WESH 2 News has expanded its Sunday morning newscast lineup by an additional hour.You can now see WESH 2 News at 9 a.m. on WESH 2 and CW18. This will be a fourth-hour news program every Sunday morning.As part of our expansion, we are thrilled to announce Lindsey Sablan as our new Sunday morning anchor. Sablan has 20 years of experience anchoring, reporting and producing impactful consumer and investigative stories.Before joining WESH 2, Sablan dedicated the past decade to WINK News in Fort Myers, where she led high-profile coverage of significant events, including Hurricanes Helene, Milton, Ian, and Irma, as well as national stories such as the murder of Gabby Petito.Sablan is also a passionate storyteller who has produced and anchored special programs on critical community issues, including domestic violence awareness.Due to the additional hour, you can watch “Meet the Press” on Sunday mornings from 10 to 11 a.m.As usual, we will continue to be live on WESH 2 and CW18 from 5-8 a.m. WESH 2 News is excited to offer this extra hour as another opportunity to inform and serve our Central Florida community.
