  • I Just Curated My Ultimate Summer Beauty Wardrobe—30 Products That Made My List

I Just Curated My Ultimate Summer Beauty Wardrobe—30 Products That Made My List

Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one Who What Wear team member or friend of the brand will share the top 30 fashion and beauty finds on their current wish list.

As a beauty editor, I spend a lot of time compiling lists of the best skincare, makeup, and hair care products. Whether it’s the best drugstore eye creams or the best designer makeup picks, a large part of my job is to sort, sift, and shuffle through a very saturated selection; the goal is to deliver an edit of top-performing products that require no trial or error to trust.

I bring a similar shrewd sense of judgment to my personal shopping habits. I start by adding every single promising product to my cart. From there, I whittle it down little by little until I have a group of products fit to be purchased.

That’s what I’ve been doing to establish my personal summer beauty edit. While I love summer and everything that comes with it—the swimming, the hiking, the long days spent outside—my hair and skin don’t. After enough time spent in the water, my hair becomes rough and breakage occurs. After enough time spent in the sun, my skin becomes uneven and texture appears. Clearly, I’m in need of effective products that will do all things I need them to without complicating my low-key (AKA lazy) summer vibe. Ahead, see all the products I’m purchasing—including an SPF lip balm, an exfoliating mask, and a vitamin C body serum.

  • I Only Ate Sakara Life Meals for 30 Days—Here Are 7 Things That Happened

I Only Ate Sakara Life Meals for 30 Days—Here Are 7 Things That Happened

Okay, this was a weird one! I’ve never been a super-smelly person, and even though I work out regularly (and sweat quite a bit during), I’d categorize my personal BO as pretty unaggressive and normal. However, I’ve never been able to wear natural deodorants without ruining my clothes (it’s almost as if they made me smell worse), and never in a million years would I have felt like I could go completely without deodorant Matthew McConaughey style. But then, a completely unhinged thing happened once I was a couple of weeks into my Sakara reset—I went to my normal 80-minute long Saturday morning workout class (which occurs in a warm, steamy room in which I produce buckets of sweat) and wait for it—I didn’t smell. Yes, I was sweating profusely, but there was not one iota of scent coming from any pore in my body. Since then, I’ve (finally) been able to wear natural deodorants, and if I forget to apply it’s no biggie.

Interestingly, there has been a long-time debate dating back to the 1940s that chlorophyll can naturally nix body odor (in addition to my three-daily Sakara meals I was also adding the brand’s bright green chlorophyll Detox Water Drops, $39, to my water each day), but according to DuBoise and Tingle, there’s even more to it than that! And, like many of the changes I noticed, it seems to tie back to gut health.

“Body odor can be a symptom of poor gut health,” they told me. “With our nutrition programs, you’re optimizing your gut microbiome and gut environment, which in turn can improve body odor. If you think about where your armpits are on your body, you can guess what’s surrounding them:  lymph! It’s the lymph system’s job to “take out the trash,” so a high-quality diet means there’s less trash to take out, and consequently, less odor.”

DuBoise and Tingle also shared that when we’re stressed, the body secretes an odorless white fluid consisting of water, proteins, and fats, which, once combined with the natural bacteria on our skin, can produce that foul-smelling waste known as BO. Sakara’s nutrition programs, they told me, nourish the gut, remove toxins for the lymph to clear, and take away the stress of not knowing what to eat—all of which could explain the disappearance of any previous smell I had. Fascinating, right?

  • I Built My Career Around Self-Care—16 Products I Swear By (Plus 6 Wellness Tips)

I Built My Career Around Self-Care—16 Products I Swear By (Plus 6 Wellness Tips)

“Wellness as a whole has been a love of mine for as long as I can remember, and I really valued the love and care I showed my mind and body, so that has led to a career surrounding self-care,” Ireland says. For her, that means prioritizing wellness habits, many of which are free. “Protect yourself in the sun, drink water, move your body, take a daily probiotic, avoid picking at your face, and practice daily gratitude,” she advises. “I think when we feel full on the inside, we look even more glowy on the outside.”

How else does Ireland fill herself up? Makeup and skincare. “While I obsess over products, I crave simplicity, which led to my love for finding (and now, creating!) products that are easy and effective,” she says. I approach my own beauty routine in the same way and can’t help but mention that my desert-island skincare product, the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask ($49), is also Ireland’s. “It’s truly the most versatile, ultra-hydrating product that I use in so many different ways. We sell one every two minutes!” To see more of Ireland’s must-have products, keep scrolling.

