I have grumbled about my small bathroom and lack of bathroom storage in so many articles on our sister site Apartment Therapy that I’m starting to get worried that my landlord will find these posts and wonder if I don’t love my apartment (I do!). However, I do have to go to great lengths to squeeze everything into Brooklyn’s tiniest and thinnest medicine cabinet and my cramped under-sink space (and that’s not counting all of the stuff my boyfriend wants to fit into the bathroom, too).

I used to test a ton of skincare and haircare before coming to Apartment Therapy, so I have quite a collection of beauty products to store. One of the problems with my under-sink cabinet is that the sink U-bend pipe cuts the cabinet awkwardly in half. There’s technically more room on the left side, but most bins and organizers are too wide to squeeze into the space. After going to The Container Store’s most recent press preview, I received the Everything Organizer Bin in size medium and determined that this aptly named product might solve my problem — and it exceeded my expectations.

What Is the Everything Organizer?

The Everything Organizer is exactly what it sounds like. This organizer can go anywhere in your home, including inside your kitchen cabinets, underneath your sink, on top of your desk, or in your closet. It has slim storage with dimensions of 6″L x 10 5/8″W x 6″H. It’s made out of plastic and has a divider in the middle, which keeps items separated and from toppling over. This organizer also comes in four different sizes.

Why I Love the Everything Organizer

As you can see from the photo above, this organizer (on the left) fits perfectly — with inches to spare, I might add! — in my cabinet. The Everything Organizer holds about 4-6 bottles more than the basket I had in there prior, which freed up some much-needed closet space.

At first, I was worried that the divider might awkwardly divide the organizer so that I couldn’t place bottles neatly inside, but that wasn’t an issue for me. Honestly, I think that I could have this organizer for years — once I finally run out of beauty products to store in it, I can move it to my kitchen to wrangle cleaning supplies or snacks. It truly is versatile, and for $17, that’s a great deal.
