Certain zodiac signs have a reputation for making excellent duos, while others might have a bit more trouble “clicking.” In the case of Aquarius and Gemini compatibility, these two air signs can make a powerful—and extremely intelligent—couple. There’s definitely more than meets the eye with this astrological pairing—here’s what to know.
A waxing crescent moon enters Taurus on March 12, 2024 at exactly 8:29 p.m. ET, bringing passion, pleasure, and spontaneous bursts of insight. You’ll feel gently pulled into this moon transit, as the moon in Taurus will immediately form a sextile with Venus in Pisces at 10:55 p.m. ET, encouraging you to read romance novels before bed and fall asleep spooning a lover’s body. However, you could also give in to your darker impulses as the moon squares off with secretive Pluto in Aquarius at 10:57 p.m. ET. Perhaps you’ll also be scrolling through your ex’s social media before you leave your phone on the charger for the night.
By midweek, you can expect something shocking and overwhelming to take place. As the moon joins forces with expansive Jupiter on March 13 at 7:12 p.m. ET, whatever you’re feeling will be amplified and magnified, increasing desires and intensifying the likelihood for success. However, you might wake up to some unexpected news on Thursday morning, as the moon will form a conjunction with unpredictable Uranus at 5:59 a.m. ET.

Your pride may bolster any frustrations and hurt feelings by lunchtime. The moon will square off with argumentative Mars in Aquarius at exactly 12 p.m. ET, which means sensitivities could set fire to larger conflicts if there is a lack of nuance or understanding. Luckily, you’ll be in a beautiful position to let bygones be bygones as the day comes to an end. With the moon forming a sextile to Neptune at 6:28 p.m. ET, you’ll allow love and forgiveness to soften the blow.

“Using water and bath time is like a ritual to alchemize your emotions, and of course you can add your favorite crystals, because they can be heightened with a new moon as well that you want to use for your manifestation.” Feel free to add other things, as well, like bath salts, essential oils, or incense—anything you feel will aid in your manifestation process, Quinn notes.

Dear Roya,
Why can’t I stop stalking my crush online?
I recently developed a crush on a guy who’s a mutual friend of all my best friends, and before we could even introduce ourselves, I was already stalking him on social media. We finally introduced ourselves to each other a couple days ago, but I didn’t really indicate that I was available or interested in him. He did follow me back on Instagram, and I asked him for his number, but I haven’t mustered the courage to ask him out or tell him that I think he’s cute.
I’ve told my friends that I’m crushing on him, but none of them think this could work out in the long run. They say we’re two very different people with different communication styles.
I’m 24 years old and I’ve never been in a relationship before. I’ve never even been on a proper date. And the last time I did this with a guy, it ended up being a traumatizing situation in which I was friendzoned. I like social media stalking my crush because it’s a security blanket and I don’t have to actually know whether he’ll reject me.
I want to get myself out there and actively go on dates. How do I break this pattern? Is there any hope for a connection with this guy in real life?
Sincerely, All Hung Up

Dear All Hung Up,
How exciting! Let’s take a moment to celebrate the fact that you have a crush. In a sea of boring and uninteresting people, you’ve found someone who quickens your heart and blossoms in your imagination. Although mildly terrifying, a crush is also a satisfying shock to the system, disrupting the monotony of day-to-day life and filling it with possibility. They could be your soulmate. They could also do something that gives you the “ick” the next time you see them. The possibilities are truly endless, and instead of assuming the worst ones will happen, let’s take this crush for what it is—proof that your heart is alive and open.
However, it’s also the endless list of possibilities that makes it easier to stalk your crush on social media than actually ask them out. Wearing your heart on your sleeve means risking rejection, disappointment, and in some cases, even humiliation. Scrolling through your crush’s feed feels like spending time with them. It’s where you can learn more about them without any of that uncomfortable risk involved. And if someone says they’ve never spent hours researching their crush to the point of figuring out their grandmother’s maiden name and accidentally liking their little sister’s photo, they’re lying.
