Deputies arrived at an apartment complex in the 2800 block of Corabel Lane, where the suspect was identified as 38-year-old Farishta Rahimi.
The investigation determined that the suspect and her spouse were arguing over a broken iPad when she hit him with a vacuum cord, leaving injuries.
SCSO said Rahimi then attacked her 10-year-old child with a metal pole, resulting in injuries and possible broken bones.
She then lunged at her 11-year-old child with a kitchen knife and cut the child’s hand, deputies said.
According to the sheriff’s office, there was a 4-year-old present during the attacks, but was left unharmed.
Rahimi was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on multiple felony charges and a $500,000 bail.
She is due in court on Friday.
