Varun tweeted, “Hey guys I know I had recently given an interview where I spoke about my health not being 100 percent. The amount of concern and love that has followed has left me humbled and actually very energized to get back to 100 percent.”
“To everyone who has been concerned, I would like to share I am doing much better with the help of yoga, swimming, physio, and a change in lifestyle. Getting sun is the most important. Above all the blessings of Bhagwan,” tweeted Varun.

While speaking about how situations in life have changed after Covid-19, Varun told India Today, “The minute we opened doors, don’t you think we went back to the same rat race? How many people here can say that they have changed? I see people working even harder! In fact, I started pushing so much harder (with) my film JugJugg Jeeyo, it felt like I was running for an election. I don’t know why, but I put so much pressure on myself.”
He further added, “Recently, I just shut down. I didn’t know what had happened to me. I had this thing called vestibular hypofunction, (where) basically your balance goes off. But I just pushed myself so hard. We are just running in this race, nobody is asking why. I think there is a greater purpose (why) we are all here. I am trying to find mine, and hopefully, people will find theirs.”
On the work front, Dhawan will star next in Nitesh Tiwari’s action film Bawaal opposite Janhvi Kapoor.

Abhishek Bachchan on Cinema Vs OTT debate: ‘We are too obsessed with collections as opposed to content’

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan is soon going to be seen in the lead role in the web series Breathe: Into the Shadows Season 2. In the crime thriller, he will be seen essaying the role of Dr. Avinash Sabharwal. Though he has delivered his role in the film to his best, he opened up on his opinion regarding content on Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms versus those for cinematic viewing.
The 46-year-old actor also highlighted that said streaming platforms have given Indian stories an opportunity to shine on a global stage.

“When OTT platforms came into being, everybody was accessible to anybody at the push of a button. We have a larger audience now and better reach. You can watch shows in every language – be in Indian or foreign,” Bachchan said, as reported by the news agency Press Trust of India.
“There is a huge appetite for Indian storytelling telling. Good content will always work no matter the medium… Fortunately, digital platforms do not put out numbers. It keeps the focus on content. We have become far too obsessed about collections and money as opposed to the content,” Bachchan said at an event in Mumbai, as reported by PTI.
The web series also stars Amit Sadh, Naveen Kasturia, and Saiyami Kher and is directed by Mayank Sharma.

Abhishek Bachchan further opened up on how he felt after working in the series. He, as reported by PTI, said, “It’s a very difficult genre to execute because thriller is a rarity. If you are not emotionally invested, it goes to waste. Mayank has done a great job.”

Several shows of the Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer ran housefull in UP, MP, Bihar, Gujarat and Rajasthan from noon onward while big-city multiplexes were decent throughout the day.

The Ram Setu box office collection day 1 pegs it as the second best opener of 2022, way below Brahmastra, which has collected ₹36 crore nett, but just ahead of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which had collected ₹14.11 crore nett. In fact, in a territory like CI, the film has collected even more than Brahmastra – inconceivable up until yesterday morning. With a huge 5-day weekend for Diwali, the Abhishek Sharma directorial can be expected to put up a very goood first weekend collection and again give the Hindi film industry reason to smile after Brahmastra, but, provided, the word-of-mouth remains good.

A well-placed entertainment news source close to Sunny Deol, has exclusively apprised BollywoodLife with the Apne 2 latest update that’s sure to get all Deol fans buzzing. As per said source’s Apne 2 update, the Dharmednra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol starrer, directed by Anil Sharma, which also sees the inclusion of third-generation Deol, Sunny’s son, Karan Deol to the cast, will go on floors only from early next year as Sunny is currently prepping for some crucial action scenes for Gadar 2 in Manali, and only once he’s done with the Gadar sequel, can things move ahead with the Apne sequel as both him and Anil Sharma are a part of both.

Earlier, Anil Sharma had exclusively opened up on the Apne 2 plot to BollywoodLife, revealing, “This is a kind of film that’ll only be made once because Dharamji (Dharmendra), Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Karan Deol all are in it – it has the entire Deol legacy. It’s the first time I’ll be working with all of them together, so the movie cannot be rushed. It’s going to be a completely different story, it revolves around the same family, but is centred on what happens next in their lives (after the first film).”
