Whether you’re looking for a gift for yourself or the kids in your life, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the year’s best time to score a Lego set or two. Lego is always expensive, but during the holidays, you can get at least 20% off on the same high-quality toys — including kits from popular lines like Star Wars, Harry Potter, Disney, Super Mario, Architecture and more. We’ve spent the month looking for Lego Black Friday deals and posting all the best here, and we’ll keep updating as new bargains go live.

It’s a good idea to use a price tracker to see if you’re getting the best Black Friday Lego deals. You’ll find Lego bargains this holiday season at retailers like Amazon and Walmart, but don’t overlook Lego’s own site. If you join the free Lego Insiders program, you’ll get special discounts and exclusive member gifts with each purchase, plus points you can redeem for your next set or bucket.

We’re also waiting with bated breath for the hottest Lego gift of the season, the Star Trek USS Enterprise set, which was just announced. • Black Friday SSD deals: Take up to $250 off recommended internal and portable SSDs, microSD cards and more

If you’re looking to grab a new SSD for a PC, , gaming handheld or any other gadget, Black Friday is typically a good time to take the plunge. To help you separate the fake discounts from the stuff worth your time, we’ve picked through the many sales going on now and rounded up the best Black Friday SSD deals and other storage discounts we could find below. So far we’re seeing a handful of discounts on well-reviewed , and , but we’ll update this post as we find more offers that are worth calling out.

Best Black Friday microSD card deals

    Samsung

We recommend the Evo Select in our microSD card buying guide for those on a tight budget. It has mediocre write speeds, so it’s not ideal for a camera, but it should be serviceable for most people just looking to add space to an Android tablet or original Nintendo Switch on the cheap. (Note that this is a standard UHS-I card, not an Express one.) This deal matches the lowest price to date for the 512GB variant of the latest model. Also at Samsung and B&H.

    $33 at Amazon

Samsung Pro Plus (1TB, 2-pack) for $136 at Best Buy ($104 off MSRP): The Pro Plus is the runner-up pick in our guide to the best microSD cards. On its own, it’s not worth buying over the faster Lexar Professional Silver Plus when both are available for the same price — which is the case right now — but this bundle deal that packages two 1TB cards together for $68 apiece is much more appealing if you need space for multiple devices. Just add two to your cart or click the “special offers” link on Best Buy’s product page to see the discount at checkout. If you need another card, you can also grab a three-pack for $204. For reference, the previous low for an individual 1TB Pro Plus card is $70.

Lexar Play Pro (256GB) microSD Express card for $49 at Amazon ($11 off): The only reason to buy a super-fast (but pricey) microSD Express card is to expand the storage of a Nintendo Switch 2, which requires the newer format. In our guide to the best Switch 2 microSD cards, we found each model we tested to perform similarly in actual games, so your best bet is to buy whichever one you can find in stock at the lowest price. Nintendo has already announced that Samsung’s 256GB Express card will be available for “$20 off MSRP” on November 30, which should bring it down to $40. If you can wait to pounce on that offer, you should. But if you can’t for some reason, or if that discount quickly sells out, this is only $2 more than the best price we’ve seen for Lexar’s equivalent model.

Samsung P9 Express (512GB) microSD Express Card for $75 at Amazon ($25 off): If you want more space for a Switch 2, the 512GB version of Samsung’s P9 Express card is also on sale for a new low of $75. Full disclosure: Samsung launched this card a couple of weeks ago, and we only just got it in for testing. But given the trend of similar Switch 2 performance we’ve seen with other Express cards thus far, and the fact that this is easily the cheapest 512GB model we can find in stock as of this writing, we figure it’s worth noting. Also at Samsung and B&H.

SanDisk microSD Express Card (256GB) for $60 at Amazon ($8 off): Like the offers above, this discount matches the best price we’ve seen for SanDisk’s 256GB microSD Express card. Again, there isn’t much point in grabbing it as long as cheaper options are in stock, though this is technically the fastest all-around model we’ve tested when it comes to transferring games to and from the Switch 2’s built-in storage. (Within games, however, the difference is still minimal.) We’ll note it here just in case the other Express models completely sell out.

Best Black Friday internal SSD deals

SK Hynix Platinum P51 (1TB) PCIe 5.0 SSD for $110 at Newegg ($60 off): Most people don’t have to pay extra for the top-tier performance of a PCIe 5.0 SSD like the Platinum P51, but if you need something for more intense workloads or just want the comfort of owning a more futureproof SSD, reviews around the web suggest this is one of the better options available. Just make sure you have a compatible motherboard and CPU first. This offer ties the lowest price yet for the 1TB model. Use the code BFEFE96 to get the full discount at checkout.

Image for the small product module

    Crucial

If you need a bit more space from a PCIe 5.0 drive, the Crucial T705 is a slightly older but still highly rated alternative with blazing-fast speeds. This discount comes within $10 of the 2TB version’s all-time low. Also at B&H.

    $160 at Amazon

Crucial T710 (2TB) PCIe 5.0 SSD with heatsink for $190 at Best Buy ($130 off): The T710 is Crucial’s successor to the T705. Most reviews suggest it isn’t a massive leap over the older version in real-world performance, but it’s generally quicker, and it’s a more noticeable improvement in terms of power efficiency. If you’re willing to spend a little bit extra, this is the best price we’ve tracked for the 2TB model with a heatsink, which isn’t 100 percent essential for everyone but helps minimize thermal throttling all the same. It’s usually retailed for $250 in recent months. Also at B&H. If you don’t want the heatsink, the drive alone is on sale for $10 less.

