A crash between a train and a car in Clayton has closed some roads in town.
The crash occurred around 10:45 a.m. at the intersection of Central Street and Main Street, according to a town spokesperson.
Emergency teams responded. The extent of injuries is not known.
Front Street is closed from the post office to Smith Street as crews work to remove the wreckage. Central Street between Main Street and Front Street is also closed.
Earlier this month, a 21-year-old Wendell woman died when she was hit by an Amtrak train in Clayton near Front Street.
