongkini Yet on Vacation With Her Family

    [ad_1]

Heidi Klum’s Italian vacation has been packed with swimwear moments, and the latest is just as striking as every bathing suit that’s come before. The 50-year-old “Project Runway” alum spent time on the beach with her children and husband, Tom Kaulitz, showing off a black-and-orange floral thongkini — perhaps her tiniest yet — from Australian resort label Matteau. Consisting of a triangle top with a simple clasp fastening at the back and a brief bottom that’s high-cut, the two-piece retails for $290, though it’s currently on sale at Net-a-Porter.

This is a decidedly refined suit for the iconic supermodel, who has frequently reached for quirkier patterns, like cow print and cherries, this summer. And though she usually opts for body chains to decorate her beachwear, this was a rather minimalist look, accessorized with just a pendant necklace, gold earrings, a stacking ring, and her wet hair left down in messy waves.

Klum posed with her children, standing on top of rocks and gazing down at the ocean. She traveled to Capri to celebrate her anniversary, enjoying a special date night with Kaulitz, for which she sported hip cutout pants. But she is clearly also appreciating time with her family, as she uploaded photos with her children to her feed with plenty of heart emojis filling the captions.

Earlier this summer, Klum supported Kaulitz’s band, Tokio Hotel, at their Berlin performances wearing ripped acid-wash jeans and statement shorts with feather trim from Area. She also rocked a unique Jean Paul Gaultier cutout minidress with a Mona Lisa graphic that upped the ante when it comes to vacation dressing.

  • Gigi and Bella Hadid’s Sister Alana Makes “Exhilarating” Runway Debut at Age 40

Gigi and Bella Hadid’s Sister Alana Makes “Exhilarating” Runway Debut at Age 40

    [ad_1]

There’s another runway model in the Hadid family. 40-year-old fashion designer Alana Hadid, half-sister to Gigi and Bella, made her catwalk debut on Aug. 7, opening for the Saks Potts show during Copenhagen Fashion Week. Wearing an eclectic outfit consisting of a blazer, sequined skirt over jeans, and metallic flip-flops, she walked down the pavement with a confident ease. On Aug. 10, she appeared on the runway again for the Munthe show, modeling a sheer sequin maxi dress and leather black minidress.

Hadid has been in the fashion industry for years — she’s the cofounder of LA-based clothing brand La Detresse — but Copenhagen Fashion Week marked her first experience as a model. Though she may be new to the runway, the skill is clearly in her genes. Gigi, Bella, and younger brother Anwar are, of course, Fashion Week regulars. (The three siblings share the same dad, Mohamed Hadid, with sisters Alana and 42-year-old Marielle.)

“I feel like I’m living my life backwards.”

In an interview with Vogue, Hadid shared that her modeling debut wasn’t actually planned. As a fan of Danish fashion, she was attending Copenhagen Fashion Week as a guest, but once Saks Potts “caught wind” she was coming, the designers asked her to walk in their show. “I was incredibly honored,” she said of the moment. “I’ve loved Saks Potts for a very long time so it was incredibly exhilarating to open for them.”

She also expressed excitement for starting her modeling career at 40 years old, a birthday she just recently celebrated in late July. “I feel like I’m living my life backwards, I love it,” she told the publication. Gigi showed her support for her sister, commenting, “THIS IS 40 bissshhhh” on a video of Alana at the Munthe show.

Before West Duchovny’s breakout role in “Saint X,” her parents were the ones in the spotlight. West, 24, is the daughter of David Duchovny — who’s starred in multiple series, including “The X-Files” and “Californication” — and Téa Leoni, who is also an actor with roles in “A League of Their Own,” “Fraiser,” and more.

David and Leoni were married from 1997 to 2014. During their time together, they welcomed West in 1999 and a son named Kyd Miller Duchovny in 2002. Despite separating, the couple seem to remain on good terms, coming together for special occasions and vacations with both of their kids. Not only that, but West and Kyd appear to have equally strong relationships with both of their parents. In January 2020, West documented an adorable family vacation on Instagram.

In an interview with “On the Red Carpet” in 2023, West opened up about how great it is to have her parents to go to for acting advice. “To have two people who have been in it for so long, to consult with them and to share my fears with them, it’s a blessing,” she shared.

John Legend Dances With Baby Esti on His Shoulders During Family Vacation

    [ad_1]

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are squeezing in one more family vacation before summer comes to an end. On Aug. 5, John Legend shared a video of himself and baby Esti in full vacation mode on Instagram. In the video, his and Teigen’s almost 7-month-old daughter sits on her dad’s shoulders as Legend dances to Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot.”

