  • Kit Harington and Rose Leslie Welcome Second Child

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie Welcome Second Child

    [ad_1]

House Harington has gained a new member.

Game of Thrones actors Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, both 36, have welcomed their second child, a rep confirmed to People. They are “delighted to have welcomed a little girl into the family,” according to the rep.

They didn’t share any more information, such as the baby’s name or when she arrived, which is par for the course for the couple, who have kept their private life private. They have a 2-year-old son, whose name they’ve also kept to themselves. The two married in 2018, surrounded by their Game of Thrones co-stars. In 2019, Harington checked himself into rehab to address alcoholism and depression, including suicidal thoughts, and since then has called himself “a very, very happy, content, sober man.”

On the red carpet for his show Extrapolations in March, Harington joked to Entertainment Tonight that his son was “about to get the shock of his life” with the arrival of his new sibling. Winter is coming, kid, and so is this baby.

  • Daniel Radcliffe Reveals Sex Of First Baby With Erin Darke

Daniel Radcliffe Reveals Sex Of First Baby With Erin Darke

    [ad_1]

    By Mona Khalifeh‍, ETOnline.com.

Daniel Radcliffe is a proud dad to… a baby boy!

Radcliffe and his girlfriend, Erin Darke, welcomed the little one — their first child together — back in April but had yet to reveal the sex of their baby until now. While speaking to ET’s Denny Directo ahead of the season 4 premiere of Radcliffe’s TBS series, “Miracle Workers”, the “Harry Potter” alum gushed over life as a new dad.

“It’s great. It’s crazy and intense, but he’s wonderful and Erin is amazing — it’s a real privilege also to have this time with him,” Radcliffe gushed. “I was always going to take some time off, which not everyone is able to do, and so I’m able to kind of just be here with him a lot, which is lovely.”

He added, “So, we’re having a great time.”

While their baby boy is only a few months old, Radcliffe said the newborn will be a factor in the projects he takes going forward.

“I think it certainly will. It hasn’t really yet affected things, but I really like spending time with him, and I think I’m gonna miss him when I go back to work later in the year,” Radcliffe shared. “So, I will definitely be I think a bit more selective — not more selective, I’ve always been selective, but I think I’ll probably work a little bit less for the next few years.”

“I’ll never be stopping. I don’t think that’s good for me either,” he continued.

As for his current project, “Miracle Workers”, Radcliffe said the best part about participating in the anthology series is “awesome.”

“It’s one of the reasons I wanted to do the show to begin with,” Radcliffe said. “It was always intended to be this anthology series where we once we had blazed by the source material in the first season, we just like jumped around and did different comedy stuff in different settings every year.”

He continued of the comedy, which this season takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, “It’s the joy of it, is [that] you get to come back and do something different each time, and see what everyone else is doing that’s new and wonderful and crazy. And so this season was very, very good for that, as everyone’s doing I think very, very different stuff.”

“Miracle Workers: End Times” premieres July 10 on TBS.

  • Adrian Grenier Adds a Baby to His Entourage

Adrian Grenier Adds a Baby to His Entourage

    [ad_1]

Here’s hoping that Turtle follows the Car Seat Lady and gets some tips on how to install the most tricked-out five-point restraint on the market, because Vinny had a baby.

Adrian Grenier and wife Jordan Roemmele Grenier announced the birth of their first child, Seiko Aurelius Grenier, in a joint Instagram post Thursday.

The couple said in the caption that they “want to make sure to give our baby an easeful transition from spirit world to this one.”

“All rejoice this gift to the world, Seiko Aurelius Grenier, our exquisite golden one, welcome earth side!”

Little Seiko, who shares a name with a luxury timepiece brand (“seiko” means “success” or “exquisite” in Japanese, which the new parents acknowledged by calling him “our exquisite golden one” in the caption), is something of a surprise drop for the public: The couple never publicly shared that they were expecting a baby. It’s kind of their thing, you might say—they announced just under a year ago, last June, that they’d eloped in Mexico

Other than his full name, the Greniers revealed very little about their new addition in the post. Date of birth: “A few weeks ago.” Vibes: Pretty good, it seems, if “we couldn’t be more blissed out” is anything to go by. The parenting plan: “We are cultivating our world now to preserve his innocence, his magic, and to leave enough quiet space to hear and encourage his roar.”

Jordan shared a second Instagram post with a gallery of maternity photos that dropped another little tidbit of info, that Seiko took his sweet time in being born. (Sorry, “transitioning from the spirit world to this one,” to use the Greniers’ preferred phrasing.) She mentioned that she was 7.5 months pregnant in the photos, but “fast forward to 42 weeks I’m pretty sure I doubled in size.”

