2023 Horoscope: What Astrologers Predict For The Year Ahead

    [ad_1]

Given all of this, Isis was the obvious choice for our 2023 horoscope book “cover model.” As the goddess of resurrection, transformation, loyalty, and magic, she represents so many themes of 2023. Using her glorious wings, Isis flew to the underworld to deliver fresh air to her husband Osiris. (Who was also her brother…hey, it’s mythology.)

We depicted Isis wearing the crown of Hathor, who is the goddess of pleasure, fertility, love, and motherhood. With its cow horns and sun disc, Hathor’s crown represents abundance and the cosmos.

With her ability to dive into the shadows and call in the light of the sun, Isis has range. And that’s something we could all use this year when the question of “What If…?” invites us to stretch into higher human potential without ignoring the fires burning at our feet.

As an ancient Egyptian proverb tells us, “To have peace there must be strife; both are part of the structure of the world and requirements.” While 2023 may deliver both, it is also time for a restructuring

Our hope is that the 2023 Horoscope will meet you with serendipity as you go through moments of your yearlong journey, whether you’re seeking inspiration, comfort, or a deeper understanding of what loved ones are going through.

And with that, let us sign off as the ancient Egyptians did, with an em hotep, which means “in peace.”

  • Astrological Do’s & Don’ts To Ensure A Happy New Year’s Eve

    Astrological Do’s & Don’ts To Ensure A Happy New Year’s Eve

    [ad_1]

This NYE is going to be a mixed bag of retrograde planets, the moon in Taurus, and Venus and Pluto both in Capricorn. And what does that actually mean, you ask?

For one thing, Mercury and Mars both in retrograde could throw us off our usual game. As the twins explain, not only can goals or plans get delayed or reconfigured, but interactions could easily become heated and divisive.

Not exactly optimal energy for hosting (or attending) a New Year’s Eve party—or setting resolutions for that matter. As the twins note, “Save your 2023 resolutions to ‘draft,’ because you might edit them quite a few times over.”

Luckily, however, the moon in Taurus will provide us with some much-needed grounding and stability. And with Venus, the planet of luxury and pleasure, and Pluto, the planet of transformation, both in solid Capricorn, things could also feel a bit, shall we say, sultry.

Here are a handful of astrological do’s and don’ts to mind all these planetary placements—and get 2023 started on the right foot, from the twins.

  • Horoscope For Dec 26, 2022–Jan 2, 2023, From The AstroTwins

Horoscope For Dec 26, 2022–Jan 2, 2023, From The AstroTwins

    [ad_1]

Whenever you wake up on January 1—which may be later than usual with the languid Taurus moon encouraging you to stay in bed—no need to dive into the whole resolution-setting thing. Mercury is retrograde, remember? And in ambitious Capricorn, no less, so the stage won’t be set for such forward-thinking activities. We recommend holding off until January 21, when the first new moon of 2023, in experimental, progress-driven Aquarius, sets up a much better launchpad for your dreams. In the meanwhile, you can ease into 2023, using the first few weeks as a time for all the retrograde-positive “re-” activities, such as relaxing, reflecting, and reconfiguring.

That’s not to say you can’t start reviewing career goals right after the New Year. Scour LinkedIn and social media. Is a former colleague crushing it? And do you see an opening for a collaboration? Send a hello note or catch up over a cup of cheer. Don’t go in with an agenda; just nurture the relationship. If nothing else, you’ll leave the casual meetup inspired, with ideas you can apply to your own ambitious plans.

  • The Ninth House In Astrology: What It Is + Meaning In Your Chart

The Ninth House In Astrology: What It Is + Meaning In Your Chart

    [ad_1]

Throughout the course of your life, you’ll experience planetary movements that “transit,” or move through, the houses of your chart. These transits influence the way the planets, signs, and houses all interact within your charts.

The quicker-moving, inner planets, like the sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars, will transit your ninth house many times throughout your life, continually bringing up ninth house themes like belief, philosophy, religion, higher learning, and travel.

You may find you feel more inclined to travel to faraway places or make a big change when Mars is transiting your ninth house, for example. Or when Mercury transits your ninth house, you may want to pick up a new course of study, Pennington notes.

With the slower moving, outer planets, like Saturn or Pluto, the transits occur less frequently, but can still usher in major momentum and change.