The dad of four holds on to Esti’s hands to support his daughter as he bops around in tropical swim shorts and white t-shirt. Meanwhile, Esti grins for the camera. Legend captioned his post, “We on vacation.”

While it’s unclear where Legend and Teigen are vacationing just yet, the family appear to be somewhere near a beach, as evidenced by the beach hut behind the “All of Me” singer. On Aug. 3, Legend shared his first snap from the family’s trip, which also featured a shot of him carrying Esti on his shoulders against a backdrop of tropical trees. “Angel on my shoulders,” he wrote.

This summer has been a special for Legend and Teigen. In addition to being their first summer with Esti, they also welcomed their youngest son, Wren, via surrogate in June. Wren and Esti joined their big sister Luna and big brother Miles — both of whom got to spend the night in Barbie’s Malibu Dreamhouse with their parents in July.

Even though she hasn’t celebrated her first birthday yet, this isn’t Esti’s first vacation. The little one previously joined her family on an Italian vacation in April ahead of her little brother’s arrival. At the time, Teigen marveled at how much her life has changed since she and Legend vacationed in Italy during the early days of their relationship. “We were just a couple of crazy child-free kids!” Teigen wrote on Instagram. “We took the water bus everywhere and ran through the alleys, making out like a couple of doofuses in lurve who never would have thought we’d be back with babies of our own! well john probably knew.”

  • Zooey Deschanel Thinks “Elf” Is Still Too “Scary” For Her 2 Kids

Zooey Deschanel Thinks “Elf” Is Still Too “Scary” For Her 2 Kids

    [ad_1]

Zooey Deschanel is the proud mom of two kids, daughter Elsie and son Charlie. Both of Deschanel’s children are from her second marriage to film producer Jacob Pechenik; they married in 2015 and separated in 2019. Both Deschanel and Jacob are pretty private about their kids, and when they do post photos of them online, they usually cover up their faces. But Deschanel, who’s been in a relationship with “Property Brothers” star Jonathan Scott since 2019, did open up about her blended family in a June Instagram post for Father’s Day. She wrote, “As a mom in a co-parenting family I am just so grateful for the dads in mine and my kids’ lives! From Daddy(Jacob), to Bonus Daddy (big-dad jonathan), Papa(Caleb) and Grandpa Jim. We are blessed with amazing father figures.”

Scott also opened up about life with Elsie and Charlie in a May interview with “Entertainment Tonight.” “The kids’ dad is a great dad. We have an amazing relationship there as well,” he said. “I love it when the kids draw photos. They draw Mommy and Daddy and Jonathan. It’s really sweet.”

Ahead, here’s what we know about Elsie and Charlie.

    Elsie Otter Pechenik

Born in July 2015, Elsie Otter Pechenik is the oldest of Deschanel and Jacob’s two children and their only daughter. In an October 2015 interview with “Today,” Deschanel elaborated on her daughter’s unique name pairing. “We just really liked the name Elsie and then we both love otters — they’re very sweet and they’re also smart. They use tools . . . they hold hands while they sleep, there’s so many amazing things about otters. They’re wonderful animals,” she said.

Since her birth, Elsie has pretty much been kept out of the spotlight as her parents don’t share many images of her on social media. Her personality, though, is another story: like many parents, Deschanel seems to enjoy sharing adorable details about her daughter in interviews. In a 2019 People interview, for instance, she revealed that Elsie has already developed her own — sometimes stubborn — sense of fashion.

“She likes to put together outfits and she has very distinct opinions on what she will or will not wear,” she said. “It’s very sweet to see her say, ‘I like this,’ or, ‘I don’t like that,’ and express herself in that way.” The one thing Elsie apparently hates wearing? Outerwear! “She doesn’t ever want to wear jackets,” Deschanel added. “So that’s hard in the rain and when it gets cold . . . she just will not wear a jacket. Or a sweater, she won’t wear a sweater even.”

    Charlie Wolf Pechenik

Charlie Wolf Pechenik, born in May 2017, is Deschanel and Jacob’s youngest child and only son. Charlie’s parents kept up the naming trend, giving him a typical first name and an animal-themed middle name just like his big sister.

Not much is known about Charlie, although he was tangentially involved in a minor mix-up that technically had nothing to do with him. In 2019, “The Hills” star Lauren Conrad named her newborn son Charlie Wolf, leading to accusations of copying Deschanel, since it’s not exactly the most common name. Deschanel, for her part, chalked it up to coincidence.

“That was so weird, right? I don’t think she knew it,” Deschanel commented to Us Weekly that October, although she did add that Charlie Wolf “is a really specific name.” Other than that blip, Charlie’s young life has been pretty low-key, just like his sister’s, and will presumably stay that way until he’s old enough to decide if he wants a public persona for himself.

