How much do Glastonbury tickets cost?

General admission tickets for Glastonbury 2025 will cost £373.50 + a £5 booking fee.

This is a price increase of £18.50. Tickets for Glastonbury 2024 cost £355 plus a £5 booking fee.

The price went up by £55 in 2024. “We have tried very hard to minimise the increase in price on the ticket, but we’re facing enormous rises in the costs of running this vast show, whilst still recovering from the huge financial impact of two years without a festival because of COVID,” festival organiser Emily Eavis said at the time.

“In these incredibly challenging times, we want to continue to bring you the best show in the world and provide our charities with funds which are more vital than ever.”

Fun fact (or not so fun, depending on how you look at it): the very first Glastonbury Festival in 1970 – when it was known as the ‘Pilton Festival’ – cost just £1. The following year, it was free.

Who will headline Glastonbury 2025?

The Glastonbury line-up is always announced after the first wave of ticket sales have taken place. However, rumours have already started circulating, including the likes of Eminem, Oasis, Raye, Harry Styles, Rihanna and Taylor Swift.

Then on 5th October, Ed Sheeran was tipped as a possible Glastonbury 2025 headliner. According to The Sun, a ‘huge Brit pop star is set to headline Glastonbury for the first time in 8 years,’ with Ed potentially taking to the Pyramid Stage on the Friday night, before continuing his European tour in Germany the following two evenings.

A source said: “Ed adores performing at Glastonbury and getting to sing to so many fans on a massive scale. He hasn’t got any big UK gigs lined up next summer, so this would be really special.

“He’s got loads of celebrity friends, so he is bound to have some famous collabs on stage with him if it comes off.”

There are also rumours of Olivia Rodrigo, given that the singer announced her rescheduled Manchester tour dates for 30th June and 1st July next year, a day after Glastonbury 2025 finishes.
