Earlier, the makers released the trailer of Munjya. In the trailer, Abhay Verma's character becomes possessed by Munjya. While he can perceive Munjya's presence, he is also convincing others that the mischief occurring around him is not his doing, nor is he under the influence of drugs. Mona Singh portrays his mother, while Sharvari Wagh portrays his love interest.
Munjya will showcase India's first CGI (Computer-generated Image) character in a leading role. Featuring Sharvari, Mona Singh, Abhay Verma, and Sathyaraj, the film was directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. It is scheduled for release in theaters on June 7, 2024.

Citadel India: Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan to share lip-lock and intimate scenes?
Amazon Prime Video series Citadel starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden has managed to grab everyone’s attention. It has become one of the most trending series and has kept everyone hooked. The spy thriller series is going to be made in several versions and in the Indian version, we will see Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan playing the leading roles. The Indian spin-off is being directed by The Family Man directors Raj & DK. Now, reports have emerged suggesting that Samantha and Varun will have a few steamy scenes in Citadel India.
A report in a Dinamalar story in Tamil, the actors have reportedly agreed to pull off a steamy scene in Citadel India just like the one done by Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden did in Citadel. There will be a few kissing scenes and some intimate scenes. However, there is no confirmation of the same. Neither the stars nor the makers of the show have made any comments on these reports.
The Indian Chapter of Citadel is expected to premiere at the end of 2023. However, the makers have not shared the release date of the show as yet. It is expected that Citadel Chapter India and Citadel US Chapter may merge and the characters will come together. However, these are just speculations.

Varun Dhawan: ‘There is a dearth of good original content in the Hindi cinema’
2022 has been a special year for Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan as his films Jug Jugg Jeeyo and Bhediya have performed beyond expectations at the box office. The Badlapur actor is now looking forward to signing up for more films in 2023 after delivering two commercially successful films at the box office.
However, with the prevalence of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is a fact that a number of films have been unable to perform well at the box office. Amidst this development, Varun Dhawan has highlighted about the need for good quality content.
Varun Dhawan points out about the dearth of good original content in the Indian cinema
On Friday, several actors and filmmakers including Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar, Pooja Hegde, Anurag Kashyap, Karthik Sivakumar, Srinidhi Shetty, Dulquer Salmaan, and more gathered under one roof for a round table discussion hosted by Galatta Plus.
Speaking on the platform, Varun Dhawan expressed shared why so many films in the regional cinema, barring a few like KGF: Chapter 2 or Kantara, are not performing well. Further, Varun Dhawan mentioned whether remakes of films are performing well at the box office or not.
Dhawan said, “I feel that the narrative which is now there right now….I hate using the word regional cinema,,,whether it is Kannada cinema, Telugu cinema, or Tamil cinema. ….these industries are now seeing so much of limelight.”
“I think it is wrong to say this (that remakes are not performing well) because some of the biggest hits in Hindi (cinema), came ages ago. When my dad was making films in the 90s….all the stories were almost remakes of either Tamil or Telugu films. I mean, we are speaking about it now. But these remakes have always been a hit. Be it Ghajini or films from Malayam cinema ….where is the writing coming from? We are borrowing (stories). We are taking the stories from there.”
“So, what is happening in Hindi cinema right now is that there is a dearth of original stories. There is a dearth of good original stories. We have not empowered our writers and backed them to make original content,” he said.

‘Bhediya’ box office: Varun Dhawan’s latest flick hit by Monday blues; rakes in Rs 3.85 cr
Bhediya box office collection day 4: The Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon-starrer horror comedy Bhediya has been hit by Monday blues as the film collected Rs 3.85 crore on its fourth day at the domestic box office. As per film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film collected a total of Rs 32.40 crore as of Monday.
Adarsh tweeted, “Bhediya should’ve performed better on the crucial Monday to cover lost ground… Needs to stay steady on the remaining weekdays… Lack of major opposition [till Avatar] can prove advantageous…. Friday Rs 7.48 crore, Saturday Rs 9.57 crore, Sunday Rs 11.50 crore, and Monday Rs 3.85 crore. Total: Rs 32.40 crore. India business.”
Collections for the latest Varun Dhawan film also saw a downward trend across major multiplex chains like PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis due to reduced ticket prices. Bhediya minted Rs 1.71 crore from PVR (Rs 82 lakh), INOX (Rs 54 lakh), and Cinepolis (Rs 35 lakh) respectively, according to Adarsh.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film is set in Arunachal Pradesh and focuses on Bhaskar who gets bitten by a wolf in the forest. After this, he starts transforming into a werewolf. Made at a budget of around Rs 60 crore, the film has been backed by Jio Studios and Maddock Films.
The film features Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Abhishek Banerjee, Saurabh Shukla, Deepak Dobriyal, and Paalin Kabak in pivotal roles and has special appearances from Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, and Sharad Kelkar.