I like you, Hung Up. I like your big heart and the way you yearn for love. We’re often taught to be ashamed of having a crush, but I think it makes you way more interesting than everyone else, and all this pent-up passion is beautifully reflected in your birth chart. Your moon is in water sign Scorpio, making you sensitive, empathetic, intense, and slightly obsessive. When you see something you want, nothing can take your mind off of it, which is both riveting and frustrating. This is emphasized by the fact that your moon forms a tight conjunction with Mars in Scorpio. In astrology, the moon rules over your emotional instincts, while Mars rules over your primal instincts. The moon is how you feel, but Mars is how you act. (See how your Mars sign takes action.)
Your emotions arrive in powerful tidal waves that could knock you over. Your heart is soaking wet when it wants something. However, feeling passionate about something—or someone—isn’t enough to make you take action. In fact, it’s when your emotions run high that you probably become even more nervous about making the next move. Your moon-Mars conjunction happens to oppose Saturn—planet of restriction and limitation—which causes you to feel as though you need to tamp down your feelings when they arise. However, seeing something as forbidden automatically makes it all the more tantalizing. Your Mars is also retrograde, and when a natal planet is retrograde, it can inhibit its expression and turn its energy inward. This causes your action-oriented Mars to hesitate and hold back due to fear of coming on too strong. When crushing on someone, you might feel like a bottle of champagne that has been shaken so vigorously that uncorking it would lead to a fizzy explosion. Because you’d rather avoid a mess, the bottle remains unopened, collecting dust on a shelf. But let me ask you this, Hung Up—what’s the point of champagne if you never get to drink it? (Learn more about each planetary retrograde.)
This is the issue with Instagram stalking your crush. You’re someone who has a tendency to idealize, as your sun, moon, Mars, and Saturn all form a T-square with Neptune, planet of fantasies and illusions. This reveals that you tend to deal with problems by escaping from reality, and because of your complicated history with love and relationships, you might see having a crush as a problem that must be avoided. And as you scroll through their feed, skim their followers, and analyze their interactions, your feelings for them build up in your imagination, making things messy when reality fails to measure up. Let’s remember your crush is also a human being; someone who can have bad breath in the morning, like the rest of us. Romanticizing them in your mind makes them seem untouchable, subconsciously putting you in a position of being unworthy of them. Shift that energy back to you, because your crush is lucky to have caught your attention. Don’t make your fear of rejection so big that it causes you to forget who you are. Rejecting you is less a statement of you and more a statement of them.
Through your internet sleuthing, you were able to ascertain your crush’s birth date. I always lean against looking into your crush’s birth chart too soon, because it can set unrealistic expectations that interfere with the organic process of getting to know someone. However, after looking at the synastry you share with your crush, I can also see that you might be viewing them with rose-colored glasses. Your moon-Mars conjunction forms an exact square with his Neptune, evoking nebulous energy not based in reality. You’re likely falling for a version of their personality that doesn’t exist, at least not in the way you think they do. I can also see why your friends would say your communication styles are too different, as your Venus in Gemini forms an exact square with his Venus in Virgo, which reveals conflicting methods of giving and receiving love. (See what love language your Venus sign speaks.)
Even though this crush may be clouding your ability to see the future, you’ve got a lot to look forward to, Hung Up. And while I can’t tell you exactly what will happen with your crush, I can confidently say I think you’ll have a significant romantic relationship when you turn 25 this year, taking your love life off the screen and into reality. In astro-lingo, your birthday is known as your solar return, as it is the moment the sun returns to the exact position it was in at the moment of your birth. And to gain a greater glimpse of how the next 365 days will go, you can always calculate your solar return chart.