  • Emilia Clarke on How She Saved Her Hair Post-GOT and The Key To Glowing Skin

Emilia Clarke on How She Saved Her Hair Post-GOT and The Key To Glowing Skin

Are there any red carpet looks you’ve picked up over the years and have you picked up any tips on set?

On set is sort of the time where I would ask what product they were using. But because it’s character makeup, it’s normally how they’re applying it that I’m paying attention to rather than what they’re applying because it’s so specific to the character. For red carpets, my amazing makeup artist Lynsey Alexander taught me that when you’re doing an eyeliner flick with a liquid eyeliner, the way to make it perfect is by using a q-tip more than you’re using the product.

You put on the eyeliner and then, with one of those really thin q-tips, you flick it to how you want it so you don’t have to spend hours trying to perfect it! You can just put that eyeliner on and then get your q-tip and form it to how you want. Your eyeliner flick should look like an extra eyelash. That’s how you open the eyes up!

I did want to ask you about your brows since they’re bold, big, and beautiful. What do you do to them?

I leave them alone but I do get them threaded so I don’t look like Elmo! You know how sometimes you get eyebrow hairs that are down here? I’m not shaping them, but I’m just threading excess and then I brush them and that’s it.

They’re absolutely beautiful and so expressive! Now, if you had to give your younger self some advice, what would you say?

Don’t ever bleach your hair. Oh no! It’s too late. You already did. Also, to always cleanse and moisturize but I always have done that so it’s really tricky. My younger self had as good as an idea about what worked for my skin as I do, but I’ve tried all the different things and now I’m right back to where I started.

  • I Tried the “Supermodel Face Lift” Makeup Technique Taking Over TikTok

I Tried the “Supermodel Face Lift” Makeup Technique Taking Over TikTok

Another day, another makeup technique going viral on TikTok. We’ve seen tons of TikTok makeup trends get popular over the past few years—from dot contouring to underpainting to “I’m cold” makeup—and there’s no indication that TikTok makeup will start slowing down any time soon. The latest makeup trend that keeps popping up on my For You page is called the “supermodel face lift,” and after seeing it consistently gain more and more momentum, I decided it was time I tried it for myself.

Inspired by the lifted look we see on models like Bella Hadid, this makeup trend is all about giving your features an upward illusion. It’s fairly simple to understand—for every product you put on your face, make sure that it’s trending in an upward direction so it doesn’t look like anything is pulling you down. I followed along step by step with a TikTok explaining the trend, and the results are honestly pretty impressive.

  • 7 Editors on the Beauty Products They Want to Deinfluence (and 17 Alternatives)

7 Editors on the Beauty Products They Want to Deinfluence (and 17 Alternatives)

If you’ve scrolled through Instagram or TikTok recently, you’ve probably seen the “deinfluencing” trend. It’s just as it sounds. People who are normally known for sharing recommendations and encouraging their followers to buy products (AKA influencers) are flipping the script by sharing the products they don’t recommend. It’s in an effort to save their followers time and money, and we think that’s pretty cool. After all, the beauty market is incredibly saturated, and it can be difficult to know what products are worth it, and which ones you should leave sitting squarely on the shelf.

So, in the spirit of it all, we thought we’d share our take on the trend. After all, as beauty and fashion editors, it’s literally our job to weed out the best from the rest. Ahead, see the 7 beauty products we want to deinfluence (and 17 alternatives that we think are way better).

    I Spent 5 Days in Monaco With a Carry-On—How I Packed 23 Beauty Non-Negotiables

  • I’m a Plastic Surgeon, and Undetectable Results Are My Forte—10 Products I Love

I’m a Plastic Surgeon, and Undetectable Results Are My Forte—10 Products I Love

The Lineup is a monthly series where we’re giving you an inside peek at the beauty lineups of cool fashion people, editors, makeup artists, hairstylists, and aestheticians—all the people we trust the most. Get ready for a behind-the-scenes look at all the can’t-live-without products that make their worlds go ’round.

From the moment I met Catherine Chang, MD, founder of Privé Beverly Hills and NakedBeauty MD, I knew she was different from so many of the professionals in Los Angeles who specialize in plastic surgery and other cosmetic procedures. Transparently, I went in for some chin filler and to experience the Privé Diamond Facial and was wowed by how much time Chang spent with me explaining my treatments, alternative options, and potential next steps I might want to take in the future to help me achieve my goals when it comes to appearance and aging. Not only is Chang known for her incredibly natural and undetectable results, but her background in art history also gives her an amazing eye and artistic vision when working with her patients.

