With catchy choreography clearly inspired by TikTok trends, Shania Twain’s latest music video gets everybody dancing — from the laundromat to the supermarket to the local bar. “Giddy Up!” is the third single from her forthcoming Queen Of Me album, following “Waking Up Dreaming” and “Last Day of Summer.”

Shania explained that the new song’s title is inspired by her “Let’s Go Girls!” catchphrase from 1999’s “Man! I Feel Like a Woman”:

“[‘Let’s Go Girls!’ is] just something I said during the recording in the studio and I guess that’s the same for ‘Giddy Up!’ These lines come to me when I’m thinking about how to put a little ‘pep in my step.’ I want people to feel good when they hear the new album. I want to set a celebratory tone and ‘Giddy Up!’ is a way to call to the audience and say ‘Let’s get ready for some fun!’”

Embodying that celebratory tone, the music video starts out set in an auto repair shop. Shania — dressed in a dark jumpsuit and a black baseball cap with authentic smears of grease on her face — tosses a rag at her fellow mechanic to get him to turn the radio up. A waitress in a diner pulls out a large boombox and cranks it. The song begins to play at the pool hall in the back of a bar, the aisles of a supermarket, and at a laundromat. Everyone of all ages dances along in a memorable (and repeatable) blend of TikTok-meets-line-dancing.

True to its name, “Giddy Up!” is sure to appease Shania’s more country-leaning fans. “Queen Of Me comes out in one month (!) and ‘Giddy Up!’ is another taster of what you can expect. This song represents the ‘night on the town Shania’ whose prerogative is to have a little fun and go totally crazy!!” the singer tweeted.

Queen Of Me drops February 3.
