(KRON) — Two people were hospitalized with injuries suffered in a DUI crash near the intersection of South McDowell Boulevard and Caulfield Lane in Petaluma at about 11:30 p.m. Friday, according to the Petaluma Police Department.
The driver, Rodrigo Rosales-Ramirez, was allegedly drunk when he slammed his truck into a row of parked cars, injuring himself and his passenger. No one else was hurt in the crash.
“Evidence gathered at the scene, combined with field sobriety testing, confirmed impairment,” Petaluma PD said. “Upon being medically cleared, Rosales-Ramirez was placed under arrest and booked into the Sonoma County Jail on charges of felony driving under the influence resulting in injury.”