Samsung SSD 9100 Pro (8TB) PCIe 5.0 SSD for $750 at Amazon ($250 off): Yes, we realize this is a ton to spend on a new SSD, but if you’re in the niche that wants a PCIe 5.0 drive with as much capacity as possible, it ties the lowest price we’ve tracked for the 8TB variant of Samsung’s top-end model. Most reviews say that the 9100 Pro is outpaced by the WD Black SN8100 at the enthusiast end of the market, but it’s still competitive, and the 8TB version of that WD drive is priced $250 higher as of this writing. Most other direct rivals, meanwhile, aren’t yet available with this much space. Also at Best Buy.

Crucial P310 (2TB) M.2 2230 SSD for $130 at Amazon ($110 off): The P310 is a small-size SSD you can slot in certain thin and light notebooks or gaming handhelds like the Steam Deck. It uses cheaper QLC memory, not the faster and more durable TLC, but most reviews say it performs well for what it is. This discount is a few bucks above the largest drop to date for the 2TB model, but it’s still about $20 off the drive’s usual street price. Also at B&H.

Best Black Friday portable SSD deals

Crucial X10 (1TB) portable SSD for $85 at Amazon ($13 off): The X10 is a newer iteration of the Crucial X10 Pro, which itself is a variant of the Crucial X9 Pro, the top pick in our guide to the best portable SSDs. It uses the USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface, which few PCs and no Macs support, so most people won’t see a difference between it and more traditional USB 3.2 Gen 2 drives like the X9 Pro. (Pricier USB4 and Thunderbolt models, meanwhile, are much faster and generally easier to utilize.)

If the X10 is on sale for much less than the X9 Pro, however, there’s little reason to not buy it instead. That’s the case as of this writing. Plus, like our top pick, the X10 is rugged, impressively compact and fast enough for most people’s needs, though it doesn’t support hardware-based encryption. This deal is $3 more than the 1TB model’s all-time low but still $15 off its typical going rate. Other capacities are on sale as well, including the extra spacious 8TB model for a new low of $385. Also at Best Buy and B&H.

Seagate Storage Expansion Card for Xbox (2TB) for $200 at Amazon ($30 off): Annoying as it is, the only way to fully add storage to an Xbox Series X or Series S is to use a proprietary expansion card. Only two of those exist, and they’re both expensive compared to traditional SSDs. Still, they’re dead simple to set up, and this Seagate model holds up well compared to the consoles’ internal storage. While this deal for the 2TB version isn’t an all-time low, it’s about $20 off the card’s usual going rate over the last few months. The 4TB variant is also discounted at $380 — that’s a ton to spend on one of these things, but it does match the lowest price we’ve tracked for that particular model. Also at Best Buy and Walmart.

  • Save $900 on Sony’s Best Mirrorless Camera With This Early Black Friday Deal

It’s Too Early for the lame turkey and family jokes that always start Black Friday deals posts, so I’ll just cut to the chase. Sony’s top-of-the-line mirrorless camera, the A7R V, is on sale at the lowest price we’ve ever seen. If you’ve been thinking of updating, now is the time to buy.

The A7R V isn’t our top-pick mirrorless camera, but that’s mainly because at full price it’s expensive relative to the rest of the market. At this price, though, it’s a steal, and while there is no truly best camera for everyone, the A7R V is unquestionably the highest-resolution camera you can buy. And I know, megapixels aren’t everything, but I have never taken an image with this camera and thought, darn, that’s just too many megapixels.

    Courtesy of Sony

The massive 61-megapixel, full-frame sensor in the A7R V is the largest sensor you can get without moving up to a bigger, bulkier medium-format camera. If you want to go totally nuts, get this, landscape photographers: The A7R V can combine 16 shots into a single 240-MP image. It only works with static subjects, but if you ever worried if your images are hi-res enough to cover the side of a building in Times Square, well, you can rest easy with the A7R V.

Yes, the megapixel race is silly and mostly over, but I will say that I’ve shot quite a bit with the A7R C—which uses the same sensor—and images from this 60-MP sensor are noticeable sharper, and the dynamic range is visibly better than what I get from the A7R II (which has a 40-MP sensor). This is obviously the case onscreen, when pixel peeping, but I also notice the difference when I print images.

That the A7R V is $900 off does make you wonder if perhaps the A7R VI is on the horizon? Anything is possible, but I kind of doubt it’s coming imminently. The A7C R, which as noted above, is nearly identical in features, is still not on sale. Furthermore, rumor has it the A7 V (no R) is due before the end of the year, and Sony rarely announces cameras back to back.

What if you don’t want all those megapixels? They do make for huge files, after all (80-120 MB per image in my experience). The Sony A7 IV (9/10, WIRED Recommends, which uses a 33-MP sensor, is on sale for $700 less than usual.

    Sony A7IV Camera Body

    Photograph: Sony

While the sensor has only about half the resolution of the A7R V, it’s plenty sharp and boasts a few video-oriented features you won’t find in the higher-resolution model. It has very nearly the same excellent dynamic range and one of the best autofocus system on the market.

Without getting too deep in the weeds of video technicalities, the A7 IV can record 4K/30p video by oversampling from a 7K sensor region. On the other hand, the A7R V employs what’s known as line-skipping to achieve the same 4K/30p recording. This method of recording results in reduced sharpness and sometimes causes aliasing issues.

  • Black Friday subscription and streaming deals include huge savings on HBO Max, Apple TV+, MasterClass, Rosetta Stone and more

I love locking in a cheap subscription deal during a discount period like Black Friday or Cyber Monday. It always feels like I’ve gotten away with something — for the rest of the year, I can relax in my Scrooge McDuck money pit while all the other losers are paying full price. Just as one example: Black Friday streaming deals on Disney and Hulu are cheaper than ever right now, so take advantage as soon as you can.

On this list, we’ve gathered the top sales of all kinds of subscriptions. We’ve got some of the best VPNs to keep you anonymous online, MasterClass deals to continue your education with thrilling celebrity-led courses, and streaming deals for TV marathons on those long winter nights. Grab your favorites and join me in the money pit (actual swimming not advised).

