Learning to do my own gel manicure has been such a game-changer now that I have a little human to look after. As someone who loved doing her own nails versus going to the salon (although I still go if I want something more complex), I knew I’d need to pivot to longer-lasting gels once I became a parent. Olive & June’s newly released Mani System makes doing your own nails so simple—I was able to test it before it came out, and can’t recommend it enough for DIY gel newbies.
Their Mani System comes with nail polish (pick one or six polishes from their selection), an LED gel lamp, a base and top coat (including one peel-off base coat option), the Poppy (for easy polish application), cuticle pusher, nail file, nail clipper, nail buffer, cuticle serum, cuticle remover, clean-up brush, and an acetone pot.
I’m so impressed with the nails I get using O&J’s system—they last for weeks, and I don’t have to leave the house (win!).
