With atmospheric moisture on the rise and a weak low pressure system near the state, we can expect scattered showers and storms in the forecast this weekend.
Saturday will be mostly cloudy and breezy with showers and storms in the area due to a passing low pressure area. The coverage will be at 60%.
Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.
Sunday will be partly sunny with some passing showers. The coverage will be at 40%.
Beach and boating
A small craft advisory may still be in place on Saturday with winds out of the east around 20 knots, so boating may not be recomended that day.
Sunday will see less wind, but it will still be rather breezy with choppy waters.
Both days this weekend will feature passing showers, but there will be fewer on Sunday, therefore making it the better beach day.

PINELLAS
- Fall Y’all Festival in Clearwater | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Activities include pumpkin contests, a corn maze, food trucks featuring fall treats, and local vendors showcasing crafts and goodies. There will also be plenty of fall photo opportunities.

- We Run These Streets 5K | 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.: The Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg is celebrating the beauty of South St. Pete, build ties with neighbors and friends, and improve the health of the community. You can run your fastest and push for a personal record, walk at your own speed, cheer others on, or stroll with your kids.

Free diapers and wipes will be available while supplies last, food distribution from Feeding Tampa Bay and giveaways and raffles throughout the day.

- Scaradise | 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. | $40 – $95: A three-day celebration of horror and pop culture is taking over the Florida State Fairgrounds this weekend, featuring celebrity guests from shows like “Daredevil,” “Yellowjackets,” and “Dexter,” plus panels, photo ops, and costume contests.
