If you’ve done as much field research as I have on the subject, you’d surely agree that inches behind a properly poured pint in a pub glass, the humble and ubiquitous long neck bottle is the optimal beer delivery vessel (when sufficiently chilled). And, while it’s undeniably true that the long neck bottle is one of the best, most satisfying ways to consume beer, soda, or seltzer, if you have a lot of those bottles in your fridge, it can be a real pain to store them. Though its shape is both aesthetically pleasing and ergonomic, you can’t really stack them in an efficient way, and the way they’re designed means that they tend to flop around and topple over when stored in the door of your fridge, especially when you’ve only got one or two rattling around. Plus, it’s nearly impossible to put anything on top of long necks, because of, well, their long necks. So, what’s a fella like me to do? Sacrifice precious refrigerator space for the sole purpose of making sure his beer stockpile is adequate? While certainly a noble cause, you’re probably thinking, surely there’s a better option — and, dear reader, there is. Allow me to introduce you to the BottleLoft.

While this might look odd — okay, while it definitely looks a little odd — the BottleLoft is really not a gimmicky product, because it actually delivers on its promise. It comes with two strips of bottle holders, which hold three beverages each. And by attaching the heavy-duty adhesive strips to the top of your refrigerator platform, you’re able to suspend the long neck bottles from the “ceiling” like bats in a cave, allowing you to store other items beneath them, which essentially creates extra storage space out of thin air. The coolest part? It works using super-strong neodymium magnets that (I can attest) have zero problem holding your bottles aloft. Plus, they use high-strength, genuine 3M high-bond adhesive and have a “Forever Return Policy” if you’re not satisfied with your purchase.

With a 4.7-star average rating on Uncommon Goods — purveyor of some of our favorite, quirky-yet-effective products on the web, it’s clear that I’m not the only one who digs these bad boys. “This is a great idea to create more room in your refrigerator,” one reviewer wrote. “You can combine them to put them in rows or columns, whichever works best for you.” So, if you’re hoping to make some extra room in your fridge, have a fun and unique way to store long neck bottles, or find a perfect gift for that beer-loving friend or family member (Father’s Day is coming up, just saying!) you really can’t go wrong with the BottleLoft