A few weeks ago, Adrian marked Mother’s Day with a post that, in retrospect, has big “wow, pregnancy and/or childbirth are extremely metal and I am terrified and in awe of it after witnessing it up close” vibes.

“Been doing a lot of reflecting recently on a mom’s unmatched ability to give life,” he wrote in the caption of a post, a gallery of photos of himself and his own mother. “It’s a big something that we don’t acknowledge and revere enough in society – like, truly take the time and energy to hold up mothers on high for creating life itself! I for one am only now beginning to realize the cosmic-magic at work; the spiritual creativity that only a mother can manifest. I wonder why it wasn’t made clear to me by the world.”

Only time will tell what role Seiko may have in the extended Entourage Cinematic Universe

  • New Dad Robert De Niro Celebrates His Other Baby, the Tribeca Film Festival

New Dad Robert De Niro Celebrates His Other Baby, the Tribeca Film Festival

    [ad_1]

Robert De Niro, the 79-year-old screen legend, founder of the Tribeca Film Festival, and new dad (mazel!) of baby No. 7 with girlfriend Tiffany Chenarrived at the kick-off of the festival Wednesday night for the premiere of Kiss the Future, this year’s opening selection.

De Niro and Chen walked the red carpet hand-in-hand before taking in the documentary, which was produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon

Chen wore a black dress, an oversized beige cardigan, aviator sunglasses, and heels, while De Niro went with the classic “off-duty dad” ensemble of a polo and blazer with dark slacks. Unlike Chen, he opted for flats.

The baby everyone’s buzzing about, Gia Virginia Chen De Niro, was born two months ago on April 6, but the world was made aware of her last month when De Niro corrected an interviewer who called him a dad of six. “Seven, actually,” he said. Pardon? “I just had a baby.” There’s a 51-year age gap between Gia and De Niro’s eldest child, Drina, whom De Niro adopted in 1976 with his ex-wife Diahnne Abbott.

Chen and De Niro were first seen out and about together in August 2021. Chen is a martial arts instructor, and also had a role in De Niro’s 2015 film The Intern, co-starring Anne Hathaway

Earlier Wednesday, New York City Mayor Eric Adams presented De Niro with a key to the city in thanks for his activism and support of the arts. Typically, keys are a choking hazard for babies and young kids, but this one’s mounted on a plaque, so baby-proofing fanatics can breathe easy.

  • Mother Charged 4 Years After Abandoned Baby Was Found Alive In Plastic Bag

Mother Charged 4 Years After Abandoned Baby Was Found Alive In Plastic Bag

    [ad_1]

Karima Jiwani, whose newborn baby was discovered abandoned but alive in a plastic bag in 2019, was charged Thursday in Georgia with attempt to commit murder.

At a press conference Friday, Forsyth County Sheriff Ron Freeman detailed how the woman came to be put under arrest four years after her daughter, dubbed “Baby India,” was saved from the woods in a case that made national headlines.

India’s umbilical cord was reportedly still attached on the June night when she was rescued by authorities, who responded to a 911 call from a family who said they heard crying.

“This child was tied up in a plastic bag and thrown into the woods like a bag of trash,” Freeman said during the press conference. “It literally is one of the saddest things I have ever seen.”

The county sheriff’s office had released harrowing body camera footage of the moment she was saved, but India’s identity remained unknown for years. Investigators made a breakthrough about 10 months ago, however, when they found her father via DNA testing.

Jiwani, 40, has now been identified as the girl’s biological mother. Authorities have no reason to believe India’s father was aware of the pregnancy or any plans to abandon her, Freeman said. Jiwani has been held without bond at a local jail, and her first court appearance was scheduled for Saturday.

In addition to one count of attempt to commit murder, Jiwani faces additional charges: cruelty to children in the first degree, aggravated assault, and reckless abandonment.

“Four years ago, I said in this room, and I told you, we will bring this person to justice,” Freeman said. “Little did I know it was going to take four years.”

Citing conversations with family and medical workers, Freeman alleged that Jiwani had a “history of hidden and concealed pregnancies and surprise births,” adding that she “went to extremes to conceal this pregnancy” with India.

Freeman didn’t suggest any potential motive during the press conference, but he said India was likely born in a car and driven around for a “significant period of time” before being put in the woods.

According to the National Safe Haven Alliance, which promotes laws giving immunity to parents who anonymously surrender their unharmed children to designated providers within certain time frames, 31 babies were discarded in dumpsters and other dangerous locations in 2021.

Watch footage of India’s rescue from 2019. (This video contains graphic scenes and may be disturbing to some readers.)

During the press conference, Freeman added that the sheriff’s office found other children at Jiwani’s residence at the time of her arrest, and it has contacted the state’s Division of Family and Children Services for further action.

