Two teens were shot, leaving one in critical condition, after gunfire erupted outside a basketball game at a Bronx Police Athletic League facility Thursday, police sources said.

The boys, both 16, were with a group on Longwood Ave. near Fox St. in Longwood when a masked gunman stepped up and fired off at least three shots around 8:50 p.m., cops and police sources said.

One victim was shot in the head and the other was blasted in the leg, the sources said.

The younger teen fell to the pavement while the older one stumbled around the corner and away from the gunfire, the sources added.

They were both rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where the 14-year-old was in critical and the older teen was expected to recover.

A man working across the street heard the three shots.

“He was face-down on the sidewalk in front of the PAL,” the man said of the more seriously injured teen. “He wasn’t moving. It was bad man, bad.”

Police were still searching for the shooter late Thursday night.