In your solar return chart for 2024, you have a Capricorn moon in the fifth house of pleasure and romance. This indicates that a love story could be central to your emotional experiences this year. You also have Venus—planet of friends and flirtations—in Aries at exactly 29 degrees, which indicates that major relationship developments could unfold. (In astrology, the 29th degree is known as the “degree of fate”, because it is the last degree before a planet enters the next zodiac sign. This degree is powerful, intense, and chaotic, as it triggers the final push before karma is released.) Your natal Venus in Gemini is also exactly conjunct the Vertex of your solar return chart, which represents destined encounters with people who find us through no will of our own. This means you don’t have to do anything to make this romance happen. This romance will happen to you, not the other way around. (Read your 2024 horoscope for each zodiac sign.)
The last part of what I just said is important, as you tend to be the one who chases, not the one who allows themselves to be chased. You are a curious and intelligent Virgo rising, which means your ruling planet is Mercury in Aries in the eighth house of merging energies. Mercury is always searching for information, Aries can be passionate and pushy, and the eighth house is where intimacy happens, often in secret. This aligns with your penchant for Insta-stalking your crush, where closeness can be found instantly and without the other person knowing. It becomes a compulsion, this need to see their latest activity and look for proof you’re meant to be together. And although you may not be chasing your crush in real life, you have been chasing them online; chasing the rush of uncovering their mystery. But soon, life will show you that you don’t always have to be the chaser. In fact, it is when you allow yourself to be chased that you find someone who is truly right for you, because they see your value with no effort on your part.
Rest assured that 25 will be the year you actually let the champagne flow. You’ll shake it up, slice the top off, pour everyone a flute, and make a bubbly mess. Yes, there will be lots of clean-up. Yes, there may even be broken glass. But finally, you’ll be tasting it—the act of loving someone and being loved back. That champagne has always been yours to relax with and enjoy.

We’re seeing a gradual increase in the trend to find out whether people are compatible with someone or not based on their zodiac sign. According to Bumble’s sociologist Jess Carbino, Ph.D, this trend has to do with young people choosing to identify less with religion and more with spirituality and astrology. Today, let’s look at Gemini and Capricorn compatibility.
Are Capricorn and Gemini compatible in a relationship? According to AuthorityAstrology, the overall Gemini and Capricorn compatibility is 65%. At first, a Capricorn and Gemini relationship may look like an erratic and mismatched duet in the cosmic symphony of partnerships. Going by the general standards, you can’t really call Gemini and Capricorn soulmates. But surprisingly, Capricorn’s grounded earth and Gemini’s lively air combine to create an arrangement of contrasts and harmonies that defines their compatibility in love, sex, and marriage.
While Capricorn moves through the world with measured strides, driven by ambition and a constant commitment to stability, Gemini dances through life’s nuances with flexibility and intellectual prowess. This delicate balance is what Capricorn and Gemini compatibility is rooted in. With the help of expert astrologer Aakanksha Jhunjhunwala (Master’s degree focused on Counseling Psychology from the Indian Board of Alternative Medicine), let’s dive into the compatibility of a Gemini and Capricorn. From their core needs to their communication styles, we have all the insights of a Gemini-Capricorn relationship lined up for you.
What Makes Gemini And Capricorn Tick?
Giving us the broad strokes of Gemini and Capricorn relationship compatibility, Aakanksha says, “Gemini understands that Capricorn is very particular about their routine. However, they might choose not to follow it. The good thing is that Capricorn will not mind if the attraction is strong.”
Capricorn and Gemini compatibility, despite their differences, is quite visible in their relationship. Both zodiacs possess distinct qualities that drive their motivations and shape their perspectives on life and relationships, but their approach to understanding each other better can make their relationship last longer, even if their love languages are different.
Aakanksha adds, “Gemini likes harmony, they would click with someone who makes them feel at peace. Capricorn loves to be around someone who brings stability in their life. Food will attract them to their partner, so if the latter can cook for them, that would be it.”
We ask Aakanksha: How good is the Capricorn and Gemini compatibility sexually? And what attracts Gemini and Capricorn sexually to each other? She says, “Their sexual bond might not be too good in the beginning, but with conscious efforts, they are bound to evolve.” Gemini and Capricorn get along rarely. So, when you wonder, “Who are Capricorns compatible with?”, Gemini would rarely be the first obvious answer. Nor are Gemini and Capricorn soulmates in the typical sense of the word. But when they do connect, it’s a match made in heaven.