Though he did not go into detail about India’s current status, Freeman assured reporters that she is now “prospering.”

  • Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s Baby Name Is Finally Revealed

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s Baby Name Is Finally Revealed

    [ad_1]

Nearly a year after his birth, the name of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s first child has finally been revealed. RZA Athelston Mayers will celebrate his first birthday on May 13 and has definitely had a cooler life in these first 363 days than most of us ever will.

The Daily Mail obtained a copy of little RZA’s birth certificate, which not only shows that the world’s coolest baby is named after Wu-Tang Clan member RZA and his dad, who also has the middle name Athelston, but that he’s a Taurus with Leo rising. It seems only fitting that cosmically speaking, this kid is destined to be ambitious and hardworking, but the magnetic center of attention in any room that he’s in.

Little RZA’s name appears to be following a paternal family tradition: Rocky’s legal first name is Rakim, in honor of the rapper Rakim. In 2019, Rakim told Hot 97 about signing a baby Rocky’s diaper in Harlem after his mom spotted Rakim and told him the baby’s name. “I remember that day because that’s the first time I remember hearing somebody naming their son after me,” he said.

Fans had previously speculated that Rihanna and Rocky’s son, last spotted hanging out with his parents before their fashionably (very) late entrance to the Met Gala in New York City earlier this month, was named Noah. Not quite!

RZA’s birth name is Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, and his legacy is impressive: Beyond producing most of the Wu-Tang Clan’s records, he’s director of the martial arts movie The Man with the Iron Fists, deliverer of a legendary diss on pharma bro Martin Shkreli, composer of ice cream truck jingles for the modern era, and patron saint of Staten Island, with a boozy movie theater as his temple, among other accomplishments.

While Rih and Rocky haven’t revealed when their second child (who, as a reminder, has already been to the Oscars, Super Bowl, and Met Gala in utero, with the Super Bowl serving as the pregnancy reveal) is due, we’ll have to wait and see if they continue the namesake trend. Check back in, oh, two to three years for Kid 2’s name.

Vanity Fair reached out to representatives for Rihanna and RZA (the elder, not the baby) for comment.

Heather Rae El Moussa Shares Sweet New Pics of Son And Details About ‘Mom Life’

    [ad_1]

Heather Rae El Moussa is living in mommy bliss! On Sunday, the “Selling Sunset” star took to Instagram to share a sweet new picture of her and Tarek El Moussa‘s baby boy, Tristan.

“New to the El Moussa crew 🥺🤍🤍 Mom life is staring at him non stop because I can’t get enough,” she wrote. “The moment I held him in my arms he became my world. I’m thinking about sharing some things like my breastfeeding experience and how Tay and Bray have been with him so let me know if that’s something you guys want to hear or if there’s anything else 🥰.”

Next to the caption was a series of pictures featuring Tristan asleep in a bassinet and rocking a onesie that reads, “New to the El Moussa Crew.”

Tristan, who was born on Jan. 31, joins his older siblings Taylor, 12, and Brayden, 7, whom Tarek shares with ex-wife, Christina Hall.

Last week, the proud parents announced their son’s name and shared the inspiration behind it.

“We’d like to introduce Tristan Jay El Moussa to the world 🤍 6:55am 1-31-23 7lbs 7oz. Tristan was the name that Tarek was supposed to have, Jay is my dads middle name & 4 generations of Jay,” Heather wrote alongside a post of her, Tristan and Tarek in the hospital — following his birth.

Heather also revealed that they had “some scary moments leading up to Tristan entering the world.”

Heather said that she was four days past her due date at a doctor’s appointment when she was “rushed” to the hospital after their son’s movements in the womb had slowed down. Once she arrived at the hospital, Heather had to have medical interventions to help labour along.

“It all happened really fast. Tristan’s heart rate was dropping very low every time I’d push and was staying low. Which was terrifying,” Heather wrote. “My doctor told me that we had to get him out right away. I had four more pushes and to give it my all and she was going to use a vacuum to help get him out fast or otherwise we would have to do an emergency C-section.”

Heather noted that Tarek was by her side, talking her through the entire delivery.

  • Having “Young Kids…Just Ruins the Relationship”: Gwyneth Paltrow Jokes About the Challenge of Having Babies

Having “Young Kids…Just Ruins the Relationship”: Gwyneth Paltrow Jokes About the Challenge of Having Babies

    [ad_1]

Gwyneth Paltrow and Katy Perry, two women-about-town, got together to chat, and we can all eavesdrop on their conversation right here on The Goop Podcast.