“My love of beauty started when I was a teenager—I was always intrigued by the symmetry of faces and what makes a face appear ‘attractive,’” Chang explains. “In college, I studied art history, which further enhanced my appreciation of beauty, but I decided to pursue plastic surgery when I was a medical student observing a jaw reconstruction surgery—the jaw bone had been removed due to cancer, and the plastic surgeon took the bone from the leg and carved it into the shape of a jaw and attached the vessels from the bone to the vessels in the face. It was an incredible surgery, and it’s truly what inspired me to pursue a career in plastic surgery.”

25 Strategic Products Beauty Editors Rely On to Get Ready in 5 Minutes or Less

One thing about me is that I am always running out the door. No matter how much time I try to give myself in the mornings, it never seems to cut it—I end up snoozing my alarm or spending too much time in the shower, or my hair won’t cooperate. No matter what it is, it’s a pretty usual occurrence for me to realize that I need to leave my house in five minutes, but I have not even begun to think about my makeup.

Because of my propensity for lateness, I’ve gotten pretty damn good at doing my makeup in the 11th hour. There are certain products I reach for that I can confidently rely on to work their magic in under five minutes. I figured that the other beauty editors on my team might have some tricks up their sleeves as well. (Trust me when I say beauty editors are always running from event to event.) • Ciara Just Told Me She Uses These 6 Key Beauty Products Every Day

Ciara Just Told Me She Uses These 6 Key Beauty Products Every Day

We’re excited to hear all about your partnership with Degree and the new Unlimited by Degree formula! What do you think makes this formula unique, and why do you like using it?

There are so many reasons! One, I think my fans know that I’ve always loved Degree for many years—I’ve been proud to be part of the family. Before we even worked together, I was raving about this product. What’s really cool about the Unlimited by Degree line… I’m going to start with a real fact. It has superior antiperspirant technology. This technology allows the product to really prevent that sweat from breaking out. It’s truly one of a kind. What I loved about working together on this product and this campaign is that Degree is really about celebrating how you move, encouraging people to move, and giving you the confidence you need while you move. They’re also inspiring people and encouraging them to live life without limits.

I really love this campaign, especially because I got to learn a lot in this process and working together. Two out of three Americans experience a heaviness of sweat due to anxiety. When I learned that, I was like, “Wow, two out of three Americans!” That’s kind of crazy to me to know that fact. Because of that, when people experience anxious sweat, your self-confidence is lower. You don’t feel as confident when you have to go to an interview, if you have date night, or [if] you’re gonna go on a date for the first time, right? You don’t feel as confident and secure. I think everyone deserves to live life without limits. That’s been my motto and what I like to live by. I hope that by people learning about this product, it can be game-changing for them like it was for me. This new product has been awesome, so I’m just excited to share with my fans and everyone the goodness of this new product that’s going to change the game for those that do sweat.

I think the most important test would be to use it for a workout. Are you into working out at all? How do you think the formula holds up against its competitors?

Oh, absolutely! Working out is a big part of what I do—whether it’s performing on stage, doing rehearsals, or getting ready for a video or for a photo shoot. I have to be up in the gym! That’s definitely a big part of my everyday routine, and I’ve honestly been pushing myself to work out more. I am really proud of me. I go through my ebbs and flows of training, and sometimes, I kind of spot-train. I train for a show, or I train for a video or a project, but I’m trying to really commit to elevating how I work out on a daily basis. I really love the woman that I’m becoming in this space.

What are your favorite types of workouts?

Right now, I’m really into doing Tabata workouts. It’s really good for your heart rate. Sometimes, when you’re trying to lose weight or really trim up, metabolic training is something that’s really game-changing. You actually don’t have to work as long as you think you need to. In my mind, [I always thought] you needed to be in the gym for like three hours, especially if you’re trying to lose baby weight, and actually, you don’t. If you eat right and have the metabolic workouts, you’ll see great results. Tabata-style workouts and a little bit of weight training in the midst of it for muscular development have been game-changing for me. I’ve been enjoying doing that, and it’s been really fun for me.

How do you typically cope with stress in your daily life? Do you have any other products or practices that help you stay grounded?