Gemini’s engine
Gemini is a mutable sign ruled by Mercury and thrives on mental stimulation, variety, and a ceaseless quest for knowledge. They are eternal pace-seekers who go beyond tried and true paths, driven by a thirst for information, new experiences, and social interactions. Geminis are usually extroverted charmers and can easily flirt even in a friendship. Making friends instantly is their cup of tea. If you know enough about Capricorns, you’d know that based on these qualities, the answer to “who are Capricorns compatible with” is rarely Gemini.
But what makes them like this? Their dual nature, symbolized by the Twins, gives them the tendency for adaptability and versatility in romantic relationships.
Gemini’s curiosity fuels their desire for exploration, both in the external world and within the realms of ideas, emotions, and deep feelings
Their penchant for communication and their wit often serve as their engine in relationships
Gemini’s approach toward life is lighthearted — something that attracts Capricorns to them too
They usually like to cut corners while maintaining relationships but if they are into you, they will go above and beyond for you
Capricorn is a cardinal sign guided by Saturn’s influence, operating with steadfast determination, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility. They are the builders and achievers of the zodiac, driven by ambitions, quick wits, and a resolute commitment to success. Capricorn and Gemini compatibility can be a rare sight as they have very different personalities.
Indirect flirting with a Capricorn man or woman can be a difficult task as they are not interested in hidden meanings. They are drawn to directness more than anything else, so if you are straightforward, they will come to you naturally
Capricorns approach life with a pragmatic mindset, valuing hard work, structure, and long-term goals
Their patience and persistence enable them to steadily climb the ladder of success, often displaying an unwavering dedication to their careers, relationships, and personal development
Shared aspects of Gemini and Capricorn compatibility
Despite their contrasting approaches, Gemini and Capricorn both possess an underlying desire for achievement, albeit in different realms. A Gemini woman attracted to a Capricorn man is usually head over heels in love. Both signs value integrity and authenticity, expressed in their unique ways. This approach uplifts their love affair and can make them a power couple. However, Gemini and Capricorn in bed might face some troubles initially.
Understanding what makes them both click with each other will involve recognizing and appreciating their individual drives and motivations. Gemini seeks authenticity through exploration and freedom, while Capricorn manifests it through work-life balance and the pursuit of excellence. So, whether it’s a Capricorn man and a Gemini woman or a Capricorn woman and Gemini man pair, to make the relationship work, they need to pay heed to and respect each other’s different approaches.
A Rundown On Gemini And Capricorn Compatibility
Gemini and Capricorn are so different in so many ways that it can lead you to question: do Gemini and Capricorn get along? While Gemini and Capricorn soulmates may be hard to come by, they can create a dynamic and surprisingly compatible relationship. So when you see a Gemini and Capricorn get along, their compatibility is a blend of contrasting personalities in balance.
Speaking of Gemini and Capricorn love compatibility, it’s vital to remember that conflict resolution is an important piece of the puzzle. So how do Capricorn and Gemini fight? Capricorn and Gemini both have different approaches to a conflict. While Gemini has a lighthearted approach to friction, Capricorn can be serious and rigid.
“Even so, Capricorn does bring some calmness in Gemini and Gemini brings some excitement in Capricorn’s life,” Aakanksha said, when asked about the long-term Gemini and Capricorn relationship compatibility. “Their different approaches are like two sides of a coin, it can either make their bond stronger or weaker. It’s about how much effort they are willing to appreciate each other’s differences and value the presence of each other in their lives,” she added. Let’s see Capricorn and Gemini’s relationship compatibility.
Read on to find out how Gemini and Capricorn fit together.