    Best Black Friday subscription deals

    MasterClass

MasterClass is one of our favorite gift subscriptions. If you often find yourself on the internet without knowing why, MasterClass has hundreds of celebrity-led courses to help you put that time to good use. Each one is split into bite-size videos so you can control how much you study at a time. Highlights right now include creative writing classes from Margaret Atwood, home cooking lessons from Alice Waters and a crash course in battlefield tactics from General Stanley McChrystal.

$90 (50 percent off) at MasterClass

Quicken Simplifi (one year) for $36 (50 percent off): We named Quicken Simplifi the best budgeting app this year largely because it lives up to its name. This is the cleanest budgeting app on the market, with an interface designed to welcome newcomers and no key information more than a scroll away. It’s also cheap, especially with this Black Friday deal, and very good at detecting and categorizing your important transactions.

Monarch Money (one year) for $50 (50 percent off with code MONARCHVIP): Monarch Money, our other favorite budgeting app, is giving new users half off for Black Friday. It’s a little more complex than Quicken Simplifi, but it also gives you finer-grained control, including detailed reporting, balance sheets and instant graphs. The standout goals feature lets you establish savings and wealth baselines that feel amazing when you hit them.

Rosetta Stone Lifetime Unlimited subscription for $149 (60 percent off): Rosetta Stone was pioneering visual language courses back when software still came in boxes, and it’s still one of the best language learning apps. Today, its method works as well as ever, with patient learning based on pictures, terms and recordings. This deal gets you a full lifetime subscription with access to all 25 languages in the library.

Audible (three months) for $3 (80 percent off): For literally $1 per month, you can get access to Audible’s enormous library of published audiobooks, podcasts and Audible Originals (which can be anything from never-before-heard books to live performances). It’s only three months, after which you’ll have to cancel or renew at the regular price, but an audiobibliophile can cram a lot of listening into the 90 days after Black Friday.

Headspace (one year) for $35 (50 percent off): Out of all the meditation apps available, Headspace is our favorite. It doesn’t just help you relax and de-stress, but also teaches you to practice meditation as a skill, with sessions building on each other in organized courses. There’s a massive library of standalone guided meditations with all kinds of instructors, and it’s easy to search for the ones that work best for you. This deal gives you half off a full year.

Calm Premium (one year) for $40 (50 percent off): Once you’ve finished your Headspace meditation, head over to Calm for every other stress-relieving activity you can think of. This packed subscription gives you a huge library of relaxing content, from music and restful soundscapes to its popular “sleep stories” with celebrity narrators telling bedtime stories for children and adults alike. If you’ve ever wanted to be lulled to sleep by Harry Styles, Matthew McConaughey or Idris Elba, this app is for you.

1Password (one year) for $24 (50 percent off): Using a password manager is one of the most important cybersecurity steps you can take right now. 1Password generates strong, unique passwords for every account, then saves them to autofill when you need them. We named it the best password manager in honor of its well-designed user interface and cross-platform compatibility.

LastPass Premium (one year) for $18 (50 percent off): LastPass is another great password manager. We briefly stopped recommending it after a couple of data breaches early last year, but it’s patched up its security and seems to be firing on all cylinders again. Whether it suits you better than 1Password will come down to personal preference, but LastPass’s deal is slightly better this year.

DeleteMe (all services) for 30 percent off with code BFCM30OFF25: DeleteMe scrubs your information from people search sites and other public-facing data brokers, dramatically reducing your online presence. It’s a time-saving and user-friendly automation of a process that can be a real hassle without it. Since using it monthly, we’ve noticed a sharp decrease in the amount of spam emails, texts and calls to our personal addresses.

Adobe Creative Cloud (one year) for $389 (50 percent off): Adobe Creative Cloud is half off for one year right now, coming out to $389 for one year when you pay upfront. (There’s a discounted $35 monthly rate as well, working out to $420 for the year.) Creative Cloud is Adobe’s most comprehensive design package, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere and over 20 other apps. Whip up a website with Dreamweaver, paint on a digital canvas with Fresco or edit photos in Lightroom. It’s a pretty steep cost for an individual, but puts a one-year subscription well within reach of a creative business.

    Best Black Friday streaming deals

Image for the large product module

    HBO Max

HBO Max’s streaming lineup needs no introduction — The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, Sex and the City, The White Lotus and The Last of Us are all in the Max mix, plus dozens more of the shows that helped conjure Peak TV. This deal comes with access to Warner Brothers film hits like Barbie and Dune, plus Discovery’s reality lineup. This one-year subscription is the version with ads, but the savings are massive enough to make that worthwhile.

$36 (72 percent off) at HBO Max

Apple TV+ (6 months) for $36 ($42 off): Apple TV+ has another of the best Black Friday streaming deals this year, offering a six months of access for only $36, which comes out to only $6 per month. The deal is live now for new and returning subscribers. Through December 1, you’ve got a great chance to stream shows like Severance, The Morning Show and For All Mankind for less — just remember the deal only applies if you subscribe directly through Apple and not through a third-party service.

Disney+ and Hulu bundle with ads (one year) for $60 (61 percent off): Disney took its time announcing its Black Friday deal on the newly merging Disney+ and Hulu, but the wait was worth it. This steep discount saves you more than 60 percent over the regular monthly price. Just in time for family gatherings, you’ll have free access to Encanto and Moana 2 for the kids, The Bear and Only Murders in the Building for the adults, and Marvel and Star Wars adventures for everybody.

Paramount+ (2 months) for $6 ($20 off): Paramount+ is doing its Black Friday deal a little differently. Instead of a reasonably cheap long-term plan, you get an incredibly cheap short-term deal — two months for less than a Starbucks run costs these days. That’s more than enough time to binge Yellowjackets, Dexter: Resurrection or Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, along with weeks of NFL games through CBS Sports.