My go-to is praying. I love to pray. I will pray multiple times throughout the day, and that brings me peace. Sometimes, I like to just go for a ride on the highway and cruise. It’s the little things for me. Taking a bath can also be relaxing and a good stress reliever. I think it’s important to give yourself the opportunity to just silence things and calm down the world whenever you can. That’s where you’ll find your greatest stress relievers. Then I can also go to Disneyland with my babies. It’s so fun!

  • I Can’t Stop Gushing About These On-Sale Nordstrom Beauty Picks—8 to Buy ASAP

I Can’t Stop Gushing About These On-Sale Nordstrom Beauty Picks—8 to Buy ASAP

Nordstrom’s beauty section is elite, and I say that as a beauty editor who’s semi-obsessed with online shopping. So yeah, I frequent Nordstrom’s website (at least once a week). And even though I love a good online shopping spree, I also try to protect my paycheck and not spend it all in one go on high-priced products. That’s why I always check out the sale section. If I’m lucky, I’ll find an old favorite or discover a new go-to at a discount.

That’s exactly what happened today when I was innocently perusing Nordstrom’s beauty section. I found eight on-sale products that I instantly added to my cart. And because I couldn’t help myself, I also added 10 regularly priced products (but it’s okay because they’re all $40 or less). • These Natural Shampoos and Conditioners Are More Effective Than Less-Clean Faves

These Natural Shampoos and Conditioners Are More Effective Than Less-Clean Faves

When it comes to the words “clean beauty,” it’s tough to define what they truly mean. It becomes especially tricky to navigate when you find shampoos and conditioners labeled as “natural” or “nontoxic.” I think it’s great to aim to buy products without harsh ingredients, but most out there on the market are not made of 100% natural ingredients—there are usually safe synthetics added in to make the formula effective. That’s another thing. A lot of clean shampoos and conditioners have gotten a bad rap over the years for not working as well as those with sulfates or other strong cleansing agents.

Well, I’m here to tell you that’s not true, and I have several celebrity hairstylists to back me up on that. It’s definitely possible to find an effective shampoo and conditioner without harsh cleansing agents, and if this is a concern for you, there are a few ingredients you should keep an eye out for. Avoid sulfates, which are known to strip the hair—especially if you have curls. Curls are already dry by nature, and using sulfates might make your hair even drier or cause damage. You’ll instead want to look for hydrating ingredients like honey and oils like avocado, coconut, and black cumin seed. Most natural shampoos and conditioners also use gentler plant-derived cleansing agents that won’t strip the hair of its essential natural oils or fats.

I asked three celebrity stylists to weigh in on their favorite sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners and included a few of my own favorites for every hair type below.

My Spring Wish List Is Already Out of Control—30 Items I Just Can’t Skip

Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one Who What Wear team member or friend of the brand will share the top 30 fashion and beauty finds on their current wish list.

Some people are really into spring cleaning, but I can definitely say I’m not one of them. Instead of trimming down my arsenal of moisturizers, serums, and gadgets when the time rolls around, I seem to find myself with an even longer wish list of items to add to my rotation. Oops.

I know having a 30-item wish list might seem a tad unrealistic, but I consider these items safe bets to use well into summer and beyond. The weather is also warming up and for me, that means soft, pastel-hued makeup, lots of SPF, and some serious hydration. I also couldn’t resist sprinkling in a few spring fashion staples I’ll be adding to my wardrobe. • TikTok Is in Love With Heatless Curls, so I Tried 3 Popular Techniques

TikTok Is in Love With Heatless Curls, so I Tried 3 Popular Techniques

I might be a millennial, but that doesn’t mean I’m immune to the Gen Z obsession with TikTok. In fact, I scroll through it often…admittedly too often. Still, it’s not a total waste of time. In fact, sometimes it’s the opposite. As a beauty editor, I consider it research. With so many good tips, tricks, and product recommendations going around, it’s actually somewhat productive. For example, I found my new favorite blush thanks to TikTok.

Lately, I’ve been seeing so many TikToks detailing different methods for achieving heatless curls. As more people become concerned with their hair health, it only makes sense they’re turning to heat-free, and thus damage-free, styles. Count me in.

To be fair, I was familiar with heatless curls ever since Who What Wear’s Editorial Director, Kat Collings, tried a heatless hair hack. However, since then, the number of methods has exploded. Truly—there seem to be a million different ways to achieve heatless curls. So as any good beauty editor would do, I scoured the platform to find the three most popular methods, and then I tried them on my own hair. Keep scrolling to see which heatless curl method worked the best (and which one I probably won’t try again).