At any given point, you can cross-check the current sky’s chart and your own birth chart, in order to figure out which planets and signs are in your ninth house, and further, how to layer or compile the themes of the ninth house with the planet or sign residing in it in order to maximize the transit.

  • Keen Psychic Site Review + What To Know Before You Try It

Keen Psychic Site Review + What To Know Before You Try It

    [ad_1]

For my first reading, I opted for a text chat, as opposed to a call. (No option for video calls, BTW.) The quiz had matched me with a few readers, including one who is a self-reported clairvoyant and empath. She told me that my life themes were “caretaker, adventurer, and nurturer,” and that communication is the biggest key within my career. As a writer, I couldn’t help but agree.

But after roughly seven minutes of back and forth text, I realized at $4/minute, I was quickly racking up a bill. So for my next reading, I opted for a phone call.

The reader I chose second was a self-reported intuitive and third-generation psychic. Over a call, she told me that I had been putting others first too much, and that I was entering a time of healing and focusing on myself. To be honest, I think a lot of people would resonate with that—but it did, indeed, track with how I’ve been feeling lately, so I’ll give it to her.

She also asked for my date of birth, so I believe she was using something like numerology or astrology to base her reading off of, though I didn’t ask her how she was coming to these conclusions. (And if that sounds sketchy, you’ll be happy to know everything about you as a querent is anonymous, including your name.)

This reader had a lower rate per minute than the first reader, plus a lot more can be covered when you’re talking instead of typing, so take that into account. Still I kept my eye on the time because I was working with a fixed trial amount. She ended up giving me three free minutes for a future reading, which I appreciated, but I couldn’t help but feel was a low-key ploy to get me to spend more with her.

My third reading was another call with a reader who is self-reportedly clairaudient and clairsentient. She was probably my favorite of the three, because she got the most specific. For one thing, she told me I was going to write a book, and I feel like you couldn’t say that to just anyone—but writing a book happens to already be a life goal of mine.

This reader was the most expensive of the three, at $5/minute, and suddenly our relatively short call was a $50 expense.

  • December Birthstone: What To Know About Turquoise & Its Meaning

December Birthstone: What To Know About Turquoise & Its Meaning

    [ad_1]

As Yulia Van Doren, author of Crystals: The Modern Guide to Crystal Healing and founder of Goldirocks previously told mbg, turquoise is a stone of folklore wisdom and natural magic. “It reminds us that we can draw support and healing from the natural world whenever needed—all you have to do is ask,” she says.

And according to Leavy, turquoise is associated with the elements of air and water, as well as the signs of Sagittarius, and less slightly, Capricorn.

“It really is a great stone for communication, intuition, emotional healing, and emotional balance,” Leavy tells mbg, adding, “It’s also good for present moment awareness and mindfulness, and self-expression—especially if you have a difficult time communicating your needs or talking about your feelings or emotions.”

It’s also good for self-confidence and promoting relaxation, any type of spiritual work, and even enhancing meditation. Long story short—this is a versatile stone in its application!

So to work with it, Leavy recommends carrying it in your pocket, particularly if you wanted to work on self-expression and self-competence. “Incorporating this crystal into your altar or sacred space, because of its connection with the water elements and with intuition, could be beneficial as well,” she adds.

And good news if you’re planning on gifting turquoise to a December baby in your life: Crystal expert Heather Askinosie previously wrote for mbg that when turquoise is given as a gift, its healing properties are thought to be magnified.

  • Sagittarius Season Has Arrived: Here’s What To Know About It

Sagittarius Season Has Arrived: Here’s What To Know About It

    [ad_1]

This Sagittarius season begins November 22 and will last until December 21, when Capricorn season begins. As astrology expert Imani Quinn tells mbg, Sagittarius is a super adventurous and rebellious sign ruled by Jupiter, the planet of luck, abundance, and expansion.

This is fitting energy coming off a Scorpio season, which Quinn notes had many of us going inward, and doing some internal excavation. “Sagittarius is going to now give us the space to go out and explore with this new identity, with whatever transformation we went through during Scorpio season,” she explains, adding that Sag is like a plane ticket or open invitation.

She notes that this season offers us an opportunity to show up differently than we have in the past, whether in our relationships, within our families (hello, holiday gatherings!), or even with ourselves. “And with Sagittarius being ruled by Jupiter, this is really about being able to put your desire desires into action,” Quinn adds.