Fubo Pro (first month) for $55 (35 percent off): Fubo is the live TV service that helps sports lovers cut the cord. When you sign up, it asks you your favorite teams, then automatically records every game they play. Fubo Pro includes 249 channels, covering everything from your local NFL and NBA networks to real ESPN8 (The Ocho) content like PowerSports World. There are even plenty of non-sports channels, and with 10 allowed screens per subscription, your whole family can enjoy the selection at once.

Sling TV Orange Day Pass for $1 (80 percent off): Sling TV is one of the best live streaming services, and has one of streaming TV’s most unique deals: a commitment-free day pass that lets you stream whatever you want for 24 hours, including cable channels and exclusive sports. Normally, a day pass costs $5, but this Black Friday deal knocks that all the way down to $1.

Plex (lifetime pass) for $150 (40 percent off): Plex offers personal media servers you can use to organize your digital collection — imagine your own curated Netflix homepage that nothing ever vanishes from. It’s also a streaming platform in its own right, with movies and TV from all genres and eras. Plex did just raise its prices, so now’s your chance to get a lifetime pass for close to what it used to cost.

Walmart+ (one year) for $49 (50 percent off): No, Walmart hasn’t started its own streaming platform, but it would probably have some pretty great drama. What you do get with Walmart+ is free shipping on carts over $35, exclusive deals, drone delivery in some cities and more. And if you did come here for streaming, Walmart+ also comes with your choice of Peacock Premium of Paramount+ Essential (we recommend Peacock Premium because it’s more expensive on its own).

Fox One (two months) for $20 (50 percent off): Fox One is the newest streaming service on this list, launching just this August. It provides access to everything in the Fox catalog, including its sports and entertainment TV. Two months for $20 isn’t quite as good a deal as Paramount+ is giving out, but it may still be a bargain if you’re worried about losing Fox channels from your YouTube TV subscription.

Best VPN deals for Black Friday

Image for the large product module

    Proton

Proton VPN is our pick for the best VPN — a secure, trustworthy app that doesn’t sacrifice features, speed or usability. Although its free plan does come with unlimited data, we recommend upgrading to get the full set of servers and features. With this deal, you’ll get servers in 117 countries; better yet, every one of those we’ve tested so far can unblock Netflix.

$59.76 (75 percent off) at Proton

ExpressVPN Basic (15 months) for $52.39 (73 percent off): ExpressVPN may be the most user-friendly VPN for sale right now, with fast download speeds (only 7 percent losses in our last test), quick connections and apps designed to stay out of your way. It’s not the most feature-rich, but it excels at any bread-and-butter VPN task, staying leak-free and unblocking Netflix everywhere. You also get access to server locations in 105 countries.

Surfshark Starter (27 months) for $53.73 (87 percent off): According to the tests we ran for our latest review, Surfshark is the fastest VPN right now, with its download speeds, upload speeds and latencies all beating out competitors. It has more to offer beyond speed, too, as it’s able to constantly rotate your IP address and generate double VPN paths between any two servers you choose.

NordVPN Basic (27 months) for $80.73 (74 percent off): NordVPN got very positive marks in our last review, where we called out its fast internet speeds, wide network of server locations and selection of exclusive features. It comes with a range of dedicated servers for obfuscation, onion routing, torrenting and more. Plus, it’s one of the first VPNs getting a jump on post-quantum encryption.

CyberGhost VPN (28 months) for $56.84 (84 percent off): CyberGhost is always cheap — in fact, we named it the best budget VPN — but it’s never behaved like an economy option. Its Smart Rules automation controls are the deepest in the industry, and its server network reaches 100 countries. Speeds are also quite good, though connections occasionally take a moment to establish.

Private Internet Access VPN (40 months) for $79.20 (83 percent off): Although we weren’t wholly positive about Private Internet Access (PIA VPN) in our recent review, we can’t deny it’s a worthwhile choice for an affordable VPN. Although speeds can fluctuate, it comes with lots of desirable features on all platforms, like port forwarding (which makes torrents more stable) and two kinds of split tunneling.

  • Metro Offering Free Parking on Black Friday – KXL

All of Metro’s park and boat ramps will be open tomorrow and Friday, but Black Friday will become “Green Friday” at those locations because of free parking.

Hannah Erickson with Metro says what the campaign is all about.

“We offer free parking at all of our park and boat ramps that normally would charge for parking,” Erickson said. “(It’s) an alternative to the Black Friday sales.”

Erickson argues for relaxation instead of chaos during the holiday weekend.

“This is a way to get our in nature that is free and restful,” Erickson said. “You might find that the best present that you can get is presence out in nature.”

Erickson also says that this will not be the only time that Metro will offer free parking, as that promotion happens every third Thursday of the month.

Places with free parking on Black Friday: Oxbow and Blue Lake regional parks, Broughton Beach, M. James Gleason Memorial Boat Ramp and Chinook Landing Marine Park

  • Anker Black Friday deals will save you up to 50 percent on power banks, wireless chargers, power adapters and more

Loads of Anker gear is , and we rounded up the best deals we could find right here. We decided we like Anker so much, it deserves its own roundup. Afterall, the brand makes some of our favorite accessories for keeping phones, tablets and computers charged up and otherwise connected with excellent , , and more. Part of why we love this stuff is the affordability — particularly for what you get — but now these Anker make these buys an even better value. Don’t hesitate to stock up.

Black Friday deals: Anker power banks

Power banks revive dead phones, let you work longer while away from an outlet and allow you to play with your tablet/ereader/gamepad while it charges without being tethered to a wall. After testing out brands from a slew of different makers, our picks just keep coming back to Anker. The mix of value, capacity and clever features make Anker batteries just a little bit better than a lot of the brands out there.

