Duffle bags filled with drugs that may be valued at $7M found after inspection of commercial truck by Canada Border Services Agency officers

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have released details about an arrest at the Peace Bridge last month after they say an inspection turned up three duffle bags full of cocaine.

The RCMP did not put a dollar value on the drugs, but a similar sized drug bust last year in Alberta pegged the value in that case at $7 million.

The RCMP said this week that on March 14, a commercial truck entered Canada at the port of entry in Fort Erie and was referred for a secondary examination.