Communication and intellect
Gemini, an air sign ruled by Mercury, thrives on communication, mental agility, and adaptability. They are social butterflies, constantly seeking mental stimulation and variety in their interactions. Capricorn, an Earth sign ruled by Saturn, is more reserved, practical, and methodical. Despite this difference, they can foster strong Gemini and Capricorn relationship compatibility because:
Gemini’s quick wit and Capricorn’s thoughtful approach to discussions create a strong foundation for communication
Gemini’s ability to express ideas meshes well with Capricorn’s pragmatic thinking, fostering intellectual compatibility and mutual respect
Different approaches to life
Gemini’s approach to love is more playful and explorative. They tend to be spontaneous, embracing change and seeking excitement. They never settle for anything boring. In contrast, Capricorn is more cautious, valuing stability, structure, and long-term plans. While this can create tension initially, it also offers a chance for Gemini man and Capricorn woman to balance things out.
According to a user on Quora, “The Capricorn would balance out the Gemini and make them more “stable” and someone to rely on while the Gemini will be Capricorn’s entertainment and will find Gemini fun to be with.” Once they learn how to strike this balance, Gemini and Capricorn love compatibility can be pretty solid.
Emotional compatibility
Gemini is an emotionally sensitive zodiac sign, whereas because of their unwavering focus, Capricorns can sometimes be perceived as an unemotional and cold zodiac sign, even cutthroat. If it won’t matter in five years, Capricorn simply cannot be bothered with it today. So it can be assumed that Capricorns don’t have time for emotions, and Geminis find it difficult to keep their emotions under control.
You can see how that could create problems for Capricorn compatibility with Gemini. In fact, it may even leave you wondering, “How do Gemini and Capricorn get along at all?” Well, once an emotional connection is established, their differences can complement each other, and they can find common ground. Whether it is a Capricorn man and a Gemini woman relationship or a Capricorn woman and Gemini man pair, a strong emotional connection is what sustains such a connection.
Marriage compatibility
A Gemini woman attracted to Capricorn or a Gemini man attracted to a Capricorn woman would go to a great extent to make the relationship work. Understanding and compromise will be key to making their marriage work.
While Gemini is adaptable and values intellectual stimulation, Capricorn is practical, ambitious, and focused on long-term goals
Capricorns plan their acts of love well in advance and Geminis appreciate these efforts. Gemini’s spontaneity gives Capricorn a chance to do something different once in a while too
“In a marriage, they can embrace each other’s differences and take turns to do activities that the other enjoys. But if the love is superficial, they will not be able to do what the other person loves to do. This will result in distance and lack of intimacy,” Aakanksha says. This can cause the relationship to crumble, whether it is between a Capricorn man and a Gemini woman or a Capricorn woman and Gemini man.
There are a lot of things that attract Capricorn and Gemini to each other.
Sexual compatibility
Are Gemini and Capricorn sexually quite different? Yes. In the bedroom, their differing approaches toward romance might initially clash as they don’t have a similar pace. The sexual compatibility of these signs might seem a little off in the beginning. While Gemini tends to be experimental and enjoys the mental aspect of sex as much as the physical form of it, Capricorn is more reserved and might need time to open up.
Gemini and Capricorn in bed are bound to face a few challenges. Then, how do Gemini and Capricorn get along in the long term? Well, with understanding and communication, they can find a middle ground where Gemini’s creativity and Capricorn’s sensuality can connect them deeply on a sexual level.
Long-term compatibility and challenges
How do Capricorn and Gemini fight, though? Talking about the strengths and challenges of Capricorn and Gemini relationship, Aakanksha explained, “A strength of theirs is that either of them can take a step back when listening is required to understand what the other is trying to say. A weakness is that Capricorn can be stubborn or rigid at times which can escalate the situation. Gemini, at times, can act impulsively without understanding the consequences of it.”
In the long run, their differences might become apparent in their lifestyle choices and approaches to responsibilities. This can be a pain point in Capricorn and Gemini compatibility. However, if they find a way to appreciate each other’s strengths and compromise, they can build a strong long-term relationship and overcome most obstacles.