What were those two old so-and-sos talking about? Kids, mostly! They both have them. Perry is raising her toddler, Daisy, with her partner, Orlando Bloom. Bloom also has a son, Flynn, with Miranda Kerr. Paltrow has Apple, 18, and Moses, 16, with her ex-husband, Chris Martin, plus two teenage children from her husband Brad Falchuk’s previous marriage. Martin and Paltrow’s divorce was finalized in 2016, two years after she wrote her famous “conscious uncoupling” treatise.

“It’s hard on a relationship,” Paltrow said. “Like, I’ve looked back now on, like, the data set of parents with young kids, [and] it just ruins the relationship…It’s really hard!”

Perry, who is in the middle of it, was quick to say that it’s not impossible to have both a healthy relationship and a baby. “I think if both of the people in the relationship are willing to do the work, then it’s going to be so much easier,” Perry said. “If one person thinks that they don’t have any work to do, then it’s going to be really challenging.”

Paltrow added a lovely and oddly sad sentiment: “I never felt lonely again after I had [Apple], and I had felt profoundly lonely in my life.”

Listen, is this revelatory material? No. It’s a truth universally acknowledged that raising a helpless, weeping puddle of bones is hard, and having a partner who can coparent in a big—even equitable—way is only more helpful for all involved.

What’s so great about Paltrow’s sound bite is that it’s such a perfectly Gwyneth Paltrow thing to say: funny, straightforward, a little provocative, potentially revealing a reality that her partner in conversation is not ready to acknowledge yet, and about a problem that one would think could be solved with the right bank account. That is, you’d think nannies, night nurses, and all the best relationship-saving baby widgets would have been at her and Martin’s disposal all those years ago.

Here, too, the stars are just like us. They have children! They struggle! They get divorced! They occasionally ironically unironically bemoan their children on their podcasts!

Jhené Aiko and Big Sean have welcomed a sweet baby boy together.

The longtime couple announced their son’s birth on Instagram Friday. The newborn, named Noah Hasani, arrived on Nov. 8.

“After 24 hours of labor, a total lunar eclipse, and while it was pouring rain… he came,” Aiko wrote in the post’s caption. “My baby Yoda, my Sani.”

The singer shared a slideshow of photos capturing moments before and after the baby’s arrival. In the last photo, Aiko can be seen snuggling next to Noah.

Aiko is also mom to her 14-year-old daughter Namiko Love, whom she shares with singer O’Ryan Browner.

Big Sean also celebrated Noah’s arrival with a series of photos he posted on Instagram. In one photo, the Detroit rapper can be seen sharing a skin-to-skin moment with the baby.

“Any and everything for you, Son,” he wrote in the post’s caption.

Jhené Aiko and Big Sean are now parents to a baby boy named Noah Hasani. He was born on Nov. 8.

The couple made their relationship public in 2016, following years of rumors that they were romantically involved. In July, they posted photos on Instagram of them posing together for a nude maternity shoot.

The “Chilombo” singer shared photos and a video from their baby shower on Instagram in October. She called the celebration a “perfect day.”

Laughing Face Launches Organic Laundry Solutions for Babies and Pregnant Women

Shoebox-sized washer washes and sanitizes women’s panties or babies’ cloth diapers in 25 minutes — more hygienic, less detergent

    Press Release

    updated: May 12, 2017

The China and Canada joint tech company Laughing Face has developed a low-pressure washing technology that consumes less water, energy and detergent, and features a powerful disinfection process.

The company has launched their first product LaughingU, a shoebox-sized washing machine that washes and sanitizes women’s panties or babies’ cloth diapers in 25 minutes.

Ensure Underwear Hygiene for Women during Pregnancy

Traditional laundry equipment cannot kill most viruses and bacteria on the underwear, and it could cause yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis, even urinary tract infections (UTI). For women during pregnancy, the infections may cause early delivery (preterm birth) or even miscarriage. Clean panties are essential for every woman, especially during pregnancy.

    Organic Approach for Babies’ Laundry

For families with infants and toddlers, washing the cloth diapers or toddlers’ underwear is painful. LaughingU solves the problem, with a healthier solution. Their low-pressure washing technology only requires half the amount of detergent that normally is required by a traditional washing machine. In some cases, it does not even require detergent at all. It is an organic approach to washing kids’ underwear, and organic is good for kids’ sensitive skin.

How does the Low Pressure Washing Technology Work?

The machine creates a low-pressure environment in the washing chamber, and the water in the chamber boils at a very low temperature, continuously creating boiling bubbles to break the stains on the cloth. With the low-pressure washing technology, only a little or even zero detergent will be required. The solution saves consumers who have sensitive skins, and in the long run (when deployed by regular washing machines), saves our rivers and lakes from pollution (eutrophication).

The company is offering a discounted price for pre-orders, and the machine will be shipped within North America in August 2017.
