Washington County declared a state of emergency last night because of landslide damage on Highway 6, which led to a sunken roadway and affected the drive between Portland and Tillamook.
The roads currently have only one lane open to drivers.
The County is calling on governor Tina Kotek to issue FEMA funds so that the area can be properly repaired.
