Ugly God has been accused of murdering his best friend’s father in Gulfport, Mississippi.
Local news outlet WLOX reports that officers arrived at the scene of a shooting in June 2023 to find Renaldo Delavallade, 50, dead from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. Chief Adam Cooper informed the media that a suspect was detained immediately, and the individual was cooperating with police.
Delavallade’s family is now accusing Ugly God of being the shooter. A relative named Tishia uploaded a series of videos to TikTok, claiming that Ugly God shot Delavallade three times in the face in broad daylight while he was driving.
She also shared a case report showing that the rapper, whose real name is Royce Cornell Davison-Rodriguez, shot the victim using a small-caliber handgun. She expressed her belief that the rapper won’t face any consequences because his uncle is a judge.

In one of her videos, she captioned, “My name is Renaldo Delavallade, a FATHER, SON, BROTHER, COUSIN!! I was murdered by my son’s best friend on 06-29-2023 in Gulfport, MS in broad daylight!!! Royce Davidson (UGLY GOD)!!!”
She continued, “He shot and admitted to shooting me at least three times in the face while I was leaving the home where I lived. My car was in drive, my foot was on the gas, and yes, there’s proof. When he shot me, my foot hit the gas, and I hit another car several houses down…”
“But they let him go, I guess because his uncle has influence downtown!” the relative alleges. “Yep, they called him off the bench, yes, out of court to get his nephew out! Judge (Damon Reese). But I’m dead NOW, and he is FREE!”
As of the reporting, it remains unclear if Ugly God is in police custody or if he is facing any charges.
