(FOX40.COM) — An investigation is underway after a man was found down on the ground with life-threatening injuries in Sacramento.

Around 1:30 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department responded to the 7300 block of Greenhaven Drive for a medical call of a man down on the ground. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital.
His condition is unclear. However, homicide investigators responded to the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