Key Pointers
Capricorn and Gemini are considered only 65% compatible. However, despite their differences, Gemini and Capricorn have a connection that will bring out their compatibility in various forms
Though they express it in different ways, both signs respect sincerity and integrity, and this approach can strengthen their relationship and make them a power pair
Over time, their disparities may manifest in the way they tackle duties and live their lives. Gemini’s yearning for flexibility and diversity may collide with Capricorn’s emphasis on security and a job
As is evident by now, the answer to “who are Capricorns compatible with” is not Gemini. A consistent Gemini and Capricorn compatibility requires understanding and effort in the relationship due to their differing natures. However, when they embrace each other’s strengths and work through their challenges, they can create a relationship that balances excitement with stability, intellect with practicality, resulting in a unique and fulfilling partnership. In essence, these signs are not exactly the best matches in astrology but it may not matter much because their efforts can turn the stars in their favor. All in all, you can rest assured of this relationship!
FAQs
1. Is Capricorn and Gemini a good match?
A Capricorn and Gemini couple usually has moderate compatibility. “This match is an average match; Capricorn could get critical about Gemini’s behavior. Gemini could find Capricorn a bit unpredictable,” according to Aakanksha. However, sometimes, a Gemini man and Capricorn woman can make a great couple.
“The only trait that could make them love each other is their mutual understanding. They know they are different and won’t try to change each other. They can drive each other crazy with their differences but that would make their love interesting. So, it is a risk that could go either way,” she adds further.
2. Why are Geminis attracted to Capricorns?
Geminis are attracted to Capricorn for many reasons. “Geminis are attracted to Capricorns because they have what Geminis lack, so the initial attraction is very strong. They appreciate the small efforts made by Capricorns. However, Geminis lose interest very easily when they feel they are not appreciated in return,” Aakanksha explains.
3. Why are Capricorns attracted to Geminis?
The attraction of Capricorns toward Gemini, as Aakanksha suggests, is because “Capricorns like the curiosity of Geminis with regard to exploring new things. They find it attractive even though they lack the energy to follow through. Also, a Capricorn likes how a Gemini can easily read the surroundings and act accordingly.”

In terms of other planetary aspects to watch around this full moon, Mercury, Saturn, and the sun are all conjunct in Pisces, forming oppositions to this moon. As such, Quinn notes, we’ll need to be mindful of clear communication and avoiding nebulous conversations, with Pisces influencing Mercury.
Are you willing to be seen, Scorpio? It’s not something you’re typically inclined to, but as this full moon lights up your 11th house of networks, humanitarianism, and larger community, Quinn explains, you’re being challenged to show up for the greater good. And sometimes, that involves putting yourself out there.
ARIES (March 21-April 19): Aries filmmaker Akira Kurosawa was one of the greats. In his 30 films, he crafted a reputation as a masterful storyteller. A key moment in his development as an emotionally intelligent artist came when he was 13 years old. His older brother Heigo took him to view the aftermath of the Great Kantō earthquake. Akira wanted to avert his gaze from the devastation, but Heigo compelled him to look. Why? He wished for Akira to learn to deal with fear by facing it directly. I think you Aries people are more skilled at this challenging exercise than all the other signs. I hope you will call on it with aplomb in the coming weeks. You may be amazed at the courage it arouses in you.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20): “When a mountain doesn’t listen, say a prayer to the sea,” said Taurus painter Cy Twombly. “If God doesn’t respond, direct your entreaties to Goddess,” I tell my Taurus friend Audrey. “If your mind doesn’t provide you with useful solutions, make an appeal to your heart instead,” my Taurus mentor advises me. This counsel should be useful for you in the coming weeks, Taurus. It’s time to be diligent, relentless, ingenious, and indefatigable in going after what you want. Keep asking until you find a source that will provide it.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Gemini philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson offered advice that’s perfect for you right now. He said, “Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us, or we find it not.” Here’s what I will add. First, you very much need to commune with extra doses of beauty in the coming weeks. Doing so will expedite your healing and further your education — two activities that are especially important. Second, one way to accomplish your assignment is to put yourself in the presence of all the beautiful people, places, and things you can find. Third, be imaginative as you cultivate beauty within yourself. How? That’s your homework.