Anker makes the Laptop Power bank, which our reviewer (me) called the culmination of all the best battery features. The brand is also responsible for our top MagSafe battery pick (the MagGo Qi2) thanks to its clever stand, excellent charging speeds and generous capacity. And we think Anker’s Ultra-Slim MagSafe bank is a better deal than Apple’s Air MagSafe battery. Many of the other banks we’ve tested and tried are also on sale for Black Friday, so consider this your opportunity to make sure your phone never goes dead on you again.

Black Friday deals: Anker wireless chargers

A rats nest of cables on your desk is not the loveliest look. Now that phones, earbuds, smartwatches and even ereaders can refill on a charging coil, wireless chargers are a tidy solution. There are options that’ll let you view your phone while it charges, as well as some that will charge three devices at once. We’ve tested units from dozens of brands for our buying guides and keep putting Anker on our lists of winners. The brand makes some of the top picks in both our wireless charger guide and our list of the best multi-device chargers. Now, thanks to Black Friday, you can keep your devices topped off with quality accessories that are an even better value than usual.

Black Friday deals: Anker power adapters

While wireless charging is faster than it’s ever been, cords are still the fastest way to charge your phone. Bigger devices like your laptop will reup faster on a high-wattage brick than on a dinky 20-watt adapter and if you want to keep your outlets more streamlined, go for a multi-port power adapter that will let you charge multiple devices at once. Again, after testing many brands, some of our most reliable picks continue to be from Anker. It shows up three times in our guide to the best fast chargers and we recommend the brand in a number of our accessories guides. Now that Black Friday is here, a number of Anker power adapters are on sale — so we rounded them all up here.

Black Friday deals: Anker Soundcore audio

We mostly think of Anker as a charging accessory brand. But they’ve expanded their scope by getting into audio equipment — and the effort was a success. You might not immediately pick up that these are Anker speakers — Soundcore shows up on the products themselves, but it’s the same company. We recommend a couple Soundcore music makers in our guide to the best Bluetooth speakers. They also make our overall favorite pair of budget earbuds, the Space A40. With Black Friday deals in full effect, these are the best Anker Soundcore deals we could find.

My personal favorite USB-C charging cable is made by Anker. It’s rated at 240 watts, has a durable build, plus it’s six-feet long and has a handy right angled connector at one end. Anker of course also makes plenty of other gear, from webcams to mice — that show up in our guides to the best accessories again and again. Here are the best Black Friday deals on Anker gear that doesn’t quite fit into the categories above.

  • Hulu, Peacock, Prime: Full List of Black Friday Deals 2025 for Streaming Services

As Black Friday approaches, consumers are looking for the best deals on a wide range of products and services, including their favorite streaming subscriptions.

Streaming platforms routinely offer major deals during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday time frame, and this year is no different.

    Why It Matters

Shoppers can save a significant amount of money by timing their subscription purchases around Black Friday.

In previous Black Fridays, Hulu offered subscriptions as low as 99 cents, while Max offered 6 months of streaming for just $2.99 per month.

    Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime has historically offered up to 50 percent off movies and TV shows. There’s also typically a 75 percent discount on a two-month subscription for channels like Paramount+ and MGM+.

    Apple TV+

Apple TV+ is charging $5.99 for six months as part of a Black Friday deal with Prime Video added on. That’s a total savings of $42.

    AMC+

AMC+ is offering several Black Friday deals this year.

If you prefer AMC+ with ads, you can pay $1.75 per month for two months. That’s a significant savings compared to the usual $6.99 monthly price.

Meanwhile, AMC+ Premium is available for $2.50 monthly for two months, down from $9.99 monthly.

    BET+

BET+ will give viewers unlimited access to BET programs for just $1.50 a month during its Black Friday sale.

Some of the top shows to watch on the platform include All the Queen’s Men, Tyler Perry’s Ruthless, Love & Hip-Hop and Basketball Wives.

    Starz

Viewers can pay just $2.75 for a Starz subscription. That’s a 75 percent discount from the typical $10.99 monthly price.

The deal is available temporarily for two months before the price goes back up.

    Hulu

New Hulu subscribers can get the streaming service for just 99 cents monthly for an entire year if they sign up during Black Friday. The regular cost is $9.99, meaning shoppers will save more than $100 over the course of a year.

    Peacock

Last year, Peacock offered new subscribers access to the Premium plan for $1.99 monthly for six months or $19.99 for the first year.

    Paramount

Roku announced that on November 25, the Paramount Plus Essential and Premium plans will be available for $2.99 per month for two months.

    What People Are Saying

Kevin Thompson, finance expert and founder/CEO of 9i Capital Group, previously told Newsweek: “As cord-cutting continues, streaming has become the dominant choice for entertainment, but many are finding it just as costly—if not more—than traditional cable…To save money, consumers should review their streaming subscriptions and compare their total monthly costs to traditional cable. If expenses are higher, it may be time to cut back or consolidate.”

    What Happens Next

Most Black Friday deals disappear after the holiday, so shoppers should act fast to secure the first few months of their subscription at a lower price.

  • MasterClass subscriptions are up to 50 percent off thanks to Black Friday streaming deals

If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to try MasterClass, now’s a great time to sign up. The online learning platform is offering 50 percent off all annual plans for a limited time with its Black Friday sale. With hundreds of classes across topics like cooking, writing and music, it’s one of the best deals we’ve seen from MasterClass this year.

MasterClass has built a reputation as one of the best streaming platforms for learning new skills and creative hobbies. The service features courses led by industry leaders who share practical insights drawn from their own careers. Whether you want to cook with Gordon Ramsay, explore storytelling with Neil Gaiman or study filmmaking with Martin Scorsese, the range of topics is broad enough to appeal to almost any interest.

