The number of ongoing U.S. Department of Education investigations into complaints about shared ancestry discrimination at colleges and K-12 schools opened after the Israel-Hamas war broke out. The agency finished two of those reviews this week, finding that the University of Michigan and the City University of New York didn’t take the right steps to handle these complaints.