  • One to Watch: Ariana Greenblatt Is Hollywood’s Otherworldly Darling

One to Watch: Ariana Greenblatt Is Hollywood’s Otherworldly Darling

What was your reaction to seeing the final film for the first time?

It was really exciting because I hadn’t seen anything from the film since two and half years ago when I initially filmed it. So it’s been quite a long time since I’ve revisited the world of 65 and my character. While watching it, I couldn’t help but remember what was going on behind the scenes. I will take myself out of what I’m supposed to be watching and be like, “I remember that day. I fell off the tree or whatever it may be.” I have my embarrassing stories attached to the scenes I’m watching. But it was really cool! It was sweet to see my 13-year-old self with my short hair. Finally seeing the dinosaurs put in and the sound effects and the lighting, it was like whoa! At the moment, I couldn’t picture what it could possibly look like because it’s this ginormous dinosaur that you can’t even fathom what it would look like in real life, so that was definitely cool—to see how they put it together and the details.

Up next, you have the highly anticipated Barbie movie. Can you tell us a little about your role in the film?

Okay, so what I’m going to tell you is what you’ve seen so far is the tiniest little bit that you could ever picture. I’m never on Twitter because it’s a dark hole that I don’t want to go down, but when I was, when the little leaks were coming out, I was just filled with malicious excitement because I was like, “They have no idea what’s going on.” They are coming up with these stories, and it’s like, “You’re cute, but you couldn’t be farther from the truth.” So that’s really exciting. You can expect a lot of fashion moments, a lot of pink, and a lot of Greta Gerwig geniusness. [I] somehow [fit] into the story some way, but I can’t tell you. But you are going to love it, and I feel like it’s going to be such a beautiful and exciting movie that you can watch a thousand times over at sleepovers or wherever, and you are never going to get tired of it. It’s just a really fun, big surprise with a lot of fun people, and I am just so grateful to be a part of it.

Did you play with Barbies when you were younger?

So that was my thing when I first got the whole memo of the project. I was like, “Okay, this is fantastic because Greta Gerwig is writing and directing, and hello, I’m one of her biggest fans.” Margot Robbie, one of her biggest fans. I was like, “Okay!” I had the Barbie Dreamhouse, but I put Monster High dolls in there and put all of these really weird not-Barbie dolls in the house. I just liked the flushing sound effect and the elevator and the fireplace. That was my jam! I liked that I had my own house that I could make little things in, but I never played with Barbies. It was definitely interesting. I was like, “Oh no, I hope not everyone on set is a huge Barbie fan because I’m not.” But it worked out in the end.

You also have the film Borderlands in the pipeline, which is an adaptation of the popular video game. You have Cate Blanchett, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black in this film. Can you tell us about your experience working on it?

What I can tell you with this one is I auditioned for Borderlands in the midst of filming 65. I remember I got home one day and was literally exhausted, and it was midnight. I’m trying to find all of this research on this character—her name is Tiny Tina. Why is her name Tiny Tina? This is wacko. I looked it up and fully indulged myself and was like, “This is kind of lit. I love it.” So then my lovely mother was like, “Okay, I’m going to go.” And I was like, “What?” And she was like, “I have to get something!” She comes back from Walmart (we love Walmart in New Orleans—that was like our second home) … and she has all these little gadgets that she created so I can look kind of like this video game character with the dirt and Band-Aids and all of the above. So it’s the middle of the night, and we’re trying to film this tape, and I was like, “This isn’t working.” But at the end of the day, it completely did because you see the insanity going on in my brain and me just falling apart, and that worked beautifully for the character because she is psychotic.

Working on the film, it was my biggest nervousness dream come true—starstruck, everything. …  From the age of 6 when people would ask, “Who is your dream person to work with?” you are going to expect [my answer to be] like Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, whatever, but my go-to answer was Kevin Hart every single time without fail. I wanted to work with Kevin Hart my entire life. So obviously when I heard he was a part of it, I was like, “I can’t. I can’t do it. I can’t meet him.” And then I go, and I’m meeting everyone, and they are all so lovely. I fell in love with everyone on set. Working with Jamie… First of all, let’s cover her beautiful soul. She is indescribable because she is just this caring, loving, sweet, professional, adoring person. She takes pictures every day. She’ll be like, “Don’t move. I’m making a black-and-white. I’ll edit it and send to you later.” She has endless amounts of stories. I mean, she is literally an icon.