Rajkummar Rao returned with another horror-comedy titled Roohi, which promises the right balance of shivers and laughs. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022)
A sequel to the original iconic horror-comedy-thriller with the same name, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is an exciting watch. With me we’re elements of thrill, the movie follows Kartik Aryan and Kiara Advani who cross paths and visit an abandoned, haunted haveli. With ghostly encounters, well-helmed comedy and great acting from the ensemble cast, the film comes pretty close to the original which almost attained cult status. Varun Dhawan reveals his co-stars are happy with their remuneration after Kriti Sanon reveals she charges less
All eyes are on Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon as they are all set for the release of their film Bhediya. Ever since the trailer of this film was released, fans have been eagerly waiting to see it on the big screen. Varun’s never-seen avatar is what is creating a lot of buzz. Well, apart from Varun and Kriti, the film also stars Deepak Dobriyal and Abhishek Banerjee in pivotal roles. The stars are leaving no stone unturned to promote the film and are currently having a blast in Dubai. In a recent interview with Radio Nasha, the stars opened up about the remunerations and saying no to certain projects because of it.

Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon were asked during an interview if they have not got a project after asking for too much money. The actress replied, “too much money is subjective.” She clarified that it is not that she did not get a film, but it was the other way around where she said no to a film because they were not willing to pay her what they felt was enough. She also added that if she loves a film enough that she cannot let go of it. Varun chimes in to say that this is for every actor and that if they love a film so much then the money is never going to be a problem.
Kriti Sanon further spoke that she has done many films for way less than what she charges now but she feels that there are times when one feels like they are not being valued enough or people are trying to arm-twist you then she said that one has to respect themselves. Varun then said, “Yes, then you have to take a stand… it happens at all stages, depends on whom you work with.” When Kriti said this happens more with women, Varun ‘fully agreed’ with her and said, “100 percent. I fully agree with her that it does happen with women, when it comes to remuneration, there is suddenly a problem. That’s occurred. But I know a lot of my female co-stars, who are now much happier with the way remunerations are being given out in films.” When Kriti responded by saying, “That’s also because they are standing up for themselves,” Varun said to her, “They started taking that stand way before you.”

Varun and Kriti’s Bhediya trailer was launched recently and it has got their fans quite excited. Even the songs have been receiving an overwhelming response from the audience. A few days ago, the Badlapur actor said that he is suffering from a rare health condition-Vestibular Hypofunction–wherein the balance system in your inner ear is unable to function properly.
In the latest update on Monday evening, Varun said that he is doing much better than before and thanked his fans and well-wishers for the same.
Varun tweeted, “Hey guys I know I had recently given an interview where I spoke about my health not being 100 percent. The amount of concern and love that has followed has left me humbled and actually very energized to get back to 100 percent.”
“To everyone who has been concerned, I would like to share I am doing much better with the help of yoga, swimming, physio, and a change in lifestyle. Getting sun is the most important. Above all the blessings of Bhagwan,” tweeted Varun.
Varun Dhawan and his battle with Vestibular Hypofunction
While speaking about how situations in life have changed after Covid-19, Varun told India Today, “The minute we opened doors, don’t you think we went back to the same rat race? How many people here can say that they have changed? I see people working even harder! In fact, I started pushing so much harder (with) my film JugJugg Jeeyo, it felt like I was running for an election. I don’t know why, but I put so much pressure on myself.”
He further added, “Recently, I just shut down. I didn’t know what had happened to me. I had this thing called vestibular hypofunction, (where) basically your balance goes off. But I just pushed myself so hard. We are just running in this race, nobody is asking why. I think there is a greater purpose (why) we are all here. I am trying to find mine, and hopefully, people will find theirs.”
On the work front, Dhawan will star next in Nitesh Tiwari’s action film Bawaal opposite Janhvi Kapoor.
