Deepika Padukone just unveiled her character poster from the highly anticipated action film Fighter. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the makers recently released the first look poster of Hrithik Roshan.
Fighter is produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures. The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor in lead roles. It will be the first film in a planned aerial action franchise and is set to release on January 25, 2024.
Deepika Padukone dropped her first look poster from the film on Instagram. She captioned the post with, “Squadron Leader Minal Rathore. Call Sign: Minni. Designation: Squadron Pilot. Unit: Air Dragons. #FighterOn25thJan #Fighter.”

Fighter introduces Deepika Padukone’s Minni
The character poster features Deepika looking sharp and fierce. Dressed in an Air Force uniform, she is sporting a pair of round sunglasses. The poster also reveals the name of her character as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore, aka Minni.
Recently, Hrithik Roshan also revealed his character poster from Fighter on Instagram. His character’s name is Patty, aka Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania. The social media caption read, “Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, Call Sign: Patty. Designation: Squadron Pilot, Unit: Air Dragons. Fighter Forever.”

As per reports, director Siddharth Anand wants the film to be an unforgettable theatrical experience. Fighter will release in the 3D and IMAX 3D formats as the design of the action sequences and jets aims to make an impact in both formats. While it will be the first Hrithik Roshan film to release in 3D, it will be the second 3D feature film after Padmaavat for Deepika Padukone.
The COVID-19 pandemic delayed the pre-production of the film. It was initially set for a release on September 30, 2022. Ramon Chibb, an ex-army officer and writer, has co-written the film along with Siddharth Anand.
Catch Fighter in theatres on January 25, 2024.