    MasterClass

Classes are organized into short, easy-to-follow video lessons, making it simple to fit learning into a busy schedule. Each one comes with supplemental materials like downloadable workbooks, assignments or behind-the-scenes notes that add extra depth. New classes are added regularly, so subscribers have a steady flow of fresh content throughout the year.

Subscriptions are structured around annual plans that unlock the full catalog. You can watch classes on most devices, including smartphones, tablets and smart TVs, and your progress syncs across platforms. Offline viewing is supported too, so you can download lessons to study during travel or commutes.

Beyond creative skills, MasterClass has expanded into professional growth and wellness topics, with courses covering leadership, communication and mindfulness. It’s not just about inspiration; the platform’s focus on actionable advice makes it a practical choice for anyone who wants to pick up new skills or refresh existing ones.

Normally, annual plans cost anywhere from $120 to $240 per year, so up to a 50-percent discount represents significant savings for new or returning subscribers. If you’ve been thinking about joining or gifting a membership, this promotion is one of the best times to do it.

There are plenty of other Black Friday streaming deals to consider as well. Here are some of the best ones:

    • Apple TV+ — 6 months for $36: Apple TV+ is offering six months of access for only $36 for Black Friday, which comes out to a discounted price of $6 per month for the six-month period. The deal is live now for new and eligible returning subscribers and runs through December 1, giving you a chance to stream shows like Silo, The Morning Show and For All Mankind for less. The biggest caveat to the deal is that you must subscribe directly through Apple and not through a third-party service.

    • Paramount+ — two months of Essential or Premium for $6: This Black Friday deal brings the monthly price of either Paramount+ tier down to just $6 for two months, or $3 per month. The obvious better deal is on the Premium plan, which typically costs $13 per month.

    • HBO Max — one year for $36: HBO Max’s Black Friday deal gives subscribers one year streaming for $36 through December 1. This Black Friday streaming deal is on the ad-supported option, which normally goes for $11 per month. With this discount, you’re getting it for $3 per month for one year. You can sign up via HBO Max’s website or, if you’re a Prime Video subscriber already, via that service as an add-on.

    • Sling TV Orange — day pass for only $1: Sling TV launched Day Passes earlier this year, giving users one-day access to a variety of its packages. This deal cuts $4 off the normal price of a day pass for Sling Orange. With that, you get unlimited access for 24 hours to Orange’s more than 30 channels that includes ESPN, CNN, TBS and others.

  • The Most Popular Hair Growth Supplement Is 25% Off for Black Friday

All products and services featured are independently chosen by editors. However, StyleCaster may receive a commission on orders placed through its retail links, and the retailer may receive certain auditable data for accounting purposes.

Everyone tells you that you *will* lose your hair about four months postpartum. They will tell you this kindly and sympathetically, over and over again. You will probably ignore them, because you think that can’t happen to you! You had the thickest, most lush hair pre-pregnancy, so there is no way you’ll lost that much hair. They’re lying liars. They’re exaggerating.

But then you’re four months postpartum, and your strands are coming out in clumps. You cry in the shower because you are so tired and you are losing so much hair. You start researching hair growth supplements at three a.m. rocking the baby to sleep. You come across Nutrafol, and it is the most widely-loved hair pill on the market. You start taking it. A few months later, you see baby hairs come back in droves. One year postpartum, your hair is back to its thick ponytailed self.

    Nutrafol (for Women 18-44)

    On Sale 25% off

Is this my story? Yes! Yes, it is. I know ball. People (including myself) do love Nutrafol because it’s one of the only clinically-backed (read this 2018 non-Nutrafol sponsored study here and this 2020 study here) OTC hair growth supplements, and it’s also widely liked by many of the mom groups I’m part of on Facebook (which is saying a lot, because it’s not like these Facebook users get commission).

The only catch is that it’s super expensive, and if you want to see results, you have to be consistent. Which is why buying a few bottles on Black Friday is a smart investment.

    Nutrafol (Pospartum)

    On Sale 25% off

This is the Nutrafol I took starting at around four months postpartum, when my shedding first started. The difference between this and the original formula is that this one is breastfeeding-safe.

    What Makes Nutrafol Work

I think it’s important to preface this by saying that not all hair thinning and shedding is treatable by an OTC supplement. Talk to your doctor! Another important factor is general lifestyle habits: Are you getting enough sleep? Enough water? Enough nutrient-rich food? Are you stressed? Drinking/smoking/doing drugs? There’s no magic pill for $88 a jar, sadly.

But if you’ve tried everything and are generally healthy, give Nutrafol a shot. Its formula is primarily designed to combat chronic and acute stress on the scalp and follicles, inflammation, and oxidative damage.

While I was not-so-patiently waiting for my hair to grow back, I use Nutrafol’s shampoo and conditioner to help give my hair more volume. The formula nourishes the scalp so you don’t experience more hair fall-out, and both the shampoo and conditioner are lightweight, so you get that bouncy feeling post blowout.

Black Friday is the perfect time to try Nutrafol for yourself and see if it works for you. It’s down to $66 a bottle, which is a whole month’s supply.

All products and services featured are independently chosen by editors. However, StyleCaster may receive a commission on orders placed through its retail links, and the retailer may receive certain auditable data for accounting purposes.

What’s fairly standard during Black Friday is for brands to offer sitewide discounts (case in point: Abercrombie & Fitch and Alo Yoga). What’s not super common is to come across brands handing out complimentary things, so I was shocked to discover that Brilliant Earth is literally giving away free diamonds as we speak.

Shop Brilliant Earth’s 2025 Black Friday Sale

Then again, if a brand wants to stand out in the Black Friday chaos, it’s got to do something new or unique. I’ve seen small freebies for beauty brands or free shipping on orders over a certain amount, but never, as a shopping editor, have I seen complimentary diamonds. If you’re as curious as me about this promotion, continue scrolling for the 4-1-1 on Brilliant Earth’s 2025 Black Friday sale and why now is the best time to take the plunge on its beautiful jewelry.

