Following Vacasa’s acquisition by Casago for $130 million it has been announced that Vacasa is ending it’s partnership with Wyndham. Wyndham has put together a list of useful information/dates regarding reservations.
New Reservations
- New reservations may be made through November 30, 2025.
- Travel for new reservations must have a checkout date of Jan. 31, 2026 or earlier.
- No new reservations may be booked beginning December 1, 2025.
Existing Reservations
- All existing reservations remain intact and are expected to be honored.
- Members may modify existing reservations through November 30, 2025.
- If modifying stay dates, checkout must be for Jan. 31, 2026 or earlier.
- No new modifications may be made beginning December 1, 2025.
Availability and Cancellations
- We expect most Vacasa rentals to remain available during this transition.
- Some inventory may be limited due to recent booking system upgrades by Vacasa.
- Should a rental not be available, we’ll work to provide alternate options.
- Bookings may be cancelled at any time so long as in line with cancellation terms.
Our Verdict
Always sad to see a redemption option removed, this partnership has been hit by devaluations over the years (1, 2, 3) but was still useful to many.
