Trust claims $1 million lottery prize won in Sunderland

DORCHESTER, Mass. (WWLP) – A Greenfield trust has claimed a $1 million prize won on a ticket sold in Sunderland.

The prize was won in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$25,000,000 Mega Money” instant ticket game. The WMJ Nominee Trust of Greenfield, represented by trustee George Goodridge, received the prize on behalf of the winner in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes.

The winning ticket was purchased at Shell, located at 688 Amherst Road in Sunderland. The business will receive a bonus of $10,000 for selling the ticket.
