Vacaville men die in Trinity County ATV crash

(FOX40.COM) — Two Vacaville men are dead after an ATV crash in Trinity County on Saturday, according to the CHP Trinity River Area unit.

Michael Cagnina, 65 and Bobby Jones, 47 were riding on Forest Service Rd 32N04 in the Hayfork area of the county when they went off the roadway, down an embankment and crashed into a tree.

Cagnina was found dead at the site of the crash by responding medical personnel and Jones died shortly after first responders arrived, according to the CHP.

It is unclear who was driving the ATV at the time of the crash. Alcohol and or drugs are suspected to be a factor.