CANCER (June 21-July 22): I bet that sometime soon, you will dream of flying through the sky on a magic carpet. In fact, this may be a recurring dream for you in the coming months. By June, you may have soared along on a floating rug over 10 times. Why? What’s this all about? I suspect it’s one aspect of a project that life is encouraging you to undertake. It’s an invitation to indulge in more flights of the imagination; to open your soul to mysterious potencies; to give your fantasy life permission to be wilder and freer. You know that old platitude “shit happens?” You’re ready to experiment with a variation on that: “Magic happens.”
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): On February 22, ancient Romans celebrated the holiday of Caristia. It was a time for reconciliation. People strove to heal estrangements and settle long-standing disagreements. Apologies were offered, and truces were negotiated. In alignment with current astrological omens, Leo, I recommend you revive this tradition. Now is an excellent time to embark on a crusade to unify, harmonize, restore, mend, and assuage. I dare you to put a higher priority on love than on ego!
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): My poet friend Jafna likes to say that only two types of love are available to us: too little and too much. We are either deprived of the precise amount and quality of the love we want, or else we have to deal with an excess of love that doesn’t match the kind we want. But I predict that this will at most be a mild problem for you in the coming weeks — and perhaps not a problem at all. You will have a knack for giving and receiving just the right amount of love, neither too little nor too much. And the love flowing toward you and from you will be gracefully appropriate.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): If the devil card comes up for me in a divinatory Tarot reading, I don’t get worried or scared that something bad might happen. On the contrary, I interpret it favorably. It means that an interesting problem or riddle has arrived or will soon arrive in my life — and that this twist can potentially make me wiser, kinder, and wilder. The appearance of the devil card suggests that I need to be challenged so as to grow a new capacity or understanding. It’s a good omen, telling me that life is conspiring to give me what I need to outgrow my limitations and ignorance. Now apply these principles, Libra, as you respond to the devil card I just drew for you.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): A taproot is a thick, central, and primary root from which a plant’s many roots branch out laterally. Typically, a taproot grows downward and is pretty straight. It may extend to a depth greater than the height of the plant sprouting above ground. Now let’s imagine that we humans have metaphorical taproots. They connect us with our sources of inner nourishment. They are lifelines to secret or hidden treasures we may be only partly conscious of. Let’s further imagine that in the coming months, Scorpio, your taproot will flourish, burgeon, and spread deeper to draw in new nutrients. Got all that? Now I invite you to infuse this beautiful vision with an outpouring of love for yourself and for the wondrous vitality you will be absorbing.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Behavioral ecologist Professor Dan Charbonneau has observed the habits of ants, bees, and other social insects. He says that a lot of the time, many of them just lounge around doing nothing. In fact, most animals do the same. The creatures of the natural world are just not very busy. Psychologist Dr. Sandi Mann urges us to learn from their lassitude. “We’ve created a society where we fear boredom, and we’re afraid of doing nothing,” she says. But that addiction to frenzy may limit our inclination to daydream, which in turn inhibits our creativity. I bring these facts to your attention, Sagittarius, because I suspect you’re in a phase when lolling around doing nothing much will be extra healthy for you. Liberate and nurture your daydreams, please!