And then Cate Blanchett. I really admire her. She always came to set looking fabulous, and she has the best personality. When we filmed reshoots a couple of weeks ago, we saw each other for the first time in a few years, and we bonded so much more, I think, because she finally feels more comfortable telling her dirty jokes. She told me, “I couldn’t say this stuff when you were 13.” So we definitely were able to banter back and forth a lot more. The whole cast weirdly and perfectly meshed together. And it’s such a weird group to put in one place and be like, “Okay, go crazy with these characters.” Florian Munteanu, who plays Krieg, is like my best friend even though he’s 32 and a boxer from Romania. He couldn’t be more like me!

You are only 15 and already have a very impressive acting résumé. Who are the women and/or careers you look up to in this business?

I love this question, and I spent a lot of time writing the people down because I don’t want to miss one person. … Trust me—I have many. I look up to Natalie Portman because she is fantastic. I look up to Saoirse Ronan. I would love to work with her. I think she is brilliant, and she is also in the family of Greta. Mia Goth, especially recently. She has blown everyone away and has created her own definition of camp and chaos. I’m obsessed with what she’s done. Anya Taylor-Joy—sick, cool. The Menu was dope. I would love to work with Zoe Saldaña. Although, I played a younger version of her, so it seems like I have, but I didn’t play one-on-one with her, and I think she is incredible.

I want to work with Winona Ryder because I recently watched Girl, Interrupted. I’m very late, I know, but I watched it, and it’s one of my favorite movies now. There are just so many people who I’ve looked up to for years, even behind the scenes—writers, directors, costume designers—because everyone plays such a huge role and part, and it can break or make the movie. I just have a big dream list in my brain, and whenever there is a full moon, I just say a name and say, “Alright, universe, line it up for me!”

Cleopatra Coleman Discovered This $20 Moisturizer On Set and Never Looked Back

I’m a huge fan of baths too. Do you have a favorite cleanser that you like using?

It’s by Musely. They prescribed me a cleanser that’s super gentle. I would I would say that it’s similar to Cetaphil or something like that. Before that, I was using IS Clinical’s Cleansing Complex. Their gentle cleanser is really good too.

How do you like to stay grounded with a busy schedule? Do you have any beauty practices or rituals that you like to do during the day that help?

I like to meditate a lot. Because I grew up in nature, I don’t really feel quite right unless I’m out walking among the trees daily. My dog really helps a lot—he keeps me very grounded. Also just not looking in the mirror, you know? Obviously sometimes with my job—I don’t agree with this—but it can be a lot about what’s on the outside and how you look. I just try to steer clear of that as much as I can, particularly in this day and age when everyone’s so obsessed with themselves and how they appear. I’m more about inner beauty and how I feel. Focusing on that has been the best thing for me. Also, I work out a lot. That has really helped my sanity. If I don’t, I don’t feel right. I’m like addicted to it, I love it!

What kind of workouts do you like doing?

I have a trainer because I’ve learned if I don’t have someone waiting for me, I might not show up [laughs].  I learned that a few years ago because I was a dancer, exercise was never a thing I had to focus on, it was just a byproduct of what I did. I had to really re-frame it. I realized I can’t really be trusted and I was going to need someone to keep me accountable. We do all kinds of training, we use TRX bands and a lot of low impact things. We don’t use weights too much just to keep my joints healthy and also so I have a regiment that I can travel with. I have a rope, a mat, and a ball I can deflate and put in a suitcase.

Do you still like to dance?

I don’t do classes, but I definitely danced in my living room this morning! [Laughs].

If you could only choose one beauty product to use for the rest of your life, which one would it be?

Probably coconut oil because it’s so versatile. It has anti-microbial effects and you can use it on your hair, your skin, and even your teeth. You can also eat it!

Are there any other new projects in the works that you can share a little bit about with us?

It’s been a really busy couple of years and now I’m taking a little break. I just wrapped a series called Sterling, which is a mini series for FX. It’s about the Clippers organization and a big scandal that took place about 10 years ago and I’m playing someone that’s very central to the scandal named V. Stiviano. That’s been incredible and I can’t wait for people to see that. Before that, I was on Zack Snyder’s sci-fi epic Rebel Moon, which comes out December 23 on Netflix, and I’m really really excited for people to see that one. It was probably the biggest thing I’ve ever been a part of in terms of budget, but also just in scale—it’s a lot of characters. It’s just such a big, epic story—a real sci-fi fantasy, which again, going back to sci-fi, it lends itself to all kinds of things and Zach was really great to work with along with the other actors and I’m excited for people to get to know my character.