In terms of the dates to watch out for between now and Capricorn season, Quinn notes we’ll have a new moon on the 23rd, the day after Sag season begins, and a full moon in Gemini on December 7. The sun and Venus will also be conjunct in Sagittarius from the beginning of Sag season until December 9, spotlighting relationships in a fresh and exciting way.

Sagittarius’ ruler, Jupiter, will also be ending its nearly five-month long retrograde period on the 23rd, the same day as the new moon. As such, Quinn says, “This is a great time to move your manifestations forward because luck is on your side.”

  • Aquarius & Libra Compatibility: Love, Friendship + More

Aquarius & Libra Compatibility: Love, Friendship + More

    [ad_1]

In order to understand the dynamic between Aquarius and Libra, let’s first look at what these two signs are all about. Libra, on one hand, is a cardinal air sign ruled by Venus, the planet of love, beauty, and pleasure. It’s the seventh sign of the astrological year and is symbolized by the scales, representing Libra’s inclination toward balance and harmony.

Aquarius, on the other hand, is a fixed air sign ruled by Uranus, the planet of innovation, imagination, and dramatic change. It’s the second to last sign of the astrological year and is symbolized by the water bearer, representing life-giving spiritual energy.

As astrology expert and author of Astrology SOS Imani Quinn tells mbg, given that these two signs share the element of air, “the most immediate thing about their compatibility is that they both process similarly—they’re going to intellectualize things, whether that be their relationships or their own internal processing system.”

As the AstroTwins previously explained to mbg, “Air signs bring everyone a breath of fresh air when things start to get stale. Like the breeze, you can’t quite catch them, and you never know where they’ll drop you once they sweep you up.”

Beyond their shared element, though, Libra’s and Aquarius’ personalities can be somewhat contradictory. And of course, it’s important to remember that calculating astrological compatibility (aka synastry), requires taking both people’s entire birth chart into account, not just their sun sign.

That said, here’s more on how these two signs fare in love and friendship, plus how they’re similar and different.

  • November 2022 Monthly Horoscope, From The AstroTwins

November 2022 Monthly Horoscope, From The AstroTwins

    [ad_1]

That would be more than enough to make anyone opt for a mail-in ballot. But at this lunar eclipse, the moon will also make acute contact with Uranus, Saturn, Mercury and Venus, locking into a tense T-square (a challenged 90-degree angle).

The moon and volatile Uranus, the sign of sudden changes and revolution, will be a mere one degree apart, traveling in conjunction on November 8. This definitely has us worried about erratic behavior at the polls, especially given the rise of gun violence (which can coincide with Uranus transits) this year. Voters, please be careful out there…and please vote.

Uranus rules technology, and this moon-Uranus mashup could incite another round of radical uprising. With Elon Musk taking the helm of Twitter on October 28, a mere three days after the Scorpio solar eclipse, many are worried that the line between hate speech and free speech will blur even more.

Across the zodiac wheel from the moon and Uranus are the Sun, Mercury, and Venus in Scorpio, stirring up more intensity. Wedged in between these five luminaries is authoritarian Saturn in Aquarius, the sign of society and politics. It’s going to be one heck of a day.

  • Astrology-Zodiac-signs.com Changed Its Name and is Now Zodiacsign.com

Astrology-Zodiac-signs.com Changed Its Name and is Now Zodiacsign.com

    [ad_1]

With the name change, Zodiacsign.com hopes that it will be able to attract more visitors to its website interested in learning more about themselves and the ones around them.

    Press Release

    updated: Oct 7, 2022

Popular astrology site, astrology-zodiac-signs.com, has changed its name to zodiacsign.com. The renaming, according to management, will help simplify the organization’s branding and make it easier for visitors to type the URL into their browsers.

The name change is significant news for the online community interested in star signs, astrology, Vedic principles, tarot cards, and horoscopes. Astrology-zodiac-signs.com attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors each day. The site’s apps on the Play Store and Apple Store will see their names change, too, as part of the rebranding effort.

Even with the name change, though, Zodiacsign.com is keen to point out that most of the site’s features remain intact. A lot of the rebranding is cosmetic and many of the underlying services will remain identical.

Zodiacsign.com offers impartial advice on all the astrological topics it covers. Unlike other sites, it does not have any particular philosophical or doctrinal bias. All the information that it displays is based on the position of the sun and users’ natal charts. If it does not have full horoscope information, its predictions will only be partially accurate, just like any other astrological examination.