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): “Education is an admirable thing,” wrote Oscar Wilde, “but it is well to remember that nothing worth knowing can be taught.” As I ponder your future in the coming weeks, I vociferously disagree with him. I am sure you can learn many things worth knowing from teachers of all kinds. It’s true that some of the lessons may be accidental or unofficial — and not delivered by traditional teachers. But that won’t diminish their value. I invite you to act as if you will in effect be enrolled in school 24/7 until the equinox.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): The planets Mars and Venus are both cruising through Aquarius. Do they signify that synchronicities will weave magic into your destiny? Yes! Here are a few possibilities I foresee: 1. smoldering flirtations that finally ignite; 2. arguments assuaged by love-making; 3. mix-ups about the interplay between love and lust or else wonderful synergies between love and lust; 4. lots of labyrinthine love talk, romantic sparring, and intricate exchange about the nature of desire; 5. adventures in the sexual frontiers; 6. opportunities to cultivate interesting new varieties of intimacy.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Unlike the Pope’s decrees, my proclamations are not infallible. As opposed to Nostradamus and many modern soothsayers, I never imagine I have the power to definitely decipher what’s ahead. One of my main mottoes is “The future is undecided. Our destinies are always mutable.” Please keep these caveats in mind whenever you commune with my horoscopes. Furthermore, consider adopting my approach as you navigate through the world — especially in the coming weeks, when your course will be extra responsive to your creative acts of willpower. Decide right now what you want the next chapter of your life story to be about. You can make it what you want.
Homework: What helpful tip would you like to deliver to the person you will be a year from now?

Also, when it comes to air signs like Libra, “You can’t quite catch them, like the breeze—and you never know where they’ll drop you once they sweep you up,” the twins say. Earth signs like Capricorn, on the other hand, can get cast as uptight or slow, but that’s only because they “think carefully about the long term and what the return on investment will be,” the twins add.
February 9, the day of the Aquarius new moon (a potent supermoon), is also Lunar New Year’s Eve. Bid farewell to the gentle, intuitive Water Rabbit, who is ruled by dreamy Neptune. Then, say hello to the vibrant, dynamic, Mars-ruled Wood Dragon—who is here to pour organic fertilizer on our individual dreams. This energy shift will be palpable.
This week we are moving full speed into the Age of Aquarius with so many prominent planets moving into this sign- expect this week to be subtly (or not) transformative.
Spend a lot of time being introspective and observe the choices that you make – are they healthy patterns or destructive? Don’t judge yourself just get to the root of the why.
Expect a bit of a rumble on the American political stage (yes there’s more) and surprising reveals from some beloved celebrities who has this sign prominent in their planet.
Transits to note:
A New Moon in Aquarius on Feb 9th which will now line right up with both the Sun and Pluto in Aquarius pushing us deeper into the Age of Aquarius. Under this New Moon you can do a simple ritual of writing down some of the ways you seek to expand your consciousness /spirituality over the next 30 days as well as call in new friends and partners that can help you do this.
Then on the 10th, we slip mentally into this sign as Mercury joins the Aquarian party bringing with it a fresh wave of mental activity – enhance this by taking in a ton of helpful information in any way that you see fit. As a spiritualist I’m always going to encourage you to expand your spiritual gifts and your consciousness.
Also it’s totally cool to wear those zany outfits – Aquarians love “zany” — especially if you’re bopping around during NYC FASHION WEEK, which kicks off the fashion season on the 9th, or you’re taking in Art during Mexico City’s gloriously indulgent art week which kicks off on the 7th.
Alrighty, let’s see what the stars have in store for you.

CAPRICORN:
Cappys are known for being grounded and levelheaded which is great. However 2024 will be pretty tumultuous and you may find that you all are anchored into your power while others around you are floundering. Be empathetic but pay attention to those who use hidden jealousy to poke holes into your confidence or work very hard to pull you into some drama that has nothing to do with you.
RED FLAG: Some old flames may rear their raggedy heads. Keep them on block and don’t falter- nothing has changed.
SWEET SPOT: Use this Aquarian energy to step out of your comfort zone- try a new dish or a new unusual nail polish color.

According to Quinn, this moon is encouraging you to speak up and let go of any fears that keep you from doing so. “Share your ideas, your needs, your desires—and let go of the extra fluff,” she says, adding, “Sometimes you can get in your own way when communicating, [so] just make sure it’s authentic to you.”
It’s officially a new calendar year, and Aquarius season has just begun as well. That can only mean one thing: we’ve got a Leo full moon on the horizon. Here’s what to know about the astrology at play behind this full moon, plus three rituals to work with it.