In November 2022, Deschanel did reveal that her kids are still a little young to enjoy her performance in 2003’s “Elf.” “They still usually only watch animated movies. It was a little scary for them,” she told “Access.” The “New Girl” star said she knows it’s not a “scary” film, but for them, the “suspense of Santa, Santa’s sleigh going down,” was too much.

She also shared that both of her kids are super creative. “My son likes to make up dinosaur movies all the time and make up songs. My daughter does too, they both kind of like to make up stuff,” added Deschanel. But even though she’s part of a famous family, the actor said she’s not sure either will decide to follow in their mom’s footsteps. She explained, “I don’t know if it’s just like childhood creativity. You know, we’ll see.”

  • Margot Robbie Recalls Paying Off Her Mom’s Mortgage With Her Acting Paychecks

Margot Robbie Recalls Paying Off Her Mom’s Mortgage With Her Acting Paychecks

    [ad_1]

“I was like, ‘Mum, don’t even worry about that mortgage anymore. It doesn’t even exist anymore.’”

“Everything I owed my mum, I had it written down. She’d take money out of the house mortgage [to] lend me money. So I always knew, I was like, ‘I’ve gotta pay that back,’” Robbie said. “And then one day, when I made enough money, I just paid that whole mortgage off completely. I was like, ‘Mum, don’t even worry about that mortgage anymore. It doesn’t even exist anymore.’”

After getting her onscreen start as Donna Freedman in the Australian soap opera “Neighbours” in 2008, Robbie began pursuing roles on the big screen. In 2013, she scored her breakout role as Naomi Lapaglia in “The Wolf of Wall Street” opposite Leonardo DiCaprio, a role that likely contributed to helping her mom, Sarie Kessler, financially. “Honestly, anyone in my position, you’d do that for your mum. Of course, you would,” Robbie said of the kind gesture.

In a 2019 interview with Vogue Australia, Kessler recalled the first time Robbie expressed her desire to become an actor. “I really admired the way you set about deciding how your future was going to unfold,” Kessler told Robbie. “I remember the first time you told me you were going to be an actor in grade 12.”

Kessler also revealed that she was initially wary of Robbie’s decision to become an actor, especially because the majority of their family had studied medicine and business. “I was very concerned you were intending to take a pathway that, to me, didn’t have a really extensive future. And now you could say: ‘Mum, you needed more faith in what I can achieve,’” Kessler said. “I’m just absolutely so happy for you that you’re in a situation where you love what you do and you have the independence to do what you do because you guys started up your own company.”

Though Robbie has since paid her mom back for the financial sacrifices she made over the years — and brought her mom as her date to the European premiere of “Barbie” in London — Robbie still keeps the list of expenses as a reminder of her mom’s support and how far she’s come as a result. “I have that piece of paper still,” she said. “I kept it.”

  • Zac Efron Shows Off His Big Brother Skills in Rare Photo With His Baby Siblings

Zac Efron Shows Off His Big Brother Skills in Rare Photo With His Baby Siblings

    [ad_1]

Zac Efron loves reporting for big brother duty. On June 29, the actor threw it back to his “Greatest Showman” days when he took his little sister Olivia, 3, and baby brother, Henry, to Circus Vargas in his family’s hometown of San Luis Obispo, Calif. He captioned his Instagram post, “Showtime,” and added a clown emoji in for good measure.

In the photo, Zac wore a bucket hat with his sunglasses perched on top (no bowl cut in sight). The proud big brother grinned has he held one sibling on each hip. Meanwhile, his little siblings wore matching smiles as their big brother carried them around the circus.

Zac also shared a video from inside the circus on his Instagram Stories. In the video, little Olivia sat on her brother’s lap as they watched an aerial performance. Henry sat with his dad, David Efron, who joined his kids for their day out at the circus. The “High School Musical” actor’s other brother, 31-year-old David Efron, couldn’t join his family for their outing, but he still popped in to comment two red hearts on his big brother’s post.

This isn’t the first time Zac has shared photos of himself hanging out with his little siblings. Despite their age difference, the actor appears to have a special bond with his kid sister and baby brother. On Valentine’s Day, he shared a snap of Olivia sitting next to him and cuddling a stuffed wolf while he read her a bedtime story. He captioned his post, “My valentine.” And in December, he celebrated his sister’s third birthday with a sweet post captioned, “Happy bday lil sis.”

While Zac clearly enjoys hanging out with his younger siblings, they haven’t inspired him to start thinking about becoming a dad just yet. During a 2022 appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” he explained he’s not ready to be a dad. “I have a little bit more growing to do, probably,” he said. “I don’t know. Not yet.”