The site is keen to point out that astrology is not a crystal ball.

“The true function of astrology is not exactly to predict our future,” the site says, “but to help us develop, grow and understand ourselves better.”

But unlike many other sites, Zodiacsign.com does not claim that it can tell people what will happen to them next in their lives. It also avoids any attempt to extract money from its audience. The site is content with providing users with impartial information to help them flourish.  Taking the science of astrology seriously. According to the site, the content that it publishes is more than mere stories. There’s real academic clout behind some of the claims.

Astrology was once an accepted part of the natural sciences, it says. Most natural philosophers deemed it to be fundamental to the understanding of the universe. Unfortunately, the church corrupted the perception of the discipline, and it soon fell out of serious study.  Emphasizing that more work needs to be done to complete the discipline. “Many of the scientists proclaiming [that astrology is not a science] haven’t had the opportunity to do any real astrological statistical analysis,” it says.

Zodiacsign.com has a significant team of people working behind the scenes to generate quality new content that appears daily. The name change, the site hopes, will increase demand for its predictions and make it even more popular among its current user base.

Pt Umesh Chandra Pant, a 2021 ThreeBestRated® Award-Winning Astrologer From Delhi, Explains the Benefits of Keeping Sphatik Mala

    [ad_1]

    Press Release

    updated: Apr 22, 2021

Original Crystal or Sphatik Mala has been part of the Asian tradition for centuries. People used them for good luck and pleasing the divine power. Now crystals have been used by people throughout the world for their countless benefits. And many have claimed that the crystals can improve people’s mood and bring good fortune.

But are these claims really true?

ThreeBestRated® reached out to Pt Umesh Chandra Pant, a ThreeBestRated® award-winning Astrologer from New Delhi. He has been practicing astrology for more than three decades. And he explains some of the benefits of keeping Original Crystal or Sphatik Mala at home.

Benefits of Original Crystal or Sphatik Mala:

    1. It keeps your body temperature cold, which can be very useful in relieving stress and headache.
    2. Improves concentration power; calms down body and mind.
    3. Removes negative energy, brings forth positive vibes.
    4.  Maintains the consistency of success, peace, and prosperity.
    5. Rids of faults related to Vaastu.

    About Pt Umesh Chandra Pant:

Growing up in a Brahmin family, Pt Umesh Chandra Pant has been extremely fond of his religion since childhood. His childhood exposure to cultural ceremonies typical in a Hindu Brahmin family has led him to develop an undying reverence to divinity and rituals dedicated to Supreme Almighty.

He initially worked as a part-time astrologer from 1988 before deciding to start doing it full-time in 2000. “I know, and I have seen it with my own eyes that astrology has been a great assistance in solving the problem of people,” he says.

“It is purely based on science. The ancient Indian sages gave a logical explanation of astrology, saying it is a science benefiting everyone. However, astrology can not work without confiding your trust in it. Astrology works based on the position of planets and study made thereof. According to the Hindu religion, Veda is our precious legacy for which astrology is one of its parts,” he further explains.

He worked alone for ten years till 2010, before teaming up with two more people. Today, his practice Pavitra Jyotish has more than 15 people working under him. “I have a team of 15 team members on Pavitra Jyotish, who contribute their services to our cause with the utmost reverence and dedications,” he says.

“The reason we made this happen can be attributed to the overwhelming love we received from countless people whom we served over 21 years of our astrological services,” he further adds.

Umesh Pant is proud to have helped thousands of people with their problems. “I believe that I am serving people who are frustrated in their lives with their problems, honestly. My happiness knows no bounds when people call me or send me an email informing me that how my service has brought forth positive changes in their lives or solved their problems, such as making headway in finding a new job or getting their delayed marriage resolved, etc..,” he says proudly.

He considers helping people his moral responsibility and has always served them with honesty. “I treat every person as if they were my family members. Even our culture, ‘Vasudev Kutumbkum’ (The whole world is a family) endorses this doctrine, and I want to make it real,” he notes.

Umesh Pant has been the recipient of the ThreeBestRated® award since 2019. And he is proud to have received it again in 2021. “I consider myself lucky to have been listed in Three Best Rated. Besides, I congratulate Three Best Rates for such initiatives meant for civic benefits. This will help people to choose the best professionals,” he says.
