Warmer afternoons this week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Tonight:

Clear and cool again with chilly lows by morning in the upper 30s to low 40s. Light winds and very dry. 

Monday:

Sunny and getting warmer with highs in the upper 70s to near 80°. It is very dry with low humidity and no rain in sight. 

Rest of the week

  • We stay rain-free and quiet headed into next week. 
  • Highs will near 80 degrees middle of next week
  • Back into low 70s next Friday and Saturday
  • High pressure keeping storms and tropical systems away

Tropical Update

Hurricane Oscar will impact the Bahamas and Cuba but is no threat to the United States at this moment. This will stay well southwest of the U.S. and could even dispaait over Cuba. High pressure over the U.S. keeps all systems away for now.