When is Brilliant Earth’s 2025 Black Friday sale?

What’s the Black Friday Diamond Giveaway?

Instead of a sitewide discount for Black Friday, Brilliant Earth is hosting a diamond giveaway in which shoppers can score free 1/2ct. lab diamond stud earrings with purchases over $1,000. If you spend $3,000 or more, you can get the same complimentary diamond studs, plus a lab diamond necklace. There’s also surprise jewelry on orders worth up to $1,000. Regardless of your grand total, remember to enter the promo code, BLACKFRIDAY, at checkout. The diamond giveaway offers up to $700 in free jewelry, so don’t waste any time in getting your online shopping cart to $1,000 or $3,000.

What’s discounted during Brilliant Earth’s 2025 Black Friday sale?

  • How ChatGPT’s New Features Could Make Holiday Shopping Even Easier

Holiday shopping season is upon us, and if you’re stressing about finding gifts for your loved ones, you aren’t alone. In a bid to address that feeling, and to bolster their platform’s standing as a true all-in-one personal assistant, OpenAI has announced new shopping features in ChatGPT.

In an official blog post, OpenAI introduced what it calls “shopping research,” which it describes as “a new experience in ChatGPT that does the research for you to help you find the right products.” In this experience, the company wrote, users will be able to find products by prompting ChatGPT with questions like “help me find a powerful new laptop suitable for gaming under $1000 with a screen that’s over 15 inches” or “I need a gift for my four year old niece who loves art.”

Once you’ve sent a shopping-related prompt to ChatGPT, or chosen shopping research as an option from ChatGPT’s dropdown menu, the platform should ask you some clarifying questions to get a better sense of the exact product you’re looking for. With this additional context, ChatGPT initiates a search across the internet to develop a comprehensive buyers guide. This search can take multiple minutes at a time.

This process is quite similar to deep research, a feature in which ChatGPT thinks hard about how to solve a problem, develops a plan, and then works for extended periods of time. Deep research is mostly used for information and data gathering, but the new shopping mode shows how such features can be pivoted in more commercial directions.

OpenAI says that shopping research utilizes a version of GPT-5 mini that has been customized specifically to excel at shopping tasks. “We trained it to read trusted sites, cite reliable sources, and synthesize information across many sources to produce high-quality product research,” the company wrote.

As ChatGPT searches on your behalf, it may ask additional questions. After I prompted the platform to help me find a toy for my nine-year-old nephew who loves construction, it asked me about my budget, what kinds of construction my nephew is into (trucks? architecture?) and the level of complexity that the toy should have. While searching, the platform asked me to preview a few of the products it had identified, and select a “more like this” option for the ones that most resemble my desired product.

Once ChatGPT was done searching, it delivered a report that reminded me of a New York Times Wirecutter article. Like Wirecutter, the report included an overall top pick (in this case a $50 magnetic tile building set), a scrollable comparison table of similar options, and short blurbs about other products with specific labels like “best mechanical STEM project under $50.”

Of course, AI models still get it wrong sometimes, and OpenAI is quick to caution that “shopping research might make mistakes about product details like price and availability, and we encourage you to visit the merchant site for the most accurate details.”

The company wrote that “hundreds of millions of people” already use ChatGPT to find new products, but the shopping research experience will provide a more dedicated framework when the platform is asked these kinds of questions. OpenAI also said that shopping research “performs especially well in detail-heavy categories like electronics, beauty, home and garden, kitchen and appliances, and sports and outdoor.”

In the future, OpenAI says users will be able to purchase products directly through ChatGPT. One company that’s already signed up for this “instant checkout” feature is Walmart, which in October announced a deal with OpenAI to allow users to shop the iconic retailer directly in ChatGPT. And Target just announced its own ChatGPT-specific app, which can be accessed on the platform by tagging @target in the prompt.
OpenAI says the shopping features are available for all ChatGPT users with an account, so free users can get in on the gift planning, too. If you’re an entrepreneur eager to get your products featured on ChatGPT, make sure that AI agents can access your website by following the company’s allowlisting guidelines.

The final deadline for the 2026 Inc. Regionals Awards is Friday, December 12, at 11:59 p.m. PT. Apply now.

We’ve tested and love quite a bit of Huckberry’s stuff, especially the Proof 72-hour Merino T-shirt. If you buy nothing else this year, buy that. Trust me. Check out the other deals, which we’ve rounded up below.

Great Deals on Our Favorite Travel Clothes

    Proof

    72-Hour Merino T-Shirt

Huckberry’s Proof 72-Hour Merino is our favorite merino wool T-shirt. The cut and style are not overly sporty, making it more versatile than some others, from everyday wear around town to a trip to the gym. Mine is still soft after six months of wear and washing. At 87 percent 150 GSM superfine merino wool (16.5 micron) and 13 percent nylon, this T-shirt makes a great starter for those new to merino wool—there’s enough nylon that it’s stretchy, and not the least bit itchy.

If I could only buy one thing in this guide, this is it. Huckerry’s Flint and Tinder waxed garments are the best jackets. Multiple WIRED editors and writers have the waxed canvas trucker jacket (alas, not currently on sale), and I want basically every other waxed jacket they make, including this one, which is more of a quilted shirt, with 100 percent recycled Primaloft insulation.

I once called these darn near the perfect pants, and several years later, I stand by that. The perfect pants are understated and do not draw attention to the wearer. The perfect pants are made of natural fibers. These are not entirely natural fibers, alas (I did say nearly perfect), but they have enough pockets, and they are roomy pockets. Combined with a roomy (but not baggy cut), the main pockets are deep enough to hold my Fujifilm X70 camera, notebook, Earth’s best pencil—what else do you need? There is a downside, however. These are all inseam 31 inches, regardless of waist size. Sorry tall friends, move along, nothing to see here.

