    Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s brother and co-screenwriter Pranay Reddy Vanga was recently caught in an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla talking about the recent success of Animal and their future projects.

    In the interview, Pranay Reddy was asked about his future project with Allu Arjun which was earlier announced with T-Series bankrolling the project. Vanga revealed “It was just an announcement. Like Bhushan ji wanted us to associate, we haven’t discussed a story but it is just a placeholder.”

    He added, “Allu Arjun has a couple of movies to do and so do we. After that, we’ll work together. We just have an understanding now, but haven’t thought of anything else.”

    He further added “The only advantage about Animal Park is that all the characters are established, so it won’t take much time to take it forward, but for Allu Arjun’s project we have to think of something which suits his image and we have to develop it. Sandeep takes a sweet amount of time, we don’t know when we’ll do it but it’s definitely on the cards.”

    Pranay Reddy also talked about his brother’s next film with Prabhas in the lead role. The film titled Spirit is also bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T-Series and according to his words, the film will feature Prabhas as a cop for the very first time and most probably much like Vanga’s previous characters, he will also be an angry young man. The film is expected to go on floors in six months.

    Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been in the headlines for some time now, especially after the release of his latest film Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.     The actor has a history of illness. During 1995, while performing one of his plays the actor suffered his first heart attack. In 2011 he was diagnosed with throat cancer. Initially Ravindra and his family stayed strong and was hopeful that Berde will defeat the deadly disease. However, as time passed Ravindra’s health started detreating.     Fighter is produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures. The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor in lead roles. It will be the first film in a planned aerial action franchise and is set to release on January 25, 2024.

    Recently, Hrithik Roshan also revealed his character poster from Fighter on Instagram. His character’s name is Patty, aka Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania. The social media caption read, “Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, Call Sign: Patty. Designation: Squadron Pilot, Unit: Air Dragons. Fighter Forever.”

    As per reports, director Siddharth Anand wants the film to be an unforgettable theatrical experience. Fighter will release in the 3D and IMAX 3D formats as the design of the action sequences and jets aims to make an impact in both formats. While it will be the first Hrithik Roshan film to release in 3D, it will be the second 3D feature film after Padmaavat for Deepika Padukone.

    The COVID-19 pandemic delayed the pre-production of the film. It was initially set for a release on September 30, 2022. Ramon Chibb, an ex-army officer and writer, has co-written the film along with Siddharth Anand.

The filmmaker is pretty popular in Telugu states and Sandeep Reddy Vanga has transferred Ranbir Kapoor into a fiery man, a dare devil action star. Well, Rs 15 crores is a good start. He then opened up his phone screen and showed that Cocomelon is on his list. He also said that he is also listening to Baby Shark song a lot. He said, ‘Ek gaana hai Baby Shark, wo mera kaan se nikal raha hai, itna sun raha hun mein’. It looks like daughter Raha Kapoor has taken over his playlist and of course, Ranbir Kapor is a dotting father. Further, he said that he is also listen to song Chaleya from Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. About Animal, the actor said that it is the darkest film he has ever done. He said that the psyche is very dark. He also praised director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.     Bollywood icon Anil Kapoor and Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise shared the screen in the blockbuster Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. Anil Kapoor expressed his excitement about Tom’s films, stating that he always looks forward to them. He further revealed that some of his Bollywood peers, who once had reservations about Tom, have now transformed into ardent fans of the acclaimed American actor.

    Recently, in an interview with a leading news portal, “I’m looking forward to Christopher Nolan’s (Oppenheimer) — I always look forward to all his films. I look forward to Tom Cruise’s films, the kind of action he’s done. These are the people whom I really look up to.”

    He added, “I was very fortunate when I did (Ghost Protocol), and when I spoke to my then colleagues, they said ‘Nahi nahi yaar, woh baat nahi hai.’ I said, ‘Pata chalega aapko.’ Now everybody’s a fan after Top Gun: Maverick.”

    Anil Kapoor mentioned that he had encouraged his Bollywood friends to explore international projects, but they declined, expressing contentment with working in India. He recalled saying, “International kaam bhi karo,” but they responded, “Nahi hum India main theek hai.” However, he later discovered that many of them had secretly pursued opportunities in Los Angeles, seeking projects with streaming giants.

    The Romantics is now streaming on Netflix. The Docuseries directed by Indo-American filmmaker Smriti Mundhra tells the story of the making of Yash Chopra. The legendary filmmaker from Jalandhar and his journey of becoming one of the biggest directors in Indian cinema and making a production house Yash Raj Productions and Studio Yash Raj Films to reckon with. The docuseries has the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan and his Chopra’s sons Aditya Chopra, Uday Chopra and wife Pamela Chopra amongst others sharing all about the life and times of Yash Chopra and his cinematic journey.     In one of the episodes, we see Rishi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor talking about the making of Chandni (1989). The film starred Sridevi in titular role along with Rishi Kapoor and Vinod Khanna. The film was Yash Chopra’s last ditch effort to deliver a box office block buster after a series of flops. Talking about the same in The Romantics, Rishi Kapoor shares, “Yash ji didn’t know how to approach Sridevi. He had flops behind him while Sridevi was a big star.” Further Anil Kapoor revealed, “Yash ji asked my brother (Boney Kapoor) to talk to Sridevi and get her on board.     While that was Boney and Sridevi’s first meeting, the rest is history. They went on to work together with Sri starring in his productions starring along side his brother Anil Kapoor in many. Love blossomed between the two and they eventually got married in 1996.     Anil Kapoor also shared an anecdote about Sridevi not being convinced with the idea of wearing all white in Chandni. “Her mother also told Yash ji that white is not an auspicious colour for them. But he convinced both Sridevi and her mother somehow,” Anil reveals.

    Pamela, who has been very involved in Yash Chopra’s work shares, “He told Sridevi just one thing, ‘I believe in your talent, you believe in my vision as a director. Let’s do this’.”

    Chandni became a box office super hit and has attained a cult hit status with its fans spanning various generations.
