CardVault by Tom Brady is slated to open its first California location at Sacramento’s Downtown Commons.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A retailer co-owned by NFL legend Tom Brady is opening its first store in California in downtown Sacramento.
CardVault by Tom Brady announced its Sacramento location will be at Downtown Commons in the West Plaza across from Insomnia Cookies. The business has 10 other locations across the country, according to its website.
The Brady-backed retailer bills itself as a “premier destination for collectors and enthusiasts,” offering sales, trading, selling and grading sports cards and memorabilia.
CardVault by Tom Brady’s selection includes sports cards, trading cards, and collectibles from brands such as as Topps, Panini, Upper Deck, Pokemon and Fanatics Authentic.
At the Sacramento location, the retailer plans to host ongoing events, player appearances, trade nights and special product launches.
“Opening our first California store is a major milestone for CardVault, and Sacramento felt like the right place to do it,” CardVault by Tom Brady co-founder Ed Kane said in a press release. “DOCO sits at the center of sports, culture, and community, and being right outside the doors of Golden 1 Center puts us at the heart of the action.”
The retailer’s Sacramento grand opening is planned for Jan. 13 at 10 a.m. The first 20 customers in line could receive a limited edition CardVault by Tom Brady Sacramento-themed hats and a chance to win a signed Zach LaVine basketball.
The store will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