Brown boots with laces sitting in grass

Our favorite zero-drop boot, these Lems are incredibly well made and they have that rugged leather boot look that’s otherwise missing in the barefoot shoe world. The 13-mm sole is somewhat jarring after years in 6-mm sandals, but the toe box is wide, which helps give them a different feel than your typical leather boots. When the snow has been dumping and the thermometer is just a puddle of red well below 0 degrees, these are nice to have.

Deals on Lock-Pick Kits and Other Gear

OK, truth be told, this whole guide is here just so I could link to this. It gets worse. I have not actually tested this thing, but I just bought it. Because seriously, who doesn’t want to learn to pick locks? There seems to be a strong overlap between programming and lock picking, or at least that’s been my experience hanging around a lot of programmers. If you haven’t tried picking locks before, this set has everything you need to teach yourself. There’s a clear padlock so you can see the tumblers and springs as you monkey with them using the tension wrench and four included picks.

    Photograph: Matthew Korfhage

Our favorite buy-it-for-life coffee maker, the Moccamaster KBGV Select is durable, repairable, analog, and built like a tank. It’s a classic exemplar of brewing precision, holding brewing temperatures within a variance of 4 degrees Celsius and extracting coffee within extremely tight parameters. Until recently, about half the SCA-certified coffee makers in the world were just different models of Technivorm Moccamaster. If you obsess over coffee, this is the coffee maker to get.

What if there were a film camera that captured digital images? That’s what the Camp Snap camera is, the screen-free aspect means that, like, film, you don’t know how your images look until later— you can keep photographing without getting pulled out of the moment as much. The Camp Snap can hold up to 2,000 photos on the preinstalled memory card, and it comes with a USB-C cable to download the photos onto your computer. This one is a fun gift to give too.

    Peak Design Everyday bag

    Photograph: Peak Design

The Everyday Backpack is one of our favorite camera bags, but it doesn’t have to be that. It’s really just a nice EDC backpack with some well thought out features, like a tuck-away waist strap, three FlexFold dividers, and a nice strap for attaching it to the handle of your rolling carry-on bag. Peak Design is also having a sale right now, and my all-time favorite tech pouch is $10 off. It pairs nicely with this bag.

  • What Long Island retailers should know about holiday 2025 | Long Island Business News

This year’s holiday spending outlook has improved, with gift budgets up 7 percent since June. Forty-one percent of consumers plan to do most of their shopping between Black Friday and Cyber Monday to take advantage of deals, and artificial intelligence is increasingly shaping the shopping experience.

The findings come from PwC, which has an office in Melville, and were released Tuesday in the firm’s “2025 Holiday Sentiment Survey.”

Earlier this year, “cautious,” “deliberate” and “value” reflected consumer sentiment, according to PwC. But now, shoppers say they “are willing to stretch their budgets, even if it means cutting back in January,” according to the survey.

The survey was conducted between Oct. 28 and Oct. 30 and included 2,092 adults 18 and older within the United States.

Holiday spending varies by generation, and not everyone plans to increase their budgets. The survey found that millennials and Gen X are cutting back while baby boomers and Gen Z plan to spend more, reflecting differing financial priorities.

Millennials are scaling back their expected gift spending to $843, down from $921 in June, with a similar trend among Gen X, whose planned spending fell to $679 from $705. The pullback may reflect parents balancing holiday priorities with rising costs, according to PwC.

In contrast, baby boomers are planning to spend $858, up from $671, and Gen Z plans to spend $622, up from $586. For Gen Z, the increase may reflect higher prices, while older generations may be signaling greater financial stability and a willingness to splurge on children and grandchildren, according to PwC.

What are people buying? Gift cards top the list, according to 50 percent of those surveyed, followed by apparel (39 percent), toys (37 percent) consumable – that is, food and beverages – gifts (34 percent), books and music and movies (30 percent).

This year, 50 percent of those surveyed are paying with cash, which may reflect a desire by consumers to “manage debt, stay on budget or make spending more intentional,” according to PwC. Yet baby boomers and Gen X favor credit cards, but Gen Z prefers debit and mobile payments, with 24% report using Apple or Google Pay.

And shoppers are leaning into AI, using it to check prices, budgeting, generating gift ideas and even writing gift messages or cards. While 38 percent of millennials plan to use AI to find gift ideas, 51 percent say they are using social media for these purposes.

With 47 percent of consumers planning to shop online in search of the best prices, retailers can expect digital channels to play a central role in this year’s holiday season.

Thanksgiving is now just a few days away and the KCRA 3 weather team is expecting little change in the current weather pattern through the holiday.Low clouds and fog will continue to be stubborn for the Valley Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Those making a long drive at elevations below 1,000 feet should expect changing visibility conditions each day. The National Weather Service office in Sacramento has issued another Dense Fog Advisory which will be in effect for the entire Central Valley from midnight to 11 a.m. Tuesday. On Thanksgiving Day, expect morning lows in the upper 40s in the Valley. Because of the low clouds, Valley temperatures will stay in the upper 50s. The Foothills will be around 60 degrees. Sierra temperatures will peak in the upper 50s. Higher altitude clouds will be increasing for the entire region throughout the day. Looking beyond, unsettled weather may return after the holiday—a weather system may bring a chance for light rain and snow showers late Saturday following Thanksgiving. As of Tuesday morning, the forecast models for our region show this system tracking a little farther to our east. If this pattern holds, areas like Tahoe and Sacramento will likely stay dry through the weekend. The KCRA Weather Team continues to keep a close eye on your Turkey Day forecast.
